I really wanted to Iove this place but this location seems like it doesn’t care about its facility. There is at least one broken machine in each sauna some with two broken machines out of the three. The rowing machines have been down for over a year now with still no signs of getting fixed. I wish the owners would pay more attention to this location as it seems to be going downhill. If I’m paying over $54 per month I would like to be able to use working machines

If zero stars were available, this location would merit it. I approached this studio ready to enroll and pay all required fees, but the manager, Dulce, demonstrated conduct wholly inconsistent with professional standards. When I raised a simple and legitimate customer concern, she became defensive, argumentative, and visibly offended instead of resolving the issue.
A manager’s duty is to de-escalate, clarify policy, and assist — not react emotionally or attempt to dispute a customer’s experience. Her behavior reflects a clear lack of training, maturity, and managerial readiness. I have since taken my business elsewhere to a HOTWORX location that upholds the level of professionalism expected in this industry. The best part, I was able to become a member right before the employees left and was also able to enjoy the evening class I wanted!!

Your response is disappointing but not surprising. Claiming Dulce was never argumentative or unprofessional is simply untrue. Whether it was two calls or three, the impression she made was the problem — and it was consistent. The defensiveness, the attitude, and the lack of basic phone etiquette speak for themselves.
The name discrepancy comment is irrelevant and comes off as another attempt to deflect instead of taking accountability. My experience was real, and I have the messages and call logs to support it.
What’s even more telling is that instead of addressing the issue, your management chose to deny, minimize, and deflect — which aligns perfectly with the other reviews mentioning poor professionalism and broken equipment.
Thankfully, a different HOTWORX location provided excellent service and signed me as a member immediately.
This review isn’t for attention — it’s a warning for others. Accountability matters, even if your studio refuses to practice it.

Don't judge the other hotworx locations by this one. This location, by far, is the worst! None of the rowers work. One is missing the foot strap, the other two are so tight, you can't pull the handles at all.

I’m very disappointed with this HOTWORX location. I notified them in person and via email that I wanted to cancel my membership, yet they continued charging me for four more months. Despite multiple attempts to contact the manager, I received no response. It feels like a complete rip-off, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable. I would not recommend this studio based on my experience — be very careful if you’re considering signing up.

Don’t waste your money at this location. They can’t even get their equipment functional. I have been asking for them to fix the row machines since July of last year. I was told that the parts were in back order but for this long? Doubt it. I’ve reached out several times and they asked me for two weeks to give them the chance to fix the machines.. I gave them a month! And nothing had been fixed. My issues and requests have fallen on deaf ears. They obviously don’t care about the gym or the customers who spend money here. My advice? Find another gym…
I gave them every opportunity to make it right and they unfortunately did not care- I even left my contact info for the manager to call me about this situation. That was two weeks ago and I still haven’t heard from them. I also reached out to Napo the owner on social. Dead silence. I’ll be going into the gym and cancelling my membership immediately.

Guys the gym is becoming a mess , weight checking machine is not working and needs to be balanced, stationary bikes seats are wonky and there are no paper towels for the past two weeks.

When I first started it was ok. the girl that was temporary showed me around. I don't think I got the full understanding. I liked going early not too many people and i could get a sauna alone. there is no way 3 people that are strangers would share one of those. I did not do the cycling and the stench of the cycle spots was pretty bad. free weight area was great. people were nice. when i cancelled even after 3 months I had to pay 99.00 which was not the deal but that's ok. Looks like they have regular staff now so that is good. Wish the boxes were larger. tall people would be out of luck.

I had an appointment scheduled to try a free class and when I showed up, no one was there. I was unable to get into the building and called several times with no answer. I waited for 20 minutes and no one ever showed up. I’m super disappointed as my time was wasted, gas money spent to get to the studio, and I was really looking forward to trying out this workout!

Joined almost year ago to escape the large crowded gyms and loved it. But really disappointed in the lack of direction when it comes on how to utilize certain machines. Due to lack of knowledge these cycle machines break weekly, need to incorporate a video on a how to during the 30 second break.

Prefer to go to the sugar land location as their cycle machines are much up to par.
Really hope we also can get these upgraded bikes.

When I moved and needed to cancel, the website said to email to cancel and give 60 day notice. Then I came in to “sign paperwork” but no one asked me to sign anything to cancel and they said it was 60 days from when you walk in. Not from when you email. So beware the cancellation policy isn’t clear. I paid an extra $99 cancellation even after given written notice. The customer Service here isn’t up to par for the price you’re paying monthly. As someone who needed a small gym to get back into a routine I thought this place would be it. Joined in April of 2021. And each time I would go during staffed hours they didn’t greet me or help me if I had questions about the door opening. The Brivo pass wouldn’t work as much as It was supposed to. And when I would finally get my phone out to look up the written passcode they gave me on a sticky it was two or three minutes passed. And the girls (normally 2) wouldn’t open the door for me or even help me figure the Brivo pass out. This is far from a luxury gym. When I switched to unstaffed hours there was never clean paper towels.

Hello,
I am a sweat everywhere member and I went to this location because it is closer to my friends home and I wanted them to experience what I experienced the first time I walked into the door. It was absolutely not that experience to a point my friends said they did not want to come here. It was a very unpleasant experience and it really saddens me because I was expecting to be greeted and welcomed and it was not that at all.. it almost felt like we were nuisances. Before I booked my appointment the host or whomever answered around the time of 12pm on 10/17/2022 — had an unpleasant attitude as if I was bothering her…. I’m just like okay what’s the point of having sweat everywhere and the guests privileges to feel like a burden. Terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible experience and I myself will NOT be returning back and you all lost possible members and one of my friends were ready to sign up on Friday and now just being welcomed with a poor attitude has rubbed her the wrong way.
Please make sure all members and future members feel welcomed because I feel really bad EVEN BRINGING THEM HERE!! DO BETTER!!!!!

Tried this place for the first time on Friday September 30th, it’s now been an entire week and I can say that I absolutely love it here! I’ve had many many issues committing to a gym and have been the personal trainer route twice. But I am beyond happy to say that Hotworx is everything that I’ve needed. I don’t like to workout with other people around and I love that with Hotworx I can be in my own sauna alone, which has made me way more motivated to keep coming back. Keagan is the absolute best, she guided me through my free trial workout and answered all of my questions. She always had answer and is very friendly! Always a joy when she’s there. First time I came in for info, Natalie greeted, walked me through the process and signed me up for a trial class. She was knowledgeable and friendly. When I went in after the trial, my son and I decided to join. Karina signed us up. I asked a lot of questions and she answered everything patiently. I really enjoy the warmth she gives the place. Both girls are very attentive every time we go. It makes a difference going into a place where the staff is friendly and they treat all members equally, no favoritism. That’s a small business owner myself, that stuff is essential.
About the facility.. I really enjoy the workouts. I have seen results in a matter of a month and a half. I go in almost daily since we signed up in August. The only issue that I have is that my apps never load and I cannot track my workouts or progress, or access the door unless I punch in the code. I have tried downloading it over multiple times and I’ve still had no luck. It’s not exactly a dealbreaker. Overall I am happy with the service.

Natalie at HOTWORX Richmond is amazing. She is very knowledgeable of health, wellness and fitness. She has the most sweetest spirit and always greets you with a beautiful smile. Her energy is amazing as well.

Where to start!!!!! So many amazing things to say about this location!!! Keagan is the MOST AMAZING manager!! From the beginning she has always been so genuine and caring about all her clients!! She is knowledgeable and answers every question with facts! The saunas are amazing! Never crowded!! I love the 24 hour access with our own personal access to the facility. I enjoy the gym in the back equipped with weights and everything you need for strength training. All the ladies are a breath of fresh air!! There is a vending machine for refreshments and affordable equipment needed for the sessions in the saunas. It smells sooo amazing when you walk in and not like a hot sweaty gym!! There is a personal restroom with a shower included. The facility is a great temperature but not freezing when you walk out. So many good things!! I truly recommend this Hotworx location!!!

Hotworx is the fountain of youth if you have the motivation, the will, and desire. It's really all mental, because the body can anything you set it to do. The infrared sauna is the secret sauce because it breaks down the lactic acid, in layman terms, you are not going to be sore, and it speeds up recovery, so you can show up the next day. Serious! I went from working out 2 days a week or 2 sessions per week to now, where I'm doing 2 visits per day x 4 sessions = 8 sessions per day, because my recovery is that quick. I'm not 26 years old, no not even 36, nope not 46, try fifty six years young! Infrared sauna you all, get it now! It won't disappoint! If you want to lose inches, yes I lost 6 inches and counting, get your nutrition and macros to where you need it to be, then let Hotworx do all the rest! I'm a guy and I haven't even done the yoga stuff yet, just the Hot Cycle, Hot Thunder, and Hot Blast! So I still have a long way to go but I'm not complaining with the progress I made so far. The staff here rocks (Keegan, Natalie, and Karina!). Best of all, it's 24/7...

Been coming here since it opened and I love it! I’ve lost a lot of weight with just 30mins of workout in the rooms. Another amazing thing is that it’s open 24/7 with a personal code to enter. Which means no reason at all not to show up! I’ve done orange theory as well but I must say this was the most effective way for me to lose weight! The staff is really nice too! Honestly I would highly recommend this place.

Being open 24/7 for all members with classes starting every 15 minutes means that you can get an awesome workout in no matter what your schedule looks like. The infrared energy from the saunas helps so much with aches and pains, muscle recovery, melting fat, cellulite reduction, boosting metabolism, improving cardiac health and blood flow, and so much more! I went for my orientation today. The owner explained everything to me and was very friendly. Using the app seems easy and I like how I can book a session and go whenever I want. I tried the hot blast workout today and I got a good workout in within 15 minutes. I look forward to trying to the isometric workouts next time. I will keep you all posted on how it’s going!
