I’ve been a member at Hotworx West Frisco for 2 years and it’s been life-changing. With a consistent 5-day-a-week routine and some calorie adjustments, I’m down 40 pounds, and I feel amazing. My skin looks incredible, and thanks to the sauna workouts, I never feel sore (except on my FX Zone days lol).

The staff here is always kind, helpful, and supportive. The pricing is unbeatable (less than half of what I paid at the gym I went to previously), and I love the extra motivation of redeeming my achievements for prizes each quarter.

I've been coming here regularly for the last 3 years and am in the best shape of my life. The general manager, Ryan, is fantastic. Sales staff like Nora are great. I’ve been to Hotworx all over DFW and a few through the KC,MO area. This one is special because of the staff! They’re super considerate and friendly - but respect the workout. They’re right there if you need them. It somehow always smells nice and plenty of towels and sanitizing stations for convenience.

I love this place! I’ve been working out at multiple locations for over a year and it has completely transformed my body and mind. At this point, I feel bad if I *don’t* have my workouts. I made my first magazine cover as a model with this place being my fitness regimen. You can book a sauna for yourself for consecutive sessions, and people will typically not book with you, leaving the sauna to yourself. I also love that they keep fresh towels for those of us doing Endurance workouts. You can also bring friends anytime you like. Cut the crap with long workouts and weights and try this place! My only suggestion would be adding a GPS feature to the workout tracker that keeps people from cheating on the leader boards. I’m there very early in the morning and will notice that people booked for consecutive saunas that remain empty for an hour So they can collect false points. Some of the members suck, but everything else is great!

These places are a great concept, but I got a countrywide membership, and each location is abandoned over time. It starts out clean, with towels and service if needed. The locations I started at are now dirty with no sauna towels. I’m no longer getting amenities I paid for. Just chase new locations I guess

Honestly, I wish I could give this establishment 10 stars. The team (Heather, Ryan, Casey and Arrell) are kind, supportive, knowledgeable, encouraging and all around wonderful people! The facility is super clean and if theres ever an equipment issue, they are quick to address it. I have hesitated for the last year to jump into any kind of workout and Hotworx makes it super convenient, quick and get more workout in less time. Each session gives you modifications and the instructors always encourage you to do what you can do, which has been super helpful as I work on this 3x postpartum body. Finding Hotworx has given me more confidence, energy, challenge and a community full of support (plus I love the challenges and motivators they provide)! If you're even slightly interested- try it out! It's truly a health and fitness game changer (just ask my 5 other friends who have joined after me because it WORKS).

Only If you want to get scammed on your membership go there , the management is horrible at this location. Their GM name is Parker Neilon he is the rudest manager I have ever dealt with, They don’t own up to their mistake and want to scam you into a membership that will be even more difficult to get out of, I have been wanting to cancel my membership for a month now and they keep beating around the bush, their customer services is horrible. Make sure the paper they give you to sign in person matches the electronic one because they will not own up to their mistake and will con you into financial loss! Be aware of what you sign with them as they don’t honor their contracts! They don’t even deserve one star! They had me sign a contract in person which i read thoroughly that had no cancellation fees and had me sign the electronic pad with a different contract that has cancelation fee which I couldn’t read given they don’t show it to you and not only they try to fix their mistake they don’t even own up to it which I clearly have both copies that shows the discrepancy which shows their professional dishonesty!

I signed up at Hotworx back in February, hesitant about joining since I had a gym available at my apartment complex. Ryan gave the tour and explained in detail the infrared sauna, the Isometric and HIIT workouts, and how Hotworx program works. He was very detailed oriented and passionate when explaining. I decided to give it a try and have been hooked ever since. Walking into Hotworx at the West Frisco location you are automatically greeted with a friendly smile. It is by far my favorite location.

The staff at Hotworx West Frisco are awesome! When I go it’s usually 2 guys working and they are always super friendly and welcoming. They are always cleaning and vacuuming almost every afternoon that I go. They are super knowledgeable and even helped me with some account changes and got me set up on an app to open the front door. This Hotworx location has awesome energy- and it starts with the staff! Parker, Casey and Ryan make everyone feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. I love this location. They have the BLAST class that some other locations do not carry because of limited saunas. Casey is usually there and always helpful and friendly. Clean rooms and facilities. They have a shower as well. The location that I signed up at had fewer saunas and no shower. Having the sweat everywhere option is a plus and worth it. I was signed up at the Preston/Lebanon location not knowing that most studios have showers AND classes that other locations had. I had no idea about the BLAST class until I tried out the West Frisco location and so glad I did. Making this my home gym.

I have to say I love this studio. I was a member for a little over a year and stopped using the membership because I got really into working out at home. Cancelling was actually easy and Parker was so kind and took care of it right when I went in to cancel. That was one of the major reasons I decided to rejoin. I am shocked at the negative reviews bashing them for their cancellation policy.
They go over it with you in person. If that sounds ridiculous then don’t join, that simple.
Anyway I am back and happier than ever because I missed my hot workouts so much. The studio is just as clean as I remember and signing back up again was a breeze.

Joined HotWorx Frisco as a member 3 weeks ago, and I love it here! Staff are very friendly, and Ryan who assisted in signing me up for my membership was super helpful too. I was a member at HotWorx perviously at a different location, and I have also worked in fitness sales industry for the past 4 years (not at HotWorx) and this gym combines good fitness culture, clean facilities, and amazing workouts. The only negative reviews are about cancelation, which is a norm for every gym to have, and are easy to follow if given provided notice. If you’re looking to transform your fitness routine or try a new fitness routine I would highly recommend!

I love going to HOTWORX. I am an early morning person (4-5am workout) so I love that there is almost never anyone in the gym when I am. I have never taken a class with anyone else (except a guest I brought). I love the variety and availability of the gym.
The only downfall I have is that sometimes the videos are not working, so during non staffed hours, there is no way to get it fixed. Otherwise, I love it here!

I have been a member at this location since Nov ‘21 and was paying for 4 memberships for my family. Prior to my experience trying to cancel I would have given a glowing 5 star review, most people who knew me heard about my love of Hotworx. I went to cancel our membership and was a little off put with the 60day pay up front for the two months or $99x4 to cancel ASAP. I understand gyms charge cancellation fees, it’s typically 30 days. This just seemed like one final grab at getting what they can. When you enroll you are also committed to paying for 90 days. There is also a steep price for mats and towels that are required too. As an outsider looking in now, I would be very wary of joining here. I’m sure the cancellation policy is part of the franchise. It really should be looked into, 30 days is much more reasonable and expected from a consumers point of view. Also, the contract which I was referred to states the 60 days, however, it also says you have to come in person and sign a piece of paper. I was told there is no paper to be signed. So, if they insist on referring to the contract when discussing cancellation they should also be held to their end of the contract. Having a name filled out on a clipboard doesn’t give me anything to verify this is done. The young lady helping was nice and reassured me it would happen. It would have been nice to have something more tangible happen for proof of cancel. This experience leaves a poor taste in my mouth. Proceed with caution. If they revised this cancellation policy I would wholeheartedly encourage people to join here. I would expect something different for members that have had well over a year of membership dues paid on time.

The concept is great but when you have to cancel there is zero grace or service. I learned a great lesson to never do business with companies who have horrible cancellation policies. If you need to have a 60 day notice you’re basically building into your business plan that you are okay taking money from people without providing a service, especially when they pay for your service for months without using it. And no, not everyone is lazy with their life, some people have other circumstances. I don’t know of any other gyms or services that still operate this way in 2023. Thank you for the lesson.

The people leaving negative comments are the people that sign up for gym and then never go. Now they are mad because they have to pay a small fee to cancel. Their attitude clearly reflects the problem which is most likely consistent with their workout routine or lack thereof.

I've been coming here for over a year....The staff and the facilities are top notch. It's an amazing place to transform your mind and body. Like anything else, you get out of it what you put into it.

I have been a Hotworx customer for several years and I started out in Carrollton but when I moved to Frisco, I moved to this location and I LOVE it. The people are super friendly, great customer service and the gym is set up just a tad nicer than other Hotworx locations - I travel a lot for work and I visit them in any city I can (I have the all-gym pass thingy). Working out in infrared saunas have helped me to not only lose 30 lbs but has helped my joint pain. The staff has been SO encouraging to me on my journey. I love the contests and have had 4 friends join this location, as well! Thanks West Frisco for all the positive motivation!! :~)

Worst customer service ever! Parker was very rude. I called at beginning of year to let them know I moved and needed to cancel. They said they would
Leave it for their manger to do. They kept withdrawing this, I sent in again in March that this was suppose to be canceled. They said they would let parker know to cancel it that he was only one that could. I called today and talked to Parker and told him everything. Said would have to pay $100 for immediate cancellation since no record of 60 day notice wasn’t enter. I used this membership once in 8 months because I moved hours away. Parker didn’t give me no other options but to pay the $100 to cancel it or he would send me to collections. I have spent over $600 and only went once .. I still have the towel and Mat in plastic. Just thought they would get this credit back & canceled out to gain my business back. Rudest manger award goes to Parker. Very poor customer service. Especially when I used the gym 1 time. Not like I’m trying to get over on the place. They are all about the money and don’t care to keep a customer to return. Then as soon as I get off phone my card was attempted for $127 (not $100) good thing I have my card locked.

While the concept is great and the studio is extremely clean and cared for, the business itself is less than acceptable. It's obvious they care nothing about people and more about making money. As a client for about 6 months, I have not utilized the facility more than 6 times. I had some medical issues that kept me away from working out, so that was the primary reason for desiring a cancellation. The other reasons are: you get nothing for the money except access. if you want a mat to use in the yoga or pilates studios, you must buy it. If you want ANYTHING at all while you are there, you must BUY it. Yes, the 24 hour access is great, however the hours in which there is actually a staff person on site to help you with the purchases you need to make in order to workout are very limited and didn't fit with my work schedule at all. 4 months ago I started reaching out- I first sent a text message to the same person I had been messaging about joining in the first place. No response. I then sent emails to every address I could find. No response. I called during work hours and left messages since a human couldn't answer. No response. I sent USPS mail to cancel my membership. No response. I just continued to get charged and could not find a way out of the monthly fee for zero usage. When I finally got a person on the phone, she was unable to help me and, instead, had a manager call me who informed me that my only way out was to spend $100 or gift my membership to someone else. WHAT?? I must pay to NOT use the facility after I had paid for 6 months and only used it a maximum of 6 times? I feel they've already made plenty of money off of me since I didn't use what I'd paid for. Cancelling my membership doesn't cost them a dime and this is just unacceptable, poor business! I've never had any other business require me to PAY to not use their facility and now I am finding myself feeling so regretful that I ever signed up for Hotworx at all. I did love the concept and wish I could have gotten use out of it, however my knee replacement surgery gone wrong prevents me from being able to do most of the exercises that I tried. SO, now I just paid $100 to NOT be a member of Hotworx!
