I went to a strtch studio in fort worth and it messed up my hips. It was so painful to sit, lie down and move. I thought it would be nice someone else stretching you. I was being lazy. I have realized that one has to take control of one's own health. Since I have done yoga, my hips have become better and I am reducing my pain medication. Do not go to any stretch studios. Stick with yoga, martials arts or go to a professional like an osteopath.

I've really enjoyed the 30 day trial month, and would love to purchase a package of 10 to 20 classes to use at will. Unfortunately, I'm unable to add another monthly membership to my budget and this would supplement my other routine. Due to that, ill have to find another studio that I can attend 4 to 8x per month, but I'm not happy about it! Haha! I hope this option becomes available, as its a great studio (members and instructors). Showers are clean and accessible, Water stations offer cold filtered water, facility is great! Options for towel and yoga mat service available in tiered membership.

I signed up for this studio a couple weeks ago and it has been nothing short of amazing. I was greeted by Adrienne, she signed me up, and even followed up with me after my first class. The studio is very clean. At the end of every class, an associate or instructor will give you a cold towel to wipe yourself down. Every instructor is different but I love how every class, you can go at your own pace and no one judges you.

The TL;DR version of this review can basically be summed up as this: if you are a fan of Baptiste yoga taught by great teachers in a heated environment, Indigo is the studio for you.

Why did I choose Indigo? Well after a three-year hiatus from an active practice I decided to get back on my mat. My previous studio had closed during the pandemic and my favorite teacher in Fort Worth - Rebecca Emery - had moved over to Indigo once things opened back up. This was reason enough for me to give Indigo a try, so in the fall of last year I took advantage of their offer of a free class for prospective new members and I am so glad that I did.

Rebecca’s classes were even better than I had remembered, but what really surprised me was the quality of the other teachers and their classes. Jen V’s Saturday 75-minute All Levels is a real test of endurance, strength, and breath. I can think of no better way to wrap up the week and drop into the weekend.

And while every teacher at Indigo brings their own special gifts to the classes that they teach, I would be unforgivably remiss if I didn’t single out Caron Davies, specifically. Caron shines brilliantly all while being surrounded by diamonds. Her Slow Flow class is hands down the best yoga class being offered in Fort Worth. Full stop.

Each class that Caron teaches is unique and creative, and the extra time provided by the format allows you to truly explore each pose and your own body in ways not possible in a vinyasa practice. If Caron’s Slow Flow class was only offered once a week it would be worth the price of a full membership; it’s that good. What I would give for it to be on the schedule every day for 90 minutes! A man can dream…

I could go on and on about the classes and the teachers but before I wrap up this novel I should also acknowledge how great the front desk staff is at making Indigo such a welcoming space. The two Grahams, Adrienne, Micah, Noah, Minde, and Kiersten are true assets to the overarching Indigo community. As much as I look forward to getting on my mat, one of the highlights of my day is getting to spin yarn with the front desk crew before and after class. Some of my favorite and most insightful conversations have taken place in the lobby while stuffing my face with York Peppermint Patties (a nice touch, BTW).

Immaculately clean and stocked with everything one might need to dust off an old practice or begin a new one, Indigo is a special place made all the more special by the people who work there. Love this place.

This studio is home. Friendly staff, clean facilities, mindfully curated flows. No one takes themselves too seriously here but they are serious about inclusivity and accessibility. The all levels classes are HOT and the music and flow classes are my favorite when they feature an artist I like. I love Indigo.

Quality yoga studio with talented and helpful instructors, with a caveat.

TLDR. My partner and I cancelled our joint account in January, have not been to the studio since December, were billed for a membership, and denied reimbursement when requested following a clerical error on the studio's end. Emotionally, this makes me feel really disappointed. This is the opposite of "Namaste."

My partner and I signed up together under one account during a promotional event. I signed both of us up under my name and billing information. This caused a little confusion at first for class check-ins but things were seemingly were worked out. In January I suspended our memberships, likely temporarily, due to life circumstances and we hadn't been back since. I immediately started receiving promotional "please come back emails", totally fine. However, last week when I looked at my credit card statements, I noticed monthly membership charges. Thinking it was a mix up, I went to the studio to ask about it. Someone who I truly respected, said because my partner had never cancelled her account as well (our shared account tied to my billing information), these charges would not be reimbursed. I understand this is a business, but I am shocked that this establishment would do something like this. It makes the sting worse.

My goodness, this place is doing great things. I've never seen a business this community- oriented. We (mother/son combo) dropped in for some spontaneous Yoga. They got us into a wonderful class with all the props. Our pocketbook was not strained at all. These people need recognition for the work they are doing for ALL demographics
They are also taking donations for their wonderful community outreach. Please try these folks, they're worth the drive!!

I really like this place and recommend it.

I like how most classes follow a similar flow without music, although classes with music are offered to.

Usually the studio is at a great temperature, although I’ll note that it can’t get really hot when the studio is packed. It’s not that often this happened since the studio space is quite large.

I feel like they cater to people of all walks and practices and the front desk sincerely
make an effort to learn people’s names.

Guys support this business!!! The people are genuinely amazing and they give back to the community. I recently attended an out patient treatment facility here in Ft. Worth and this company comes on Fridays to introduce Yoga to the community. They don’t stop there either because upon completion of the program they offer a one year scholarship to attend all classes completely free. Yoga has been such a monumental piece to my recovery and I’d never known about it if this company had not been committed to sharing Yoga with the world. They are not here only to make money but they genuinely care and want to benefit the community. God bless these guys!

Today (12/27/21) was my first class at the studio. I purchased a single day pass to try. Before today I had taken a class here or there over the years, but never settled into a practice. It was so calming and welcoming to walk in and be greeted by name with a smile. My instructor came and introduced herself and gave me some do’s to help me through class, and when I struggled she assisted. It was a very different feeling from other classes I have taken. The energy felt safe. As soon as I got home I purchased my membership. I can’t wait to deepen my practice here.

I moved to FW last year from East TX during the start of the Pandemic. After such troubling times, I’ve found my yoga home! Yama Yoga in Canton (check it out too!) built me, & I’ve never found a place that compares. I’m so happy to have finally found a new community in my new home town. The heat is perfect & so detoxifying. I love how often I can squeeze virtual classes in at work when I have cancellations, or when I just can’t get up early enough! I also love how many people I get to practice with. Finally dudes in a yoga class! East TX boys wouldn’t dare. I highly recommend this yoga studio to all levels.

I had an opportunity to spend the afternoon relaxing, and decided to try a yoga class here on Sunday afternoon. This class was incredible!

The instructor was very intuitive when pacing the class for all levels. I happened to decide to visit on a day the community were celebrating. To celebrate this day, the instructor led us to perform 68 Sun Salutations in an hour, including warm up and cool down. I was challenged by this class, I sweat, and I left feeling fabulous, not only by the exercise but by the warmth of the people here. I will be returning to experience a daily class this week. Wonderful studio for the typical yogi, but not so great for beginners. It is always nice and clean and they have wonderful instructors. Everyone is really friendly and are eager to respond to questions. They offer many more classes than any other studio in Fort Worth for the same price. They do not show you the poses, instead they have an instructor call out the poses. Sometimes they have a few instructors helping out in the really large classes. Also, be prepared for lots of down dogs and chaturangas - I would gestimate that most classes to these poses for the first 15 to 25 minutes.
