This gym is beyond amazing! I started going before I had my youngest and the staff have always been phenomenal! The owner and his wife, I feel they have a very personable relationship with myself and others. Now after having my youngest! It’s been my escape! Having two hour alone time knowing my little is being taken care of has been incredible. The staff have been very helpful in my postpartum journey!

Decent gym for senior citizens and powerlifters.
35-lb barbells and 5-lb plastic training plates would be nice to have, as well as Abmats and 20 - 50 lb slam balls out on the floor.
Also, would recommend enforcing a dress code for both males and females, and no longer allowing patrons to virtually strip down to their underwear in the aerobics studio for posing - this understandably makes people uncomfortable.
Finally, please list the distance of your sled track on your website - or ensure your employees are given the information.

I was deceived & tricked with their 30 day’s non expiring guess pass scam. I paid around $70 dollars for a 30 day’s guess pass non expiring.

I’m not always in town so i needed to pay for a guess pass when I am in town and when I need to use the gym.

I only used the gym for 3 days and I returned after two months thinking I have a guess pass that’s good and I don’t have to pay.

Oh boy I was so wrong I was so deceived, when I returned they told me my guess pass had expired.

And I need to pay for another guess pass.

After explaining myself to the manager she gave me a 5 days guess pass for free.

But In know I was deliberately tricked in singing up for a guess pass that was not in the arrangement.

I’ve been attending iron works for 3 years since the last owners originally bought it well since then the new owners have changed up the place a bit. I do not care for the fact that they moved a section of the weights by the front desk and put them in the old cycle room and put bench presses there instead I hope they’re not trying to turn this gym into a powerlifting gym only those machines were just fine where they were in the first place. Another thing I do not care for is girls walking around in very light coverage sports bras the old owners didn’t let people walk around in sports bras it’s tacky they were ok with shorts they just don’t wanna see your kid drifts and one last thing the people who work there always look really mad and don’t feel very welcoming most of the time maybe a smile here and there to people would make somebody’s day better.

In town for law enforcement leadership training, gym was recommended. Got a 14 day pass along with another participant. Operational hours were great allowing for early morning access before class. Facilities were phenomenal and very clean. There was a large women only area, along with everything else that you could want or need including classes, basketball court, sauna, outdoor pool, cycling, and childcare hours. If this gym was in my city, it would be my go-to. Staff responsive and friendly.

I’ve been working out for over ten years and I haven’t been more impressed with a gym. They’re always improving and their offerings are that of a gym three or four times the monthly costs. Just remember you’re in a college town and avoid the 6-9 rush hour and you won’t ever have problems.

I just got off the phone with my insurance, they told me iron works health club in Huntsville Texas takes my insurance and even gave me a membership code number. When I got here today they told me I must be 65 and older in order for them to take my insurance that pays them. That is discrimination because there's other people in here that are under 49!

I really like how this gym offers students semester based contracts instead of the traditional monthly payments or 12 month contracts. This gym is quite large and has a lot of fairly new equipment. Hours of operation are decent. My only complaint is that there's hardly any phone reception.

Great gym with a lots of equipment! I love that they even had a private room for women to work out that always had available stations. The sauna is an amazing place to chill after a long work out. Unfortunately I had to stop going at the start of the pandemic due to moving out of town. They were able to cancel my membership early with no hassle or excessive fee. I really miss being able to go to this gym and recommend it to anyone!

Love my gym! The monthly rate is average. The only thing I would change, is I wish they included the locker rate in with the monthly rate. They have an area for women only, great classes like yoga and bootcamp, a heated pool, sauna, tanning bed, and plenty of machines. Everything is very clean, and members are encouraged to clean the machines after using them. The staff and members are friendly and very helpful.

When I see the few negative comments I just laugh. I’ve been going to iron works for almost a year with none of those problems. The employees are superstars!!! They are funny, interactive, and welcome you at the door. I like the environment. It is not like most gyms. I am a powerlifter on the Shsu team, so when im not at practice I’m at iron works and I can’t tell the difference. I love how they play music, just in case your forget your headphones one day. They also allow chalk, “slamming weights”, and the occasional yell after you hit a PR. Along with that the have a pool, sauna, and indoor basketball court with the best attraction being the indoor “turf” field. The free weighs and machines are great. With the machine telling the new people how to use it, and the free weigt section for those more advanced. So overall ironworks is the best gym I’ve been too since I’ve been out of high school. 5/5 would recommend. Keep up the good work!

This is a nice gym. If you show up for an evening class, you might have to park next door at Dollar General because the parking lot gets a little crazy. Employees are nice and the facilities are clean. I love coming here regularly for yoga class with Liz, she is an awesome instructor! I wish there were more yoga classes scheduled in the evenings, but I LOVE that you can get a class pass for only $5.00 + tax, and you don't even have to be a member to take the classes. I love coming here!

I really wish they had a hot tub or indoor pool. Don’t like that you can’t swim during classes, even when in another in used lane. Classes seem to be at prime time when you would wanna go swimming. Five stars though because I love the staff friendly and helpful. I would like to see more yoga classes, the instructors are amazing! Really great staff overall honestly!
