I absolutely love Jazzercise West U! It’s such a great place to work out and have fun. The instructors are truly amazing – they’re so kind, welcoming, and always make everyone feel comfortable. The music is fantastic, and I love how the classes blend different styles like dance, strength training, and stretching. It’s such a great variety of exercises that keeps things interesting and challenging. I really appreciate how they offer low-impact versions of the moves, so there’s something for everyone. The community here is beautiful – everyone is so encouraging and supportive. I always leave feeling energized and happy! Highly recommend!

I love Jazzercise West University! The instructors are amazing. I like to Jazzercise 6 days a week, and I can choose a different instructor every day. It's a pleasure to exercise indoors in Houston to upbeat popular music. I like the flexibility of doing some classes in-person and, on days when I'm busy or the commute is lengthy, I can Jazzercise remotely on my computer.
I'm 76 years old and have been Jazzercising for almost 8 years. I feel like I'm getting a total body workout because it's a mixture of aerobics, strength training, and stretching. At my age, I don't want to fall, so I adjust my workout to be low-impact.
My primary care physician is amazed that I'm so healthy, which I attribute to watching my weight and getting regular exercise. Plus regualr physical activity is something I can do to ward off dementia.

OK, listen up girlfriend because this is the only review you’re ever going to need. It’s time for you to join Jazzercize and this is your sign.
I have been doing Jazzercise off and on since I was 15 years old. And by off and on, I mean, I’ve taken breaks when I’ve lived in places where there isn’t a Jazzercize nearby so I’ve been forced to do Pilates, yoga, Zumba, CrossFit, Spin, you name it. Womp, womp, womp to all of those.
There is absolutely no other workout that is as sustainable and as comprehensive. My body eventually rejects all other workout formats, but Jazzercise has never caused an injury, and I’ve also never gotten bored with it. It keeps my body “Little black dress ready, ” and though I have a terrible diet, I get a clean bill of health every year from the cardiologist, and he and I both know it’s because of Jazzercize. It helps with balance, it’s weight-bearing so it strengthens bones…but above all of these physical benefits, Jazzercize is the only exercise program I know of that I can honestly say is an true energy exchange. The benefits to my mental health are too many to mention. There have been days Ive truly felt it saved my life. West U Jazzercize is friendly, encouraging, non-competitive, safe, and just full of positivity. We are very spoiled at West U Jazzercise with the caliber of our instructors. They are the very best I have ever had.

I really enjoy the Jazzercise program. The music is current and the routines choreographed to the music are fun, but challenging. The studio offers several formats that always incorporate cardio and strength. The studio has a really nice set of hand weights to use, so you can choose the weights that are appropriate for the routine or how you’re feeling. The instructors are great. Lots of entertaining banter all while giving targeted instructions for performing the moves. I’ve worked out at lots of other facilities. This facility is clean and doesn’t smell like a gym. Wipes for cleaning equipment after use are provided. The studio has really nice dance flooring that makes for a really comfortable work out.

Jazzercise is the only fitness program I have stayed with—almost 38 years! Jazzercise West University operates in an amazing facility (West U Rec Center) but due to a full time job, my current facility is my living room. The amount of classes available through streaming fulfills all my exercise needs. I can take a “live” streamed class or take an archived class if that better fits my schedule. It’s the wonderful instructors and the REAL music that keeps me coming back.

Jazzercise at West U is so much fun—you get a great cardio and strength workout while moving and listening to the newest music. I’ve been doing it for years and if you’re consistent, you’re going to see results. I see all levels and ages in my classes, with people doing modified versions of routines and moves. If you’re stronger, jump higher, squat lower, and use heavier weights. This is the location to join— fun and challenging. Love dancing with this crew of energetic instructors!

I always get a great workout and a perfect start to my day at Jazzercise West University. The classes are held in a beautiful space in the West University Recreation Center. I appreciate having flexibility with the schedule of classes in the morning, afternoon and evening, and on weekends. The class instructors are well trained experts, motivating, and most importantly, fun! I love that a Jazzercise workout includes a stretch, cardio, sculpting (weights/resistance) and a final stretch. The workout routines are to the most current music hits, and it seems every week I have a new favorite routine! West U Jazzercise is a friendly welcoming atmosphere, with participants of all ages and all fitness levels. Each participant gets to make the workout their own, deciding how they are feeling that day and how intense or “slow” they want to take it that day! Jazzercise West University is an awesome fitness program.

Jazzercise Groupie! I am a full time working mom. I love the various options, times, classes, styles, music, and teachers that I can fit into my hectic schedule. There is stretching, weight training, resistance opportunities, low or high impact workouts based on how you are feeling all within the same workout.
Don't forget the humor. The instructors keep you entertained while you workout to great music selections. Plenty of variety, plenty of space and plenty of people to meet from all over. We have young college students to seasoned professional Jazzercisers. They did a great job pivoting their business model during Covid- offering online options, streaming playbacks or small in person sessions. If you are new and considering it- you can usually have 1 free session. The wonderful class managers will always make you feel welcome and walk you through.
Overall I feel better when I go and I love the personal and group challenges to push that competitive spirit.
WestU Rec Center is clean, friendly and safe. Plenty of parking and dressing rooms to change clothes.

The class formats are varied and change frequently so your muscles are constantly challenged in different ways. Tried this class online for something to do when covid shut my gym, and I'm still doing this class. Effective and fun exercise whether online or in person, though in person is best. Nice facility and great people -- very welcoming, even to the guys who dare to go. LOL. Streaming quality is good and a great option for those who cannot attend a class at the facility. Banter about sports, movies, music, culture, adult beverages and other topics sprinkled in at no extra charge. Pat and Rodney are great at leading classes as well as leading and teaching the other instructors.
