Gym is nice and clean. It is never over crowded so I have never had to wait on any piece of exercise equipment (I have for massage table, but thats not a big deal and only once.) Only disappointment I have is they got rid of steam rooms during transformation, but not a deal breaker.

This gym is perfect example of you pay for what you get. I sign up a few months ago and I totally regret it. Majority of the equipment is run down, a lot of the cables machine are off balance makes it dangerous to use so I avoid that area, all the accessories you use on the cable machine are beat up. Free weights are filthy everything you touch feels sticky. But hey it’s cheap...

I cancelled my membership on their contact page like I was told. Not only did they NOT CANCEL my membership but they took 2 more months out of my account and a $30 fee. They claim they never got my email the previous month, but got the one this month. Yet they still charged me $41.81 altogether after I canceled and they refuse to refund me my money. They also accused me of emailing the wrong address....what the geniuses didn't realize is I used the EXACT form every time. Beware they will not cancel when you want and they will continue to take money and not refund the money they take from you.

Yes, this gym is a great price, but the staff is pretty terrible. I tried getting help with my membership, but nobody knew what they were doing and nobody responded to emails and when they did respond they would say, "I'm not sure, let me talk to the owners" then they would never get back to you.

Great gym. Equipment was in pretty good shape. One multi-use gym has had a cable on order since last Nov., but other than that I have no complaints. Staff is friendly and is quick to answer any questions you may have. Membership is very competitive to other gyms.

They have a lot of different machines and different services to it can be a little pricey if you don't go when they have their promotions so if you want to sign up make sure to look it up and see if they're having their $10 deal or something like that because I got mine when they didn't have a deal so I have to pay more also you're making a contract for a year so be ready for that if you cancel them you're still going to be liable for payments.

Great and energetic atmosphere! Customer service has been proven to be paramount at GYMBOX! Equipment is extremely clean despite the huge clientele! I believe their staff is greatly evaluated as the customer service is generally consistent.This is my home gym (attended on and off through last 2 years due to jobs), and I've been a member of this gym since 2013! My family lives here! I made the decision to start coming when my baby was old enough to stay in the daycare (5months, and our son was 1yr). I was coming off the heels of post partum depression, heavy alcohol abuse to cope, and desperately needed something to change so I could feel normal again. I gained 73 pounds through my pregnancies and just didn't feel like me anymore. I started coming 6 mornings a week for an hour at a time. I first met Jonathon and David at the front. David somehow always knows the right pep talk to give without you even telling him you need it. I've gone there on days that I felt hopeless and somehow in five minutes of sitting at the smoothie bar, my whole outlook was changed. Jonathon has offered a friendly face and conversation every day that we've seen him in the past year and some months. Our kids live for his high fives and fruit dispensing abilities. Both of them are truly good people and really made all the difference for both my husband and myself. The energy is unmatched. Everyone wants the best for eachother, whatever that is for them. I started in November 2016, and lost my 73 pounds of baggage (including anti depressants and daily drinking) I was carrying by January 2017. We use the VIP membership which includes daycare. It's worth every penny. My kids have a blast every time, all the girls in there are great and are so good with all the babies. My daughter turns 2 in June, my son turned 3 in February, and everyone there has become apart of our lives. Gym box truly is a lifestyle and if you trust the process and give everyone a chance, you can live this happy too.

Quiet honestly I never give reviews on anything but, after the way I was treated this morning by an employee named DAVID I decided to express my opinion!! I know it will do no good for this complaint but, guess what Mr. David I'm a grown woman, not some chiild you can talk down to!! That is the way you treated my daughter and I this morning like a child and that sir is very unprofessional!! The letting people call ahead to reserve a tanning bed, the letting your favorite customers behind the desk to come get the cleaner to clean their own beds and the ignoring me when you know I'm waiting on a bed that's empty. To the threatening me today and bascially calling me illiterate. That sir is not acceptable!! I wish I could speak to the owner of Gymbox but, I know even that probably wouldn't do any good if you're willing to employee people like David!! So people if you want to be locked into a year of poor customer service this is most definitely the place for you!! Sadly, I have to even give this place a 1!!!

Horrible customer service in the morning time. Very unprofessional. Got interrupted when I was politely asking to have my bed turned on and told "now listen to me". Then I had my bed shut off on me five minutes early. I do not appreciate being talked down to. When my mom and I were trying to cancel David was very rude and disrespectful about the process. He first off ignored us for 5 mins while talking to a customer whom he let behind the front desk. Then he had a horrible attitude when we were unaware it was a 12 month term. Saying that "you can obviously read right here it is in black and white if you can actually read." On a daily basis every morning we come there he has a horrible attitude towards us even though we never do anything, but come in there and mind our own business. Then he is constantly letting customers do whatever they want behind the front desk. Including, letting women getting the items behind the front desk to clean the tanning beds. Overall, gym equipment is great, but will not being going anymore, because of his severe unprofessionalism and poor customer service. Stay away from this gym in the morning unless you like being treated poorly.

I LOVE working out here. Its a great place with tons of equipment. The staff is great!! David is always ready to help, give advice and he is ALWAYS in a good mood. .my only issue is with the daycare area and staff. They are never friendly. They are on their phones all the time. And they all seem to wish they were doing something else. My kids are always ready to go. When i have to take my kids and use the DAYCARE i try and get in and out as soon as possible.

Let me give you a list of lies I was told.

1. No contract when you sign up because we have this great special going on!
2. Only $10 a month.
3. Called in to cancel my membership and they didn't cancel it! When I asked why they said we don't do that. Told them what happened and they have the record showing I called in and talked to said employee, but " she knows we don't do that so if she says she didn't do it then we believe her.
They caused me to bounce because of this and I asked for my money back. They told me no because they believe their employees no matter what even though they have proof I called in when I told them I did. I told them that I was going to starve this week because of it and was told "no your going to starve because you signed up for a membership you couldn't afford." That's why I called to cancel it in the first place!!!! Customer service is horrible. They are so desperate for money they have proof and still will believe an employee over proof.

I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff. My daughter goes with me every time and stays in the child care. She loves going and I've never had any issues with her being in there with kids of all ages..she loves the girls up there.

I love this gym. If you want to walk in a quiet dark gym and get your workout done as quick as possible this is not the place for you....

If you don't want to pay ridiculous prices for a gym this is your place. I've never had problems with the equipment. Clean showers, steam rooms, restrooms, and lockers. I don't have experience with the free weights but the machines have run well for me. The only downside for me is that there is no pool.

I recently went as a guest with a friend who is a member to try this gym out before signing any contracts. We did a boot camp that she was enrolled in together, I originally thought it was awesome they'd let me try out a boot camp at no charge. However the instructor didn't seem to care how many reps were done, in fact I never once remember him telling us how many sets should be done for any of the circuits we ran.

On top of this I left my one year old in their "daycare" (which was by no means an appropriate place for her) there were 6-7 year olds running around, throwing things and the staff just didnt seem to care. I wouldve imagined they would have organized activities or something for them but no. Basically they just let the kids do whatever they want, which means DESTROY everything in that room.
The area for infants was TRASHED with broken toys and food rappers. In addition when I did get done and went to pick up my child they told me she had been crying for 20 minutes.. Are you kidding me? I was literally 5 ft away why not come get me? So when I go to her and see whats wrong, her diaper was full. THEY NEVER CHECKED HER DIAPER! She had a SEVERE diaper rash after that and all weekend she screamed and cried anytime she sat down or had a diaper change.

The only reason I left my child there was because I felt obligated to because I was with a friend and had I gone alone I would've walked out of the gym right then and there.

This gym is not organized and the staff seems to have no cares in the world about the facility or customers/their children.

PICK IT UP GYMBOX, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

I have been blocked from the Facebook page for commenting asking if a manager could give me a call about unauthorized charges to my bank account. It's extremely irritating that we were promised a better gym experience and it fell short so much. Due to my experience with this gym, I would urge you to think twice before signing a contract with them due to their billing provider. The late charges (if you have any) double if not triple the cost of the monthly fee, which is honestly ridiculous because most people join this gym because it's cheap. I was initially impressed, though due to poor management my initial first good impressions of the gym went downhill fast.
There are other great gyms in Longview, check those out.
Gymbox is a very shady company and VERY poorly managed. Good luck.
