Not only has HOTWORX changed my life, but the staff has been my biggest cheerleaders and support with my weight loss journey. I cannot believe I’ve been a member for 2 years and counting and I’m down 50+ pounds! I signed up in July 2025, tried to cancel within the cancellation period but they were closed during business hours when I tried to go. They told me over the phone I COULD cancel by phone, but they didn’t actually do it.
In November. I complained to them and the Texas Attorney General that they were still charging me $120/mo. They sent me my membership agreement without any communication to explain if my account was canceled or not.
THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME FOUR MONTHS LATER.
These people are monsters. Run away.

Great place to workout! There’s busy times through the day but still pretty chill and easy to do your own thing. I can’t speak for every location but this stone oak location is always clean and welcoming! Friendly and helpful staff is an added bonus 🩷

I started at this location over a year ago and I couldn’t be more pleased with the facility and staff. I find myself looking forward to my workouts in the sauna. The staff is always helpful and very kind. I love my HOTWORX!

I love hotworx but this location does not take care or fix their equipment. I would NOT make this your home location!
Apart from the sauna equipment 5 , 6 & 8 making loud noises when using it. It’s suppose to be smooth and quiet when in use. You can hear it outside in the hallways. And there’s nothing worse using an equipment & listening to that sound. There’s missing parts like the knob on the volumes, wooden panels on the walls and button stickers missing major of the rooms. I would imagine these would be simple fixings but they just leave it like that. I been in there a few times over the 3 months, I don’t plan on coming back to that location. It’s unfortunate they don’t upkeep like the rest. They haven’t fix any of this since the pass times going.

A/C unit has been out for several days. Tried calling front desk during business hours and it goes straight to voicemail. The key issue for me is that when you walk in the building has no fresh cool air which makes it a bit difficult when exiting the sauna as well. Please address this issue as other customers have voiced similar concerns.

Getting a HOTWORX membership is a MUST!!!

I love coming to this studio. I ended up getting better results than I got at Orange theory fitness. Not only do you get a great workout but it has immensely helped my mental health. Having that time in the sauna really makes you feel like a new person once you step out. The staff is extremely friendly and they always have fun activities happening within the gym. Best part is that it is 24 hours so it goes with anyone’s schedule. You can even self book your classes.

I had a wonder first experience at Hotwire Stone Oak location. The facility is very clean and staff are pleasant and helpful. I joined the same day at a very good price come and sign up. Annette helped me set my room up and gave me a tour. Thanks Annette

BEWARE!! When I signed up I made sure there was no contract! They told me that as long as I tried it for 3 months I could cancel at anytime.
This was not the case, not only did they charge me $99.00 to cancel after my 3 months they charged me &99.00 per family member on my account!
How can you charge multiple times for 1 account. What a scam!! Very dishonest! Would not recommend to anyone.

I love this gym BUT starting April 5th they are going to allow 2 members (strangers) to workout together in small heated sauna. The saunas are extremely small and sweat gets everywhere. Just nasty thinking about being that close to a stranger right now. Sadly, I will probably cancel shortly after this.

This place is fantastic! A great place to workout in privacy and take in that infrared heat that helps you detox and sweat. You should try it!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. And covid restrictions are always in place for our safety.

I’ve never been one to just go to the gym. I love following work outs and having instructors. That’s why I love hotworx! They have so many different workouts to follow including ones that don’t involve the saunas. Plus, all the workouts are less than an hour too! Definitely recommend.

I am seriously ADDICTED to Hotworx in Alamo Heights! This place is awesome, the staff is AMAZNG, and I love the flexibility of scheduling. As a night shift nurse that’s really important to be able to workout at 0300 if I want to. The personal saunas are also really cool for those who don’t like to workout with an audience. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone who is a beginner or even experienced who wants to change up their routine!

I love the Alamo Heights location . This is the most awesome place . You can get a great workout in an infrared sauna . It’s easier on the joints and makes you feel great . You have an app you can pick from 10 different workouts and a very helpful staff. The trainers are virtual so you can go at your own pace . This place is a lifesaver .

This place is HORRIBLE! The first time they charge my account 3 times for the exact same charge and they denied ...I have to up with my bank and it was a whole deal to clear this up. I thought I could give them another chance one of the owners lied to me in the charge more than the national ad said and when I asked him he said different location work different when in reality they have to honor national prices. He looked pity he also forced me to buy the towel there when the first time I went there was not such a thing. When I discovered he lied to me I asked for the membership to cancel because i read with 3 days is a full refund but he tried to hide that fact from me. When I took the tower back it was brand new but it did not have the plastic thing on it, but I had the receipt and towell was in perfect conditions he refused to give me a refund for the horrible towel 45.00. they are dishonest and unethical and I will NEVER in my life go back nor recommended it! They are pity and they are desperate for money!

I’m not one to really go to gyms and I have struggled with working out and gaining weight to where I didn’t feel confident to publicly workout. I was referred to HOTWORX and I ABSOLUTELY love it! You are in your own time burning calories that you wouldn’t think you could EVEN burn them after working out. I love the staff especially walking in and welcoming you. I feel AMAZING after every session and just able to relax and do something for me on my own time and privately. Even during a pandemic I feel safe going to HOTWORX, staff always cleaning to make us the customer feel safe. Definitely encourage everyone to try this place! #AlamoHeightsHOTWORX

I fell in love the first time trying it. I got a great intense workout and a body facial at the same time. I did hot cycle. It was so much fun and fast. Then I did hot core and let me tell you feel every movement. The heat intense but well worth it😉

As a former personal trainer, I highly recommend Hotworx!! This the perfect workout, especially if you don’t want to spend hours in the gym. This particular location is very clean, the staff was super nice, helpful and made me feel very comfortable during my first visit (and every time since). Love it!!
