I was a member of Hotworx in Georgia then I moved to Texas and I joined Hotworx in Houston (Energy Corridor)
I was impressed and happy to see that the place is consistent with the one in Georgia. There's absolutely no issues at all. The place is always spotless the staff is always very friendly and accommodating both in Georgia and here. I absolutely have nothing bad to say about this place other than it is The Perfect Workout the atmosphere the amenities and the staff. It was a pleasure to meet Blaise she was very helpful and accommodating!
Thank you Hotworx for you consistency and for great workouts.
I couldn't believe the reviews that this place received a few weeks ago. Sadly, it is just so easy to trash a place when you have bad intentions. But believe me this place is fabulous

At first I loved going to Hotworx because it felt inclusive and I wasn’t overwhelmed like I usually am in bigger gyms. Being a veteran with PTSD has it’s challenges and I felt like I was finally making progress when it came to working out going to Hotworx.

As of today my membership was cancelled with no notice nor did they contact me to inform me as to why it was cancelled. I was told by an African American employee who is also a veteran as to why my membership had gotten cancelled. That employee was also discriminated against the entire time she worked there and has since removed herself from that toxic environment for the sake of her mental health.

Behaviors like this does not bring community to Houston, it separates us further a part. I am highly disappointed in Hotworx Energy Corridor.

I really like Hotworx. I go all the time. My skin is better since I have been going regularly. The sweating is a great stress reliever for me. Isometric workouts run in 45 min intervals. As far as results, I am more toned since adding yoga, Pilates, etc. I never did isometric workouts before. If you go at off times you may be in a sauna by yourself. Saunas fit up to 3 people. You book ahead of time on app so you can see if others booked. It is video lead. Videos change every couple months. I don’t mind the repeat videos b/c I can judge my progression on the poses/moves. There are also HIIT classes (spin bike, bike that uses arms too, and rower) that run on 15 min intervals. Then there is the FX zone which is weight area. It’s open 24 hours and you have an app you use to unlock door.

I have been a member since this location opened. The 24 hour access is secure and is perfect for my fluctuating schedule. I love the ability to use the FX Zone weights after I have completed my Hotworx session. The staff is friendly and always happy to greet me after my long days. This has cured my gym anxiety and helped me stay consistent with my goals no matter if I only have 30 minutes to get a good burn in!!

Unfortunately, I've had a very frustrating experience with Hot Workx. Despite multiple attempts to cancel my membership, I've been unable to do so. This lack of responsiveness and difficulty in canceling has been highly disappointing. I hope they improve their customer service and make cancellation processes more straightforward in the future.

I love Hotworx! I joined last summer, and I honestly didn’t expect to like it so much because I don’t like being hot, and I’m easily bored. It didn’t take me long to get hooked though, and I’ve even learned to love that heat. The sessions are flexible, I love the 24 hour access, and it’s something I actually look forward to doing after work. Since joining, I’ve seen significant improvements in my strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. I was excited about Hotworx and signed up early on but have since needed to cancel because of distance and convenience, nothing else. I would have recommended this place to others but now cannot as it seems impossible to cancel. I have emailed. I have visited the studio during business hours and talked to the person there but unfortunately the manager was unavailable to help. I was told the manager would call and get me squared away. That never happened. I have called the studio and unfortunately the manager was unavailable and was told that I would receive a call within 30 minutes. That did not happen. Multiple emails, multiple calls and an in-person visit... since November 2023. It is now March 2024 and I am still getting charged monthly. It is getting ridiculous.
