There aren’t enough accolades to go around! We love Houston Swim Club League City! We have neurodiverse children and were nervous to have them start swim lessons; however, those fears quickly subsided. The swim teachers and lifeguards are patient, caring and have training working with neurodiverse children. It is very apparent that they take water safety seriously, but at the same time make sure each child’s needs are met in a fun and exciting environment! We cannot thank HSC enough for teaching our babes water safety!

My daughter turned 3 in June and has had such a positive experience here! She started swim lessons at 17m to 2 years old with a private instructor and then we took some time off from lessons. We recently started her back up in May at the Houston Swim Club and I am so glad we did! All of her instructors have been amazing however, Ms. Kenzie has been one of her favorites! She just completed the 3 consecutive float tests with her and has now leveled up to the Seahorse class!

My kids had classes for a week, I feel that my daughter did not learn as she should, the instructor wastes a lot of time talking, eating, she only takes class for 30 minutes but I feel like my daughter didn't learn swimming … The other instructors did much better, I wish my daughter had had another instructor.

We absolutely love Houston Swim Club! The teachers are amazing—caring, skilled, and so patient with the kids. Both my 4 YO and my 6 YO boys have had Mr Aaron as their swim instructor and they quickly developed survival techniques and various skills in the pool! Patience is everything when teaching and it is very present with Mr. Aaron when he is working with children in the water. I cannot recommend his classes enough!

I'm so impressed with everything they do here and Ms. Toni is beyond amazing. My daughter is able to swim on her own now, and I'm so grateful! Ms. Toni is so knowledgeable and kind. Place is great and the kiddo loves it, but parents reserving the dressing rooms is a huge issue. They really need to do something more about it, maybe put a big red tape/marking on the floor to separate a "waiting" area from the stalls.

We Absolutely adore the Houston swim club in League City/Dickinson!! (We drive 21 miles just to come to THIS location)
Everything about this place is fantastic. My daughter has been taking lessons for a 2 years now.
I feel very strongly that water safety and swimming confidence is so important for kids, and Houston swim club makes it a priority. I love the development she gets from having a single instructor, as well as, having the guidance and interaction with a team of instructors at different stages of skill building. The way the team communicates and the way they've gotten to know my daughter is fantastic!
I feel safe knowing that everyone is working together to teach my kiddo! (She needs it- that crazy girl! Lol)

My 5 year old has been swimming at HSC for 2 1/2 years. We have loved all of her instructors, though are especially thankful for Ms. Kelsey, who taught her to float. We have had a total of 5 instructors amongst our kids. I am giving a 4 star review instead of 5 because during the 2 week intensive course, Skylar was very easily distracted by frequently looking at the clock and the waiting area, as if expecting someone or something. We don’t feel she taught our child anything she didn’t do prior. On the last day, Brigette substituted. She was amazing! She switched it up a little, giving our child a bit more challenge that she did wonderfully on.

All the staff are amazing and kids love going. My kids are learning quick. I give this swimming club 2 stars because is not a clean place. It doesn’t feel clean and you can tell by the floors,, the chairs need some good wiping with Clorox, under the windows, the fitting rooms smell horrible, the sinks, the playing area, doors, even the water looks filthy! My daughter tells me all the time that the water has a bad odor. I sent pictures and videos to my family and they can tell the water needs maintenance.

We have been to several swim schools and HSC by far has the best program. The staff and instructors are amazing! They are patient, communicate well with parents, and truly celebrate swimming milestones. HSC focuses on technique from day one from 4 months and up. If you are looking for a swim school this is the one you should check out.

Both my daughters have swam at HSC League City since February! The improvements in their swim skills have been amazing to watch! Everyone is very professional and kind from the office team to the teachers. My youngest passed her float test recently and they did such an awesome job coaching and encouraging her every step! I am so glad that I signed my eight year old up for swimming. Not only has it taught him to swim since we live on the water in Texas City but it has also made a great difference in his confidence in himself and boosted his self esteem. His teacher Mr. Cameron has really helped him progress to his potential. When I get from school he asks "Do I have swimming today? I am so excited and can't wait to get in the water.". I’m long winded but I don’t usually leave reviews and I feel it needs to be said, When we started at HSC in July, my daughter was 5 and terrified of water and it was increasingly aware I didn’t have the knowledge or patience to teach her myself. When I brought her in she spent her entire first class trying to do whatever she could to not have to get in the water, or even on the steps the first few classes. She was hysterical and terrified of the water, I was embarrassed for them to even have to deal with it, if this was any other extracurricular activity I would’ve immediately pulled her out as to not Waste anyone’s time and give the teachers such a headache, but swimming is not an extracurricular it’s a life skill and often the difference between life and death, so I made her stick with it and the staff encouraged me that eventually she would get comfortable and make improvements, even though after the first few classes of her struggling to just sit on the side of the pool I had my doubts the water would ever be something she would stop being scared of enough to let herself learn. I would not have wanted my kid to go on this journey with anyone else but HSC League City, I feel as though their main priority is my child and building a willingness and love of swimming not just a paycheck. From giving her loving pep talks after classes to help her be brave and reminding her their job is to keep her safe, pulling her out of classes that weren’t suited for her so she had more personal attention, working with her one on one, & building a real relationship with her to help her trust and be comfortable. now we are a few months in & she went from trying to claw her teachers arms off when they the tried to help her glide across the pool while they held her, now she swims on her back the length of the pool and refuses help. The peace of mind, living in an area surrounded by so much water and so many pools and knowing I no longer have to worry is absolutely worth it but it’s more than that, It has turned into a new little family for her, other staff members come in to cheer her on when she is trying new harder things. She has so much support and constant encouragement from the staff there, swim day has went from the day of the week she would get so nervous for she would want to throw up to her favorite day of the week! She can’t wait to see Mrs Tracy and get in the pool. She has had other make up classes with other teachers and every one of them have been just as kind and patient, but the staff as a whole, I have NEVER had an offputting experience with a single member of their front desk or other staff they are all just the sweetest group. In just a couple of months of 30 min weekly classes you wouldn’t be able to recognize her in side by side videos of then and now the different is mind blowing. I’m endlessly grateful for HSC and their patience with my water hating kid, they’ve turned her into a water loving fish. If your on the fence, HSC is worth it.
