Couldn't pay my membership due to job and home loss. Even after explaining my circumstances, I was chastised by the manager on the phone and asked to pay $100 cancellation fee. I had to relocate out of state due to my housing situation. Did you not just hear I lost my job and I'm homeless? Do you not see the state of the economy? Do you really think a gym membership fee is more important than me being able to eat? Read the room!

I can't express how happy I am that I found this Hotworx! The workouts in the private saunas are so awesome. I feel like I have a my own personal trainer with the instructor guiding me through the workouts. The studio is spotless. The workouts are quick and very effective. The part I love the most about this Hotworx is the staff and owners. Mikayla, Bruce, Piper, Cole, Ruby, Ashley and Sergio are always smiling and are always encouraging me to hit my goals. It really is like a family. I highly recommend.

The new East River development is an impressive project and myself living in the East end community, hotworx is a great new concept for body detoxification and the infrared sauna with the workouts helps me with muscle aches and helps me sleep better. Over all highly recommend this location always clean and staff is friendly and very helpful.

I recently visited the Hotworx Gym at East River in Houston, and I can confidently say it’s one of my top favorite locations among the many Hotworx studios I’ve attended across the city! From the moment I walked in, Bruno greeted me with such warmth and enthusiasm, making me feel right at home.
The equipment is brand-new, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, which made my workout experience incredibly enjoyable. The bathrooms are an absolute 10/10—sparkling clean, modern, and stocked with all the essentials, which is a huge plus after a sweaty session.
Compared to other Hotworx locations in Houston, East River stands out for its exceptional cleanliness, state-of-the-art equipment, and, most importantly, the friendly and supportive staff. It’s clear they take pride in creating a welcoming and motivating environment. If you’re looking for a fantastic workout experience, I highly recommend Hotworx East River—it’s a gem!

This is the best place I have gone to for workouts. I've been going for 2 months, and I am in the best shape of my life, which I was not expecting. The staff is great and super friendly. And as someone who is an introvert and with social anxiety, this is the most comfortable I have felt while working out. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience last week when I went in for the On Boarding. I scheduled my first session that same day to give it a try and I absolutely LOVE IT. I’m a Sweat Everywhere member, so I’ve been to multiple locations, but this one is by far the best. It’s always super clean, the location is super convenient, and the atmosphere is just awesome.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the owners, Ashley and Sergio, are incredible. They’re both so kind, personable, and hardworking—you can tell they truly care about their members and take pride in making this place special.

If you’re looking for a great workout in a clean, positive environment with amazing people, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

They opened Wednesday called a bunch of people I knew not to mention walked by a few weeks ago with my neighbor and spoke with Ashley the owner about how excited I was for them to open. She was like ohh what are y’all’s names blah blah blah and I didn’t have to say who u was because she instantly called me Johnny. Anyways called to cancel just kept getting excuse after excuse we are so busy we opened Wednesday we are going to call you in today or tomorrow. If you sign up I suggest signing up else where and just use them for their location.
