Went in to try this place because I was looking for a new place to start working out. Didn't know what Hotworx was about but I loved the concept. Did my free session and signed up after. This is a clean and friendly location. Annie was great is showing me around, explaining everything to me, and answering all my questions!

Was told it was month to month no contract, after 3 months I decided to cancel since I didn’t like it. For a man those seats are really uncomfortable. Gave them a called to cancel and they said it was $99 dollar cancellation fee which they failed to tell me when I signed up.

Hotworx Willis is by far the best location I’ve been to! The atmosphere is always so clean and inviting, and the smell of Thieves essential oil makes the whole place feel fresh and energizing. It’s always clean! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, they truly make you feel at home. I’m so glad this is my home location because it’s definitely superior to the others I’ve visited in Conroe. I always look forward to coming back!

I am new to this gym and really love it. I got an unrelated injury and it really knocked me down mentally… the main reason I work out is so I can stay healthy and play with my kids and eventually my future grandbabies! But it’s part of life and I know I’ll heal. I went back to working out before I was ready and re injured myself and was ready to quit. I walked in fully ready to sign and quit but Jessica was so helpful and so kind. She wasn’t pushy at all and instead of quitting, I’m taking a pause to heal and coming back next month. The sauna workouts are really incredible and make me feel awesome. I was previously a morning workout girl but then I tried a sauna yoga session at night and it was the best way to go to sleep. It’s the perfect “me” time while also helping me become the best mom I can be. I can’t wait to feel better and come back. Thank you to Jess for motivating me when I was feeling super down!!

Im updating my review a year later to 3 stars because I think their business practices around cancellations are poor. I still stand by my positive experience there, (see below), but not being able to transfer locations, the specific way in which you have to cancel, requiring 60 day notice then Charging the remaining 2 months at once or having to pay $99 for immediate cancellation is ridiculous. Just let someone cancel when they want to cancel and make it immediate. It’s that simple. It falls perfectly into the negative stereotypes about gym cancellations. I was going to eventually come back but not now.

Original review - I never thought I’d be recommending working out in a sauna but here we are. I really like working out here, I look forward to going, and don’t even have to find motivation. The membership price is fair for what you get and the staff is very friendly

We moved and they refuse to cancel our account without sending in a certified letter. You cannot walk into another location or transfer or anything. We are 3 hrs away and they won’t cancel our account without making us go completely out of the way to do it. They do this for more money to make it difficult. So beware if you move and have a life with kids.

I can't begin what at life change I had since joining Hotworxs in February 2023. I had 6 brain surgeries and been diagnosed with EDS. With that being said, my balance, muscles, and bones hurt all the time. Since, joining Hotworxs my balance has improved dramatically. I am still not at my gymnastics status, but I am 47 😞.
The vitural trainers are incredible. Their IG will tell you what they are up to and give you the inspiration that is needed. Ashley B has even taken the time to message me on IG. I plan to take the NASM course this fall. Where that leads, who knows. Hotworxs gave me hope back!

The facility itself is fantastic. Helpful people (when staffed) and super clean. The HOTWORX app, though, in my opinion, could use some help. It's clunky and not very elegant. The user experience (again, imo) leaves a lot to be desired.

I absolutely love Willis HOTWORX! I joined May 17th started my workouts in May 19th and have not stopped! I go at least six days a week and it has completely changed my life. The facility is always clean and the staff is so helpful anytime that I need them. I have knee issues and this is the first time that I have actually been able to work out with the infrared saunas without pain. I I have more energy and I’m actually losing weight along with a lot of inches. They have a reward program which I actually reached before my 90 days. The cost is less than a cup of coffee a day to me that is priceless. I absolutely love in the VI instructors and how quickly I can get my workouts done and on with my day. If I could give more than five stars, I would give more than five stars.

This is a wonderful new addition to the Willis area. If you know where Shipley Donuts is on I-45 then you’ll find this place easily!

The staff are wonderful. I signed up with Jadyn and then Jennifer signed up my grandson when we stopped in for our 1st exercise visit there. We met the owner and he was very nice. Everyone took time to answer my questions and ensured I had the right access and optional apps installed on my phone to enhance my experience.

I’ve not been in a gym since 2008. I’m in my late 50s. I’ve never been in great shape. I’m interested in this gym’s approach as I’ve got a lot of property to maintain and I’m not getting any younger! I need to lose 30 lbs as summer works its way here. That maintenance equipment is heavy. I can do without my extra weight.

O and also I’m very introverted. The thought of having loads of people around me also flapping body parts around while a shouty instructor is in front is intimidating. The virtual instructor approach mixed with small saunas and appointments for the spots in them is a dream come true. On the phone app I can see which spots are open and which are taken.

On my drive home yesterday I set up a spot for me and my grandson guest very easily. There was an open room available for just the two of us. We did a 15 min bicycle run. The 12 yr old grandson was shouting along to respond to the virtual instructor which was fun to hear and see.

We sweated up a ton as we hoped we would.

Next time in a few days we’ll try rowing and then mix it up with the rubber bands after that.

Did I mention it’s next to Shipley Donuts? The Hotworx owner knows what he’s doing, haha.

I had been wanting to try HOTWORX for a few months, however I was nervous about going by myself. I met Jennifer at a community health fair and she assured me I would be comfortable coming into HOTWORX by myself and had nothing to be nervous about. I signed up for my free workout, and I’ve been going ever since!
At my FREE visit, Jennifer gave me a tour of the facility and explained how everything works. When I signed up, Jennifer talked me through the sign-up process and what I would need for my continued workouts. Jennifer was kind and informative and took the time to answer all my questions. I’ve also had the opportunity to talk with other staff members during my visits, and everybody is super friendly and welcoming. If you are nervous to try like I was just sign up for your free session and you won’t be disappointed, the infrared sauna has been helpful for my health and overall makes me feel great. I must also say other members I’ve had the Oporto workout with or just talk with have been so friendly as well. Thanks Hotworx for such an amazing workout opportunity!

Haleigha and every single staff member are outstanding. They are friendly and knowledgeable and they keep the facility virtually spotless. I’m 50 and a former college wrestler and this gym is a game changer. The concept is brilliant but more importantly it’s executed to perfection. The machines always are in great working order. The facility couldn’t be cleaner. I joined day 1 and I love it. I have the sweat everywhere membership and the company is great. Always plenty of space for all the sessions due to the unique system. Price wise it’s a deal in my opinion. I have since used other locations and have had no issue with my sweat everywhere membership. I just love this place and its really changed my whole idea about working out. Highly recommend.

This place is so easy to get addicted to! I was diagnosed with breast cancer a little over a year ago. I just completed treatment and am now in remission. 🙌
