This location is my home gym and I must say I'm obsessed. Olivia is such a wonderful owner! So personable and friendly. She really created a safe, clean, welcoming space to work out in. Unfortunately, my experience at Hotworx Grand Prairie was the complete opposite from my experience at the Arlington location . From the second I walked in, I felt an overwhelming sense of neglect and disrepair. The machines were torn up, the displays that should be motivating weren’t even functional and shattered , the machine handlebars were in such poor condition that it was almost unsafe to use them.

To make matters worse, there was no greeting upon entrance , no warmth, no sense of community—just an unwelcoming, uninspiring environment. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority, and for a gym that should be a sanctuary for health and self-improvement, this was beyond disheartening.

Unfortunately, due to location, this will have to be my home gym, which makes the experience all the more frustrating. Working out is already a vulnerable experience for me, and I had high hopes that this space would offer the same uplifting environment as Arlington. I sincerely hope Grand Prairie steps up its standards because every member deserves to feel comfortable, motivated, and valued in their gym—not let down.

Had a membership here for about 2 years. The workouts are repetitive, hardly ever switching up the trainers who lead the workouts. I would practically quote the phrases the trainers would say throughout each of the workouts because it’s the same thing every time. Gets old! Staff during the day is yelling during normal conversation? Distracting during workouts. And going at night feels dangerous. Obviously there isn’t staff throughout the night, although they’re open 24/7.. Oftentimes random men would try and join the sauna with me mid-workout and would mock the trainers voices, trying to get a laugh out of me when i’m just trying to participate in the workout. Felt really uncomfortable and unsafe at times.

I love Hotworx! This is where I come to find peace and let everything go. It's so convenient being 5 minutes from my house, there are a variety of challenging classes to take with modifications shown for beginners, or for someone like me with a previous broken ankle injury. It's open 24 hours so I can go whenever I can find the time, and as a busy mother of 4 and full time student the time flexibility is GOLD! I feel so much better after each session, and after 3 short weeks I feel stronger, I can do exercises I couldn't do when I initially started, and overall I just FEEL better!

The place itself (when I was ABLE to go) was decent, some things were always broken but being fixed promptly. My main complaint is I have been trying to cancel my membership since Oct 2023, tried email/person/calling, and never received a response. I'm still being charged and half the time can't get my bank to flag it because YOU GUYS claim I NEVER TRIED TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP. Despite going in person multiple times, leaving voicemails, and emailing - no resolution. I was perfectly ok to take a loss of a month because of my work relocation being so sudden, but this is absolutely absurd.

But when you touch their toes they want to do something about it. Whitney is awful. Rude. Ugly on the inside. The manager is looking for work. They don’t even want to work there. Whoever owns this place really needs to pay attention to overall cleanliness. There was trash everywhere, even inside the sauna rooms. There were no available cleaning wipes to wipe anything down or sanitizing spray bottles. Made this location feel low quality and I have always had amazing experiences at other Hotworx locations. Bulbs were even broken inside the sauna rooms and hanging down, as well as broken pedals.

Today was my first day at hotworx. My experience was amazing! Jared was the person who help my friend and I. I do like the place. Very nice and i enjoyed working out there. I am giving one star because i have been trying to cancel my account since December for personal reason. Nothing to do with this place. I was told to send an email and was aware of the 60 days notice. Well here it is August and i just got billed again. I have called every month since February and was told every month we are sorry it will be cancelled. Last month i was told my email had been lost. Funny when i call every month they know exactly what is going on. At this point I feel robbed.

Wanted to share about the great experiences I had at the Grand Prairie location on my first and second visit. Jared, one of the staff members, had such great energy and was very helpful when my guest and I arrived. He was very knowledgeable about the facility and the program which helped me make a decision to get the HOTWORX membership. Whitney, the manager, was also very nice and helpful explaining how to work the equipment at the location.

The only suggestion that I have for the facility is to have a survey that your guests could complete after their visits during business hours rating their experience.

Kudos to your staff team at the Grand Prairie location! :)

I took intentional time out of my Thursday to come get a membership during staffed hours. I got there right before 5 PM during staffed hours (which say Monday - Thursday 11 to 8 pm) and no one was there. I called the number on the door and it just went to voicemail. I waited several minutes and called again and it still went to voicemail. I was there for a tour about a month ago but at that (scheduled) time it was very crowded and busy and chaotic and there were multiple people there for a tour and as an introvert it just was not what I was expecting so I didn’t sign up that day because there were so many people waiting for the one staffed person. Now I’m disappointed that no one was there today when I went to sign up during what I was hoping was a less busy time. Guess I won’t be getting a membership with twice in a row having an “off” impression.

OMGeee!! I’m sooo addicted to this place! The staff is AMAZING! But how these workouts are set up? A 15 min hotcycle class is like the equivalent of a 60 min workout! You get this energy burst throughout the day, and then you sleep like a baby at night! My family noticed my results in 2 weeks. I was so surprised! The hot yoga & hot pilates are just what I needed because my back was killing me😩 I noticed a difference in the aching and how limber I had become in just a few sessions. I just did my 1st workouts at this location and it's absolutely the best way to burn calories utilizing Infrared heat, tone muscles,rehabilitate after intensive activity at OTF, and to lose water weight. Extremely disappointed in the customer service of this establishment. I recently signed up for the sweat everywhere membership at this location. But when I went to the Arlington location this morning my code would not work to enter! I was extremely frustrated since I signed up for two classes and was ready to work out so early in the AM only to be left out feeling dumb. I kept trying for like 15-20 min with my number to get in. When I called GP HOTWORX and explained the situation, the front desk informed me that I was NOT signed up for sweat everywhere. That was her response, that was it. She did not care at all! I asked how does this happen? (My contract is for sweat everywhere) She simply said, whoever signed me up did not press the button hard enough. What does that even mean?!?! (I still don’t know what she meant) There was NO apology, for there mistake. That was the disappointing part. But the day I signed up, they were in a hurry. So even though I signed up for sweat everywhere I wasn’t and my sister who referred me did not get my name added to the ambassador program I later found out too! I just wished they actually cared because they made me feel like I’m just a number at this establishment. They are quick to take our money every month that’s for sure by getting two forms of payments. They make no mistakes there.

DONT SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER WHITNEY I've had a membership with Hotworx for many months and have only used it less than a handful of times and most times i didn't even show up to my scheduled time. I'm a single full time parent working 60-80 hour weeks with my infant son on my hip. zero help. I called within 30 days of my contract asking when is the earliest I can cancel. They told me the date. New mom brain I forgot to cancel. I called in and said "hey sorry I forgot to cancel but ill take the charge for this month and I will try my best to make it in to cancel" the manager then said oh no problem ill notate your account. Unfortunately I forgot again its very hard for me to find the time to make it in. I tried calling in asking for a refund for this month and that I would force myself to come in to sign sick baby or not. The manager Whitney continued to speak over me raising her voice over mine so I raised mine back saying "don't speak over me". she then laughed at me and said " ohhh haha you're frustrated!" very sarcastically. I went ahead and hung up I had a crying baby in the background and just didn't want to be treated like that. I went ahead and went to another location that is way closer to me and explained what happened and the manager there told me he was willing to help me out but he couldn't since it wasn't the location I signed up at even though I can work out at any location. They're privately owned franchise? The manager apologized and said he wished there was something he could do since I haven't even used the gym membership since the first 30 days of the contract but he went ahead and gave me Stephen Smith's email. Hopefully my situation will be resolved soon. I hope this location gets better management that's understanding like their other locations.

This HOTWORX location is amazing is a whole VIBE! I originally was using a different location closer to work and then found this one here in Grand Prairie! It’s well maintained, clean the staff is super sweet.

We started out going to just see if we would make this a permanent spot to replace our gym membership. It was ok mostly the staff was super nice Oct-2020
So stated school and life got busy so I went to location and canceled membership.
They charged me 21.65 plus 52.00 for one month then charged me thereafter. Yes April 2021 I'm still getting charged for a membership I cancelled. So I call spoke with the manager. She interruptedme while talking, and so snappy, used girl to regrence me. Lol. Whitney was her name. After digging a bit more found out my husband had a family add on with me so they were charging for him. Surprised thought if it was a family membership they know to cancel the members in "family " so we got, got! 😒 Upsets me knowing we were charged 21.65 for 5 month's and we didn't even know we had access. With the pandemic going on and people trying to stay in buisness I don't think this is a positive approach. Just bothersome. Still waiting to hear back from someone on a resolution. I'll update once we know more.

My roommate canceled her membership in August 2020 and we are still being charged. We have called and been told we can only cancel in person (during a pandemic), but she already went in and canceled in August but that its not in the system.

I absolutely ❤️ this place. I typically come 4 times a week. I prefer the evening sessions because its not crowded, I can have a studio to myself, I don't have to share the equipment plus when I am done working out I be too tired to want to eat..... so that helps with my new diet plan. I feel great, I am seeing a difference and that makes me happy!

I started my HOTWORX journey in late December and I couldn’t be more pleased! At first I wasn’t sweating and I wasn’t sure why; after about a week I began to really sweat it out! I sleep like a baby EVERY time I come work out which is a big plus for me. I’ve lost inches off my stomach in just a short period of time! The recovery time is NOTHING like I’m used to because I can push myself really hard and not feel like I’ve been hit by a truck the following days. I started coming 5 weeks ago and I'm still at it. So what's the difference? The heat helps to keep your muscles from feeling so sore, so even though I could definitely tell I worked out the day before, I can still move and I'm not discouraged from continuing my workout due to soreness. Also, there is a variety of different sessions to choose from 24/7 so I don't get bored and time isn't an excuse. I have even come in after doing g other activities that do cause soreness in an effort to work it out and lessen my pain. It has helped so much. I feel great and my blood pressure is down.

What an amazing concept!!! This place really makes you earn it and it’s worth it! I used to think the sauna was enough, but getting a great HIIT workout in a sauna like environment really pushes you to your limits. Great for detox and fat burning. They have multiple areas and activities ranging from cycle to weight lifting. And if all these things weren’t enough, it’s 24 hours!!! AMAZING

Went for the first time tonight and did the Hot Blast and Hot Bands and could barely finish. Been working out for many years and have tried so many different types of exercises.
