I did not attend any classes since July thinking it was canceled. I didn’t sign anything so it was my fault thinking I could just ask to be cancelled. Little did I know that they COULD HOWEVER make it $9 a month for people not attending but was not told when trying to cancel. The link to cancel or to pay online was also broken. Beside that the men were also weird with being weird with the rooms and loudly playing videos or music in the gym area. The whole point was to find a safer alternative gym as a girl but they don’t kick people out and are money hungry instead.

• $60 plus tax (Basic Membership) for a small gym, offerers showers, four sona workout pods, small self help workout area outside pods, HOTWORX brand vender/supply dispenser.
•Claustrophobic with EVERYTHING
• $5 rental equipment per item or buy their yoga mat and towel ($100 for one mat & towel) due to claims ONLY their materials are safer for hot environments because other equipment can release toxins.
• Signed a contract after given two free workout test days, understand the commitment, communicating on how grateful we were for the deal and the owners understanding on why we picked HIS LOCATION SPECIFICALLY because it benefits my problematic areas in advancing my personal health but was given NO HELP when asked.
•Contacted the owner notifying him I wasn't even able to attend ONE workout lately due to my injurys, these injuries delayed us financially(We have no money I can't work due to my injurys atm. We sadly thought because we had such a great conversation, it seemed he understood personally and financially why we picked this place.
• Response from owner said he would do what he can to help out, see what can be done and this is what I get in return

Explained I was an ACTIVE caregiver who was looking for a great way to stretch, release some sweat in a safe environment. Seemed human enough but apparently their just like all the rest. Their suck you dry regardless of your situation.

At least planted fitness stops payments for a while, HOTWORX robs you regardless.

WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY MEMBERSHIP.

And DO NOT bother apologizing because clearing y'all DO NOT care about the customer well-being but the funding that can be taken!

I absolutely love this gym! I started earlier this year in May with my weight loss journey and I couldn’t be more impressed with a gym that is inclusive as much as this one. Being able to use this gym 24 hours a day is such a great thing to have when everyone has different schedules such as myself. The staff is so wonderful, kind, and helpful with anything regarding the gym and diet/supplement tips. Gym price is worth it if you utilize all benefits from yoga classes, spin classes and weight lifting.

I recently was laid off from my job and called the gym to freeze my account, and the owner John was so understanding about my situation and accommodating to my needs. No hassle about having to pay any fees and even gave me a month free of charge before freezing my account for $9 a month. 10/10 gym!!!

I love hotworx! I have never been more consistent with going to the gym until I discovered hotworx, it has motivated me to show up for myself each and everyday. One of my favorite things I love about this place is how easy you can book a dedicated session at a time that works best for you, and not only that the staff is so kind, and warm hearted. Each and every-time I go in I’m always welcome by staff such as khila and other’s. They always make me feel welcomed by creating small talk about different hotworx sessions! Today I met and spoke with John he was the most nicest staff member and i love how very considerate the company is when it comes to their guest! I’m super glad that I finally found a gym that is introvert friendly :)!

HOTWORX is a Company that's money based with little to no benefit for the price required to join.

Buy your own equipment for 100$ OR constantly rent from their branded machine $10 a pop.

Staffing needs improvement of customer service, when trying to set up an account, the front desk worker was MORE INTERESTED in the person with me than ME as the paying customer.

I absolutely love working out at this HOTWORX! One of the things I appreciate most is the privacy. It’s such a comfortable space where I can focus on my workout without feeling crowded or self-conscious. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to answer questions or offer encouragement. The entire studio is spotlessly clean, and I feel completely safe every time I’m there. If love at first workout was a thing. It would be HotWorx. For yearsss, I have searched for a gym where you can workout ALONE and not feel judged by all of the “ripped” gym girlies& boyies ☺️ lol serious note! Hot Worx is a place for all, the have private saunas to work out at YOUR OWN PACE. You never have to feel judged, embarrassed or have that feeling of being watched by someone. I have experienced bad gyms in the past where the staff doesn't really care about you, and this place is not like them at all.
The customer support here is absolutely fantastic!
The owner and the staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive, which encourages you and has made a significant difference in my motivation.
The studio itself is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for your workout.
They even offer a complimentary water bottle filling station with cold, filtered water!
If you need 2XL shirts or other items that are not on display, they are li kept in the back. So be sure to swing by during staffed hours and ask for what you need.
Hotworx offers a great variety of workouts. They have everything from high-intensity training to relaxing stretch workouts.
Their workouts are flexible for people of all sizes, all ages, and all fitness levels.
The heated environment enhances the effectiveness of your workout.
I personally don't like being watched while I work out, and something interesting about Hotworx is that you are exercising in an enclosed sauna rather than a large open space.
To my surprise, having only been in traditional saunas, I find infrared saunas to be quite comfortable. It's nothing like a traditional sauna at all.
You can control the temperature and make it comfortable for you + it's a dry, relaxing warmth vs a traditional sauna.
Infrared saunas make me feel outstanding, and to my surprise, when I have completed my workouts, I don't hurt, I don't ache, and I don't feel any pain. These saunas are excellent for relieving joint pain and soothing sore muscles.

You can achieve your ideal workout heart rate with much less effort in these saunas compared to a regular gym environment.
It is downright amazing to me how, for whatever reason, these infrared saunas are beneficial for both my physical and my mental health.
Whenever I get back home from Hotworx, I always feel amazing! It's such a nice change from how I felt after going to a regular gym.

I can't recommend this Hotworx studio enough. If you're looking for a fitness studio that truly cares about its members and offers a unique and effective workout experience, this is the place for you!
Some members of this studio come to this location because of the owner and staff rather than going to the location closest to them because of the owner & staff here.

I’ve been signed up since I this location opened! Unfortunately due to a really unfortunate car accident I’ve been unable to utilize my membership. This team has really gone above and beyond to ensure my account stays frozen and they’re proactive about making sure I’m not overcharged for something I’m not using. They could easily just let my account go back into charging me the full amount and get more money out of me, but the owner John clearly has the right morals and ensures his team follows suit. HOTWORX has really gained a loyalty from me by their customer support!

I love that I can find classes at any time. There's a good variety, and they don't take long. Each month they have a challenge card to fill out to be entered in a giveaway, which is like a fun side quest. It took me a little while to get used to the heat, but the virtual instructors have modifications and always encourage us to go at our own best pace.

I love the variety of the HIIT and Isometric workouts offered in the 8 separate saunas. Combined with the heat, both thermal and infrared, these workouts always leave me feeling great! Also, all the staff at the Clear Lake location are incredible!! Always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, responsive and constantly coming up with creative ways to make workouts even more fun. The whole studio - saunas, restrooms, showers, free-weight area - are always kept impeccably clean and sanitized. Don't just take my word for it though, come check it out for yourself! I’ve been a member of HOTWORX for a couple years now. I was previously in Friendswood, but a location opened close to home here in Clearlake, so I transferred. What a difference a day makes! From day one, Jhon Has shown complete professionalism, unmatched knowledge, And extreme pride in his facility. This location is always spotless. His staff are always warm and welcoming.
