this location could be great, but the owner ruins it. Her attitude is downright nasty — rude, condescending, and clearly only in it for the money. She treats people like they’re beneath her, and it shows in how miserable the staff look. You can tell even they’re fed up with her. The energy here is tense and unwelcoming, and cleanliness is hit or miss. There are plenty of other HOTWORX locations run by people who actually care — this isn’t one of them. Avoid.

Beware, they do not provide the bands for your first session like other studios may. Tried to bring a friend and was forced to do another class because hot bands is “advanced” but really they just don’t want to provide the band. Closest to my house so I have to go here but a few of their customer service encounters have made me want to find another location.

Andrea, the owner has been amazing to me from day one! This wasn’t my original studio due to the fact it wasn’t open when I originally joined BUT she treats me as if it is!;). What is truly wonderful about her is her genuine desire to know her clients and members! I have told so many of friends who also go to Alive yoga the many benefits of the infrared, 24/7 access and different types of workouts WITH a shower to pop in during your lunch break!

I have to add that I saw this family after they visited this location. Talking about distraught. The child herself was so upset. She was crying thinking was all her fault. The fact that management sends that kind of response is absolutely disgustful! Get new Managment

Per your very unprofessional response! It does when my niece calls me crying over the incident. I was also in the room when you called months later and you yourself didn’t even know the what the incident was or offer an apology.
And I do enjoy my fate location. They are very professional and kind, it’s always clean and great music. Maybe you should visit and see the young adults run it! Take some notes
As a fellow manager and owner of a business some advice is to be more kind and respectful to the employees and the customers. After all they are paying your mortgage!

The response below from the Owner on this review is ABSOLUTELY FALSE & ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HER POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & BUSINESS PRACTICE.
I have verified the HOTWORX Policies & rules, no where does it indicate that a guest of a member cannot be seated in the seating area or eat in that area. I was not asked to have her stop eating nor was I advised not to bring her at future sessions I was asked to leave immediately. The employee was not distraught at all by my behavior it was the owners behavior & treatment which had her distraught, so much that she was subsequently FIRED because of the incident. I HAVE NEVER IN THE TWO YEARS OF BEING A HOTWORX MEMBER DISRESPECTED ANY LOCATION . FINALLY I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CALLS WHICH YOU CAN CLEARLY LOOK UP MY CONTACT INFORMTATION OR RESPONSE TO MY DIRECT EMAIL TO THE OWNER ON THE DAY OF THE INCIDENT AS WELL AS THE FOLLOW UP EMAIL I SENT TO CORPORATE MID MONTH THIS MONTH FROM THIS LOCATION OR ITS OWNER. THEY ARE A LIAR & DISGUSTING BUSINESS OWNER. IT HAS BEEN ONLY THIS RESPONSE TWO DAYS AGO THAT THERE HAS BEEN ANY COMMUNICATION.

1.31.25 Review-
Not only was this location extremely difficult to find I was asked to leave location abruptly after I had started my workout! The owner has ABSOLUTELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & made her staff cry by yelling at them when they were not aware that I could not have my child waiting for me in the front at the tables as I have done at MULTIPLE DFW locations before. The poor young staff member was so embarrassed & distraught at being yelled at & having to ask me to leave. If this location does not allow children there should be a clear sign that says so & staff should be advised before being reprimanded for not knowing. I have been a HOTWORX patron for years & have never received such disrespectful service! The least the owner could’ve done was to allow me to finish my workout & advise that in the future it wouldn’t be acceptable to bring my child. I understand that the location could be liable if something happened to my child BUT AGAIN IVE BEEN TO SEVERAL HOTWORX LOCATIONS where I’ve been allowed & my daughter is very well behaved & understands how to follow directions & instructions of not getting up until I was done. This treatment was absolutely DISGUSTING & a poor reflection on HOTWORX!

I absolutely LOVE Hot Worx at Park & Preston in Plano, TX! The infrared sauna workouts and variety of classes keep me motivated and excited to show up. Since starting, I’ve noticed a huge boost in my energy levels, better sleep, and improved endurance.

The owners and staff are truly amazing—super friendly, incredibly supportive, and always willing to help. The atmosphere is welcoming, the facility is spotless, and the team is so knowledgeable. I love HOTWORX. Especially this location. Very clean and doesn’t smell like feet. Andrea and her staff are the sweetest and extremely helpful. The different workout options that are provided is phenomenal. The 3d videos really motivates you to keep pushing. You’re not being judged by anyone, but yourself. My favorite would have to be hot Pilates. HOTWORX is really good for your all around health. I recommend it to everyone even elders. Release those toxins from your body and enjoy a workout while doing so :-)

I tried the studio with my husband for yoga and called in to try a second excercise to make sure the gym was a good fit before we both signed up. The owner said I'd have to pay a fee that rang in at the same amount for a full month trial at a nearby yoga studio. High pressure sales tactics! Plus you have to listen to irritating advertising before getting to the workout!

Love this place! Owners are super friendly, the place is always very clean, and I always get a sauna to myself entirely so I can really focus only on myself. I think the infrared energy has also helped me with inflammation. I feel great, and I haven’t been able to say that in a couple of years. I’m just addicted to going now! Can’t say enough good things!
