In the Downtown Austin area of Austin, TX we offer group fitness classes for all levels. Our classes incorporate dance cardio with strength training to sculpt and tone your muscles in the ultimate full – body workout. Whether you’re looking for physical results or a way to relieve stress and FEEL your best, our instructors will guide you every step of the way in your wellness journey!

I bought a class pass expecting to only go once or twice as I thought I needed more of a workout than a dance class. WOW what a pleasant surprise! I've lost weight, built muscle, improved my balance and feel strong and beautiful thanks to Jazzercize! I look forward to every class as it works both my body and my mind. Grateful to have both Austin Rec and Northwest Rec as options for my busy schedule. Wishing I could give them ten stars!

I love Love my Jazzercise!! I've been doing it for decades. I really enjoy how the workouts and music stay current. This is a Total body workout! What I like about ALL of Kate's classes and instructors are the diversity, the amount of classes in multiple sites, and that ALL the instructors are Very Good! Jazzercise is some of the best exercise in the world plus it's fun! Kate is an amazing instructor. She takes the time to know all her students and provides excellent cueing and support no matter what your fitness level. Her whole group of instructors are great too. Jazzercise is a great workout that always keeps you (and your muscles) interested and engaged! Lots of different formats, fun dance moves choreographed to hip, current music. Don’t underestimate a good throwback, too! Kate is the best - savvy business owner who always put her customers needs first. She’s very responsive and very flexible! She pivoted quickly and effectively during the pandemic, making virtual classes available almost immediately. They’re offered in person and recorded, which is great. I have been Jazzercising since high school and I have converted many friends over the years! Come try it out!

I have been doing Jazzercise since the 80s. Kate is one of the best instructors I’ve ever encountered. She is very welcoming and always speaks to every person by their name. She has a great attitude and I like how she talks during the routines. It makes time pass so much faster. Her instructions are precise and her moments easy to watch and follow. I have several friends that have been instructors so I know how much time, effort and work it takes into making a good class. Kate is simply the best. The other instructors are very competent as well.

Do you like being physically fit but get totally bored just exercising or going nowhere on a stationary bike? Me Too!! I have attended Jazzercise for a good number of years and find the easy dance moves a great way to enjoy a work out! The constantly updated songs and new routines keeps it interesting. Jazzercise provides a well designed class of stretching and isolation moves, cardio, and strength keeping you feeling fit and healthy! Love it!

I love the fact that every class will have different routines and music. I am never bored, always get a great workout, and it feels fun— like a dance party with a great group of people instead of a chore. The knowledgeable instructors give clear cues to help you get the most out of the workout and prevent the possibility of injury. I like the fact that as long as I show up and follow instructions, I’ll get a good, effective workout and leave feeling good about my health and strength.

The teachers are friendly and take time to learn your name, plus run a well-choreographed dance mix routine that ensures a workout for every major muscle group. There's a variety of class packages to fit every budget and scheduling need. Definitely a good pick for those working the state capitol area, as there are classes almost every weekday for morning, lunch, and early evening. It was very easy to blend into my daily routine right from the start.

This is a great workout for folks of all ages (my 18 yo college athlete thinks it's hard!), and it can be modified for any fitness level. Kate and her team of instructors are professional, upbeat, and inspiring. I NEVER get bored in these Jazzercise classes. The facility has plenty of parking, and it's centrally located. They offer a ton of classes throughout the week, so you're likely to find classes that suit your schedule. The students in these classes are an eclectic mix of cool Austinites, female and male. If you like to dance and you like a challenging workout, check out the classes at the Rec Center!
