My husband and I have been going here for months. He has lost 20 lbs (coming twice a day) and I have lost ten. I come once a day and do one hiit session and an iso session AT LEAST. I at LEAST get one ISO session if I only have time for one thing. We also use their app and log our food in DIET Trax so we make sure we end our day in a deficit.

We also so weight session in between HOT sessions.

This is a clean gym. Very private, because you are basically renting your own room to work out with a virtual instructor.

I was a personal trainer for years, so after falling off the wagon myself the past...*ehem* two years *bleh*... Hot Worx is getting me back without the crazy dieting and over-exhausting cardio sessions I did when I competed.

I am also very competitive so when the studio has challenges...I HAVE to complete them. It is motivating.

I've been a member for a little over a year and love it. I don't understand the reviews complaining about the staff; the evening staff is great! They are very friendly and helpful, and they keep the studio clean!! My only grievance is with members who don't cancel a session if they can't attend, as I won't book the class if someone is already in there, knowing that some people prefer to be alone. I don't mind sharing the sauna with others as most people I have met have been friendly and respectful of the space.

I don’t know what happened to the old girls or where they went but please bring them back!!! This new staff is NOT it. I’ve been going to Hotworx for almost a year now, I usually go in the evening but on Monday I decided to go early mornings after my Pilates class at club Pilates. I did an hour of hot cycle and then my friend came in right whenever I was leaving, usually me and him workout together so he asked me to join him and I said I had left my mat and towel in the car and didn’t wanna get it. He insisted I use his towel and he can just use the mat, I said okay because it was just stretching and I could’ve used it too after those long workouts. We get done stretching and as I’m coming out the sauna, there is this new older lady that was working the front desk she walked past us and then walked back to check inside the sauna that we were coming out of (I thought weird but whatever). I sat on the bench to check my phone and she came up to me and was like “did you have a mat and towel” and I was like “no I was using his” and she was like “well you need both mat and towels before going to the sauna it’s corporate rule” I was like “okay because I genuinely didn’t think nothing of it I just thought she was reminding me so I was like “okay” proceeds to try to check my phone again when she goes “did you get a mat and towel when you signed up? All our members have a mat and towel” I was like “yeah it’s in the car” and then she laughs and was like “it’s in the car…..you’re not a member are you?” I was like no I am…. And then she was like “well did you book” I was like “no I didn’t” mind you you can’t book the session right whenever it’s the start time you gotta do at least like 2 minutes earlier and I was not planning on going into that sauna so I didn’t book ahead of time but no she stil proceeds to interrogate me as if I’ve been leeching off my friends membership the whole time. I still think “whatever she’s probably just one of those people that takes their job seriously” so I leave and then my friend texts me about how she got onto him for bringing in guests without checking them in when I told her myself countless times that I was a member but she still went behind my back to tell my friend to not bring guests during unstaffed hours and at this point I feel like she’s a racist because she had no reason to not believe that I wasn’t a member, I was literally in a different sauna before my friend came in like he came after me and I even gave her my first and last name. If she would’ve actually did her job and looked, she would’ve seen that I had booked a whole hour session of hot cycle. I’m not paying $60 a month to be assumed as a guest because I didn’t bring in my mat and towel with me lmao I don’t know who these new staff are or what yall did to the old ones but yall gots to figure something out. Hotworx not the same anymore, she was more worried about me not bringing in my mat and towel and less about the sweat stain that was left on the floor and was making the whole place look unsanitary. This whole place has just gone to sheet.

Respond: I was never came off as non cooperative when she was explaining the rules to me if you go back and read my story. I simply shook my head and said okay cause hey she’s just doing her job, what set me off was her still going to my friend after I myself told her countless times that I was a member.

I signed up for HOTWORX in 2021 and the staff was amazing. They knew what they were talking about and could answer questions. In 2023, I was moving out of the area and when it came to cancelling my membership the new staff was beyond unhelpful. Paid a fee to cancel my membership and they continued to charge me for 5 months. I would call over and over and they claim that the issue was on the end of the untrained person who cancelled my membership and would get it fixed. It never did so I would call every time I was charged. Finally after 5 months, I spoke to the owner who told me I was trying to scam the company. She was rude and unprofessional. When she finally realized the situation she fixed the issue. I loved the workouts and the facility. Just not the people, go to a different location if anything.

Read the fine print, even if they tell you “their version” of what it could say. Read it for yourself. After signing up, do not get into a wreck, illness that might prevent you from leaving your home, and/or any terminally ill situations, etc. if you can’t physically walk into their building to cancel then you must physically go to the post office and mail a letter. Unlike most newly established businesses, HotWorx is still on a learning curve when it comes to technology. You can sign up, enroll, unlock the door, track your time while using technology. They also have computers, that debit your account for purchases and membership dues. But when it comes to cancelling your membership, technology is out of the question.
Want to cancel, you’ll need to walk your crippled self in there, pray you don’t have a seizure at the counter, but do expect the young girl up front to give you a hard time, attitude and 100% unprofessional . After you leave, do not think your membership is cancelled, bc they’ll call your friends or if someone referred you to them, they’ll call them & have conversations about you, your acct and reason why you cancelled, all happening in the front of the business. I’m so disappointed at the level of unprofessionalism , yelling at me several times and the nasty attitude and dismissiveness . I’m grossed out at the way we were treated. Like I told the owner and her lil kid at the front desk, we don’t have to agree to handle this like adults. Laughing and making fun of me was inappropriate on all levels . You ladies shop and do business outside of HotWorx, and I hope you’re never treated like the way you treated us. And it’s really nasty to talk about our account to a person we hardly know, especially as it pertains to our account, financially, and medically . In what world wd you want you business like this gossiped about in an open area, or ever . Shouldn’t have happened. You owe us an apology!! You and the kid who thinks this is so comical.
Also, dbl the epa requirements on cleaning chemicals and ratios. Huge mistake on an accident over /under pour !!!! My other girlfriends who workout there said they’ll let you know about the items they tested.. you’ll want to know that for sure.

Hopefully we can move past this ugliness and walk away feeling good about ourselves. You have my number

I absolutely love Hotworx. I debated signing up for a few months and definitely wish I had sooner. I’ve tried going to gyms and working out at home, it’s just not the same. Getting a personal sauna with guided fitness instructions, using infrared technology has been the best experience I have ever had working out. I’ve only been going for 2 weeks 2-3 days a week and I’ve already seen results that I couldn’t accomplish in the gym without a personal trainer (each sauna has one on a beautiful tv screen). You can use their trainers or use your own workout either way your gonna feel great as you sweat away the stress and feel the toxins leaving your body. With so many different workout options and no annual fees, it’s got me hooked. I actually want to go work out and that’s something I’ve never been able to say. Thank you Hotworx for creating an environment that makes me want to come back and really take my wellness journey seriously. Great place to workout at. My only complaint is the weight area needs a treadmill and weight rack so you can also lift and get the full gym experience. That area needs a little extra work and then it would be worth the money. I hope to see that change soon or I probably will have to end my membership due to limited resources. Do not get a membership here! I give it one star based on the cancellation policy. It’s 60day or 99.00 immediate cancellation. Mind you they do not have ppl who are in the studio to cancel. I have come in Jan and Dec. anyways if you go definitely know their cancellation policy is trash! Most places do a charge for the next month and be done but not here. Nope nope nope I don’t like it! Won’t be back. Read the fine print! They make it to where you can’t cancel without coming in but they have limited staff actually in to do the cancellation. Also the employee who signed me up said it would be a next charge for the next month then done if canceled however that proved to be a lie, they also said it’s only 99.00 if you cancel within the first 3 months so be clear staff will do anything to get that sale. Read that contract as a matter of fact read it and then remember they will mislead you on policies.

I truly wanted to love the alliance hotworx because of the great program that was being run, but your team and whoever signed me up, mislead me and made me want to cancel. Since the time I signed up I have been mislead and lied to about certain policies/prices here at Hotworx. I understand everything is outlined in the contract but when I sign up, I would expect for your representatives to represent your brand and know the correct information they are conveying to me about Hotworx. They are my source of truth in that moment and someone I am trusting to make my experience at hotworx great. I was constantly frustrated when I would hear information different from what your representatives had told me in the beginning. I had to talk to other Hotworx locations to actually find out about certain things. I also want to say one of your team members is rude and when I had recently called to express my frustration for the third time the lady would not let me finish my sentences and constantly kept downplaying my concerns. I have written a cancellation letter that will be arriving soon with more details.
