I joined HOTWORX Round Rock last week and the ownership and staff have been welcoming from the moment I walked in. The GM took time to share her and her family’s success with the program and that was helpful and motivating. The workouts are challenging, but the heated training environment adds clear benefits, and the variety keeps things engaging. This studio runs well and supports members who want real results. Recommend.

DO NOT DO IT

1. You’re locked into a 6-month agreement — and if something MEDICAL happens that prevents you from working out in a sauna, you’re still required to pay $107 just to cancel. That’s insane. I literally can’t work out in a sauna anymore and just want my money back. It’s completely unfair.

2. You’re required to buy their “Hotworx” equipment, which costs another $120. Ridiculous — it feels like a total SCAM.

3. There are no live instructors — just the same videos over and over. It gets repetitive and boring fast, especially for $63 a month.

Honestly, I wouldn’t waste your money here. Go to a real gym. This company feels money hungry and not supportive of their members at all.

I DID call and notify 🤣 and asked about the fee and yall said i can keep paying for a membership im not using ($9 a month for a year) or pay $99 cancellation. Stick by my review and happy to take down if yall are willing to refund me the $99 DUE TO A MEDICAL CONDITION where i cant work out. TO ADD i called and you said i HAD to come in person in cancel. I come in AND you tell me “oh we dont cancel in person, not sure who you talked to”. again scammy and super frustrating.

I have no respect for businesses that have to resort to extortion to make money. If you offered a good service maybe you wouldn't have to steal more money off of people who already paid you nearly a thousand dollars.

And fyi implying that im lying because you "dont have a cancellation request under my name" is low too. I wouldn't be caught dead subscribing to your service but someone i care about did.

This place has done wonders for my back. My wife loves this place.... sometimes I think she loves it more than me! Haha! She insisted I try it for my back and she was so right!! It has been very beneficial and supplements my daily physical therapy!

I’ll give 2 star coz of the friendly staffs but company policy is horrible. The main company takes zero accountability, they don’t care. I have reached out multiple times including marketing team and the CEO’s email as there seems no customer service provided by the HQ, we could reach at. My Home Studio said there was nothing they could do to help. The situation I faced was a gap in policy. I did all I could trying to reach out for
help but no response, this is my last resort !!!

I cannot express how AMAZING this place is! Been a member for just a couple months & it’s great! The staff is fantastic — Ale is so sweet, helpful, and MOTIVATING! Ms. Carmen is SO understanding; you can see and feel the genuine care she has for her clients! This is a great place to workout alone OR with a buddy. THIS is the place to be if you want to be to transform yourself. 100/10 recommend!

Horrible customer service, I was told I don’t mean to kick you out but this shows blocked on my system, it’s not what you say but how you say it. No pleasantries , no resolution and a simple let me check your appointment for you to ensure you are at the right location would have been more appropriate.

Today I had the pleasure of experiencing a service that truly exceeded my expectations, all thanks to the new management and new ownership at the University location. I pointed out a small hazard with one of the saunas and before I finished my session, the small issue was already being repaired. It wasn't a major problem, and I truly did not think they would get to it that quickly. I was very impressed with such quick response. It is clear that a fresh approach has been implemented by this new team. The attention to detail is remarkable – no aspect of the customer experience was overlooked. It is evident that the new management truly cares about the quality they provide. It's refreshing to see a team that focuses on the finer details without sacrificing the bigger picture. The improvements are noticeable, and I look forward to seeing how this new ownership continues to enhance the experience. Highly impressed and excited for the new year!

I love that HotWorx is accessible 24/7. It’s always clean and the staff has always been super friendly and helpful! If you’re curious, they offer free try-it sessions, try a HIIT class and a longer one like yoga or Pilates. They also have a small weight section and bathrooms with a shower. You will definitely sweat in these classes!

I’ve joined hotworx about 4 months ago and it has been amazing, everyone is so friendly and supportive, the most I like about this gym is how organized it is, they manage a really nice app where you can check the workout you would like to do with times and also if someone will be there with you or not, I like how secure it is, you only need your code or your phone to go in, they offer water fountain, and a really cool snack and drink machine, have to mention the amazing work the owner Carmen does, always being so nice and welcoming I love talking to her !

My account was on pause due to personal health issues which made it so I could not be in the sauna. They then took my account off hold and charged my account with no notice. I recommended that they just use it towards a cancellation and to take my account off hold but they refused to put it towards my cancellation fee even though I was not using the facility. They do not care about pregnant ladies or beast feeding mamas. It’s very sad because I transferred from out of state and did not expect this kind of service.

I joined during the time they had door issues and consistently had no staff. Never was able to access the door went one time for them to trouble shoot the door never worked after. I did not attend 1 session and asked for months for my money to be returned. I was told by Amanda after several months and going up there with no response that I would not receive a refund. I asked her to review the cameras because I have never been there as I could not access the door; she refused to do that. I have now requested the owners llc and contact information for lawsuit. I still have not received that information and it has been a couple of months. I have kept all communications and intend on suing her personally and this company. Ridiculous for such great reviews makes me believe they were paid for.

I was very hesitant to join but so happy I did! I really love this place- super clean and all the machines work properly. I have had the misfortune to work out on broken machines in other locations but this one is by far my favorite! Morgan goes above and beyond and was very up front about the contract/ cancellation policy and answered all my questions.

Perfect place if you need to get a couple quick 15 minute workouts in a day for a big calorie burn! Love it!!

The place is good. I cancelled my membership because of the distance. I gave 3 stars review because the employee who helped me open my accounts is not honest or knowledgeable enough to tell me there is a 60 days notice for cancellation. I specifically asked for the cancellation and she kind of deceived. When I try to cancel it, the employee said you signed for the cancellation policy. It’s my fault that trusting the employee about cancellation. Be aware of this.

Between a clean facility and clean machines, hotworx brings an awesome environment to workout in after a long day of school or work. Each sauna is clean upon entering and always stocked with fresh towels and sanitizer. Along with the amazing facility, the staff brings a warm and inviting persona that makes me excited to work out and makes me comfortable to ask any questions about the gym or membership. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new gym!

Before I joined I would see the ads and just could not wrap my head around what this place was. I'm so pleased I took the time to visit and find out.
Hotworx combines 2 of my loves together.
I'm an old school Bally's girl who has always loved the sauna. While Hotworx has so much more than Yoga, it is my favorite class to take.
It's very easy to schedule the classes on the app. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Each sauna and the entire place is always so clean. I'd love to be able to fit in my schedule to go every day 😀

I was so excited to join Hotworx when I learned it was coming to Round Rock. For someone who is inconsistent with working out, Hotworx is such an innovative and personalized concept that has made me want to actually show up. I love the private sauna booths and mix of cardio options. Great new studio with weight lifting too. Cant recommend enough!

Hotworx is an incredible workout. I love that you can pop in for a quick 15 minute cardio or HIIT session, or choose something a bit longer with core, buns, iso, and more body workouts and either way you're going to sweat like you've never sweat before. They're open 24 hours so there's never a excuse for me not to make it in at some point during any day. I'm so glad I joined. My husband also liked being my guest so much that he joined too. Seriously worth the money!
