I have loved HOTWORX at Denton Crossing. I have received excellent and responsive customer service. The sauna experienced has had as much positive impact on my mental health as it has my physical health. I can only echo the review below saying that HOTWORX is my happy place.

When I needed to cancel my membership due to a loss of income I was terribly sad. I was met with quick response and I did not experience trouble with this process.

I cannot wait to be able to rejoin in the future.

Horrible service . Called many times to cancel and the workers say the owners are never on site. I also sent many messages and no one ever got back to me to cancel my membership. It is a waste of $68 a month . Especially when I have been trying to cancel for the longest. Such a scam . It’s insane how easy it is to get a membership , but if we want to cancel no one ever gets back. Extremely unprofessional. I don’t know how hard it is to cancel a membership. Extremely ridiculous. They are understaffed and no one helps to cancel.

Very difficult to cancel. I called to cancel my membership and was instructed to send it in writing via email. Sent the email and was told it was received. Never received confirmation or any kind of feedback so assumed all was well. Unfortunately, I was charged the following month. Called the studio about this and was told I need to drive to the studio, over an hour away, to cancel. I asked the studio to reconsider, due to distance. Was told someone would follow up with me momentarily. Still haven’t received a call or email response.

I moved out of Texas 2 years ago and this location is still charging me $60 a month after I already cancelled my membership. It’s been 2 YEARS and they are still charging me, won’t answer my calls and won’t call me back. Do NOT sign up at this location, they will steal your money and never respond. I will be lawyering up. 2 years of stealing money is ABSURD.

This one is gross. The staff has a major attitude problem. They never clean the saunas, they vacuum at the end of the night but never mop. Their floors give you splinters. Rooms smell of mold even if they hang a scented bag in there. Equipment always broken. One of the bikes has been broken for almost 6 months so get here early to claim a bike that's not broken. Staff is always on the cellphones texting or talking to each other. Saw staff just sit at the front desk just texting away while all the saunas were cold. They Ñever turn the saunas on so get here early to turn it on. No water fountain and they want to charge for the water bottles. Do not sign up with this one. Thank goodness another one opened in denton. Will be switching gyms. Oh and these "4-5" star reviews are bc they give you a discount or something for leaving them a good review. There is a reason no current reviews

Where do I start! ☺️Had my first 🥇 workout at Hotworx Friday Feb 3, I was so anxious and eager to finally check it out. I actually signed up for a membership online in January before even visiting a Hotworx because I'm in love with Saunas and knew more than likely me and Hotworx would be a good match 😎 I was still living out of state where there wasn't a Hotworx when I signed up..so fast forward move back to Texas 6 weeks after signing up and let me tell you the best decision I've made for my health in 2023 🎉My first workout I brought my boyfriend to try it out with me we were greeted my Kate "the manager" at the *Denton* location. She is super friendly and and so welcoming!💙She was just as excited as me for my first visit 🥳 She went over everything and gave me my door pin and helped me download the Hotworx app and gave me a quick tutorial on how to use it. We decided to try the Barre none as that was the sauna available with with our time frame and I was nervous about sharing the sauna my first time with someone I didn't know on my first workout there.We then did a Hot Thunder water 🌊 row HITT workout after. Kate said this was called a Bonfire 🔥 when you do a 40 minute ISO class followed by a Row or Cycle session. We left with smiles on our faces and endorphins high 🤗 I am going in today for my third 🥉 workout as well. Yes it's a boutique priced gym and not a $10 dollar a month gym but if you can financially swing it.. Plus it's 24 hours all 7 days a week!!! 🔥 safe for us ladies or any solo individual. Just carry the alert necklace with you if there overnight. You will not regret doing something good for yourself..FX Zone is a great add in while you wait in between workouts. Tell them Arielle G. I got hooked after doing 1 free workout. This winter caused me to have dry skin and this natural sweat/detox has my skin feeling 100x better. After about 10 workout sessions I’m feeling results in my muscles. I like the barre none, iso, and pilates. The room is clean and they are very sanitary! This gym isn’t cheap, but I find it worth it as it is 24 hours and comfortable, as everyone is respectful.

I have been a member of HOTWORX since 2019 at two other locations. I recently changed to the Denton location this month. I like the area, plenty of parking, and the staff is really nice.

I was slightly disappointed this location does not have a shower, but even more disappointed there is no water fountain or water cooler provided for members. There is water for purchase in the vending machine. Out of all the fitness facilities I’ve attended as a guest or as a member there has always been water provided. I really hope this location reconsiders and provide members some type of water dispenser without an additional cost.

Make very sure that this is a service you will absolutely use or this company will gouge you for up to 2 additional months of dues and/or fees just because you decided this type of fitness program was not for you. To top it all off, with Covid-19 restrictions in 2020 and into 2021, my wife and I could not use this facility and management did not care whatsoever--they insisted to hold absolutely to "the contract" and had zero compassion or concern on an individual basis. It will cost approximately $105 for my wife and I to cancel effective immediately, or approximately $165 if we give our "two-month" notice.

My wife and I tried this "hot yoga" option because of the great reviews, and I am happy for those that really and truly gained benefit from this service, but this company treats those who do not benefit, or cannot use their facilities through no fault, with total disregard. The contract is written to ensure this service gets a minimum of 90-days of your money, and each month that passes means two more months of fees. The least expensive "exit" is if you show proof you have actually moved and have a contract from the purchase of your new home or a signed rental agreement. This is draconian treatment. If you "like" them, terrific; if not, be prepared to pay dues even if/when you cannot use their facilities. And even if you love it now, make sure to give your notice to leave them a minimum of 60-days in advance, or you too can pay them for services NOT rendered.

I love HOTWORX Denton! I first came across HOTWORX Denton in the summer of 2019. I was beginning to grow bored with my same lifting routine until I tried a session here! Not only was I able to lift weight, but also try new unique workouts that strengthened muscle that I had no idea existed! Another thing I love about this studio is that the workouts are short, simple, and have TONS of benefits! Not only have I lost weight, but I also feel much better! Talk about a stress relief! The staff and owners are AWESOME! They always make you feel so welcome upon entering the studio and answer any questions you have! The studio stays clean and the music is always bumping 🕺🏼! Overall the perfect place to achieve your fitness goals!

Beware of signing up with them! Maybe not this location in general but the entire hotworx chain of gyms. They require you to cancel in person even during covid, even if you’re high risk, and they charge you 2 months worth just to cancel, and during the two months you paid for you can’t use the gym. Awful policies! And you’re basically just doing workout videos in a sauna. Joke of a company lol

I started going when they were the only ones open during quarantine. I ended up having surgery and was not released to continue my workouts I was unable to remain a customer but while I was able to work pre surgery this location was always clean! When billing issues arose the owner ensured that all my issues were mostly addressed just make sure you follow up daily! Just make sure you stay on top of your charges and when you cancel that your account isn’t charged.

I went in for an introductory class and OMG, I'm HOCKED! This is definitely a FANTASTIC workout in a sauna. I came home and took a shower and feel so RELAXED!! Seriously 😀

Terrible membership contracts. I physically moved and needed to transfer my membership. I went inside Denton location 2 times to speak to someone regarding this and they could not help me. The second time I got helped but said I had to cancel and could not transfer but speak to the manager. He wasn't there both times so finally one day I got the manager on the phone. I needed to call the location closer to my new address and ask if I could transfer. They said no, called the manager back and he stated he would have to call them because they are just trying to make money off of me. In order to cancel HOTWORX you have to give a 60-day-notice. My account got drafted beginning of January, I requested to cancel since I was forced to and could not transfer membership due to moving, not bc I didn't want the membership, and I had to pay another $110 to do so and I basically gave a 90-day notice and it was cut off immediately. The manager Weston said he would call me back to see if they could just to the sweat all places but I never heard back. I'm curious as to why I didn't have this option stated to me when I drove twice 45minutes to go speak to someone about my move/membership.
HOTWORX needs to figure out something with their membership options. You should not have to pay outrageous amounts just to switch locations. Now if I want to go to the other location I have to pay all of the sign up fees again. COMPLETELY dissatisfied.

I love it - I've only just begun, but I can't think of a place so suited and tailored for me. You have to get used to the heat a bit, but once you do you'll feel unstoppable. I like the quietness if the location and the unique experience. Everyone there helped me get situated, and everyone was very friendly. I don't feel judged or uncomfortable. Best place for my little introverted self.

From the first workout at HotWorx, I was addicted! The staff is amazing, the saunas are always clean and taken care of, and I leave every single time with an amazing sweat. This is the best workout experience ever! The programmed excercises and virtual instructor interface make it possible to get a good workout in whether I have just 15 minutes or choose to commit to an hour. My schedule changes daily, but with the 24 Hour, Virtual Fitness that HOTWORX offers, I can fit a workout in, AND get the bonus of detox from the infrared sauna exposure. This is a Win Win!!!

The concept is easy- start off with fifteen minutes- mix up your routine- add weights. . There's something for everyone! I was looking for something that would give me variety *for my boredom* but see results! Been a member after 2 yrs still love it highly recommend it! It's 24 hour access on your time! Exercise is needed and I love the infrared that helps with detoxification, rejuvenation, healing & repairing as you're getting your beast mode on! I have been working out at Hotworx Denton for almost 5 months and I love it. The workouts are fast, but you are earning the burn whether it's with a 15 min. or 45 min. workout. Hot barrenone and Hot blast are my favorites.

The infared sauna keeps my aging body limber and my skin glowing. The staff is always friendly, and the hours of operation are awesome (24 hour/ 7days). If you haven't checked out Hotworx Denton you should. It's fantastic!!!!
