Being a hockey player requires training on and off the ice. During mid season my son got hurt on the ice, JP helped my son mentally and physically through it learning strength comes with patience and hard work. Teaching my son the importance of healing and stretching so he can play another day. My son not only develop his speed, agility and strength he is becoming a well rounded athlete. My son is getting recruited by junior teams as a direct result of hard work and proper training.

Really appreciate JP’s enthusiasm and trying to work with myself and my fiancé Shelly. Working with us based upon our own physical limits is important when utilizing a personal trainer so you don’t overdo it or under do it!! I would recommend JP and his equipment and facility up off of 380 for others who are interested in possibly pursuing his help and whatever your personal goals might be

JP is fantastic. He helped my wife and I get back on track with our fitness/health goals after having our first child. I met JP about 3 years ago, just recently decided to get in better physical shape. I started on my own but then hired JP to take me further than what I could realize. He was able to quickly identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities that would benefit me. He is able to quickly adapt with different exercises to suit my needs either if I had a previous sport injury or if I was still sore from a previous workout. JP not only with helped strength but with flexibility and agility that most people neglect. He helped increased my mindset with not only how to train but how not to train, which I feel is just as or more important. I have seen the results that I wanted and more. But having the persistence , commitment and a plan is a necessity to obtain the outcome that you want in which JP was a great influence and mentor in that.

I started training with JP back in 2020 when I could barely do 10 pushups and dead lift 100lbs. JP truly cares about his clients and makes sure that he puts a complete workout program together for each individual that he trains. After training with him almost for a year I was doing pushups with weights on my back and deadlifting close to 500lbs. I was in great shape and haven't felt like that since my college days. He has a great facility and can train you for any of your fitness/sports goals that you are wanting to accomplish. He makes sure he puts in the time and effort to make sure you meet your goals and he will do whatever it takes for you to get there. Definitely recommend him for any fitness or sports goals that you are wanting to accomplish!

JP has exceptional communication skills when conveying ideas on how to improve your form. He’s taught me different lifting techniques and styles for what I am wanting to do, diet tips, and even rehab advice. Highly recommend him as a trainer. I have bounced around gyms in the past and I’ve been working out with JP for about 2 years. Each workout pushes you to be better both physically and mentally. JP REALLY knows his stuff and is a great motivator so that you get the max out of each workout. I met JP a little over 2 years ago, when looking for a trainer for my daughter who was 15 and playing softball. Being 6’ and 15, she needed personal training to help her achieve her goals and become a better athlete. JP helped her build her strength and agility while ensuring the proper techniques to help prevent injuries. He is meticulous when it comes to proper form and technique. Most trainers overlook the small details that can lead to injuries, not JP!

After seeing what JP could do for my daughter, I decided to hire JP for my personal training. I had not had any kind of personal training and was very out of shape. I have had multiple back surgeries (including a lumbar 360 fusion L4-L5-S1) and had gained quite a bit of weight. JP tailored the exercises specifically to my needs. The program he designed ensured proper form and steady increases in the amount of weight I was lifting. I could not be happier with the progress I have made. I am able to do things now that I would have never imagined.

I trained with JP for ~2 years and have nothing but the utmost respect for him both professionally/personally. He is very knowledgeable in a variety of areas and can seamlessly accommodate anyone and everyone in whatever fitness goals they may have.

JP is hands down the best trainer that I have ever had!! He didn't have me do generic exercises. He listened and understood what I needed. He helped me train for a tough mudder, having me do creative exercises that were geared to the obstacles that I would face.
There were days that I was too exhausted to train intensely and he adjusted for those times.
He truly understands people and their different struggles.

Where do I start with JP as a person and a trainer. 4 years ago, I was likely in the worst shape of my life. I weighed close to 240 pounds, I couldn’t lift anywhere near what I used, my self-confidence wasn’t at its peak ..... but most of all, I didn’t FEEL good. I had met JP a few years before, and knew some people that trained with him, but resisted for a multitude of reasons (fear, intimidation, shame, desire, money, etc).

Then one day I realized that my mind, body and soul deserved better. I was still hesitant, but eventually reached out to JP and he really helped bridge the gap with a plan that I felt comfortable with. And told me [paraphrasing] “Hey, if you don’t like it or feel that you’re gaining a lot from it, no hard feelings, and it’s not a major commitment”. So I dove in.

I trained with JP for the next three months, and that set the foundation for a change in my entire life. JP is an amazing trainer. He really focuses on proper form and gives you a foundation that you can then build on. He’s all about creating strength and helping you build lasting results. He really works wonders to create simple plans tailored to every shape/size/ability. If you go to one of his weekend boot camps, you see how the brings the most out of every single person. And he makes you feel comfortable in the weights section, that many of us fear. But most of all, he’s an amazing guy, and someone you’re likely going to try and be friends with.

I’m now 175, stronger than ever, and most importantly, happy with how I FEEL. Anytime I even do a simple air squat, I think about the form JP helped me establish. And I got all that, and more (4 years later), after only working with him for 3 months! If you’re hesitating about training with JP, stop right there. Just become a ‘Yes Man/Woman!’ And take a chance. When you train with JP, you’re investing in yourself. Because when you workout with him, you can tell how invested he is in you. I swear you won’t regret it.

I've been a client of JP's for 3 years now. I'm just a fan of fitness and have been working out for well over 20 years now. I was in a rut and got bored of going to the gym. I needed a change of pace. So I decided to give JP a chance. He is the best decision I made for myself that has allowed me to enjoy working out again.

What makes JP a great personal trainer is his dedication to the profession. He is educated and doesn't have you do an exercise for the sake of the exercise. He makes sure you are doing everything correctly so you can get the most out of the exercises. He is knowledgeable enough to keep his clients challenged each session. JP treats each client as an individual, taking the time to communicate what they want to achieve along with any limitations someone may have. He can adapt and modify any exercise to accommodate any restrictions someone may have or any setback that may occur. JP is truthful and transparent with his expertise, experience and training abilities. He is patient, understanding, makes you feel comfortable and is fun to have as a personal trainer. I'm lucky enough to have him as my trainer and anyone who wants the real deal should consider doing the same.

I’ve spent time training with JP for the past few years in a sports group setting. He does an outstanding job customizing workouts designed to help you meet your goal. We focused a ton on agility early in the training regime to get back into shape and minimize injury risk. Once we got further into it he focused on speed, power and technical accuracy. Does a great job tweaking individual exercises so you get the most out of it. I’ve since moved out of state and have plans to continue working out virtually with JP. I highly recommend him!

I have trained with JP for years! It has been such an amazing experience every time. He is truly a master of his craft because he continues to learn about techniques and forms. He will take the time to actually listen and watch your body. If you are doing something that is out of form he will help reset. If there is a notion you just cannot do he finds great alternatives!
