Hotworx is my home away from home. I spend each and every morning with the wonderful Virtual Trainers. It’s open 24/7! When I’m there during staffed hours the staff is always so helpful and nice. They keep me going for sure. The facility is clean and always welcoming. My favorite is the FX Zone where I can lift weights and get stronger!!

Just got off the phone with Parker the GM/ Owner of Hotworx in Castle Hills. I advised him that I misunderstood the cancellation policy. He responded that it was on the contract in multiple places. I told them I understood however I still thought the policy was horrible because it makes you pay a cancellation fee even though you have to be signed up for a minimum of 3 months. I told him I planned on writing a review to share my dislike for their policy. Parker then told me I was being a keyboard terrorist. All because I wanted to share my personal experience and dislike for a policy. He also said it's not his fault I did read the paperwork. For a GM/Owner Parker is very rude and disrespectful. I wasn't even planning on talking about the facility. No one goes over how to adjust/work the machines. It is unsanitary because people are in such a hurry they leave the rooms without wiping the machines down. Please beware!!

I took my wife as a guest and followed there procedure. Call before taking a guest. They did not answer the phone. I called 5 times, no one ever answered.
I took my wife, then Mr Parker ran my debit card for $107 2 days later. Unauthorized.....
I called to ask why, he said because I took a guest and he was canceling the membership. He was extremely rude. Since the beginning, every time I went the staff was always rude. I always felt uncomfortable.
Mr Parker raised his voice and yelled at me while on the phone.

Parker, this review is in regards to the manager of this location. I was late with my payment for the month of December the day I was making my payment, Parkers called my phone with nothing but poor customer service. The conversation went so horribly wrong that I had to call my loved ones to report the encounter because I was genuinely afraid for my safety. He then proceeded to call my phone over five times back to back yelling obscenities. He was so rude and threatening, the worst part is that happened over a month ago and since the owner of the location has yet to reach out to me. Yet to offer a solution or apology in my discomfort. I refuse to go to that location and in return the manager Park has continued to harass me through text and has attempted to charge my card seven times a day since the incident. I was on a three month commitment but beware because the contract reads that you must continue two months after or pay a 99 early termination fee after your commitment timeframe (unheard of). They continue to mention they are a small business but the customer service is even smaller.

I have been a member if hotworx before and loved the experience so I will say it was particularly this location s manager. It does appear the corporation as a whole lack core values and standards as the different franchises seen to vary in service. The last location I was a member of changed management three times within a year and would say “it wasn’t worth the investment”.

Lastly, I am more than disappointed in corporate as well. I have sent multiple messages about the incident and have heard nothing back.

And before Tresa, the owner replying to all the negative reviews come and reply here, I would like to say. Parker mentioned she listened to the phone call and since then I have heard nothing back from her. I even called and requested a call and nothing. Service rating is below average.

Hotworx is amazing!! If you are doubting about coming in, like I did at first, please no more doubts. You will love the different exercises that they offer. You have the option to go on your own pace with each exercise. I started about 2-3 months ago and have already lost 8 lbs. Dedication is the key. I also love coming to Hotworx because it allows me to spend some mother and daughter time. Come and try it!! You will not regret it.

Really enjoy exercising in a sauna room. Clean as far as I can tell. You rely on people to clean equipment after using it. I wish they would post the hours of when an attendant is there. Several time I've wanted to buy merchandise or wanted to discuss my membership made several trips and no one is there. Yes I could call, not sure why I didn't.

Hotworx Carrollton is the ultimate workout facility. It has awesome workout routines that update regularly, the facility is incredibly clean and well-maintained from the front door to the back door and they have the absolutely best staff ever. Everyone is extremely supportive and friendly. I love that I am warmly greeted each and every time I come in (during staffed hours) for my daily workouts.

I love the program and the GM & Staff so much that for my second six months I committed to Sweat Everywhere so I can use the new studio coming in the near future that is closer to my home as well as my home studio of Hotworx Carrollton.

OK so my skin didn’t do too well with the heat but I was so in love with the facility and the staff was phenomenal very considerate very caring very understanding about what happened and also just all-around extremely nice it is very hard to find people who actually do not mind helping and delivering good customer service I most definitely recommend this place over all the gyms I have been to if your body can handle the heat I promise this is the perfect place!!!!

I LOVE a good sweet sesh at HOTWORX Carrollton! I'm new to the bike world and love the Hot Cycle class! It's the perfect amount of time and provides allll the burn and sweat! I’ve been an active member since they opened.
Having done CrossFit I was skeptical of the results but I’m happy to report that the results from the workouts have more than exceeded my expectations. The heat alone from the saunas is enough to leave you revitalized, add in the detox from the sweat and putting in the work makes for an experience that I’m always anxious to go back for. I ❤️❤️❤️ HOTWORX Carrollton. The team is so friendly. Parker is my fav - always opens the door if he sees me, makes sure the sauna i scheduled is ready, always has he some fun program to encourage as many visits as I can make in a week with some prize. For me, that encouragement is really helpful since I work too work much already. I’m down 10 lbs since I started at HOTWORX. Equally, my energy level is up big time. My favorite workout is the HOTBLAST which has been the most appealing workout for me getting back in the gym. HOTWORX Carrollton is fantastic!  The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and sensitive to the needs of their clients.  I've never walked into one of their saunas and observed dirt or sweat and if you've completed any of the workouts, that's a huge feat!   The virtual instructors for each of the SEVEN DIFFERENT classes are great!  Being able to complete a different workout, (or the same if you prefer) including a great set of free weights, kettlebells and FX equipment, each time I'm in keeps me coming back.  If you are on the fence about signing up, just do it!  My sister joined a HOTWORX in another state and raved about it.  I could hardly wait for HOTWORX Carrollton to open, and when they did, they did not disappoint.   As a side note: Their diligence during COVID19 has been spot on.  They have definitely created a clean and sanitized environment!
