They have great communication when they want you to join but if you want to cancel they make it ridiculously hard for working women. They’ve gotten me confused with another member though email. ( idk how that even happens) Make sure you really think about the contract before signing. The equipment is very close together so book when only one person is there. 24 hour is convenient but the lights turn off when there’s no motion so it’s kinda scary. I joined two years ago and they should’ve never let some of the old staff go went downhill after

I have repeatedly cancelled my membership yet they continue to debit my bank account. After disputing a $118.00 transaction HOTWORX submitted a picture of a random woman stating it was me using & entering the facility. It is not me. Funny thing is I was on an airplane that day & provided the investigator that information. I will be posting the photo to see if anyone claims themselves in the photo. I am also getting harassing text messages after 9pm on Sunday evenings. Deceptive Trade Practices, Fraud just to name a few. I have filed a police report & consulted an attorney. I will follow through. Stay clear of the Southside location.

Canceling my membership at the studio was a frustrating experience that took me several weeks. Initially, I visited the studio, hoping they could assist me, but they informed me that they couldn’t help me with the cancellation process at that time. I was then advised to contact the manager via email. However, I never received a response from the manager until I made a phone call to the studio. Finally, I received an email from the manager.

I opted for the certified mail route for my cancellation, but unfortunately, my letter failed to be delivered because the studio was still closed at the time of delivery. I made several more calls to the studio and emails to the manager, but my issue remained unresolved.

Frustrated, I decided to visit the studio again and spoke to a staff member. Thanks to Mackenzie. She was able to help me with the cancellation process, and my membership was finally canceled. However, I was still left with concerns about the facility’s cancellation process and the manager’s communication.

The manager only responded to my emails when I called the studio, and despite my previous request, she claimed that she tries to reply to emails within 24 hours. My last email was sent three days ago, and I still haven’t received a response.

I joined HOTWORX @ the Corpus Christi Southside location 3 months ago and I LOVE it. The 24/7 access and the online scheduling through the app is definitely convenient, especially if you have a busy day to day schedule. Jordan and the girls there are super sweet and welcome you kindly each visit.

I really like this place. It's 24/7 and new classes start every 45 or 15 mins, depending if you want to take a class or focus on cardio. Staff is nice and place is pretty clean. I also like the app that tracks your calories burned and you get rewards!

Hands down the BEST Hotworx I’ve ever been to! The retail is always fully stocked with every product you could need (no guessing games or empty shelves here) They consistently roll out new challenge cards every single month (yes, actually on time!), which makes staying motivated so easy and you can win prizes just for showing up! I’ve been to other locations where they haven’t updated challenge cards in months or even bothered to restock retail, but this one truly goes above and beyond. The equipment is in perfect condition, and any concerns are taken care of immediately. The manager, Jordan, is incredible she’s super responsive and always willing to help. The whole team is welcoming, positive, and genuinely sweet. Big shoutout to Wayttyn, ask for them when you go in! If you’re looking for a studio that’s organized, clean, and actually cares about your fitness journey, this is the one. So thankful I found this location, it sets the standard!

Do yourself a favor and don't sign a contract with this business. Jordan, the manager at this location (for only a few months btw) has now illegally charged my credit card for 3 months. I have documentation that I cancelled my membership, both via text and in writing with a letter personally delivered to the prior manager. I have documentation from the prior manager that I was only required to make one more $84 payment, which I did. And yet, Jordan cares about none of this documentation and continues to commit fraud in bad faith. She has personally ignored all of my legally binding written documentation and continues her fraudulent acts. I have reported the business and her personally to the Federal Trade Commission as repeated violations of the Fair Credit Billing Act.

TO CLARIFY: I was upset and no longer want to be part of this gym due to comments made about my body by other members, not the staff. The owner's response is unacceptable - in person when I tried to cancel my membership, I was told that the other members are allowed to say what they want.

The environment isn't very body positive. I'm not the smallest and was made to feel pretty unwelcome.

Also the cancellation fees are CRAZY and they make the process really difficult. You'd think they'd make it easier if they don't want chubby people at their gym

Discrimination to the max. If you don’t fit their asthetic they treat you wrong. Allows kids to be sitting unattended and the showers are backed up and dirty. Fungus all day. I have been to the facility and considering what was witnessed I stand by my review. Relationship aside because treating people wrong based on race or their financial obligations with no explanation as to why something is happening is morally and ethically wrong.

I am a busy mom who works full time, my husband also and our schedules sometimes are not able to coincide. With HOTWORX we are able to work out at our convenience.
Everyone has been really friendly and welcome. I dread gyms because I don’t know how to work out with machines. Here is like taking a class but at your convenience.

This is such a different and healing environment as far as fitness goes! My husband and I joined after we had been in a car wreck. We felt that this would be a great place to get ourselves back to where we were before the accident. With yoga, stretch, and a variety of other heated workouts it's been an amazing journey. I have been going to Hotworx Southside since the end of August and I haven’t felt this good since I was a college athlete. I have had three knee surgeries and this helps me get a good workout in with low impact on my knees. The sauna helps me feel rejuvenated and I get such a good sweat going. It has been very frustrating trying to find a workout routine that works for me and I’ve finally found it. Hotworx has a variety of classes so you won’t get bored. I love pairing an iso workout with one of the hiit workouts. Another nice feature these classes have is if you cannot do what the instructor is demonstrating they always have a modification. This is good for me because if an exercise is hurting my knee I am able to do the exercise in a modified version. My flexibility, mobility and strength have increased tremendously in just a short amount of time. On top of all of that the staff members are very friendly and helpful. The gym is very clean and it is open 24 hours. I highly recommend checking them out! They even run specials where you can workout your first time for free. That’s how I found out about them and I never looked back!
