Hotworx Conroe River Plantation: A Fitness Experience Tarnished by Rude Staff
I've been a member of Hotworx Conroe River Plantation for 2 years now. While I initially enjoyed the workouts, my experience has been significantly soured by the consistently rude and unprofessional behavior of a staff member named Katya.
Katya's attitude is dismissive and condescending, making it unpleasant to visit the gym. Her lack of customer service skills creates a hostile environment that detracts from the overall experience. It's disheartening to encounter such poor behavior from someone representing the business.

10/10 recommend choosing this location as your home gym, especially if you do a Sweat Everywhere!! I have been to numerous Hotworx locations and this was by far the nicest, cleanest facility I’ve been in. I was shocked to see that even after being closed due to storms, the gym was still so clean! I don’t understand how they have negative reviews because the facility was clean and they have the sweetest staff!! I typically hate working out but love doing the Hotworx sessions, if you’re thinking about joining DO IT!!!!

I’m not a member, but the lady that helps me and my partner during the storm was an angel. She was the sweetest, most kind person. There was a really awful storm Tuesday and we pulled over because I’m not the best driver in those conditions.
It was me and my partner and another lady with 2 kids. It goes to show there are amazing people in the world. With that being said if she was that amazing to us and we didn’t pay for a service just imagine your experience with the products and services they offer!

If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would!!
The "so-called" manager Taylor doesn't seem that she's focused on work at all. So many unprofessional, personal conversations being had right in front of members. From my knowledge, they have lost at least three employees recently. Being that I'm a Sweat Everywhere Member, I have seen my fair share of different locations. This was by far the WORST I have been to.
The facility itself is not kept up to par. This place could use a SERIOUS deep clean in more ways than one!

Love working out here very clean and the staff is super friendly and informative. It’s the best time of my day when I can go it’s like a breath of fresh air! I’ve seen amazing results in the last 6 months of going to this gym! Unlike other gyms they keep there bathrooms very clean and have a shower, perfume and other hygiene items that you would see expensive gyms having!

This is the absolute WORST location around. The girl who was working didn't even know what a weight scale was. She was very confused. I'm confused about how one would work at a fitness facility and NOT know what a weight scale is. I don't know why this location is open, but the 5-star reviews have clearly not been to ANY of the locations from Houston to Huntsville to see how awful this place is. The place is dark and creepy, and has no phone signal. They use wipes and toxic sprays to mask the smell and give the impression the place is clean. The place looks dirty, especially the bathrooms. Upon leaving the girl was sitting by register on the floor. No thank you for coming or have a good day. Horrible Experience.

This place is pretty chill. The location behind the train tracks is a bit unfortunate since the traffic backs up it becomes impossible to plan a last minute workout before work or any scheduled activity since it can take +15-25 mins if a train is passing. Otherwise the Saunas are never preheated. Not sure if that is standard or not but I was told it would be during staffed hours if the sauna was booked, plan extra time to heat your own sauna
Edit: as I type this review a train passed on arrival, and now another 1 hour later. Conroe is also a cool down station so the trains can just stop and park blocking the intersection indefinitely. Again the trains aren’t the problem so much so as the traffic backed down the road.

I absolutely love this place. The facility is easily accessible. Great location. Fits anybody’s schedule open 24 hours. Get 1,2 or 3 workouts and be on your way! During staffed or non-staffed hours you can communicate with the staff easily by text or call. They are very helpful. The facility is very clean. Highly recommend!

Do NOT sign up here. This place is one of the worst Hotworx facilities I have ever been in. The staff is lackluster, very nonchalant. There is NO AC. You have saunas why would your building have no AC? That should be a code violation if some sort. There facility has no towels for equipment like the other facilities. They don't keep the saunas heated in case people have an opportunity to exercise at the last moment. Unprofessional, they were eating fast food with wrappers and bags all over the place as soon as I walked in. Why not find a more secluded area since there are two of you? The young ladies had no idea what was in their cleaning solution... she told me lysol and water. The bathroom is awful. AND there is absolutely no phone signal in case you have an emergency. If I could give negative I would. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
