I love Ed's classes! I've been coming here for almost 2 years and it's been so much fun (in the challenge-yourself and test-your-discipline kind of way) Ed is always helpful and will work with you if you're struggling and give you great advice when you need it. If I wasn't moving I would keep it going but I learned so much here and love the progress I've made.

I found Impressive Fitness at an incredibly important moment in my life. Struggling with self esteem, depression, and self-loathing, I started the workouts a dangerously overweight, and devastatingly out-of-shape man in his 40s. Coach Ed, and the rest of the support staff and members provided an atmosphere of belonging and inclusion while also challenging me with difficult, but wildly productive sessions. After one year of working with them, I lost over fifty pounds, and the only thing limiting that overall loss was my actual shortcomings in attending as much as I should have. One year later, I am a stronger person. Both mentally, and physically, and my spirit has begun healing from years of pain.
Workouts certainly are, on the surface, tools to make your physical body stronger, and more healthy. But, I cannot put into words the type of healing they can do on your own mental health. If you're struggling with weight, mobility, flexibility, stamina, or physical health issues. Seek out Impressive Fitness and enroll immediately. If you are struggling with self image, and mental health, enroll even quicker if possible. It will not be easy. Coach Ed never claims that it will be. But it will be so worth it. And you deserve it. I cannot thank Impressive Fitness enough for the positive change they have made in my life.

I've really enjoyed working out with Ed. He has been my personal trainer for over 5 years. He is so encouraging! My one on one sessions are very personalized, taking into account my physical conditions but also getting me out of my comfort zone in order to gain more confidence and strength with my body. He designs every session with my goals in mind and my body has become stronger and leaner since working out with him. I always look forward to my sessions with him.

I can't say enough about the amount of knowledge Ed has when it comes to not only fitness, but also nutrition and overall health. My body has completely transformed and I am probably in the best shape of my life. He is patient and makes everyone feel like they have a personal trainer every day with tailored plans as needed. It is by far the best place i have ever worked out, and you learn a ton about your body & how nutrition plays just as big of a role in everything. More than just getting in shape, I have learned so much about what actually being healthy means...and deprivation is not what healthy is or what he teaches!
Moving to a new state almost 5 years ago away from family and friends was hard, but in this gym I found more than just a great trainer, motivator, & endless knowledge of overall fitness...I found a gym family!

I have been going to Impressive Fitness for almost 4 years now. The workouts are very challenging and actually make you stronger but can always be modified per your strength level or injuries. Ed is very attentive of your workout form to ensure that no one gets injured and works with everyone on their fitness goals. This gym is genuine and I feel like I have a family here!

Dont even know where to start, having to get up early in the mornings was just as hard for me as to begin with. Day 1 of this 6 week challenge killed me, yes it was just day 1 but man it kicked my butt! Thinking to myself what am I even doing here made me want to give up but seeing all these instagram models I was like nope im going to continue to push through. Week 1 so went by and I couldng believe I had survived. Coming to the gym wasnt the hardest part after all but eating healthy was. I never in my life imagined eating the way I was such a sacrifice to say no to fried everything! Week 2 and week 3 soon went by and I was at wow with myself, how did I manage to push through was all I could say to myself. Seeing a small difference every week or so made me realize wow I could have done this from the first to even start with, but luckly I soon found my hapoy place which was being here either morning or day. I got addicted and still I am I wish to continue and keep going see myself where I never imaged to be. All I can say is thank you, thank you for killing me killing us and for your time, your dedication to push us through it all. Im happier then expected to be, seeing myself drop a pd even 2 pounds was just a wow!!! "She knew she could so she did" exactly how I feel!

In September of this year I turned 31 and I started to think about how out of shape I was .I started to think about my wife Roni and how she had been working out at impressive fitness for almost 3 years and the results she's had. I had never put much thought into how hard she worked out even though a good while back I tried a couple of classes. But being a man I let my pride get the best of me and I didnt think I needed anyone's help getting into shape so I never returned until my 31rst birthday . This day was a real turning point for me. I made a commitment to myself not to give up this time. In this short period from then till now the changes in my physical appearance are now becoming noticeable. I've had a bad pain in one knee for years that I just realized isn't there anymore and even better I've lost about 11 pounds. Motivated now more than ever Impressive Fitness and training with Ed are now a permanent part of my weekly routine.

So, just a few words about how I ended up at Impressive Fitness and what it's done for me. It took a little while for my cousin to talk me into trying out a workout but I showed up on a Saturday morning, I think. I regretted going afterwards because I could barely walk to the truck to go home. I thought surely my cousin hates me because she paid a month membership for me before I wobbled to the truck. Well, I'm not big on wasting people’s money so I knew whether I wanted to be tortured like that again or not, I had no choice. It gets worse. I worked evenings so that meant the only time I was able to go was at 5:15am. So for that month, I literally rolled myself off the bed to get up and it took everything in me to make it there. My only thoughts were, “Who the hell does this? Who wakes up at this time for anything, much less, to go exercise?” But I did it. I survived a whole month then a funny thing happened; I paid for the next month. I kept paying month after month and it became a hard habit to break. That was 3 years ago. It was not easy at all, I cussed, wanted to cry, got mad and wanted to quit. But working out with someone like Sherry has a bigger impact than she probably knows. Now, what has it done for me? Well, I was right at 198 pounds when I started but in my head that wasn't a big problem. I didn't think I was too big and I wasn't completely unhappy with myself. But at 33 I had aches and pains standing, sitting, walking and just laying around. Now 3 years later I still have aches and pains doing all those things only now it’s mostly because I've been sore for 3 years from Ed’s “hurt-so-good” workouts. I don't have an amazing story about conquering goals and losing a tremendous amount of weight in a short period of time like a lot of people do but I do have my own success story. I have been successful in continuing this wonderful lifestyle. I've been successful in gaining the best trainer in the United States of America (and you can't tell me any different.) I've been successful in gaining the best support group in United States of America too. I've been successful in slowly, very slowly, losing 26 pounds and keeping it off. That's because I don't always listen to Ed and I've never changed what I eat because I happen to love the food I eat so that may never change. I've been successful in going from a size 16 in jeans to a size 10!!! Most of all, I've been successful in being proud of myself for doing all the things I can do now that I definitely could not do 3 years ago. So, all in all, I've had lots of great gains from something I never thought I'd continue after that 1st month was over. Now I can't imagine Impressive Fitness not being a part of my permanent schedule. It has really changed my life for the better and has given me a confidence that I always thought I had but really didn't.
So, THANK YOU ED FOR DOING WHAT YOU DO AND FOR PUSHING ME TO DO THE THINGS I NEVER COULD AND FOR TRULY CARING ABOUT MY HEALTH MORE THAN I DID, BUT MOSTLY FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME DURING YOUR TORTUROUS WORKOUTS!
