I was a member of the Hotworx Summerwood location in Houston for the past 6 months, where Broc was the first rep to show me around the studio. He helped me get acquainted with all the equipment and made me feel welcomed by the other studio members from day one.

After recently moving to a new state, I had an extremely hard time adjusting and struggled to get in contact with all of my new local Hotworx studios. Broc went above and beyond to help me navigate the situation, offered genuine words of encouragement, and even helped me upgrade my membership so I could stay on track with my fitness goals.

While this may seem like a small task, Broc’s kindness, patience, and willingness to help truly pulled me out of a difficult time and motivated me to get back to myself again. The warmth and support he’s shown since I first joined Hotworx is what sets this location apart from any gym I’ve ever been to.

Not for me. I was only interested in hot pilates. I visited the location. The staff is friendly and very professional. I was warmly welcomed. The gym was clean. The video is your instructor and I just didn't like the height of the video screen. I couldn't see the video and execute the next move without having to constantly look up. This is the perfect gym if you like to work out alone and require minimal instruction.

I just recently join the club. It's a great place to elevate your work out or jump start it if you are looking for something different. I had the absolute pleasure of trying HOTWORX Summerwood in Houston TX for the first time. I was very dubious about combining the heat of the infrared sauna with my exercise. Great place! You can workout anything you want here, enough machines and variety in a small cozy place (I don't like huge gyms) 24 hr access so I can come in literally whenever I want.. Convenience of a clean shower, so when I come in really early, I can shower and head to work from there. Place is maintained clean, I have never experience anything but freshness at this place. (been to other hotworx and this one has a really nice vibe). Broc, the manager on the pic, is Awesome! and very thorough in explaining the benefits and all the options they have. All of the staff is super nice and welcoming!
Price is ok, but at least I get full access to all hotworx, no matter where I am!
Totally recommend, the sauna really makes a difference in your workout; and I love the FX Zone where you have access to weights, dumbbells, rope and much more!

This hidden gem had been in my neighborhood for one year and I am elated that I finally joined this gym. Abyi is amazing she gave me a tour of the facility and how to book my classes and most importantly the location and 24 access and the sweat I get from working out is hands down the best. Brock the manager is the best he is always so friendly and approachable and makes the best homemade protein bars that you will need after the workout. All I can say is give it a try and you will also be hooked instantly like I was. No excuses why you can’t get a workout in every day with the location and 24 hours access clean facility and secure. One thing that sets this gym apart is how quick and how effective the workouts are!! There are so many different guided workouts that you can choose from like core, barre, isometric, yoga, pilates, and lots more! The different options lets you switch up your workouts to keep things fun!!

DO NOT ENROLL. They have SHADY business practices including false advertising. They will charge your card on file without ANY authorization on your behalf. I enrolled during their thanksgiving special that advertised “no payments until the new year”. That was a LIE. I haven’t even scheduled my welcome tour or been to a facility yet, but they decided to charge my card just two weeks after enrolling. This has NEVER happened to me with any other gym I’ve joined in the past. Save yourself the trouble… join a different gym that runs with honesty and integrity. This place is trash!

Love Hotworx!! I usually never sweat but I instantly sweat when I work out here! I'm a lazy workoutter in general but I love that I can come and do 2 cycling classes which takes all of 30 minutes (15 minutes each) and come out drenched in sweat!

All I can say is wow! 🤩 I am normally a pretty active person but every now and then you get in a rut. This place has taken me out of that rut. It’s different than your traditional gym and workouts. The classes are quick 15 min and it’s equivalent to a 30-45 min workout, along with the other 45 min infrared sauna workouts. I have definitely seen a change with gained muscle mass, lost inches and cellulite!! The staff is great at keeping the facility clean and they are amazing as well.

Been a member since March and really enjoy going 5 times a week if I can and I am already feeling a difference, which is keeping me going for sure.

There are some challenges, I guess as it is still fairly new:
- it’s 24 hrs and so not manned all the time, if therefore there is a question or you want to make a purchase etc, this isn’t always possible.
- today there were no wipes to clean the equipment after use.
- doing the virtual classes is ok, except when you as on the floor or in a downward dog and therefore can’t see the screen!!!
- some of the equipment is different to that in the video and so you can’t follow along at those points.
- there is limited time between each session for the classes to come out and the next class to go in, especially in Hot Buns or Hot Bands where there is additional personal equipment needed.
- there is only space for 3 people per class and not a lot of space in each sauna… therefore if someone turns up late then this can cause challenges to the workout, focus and safety of the class.

Having said all the above I have shared these with the team and owner and hope these will be resolved soon. The staff, when they are there are polite and helpful. The saunas a clean and well maintained. There are two restrooms and one includes a shower facility which could be helpful to know for some customers.

Hope to be able to re review soon to a 4 or 5 star when the above have been resolved.
