I relocated to Texas in July 2024 and I was looking for boxing gym that has close knit boxing community and after checking out other gyms I saw jungle boxing was near my new work office and I decided to check it out and I have been a member ever since. Jungle boxing is not only the a close knit community, it is a family, everyone holds each other accountable here. If you want to work hard and learn how to fight for real, this is the gym for you , if you just want to do cute pad work like your favorite celebrity, this is not that .

I didn't want to put 1 star since I haven't actually been to the facility and im not here to tell anyone not to go because this is more about the phone etiquette and how it made me feel personally. I called, excited to get information about joining the gym but I guess the coach was the one who answered and was rushing me because he was in the middle of class and I couldn't even get anything I wanted to ask out because everytime I tried to speak he would interrupt to rush me . So I just said don't worry about it ended the call. If you're busy ok cool, it may be better to not answer the phone till your ready. If you were in a rush, there's other ways to handle it. I'm big on first Impressions so it's a no for me but hopefully the next person receives better phone service. The gym seemed great and I truly was excited but I really didn't like that so I'm just gonna move on. But do take care

I'm not a member, I called to get some info on joining the jungle boxing club. Seemed like a nice establishment, however the "coach" or front desk person was very impatient and kept interrupting me every time I tried to speak. I really wanted to support a woman owned business but after reading the recent reviews & experiencing what ever that was on the call it made me reconsider. Perhaps you may like to get a Receptionist so you don't have to juggle phone calls and teaching? Not sure what the rush was but yeah , could have been handled more professionally in my opinion.

I was shocked in the response I received by the owner and “coach” .. the transparency and lack of professionalism could’ve been handled better. I was looking for a new boxing gym for my daughter & I to train at. We just moved to the area and were hoping to find a new boxing gym to be apart of. Since they don’t train females, the coach needs to update their entire mission statement.. It is very misleading & doesn’t make any sense with the response I received. Glad I was turned down as I’m HIGHLY against sexist and would NOT want to represent a gym like such. I should’ve read the reviews before reaching out.🚩
And for context, I have 10+ years of experience in boxing.. I’m disappointed & disgusted.

I enrolled my son here (DC) on June 12th. First conversation with Coach S., I could tell this us a serious establishment, not just for physical fitness, a place for aspiring champions. At week two a conversation with Coach of my sons development. (My son has ADHD, and has been doing this "shadow boxing" at home for a few years, a product of wrong information from a family member.) Coach and I talked respectfully as he could he let me know the lack of attention, and the years of wrong techniques would take time and one on one time. This is something that is not offered now, so Coach let us come at a reduced number of days, as to not take away training from other members. 4 weeks in, Coach informed me respectfully that one on one coaching is a must right now if DC is serious, he also said after he is welcome back any time. Even though the time was not right, Coach still put in time and energy, and gave information to work on at home. I will highly recommend this boxing club to anyone. This is not a gym. Boxers are trained for tournaments and further on into careers. Thank you Coach S. We appreciate you!!

Excellent place to learn the sweet sweet art of boxing. Coach is great and experienced. Takes the time to teach and not just point at a bag and say yeah go ahead and hit this bag and leave you there for 30 mins. Really provides that 1 on 1 feeling even if your in a class setting. My experience with Coach Jungle is nothing short of spectacular i came in at 250 lbs and now 220lbs since I started in September, this is not a baby sitting day care service, this is strictly boxing by a real professional that conducts his business as it should, this is for not the faint at heart you have to want it!!!!!!!! #BINKNATION

The owner of this gym is disrespectful. He had the opportunity of potentially having 5 new members but quickly turned to disrespect. His gym was an open gym from 6pm to 8pm August 18, 2021. We also had a busses card from the owner. None of use but one step one foot in the gym so we could check it out. The owner quickly stood up and told us to step outside. He preceded to verbally say he would fight one of use because one explained there father was a boxer. There are miners in the group that just wanted to check out this boxing gym. The owner proceeded to get in our face and kept saying ill body slam you like I've done lots of small guys before. His students stepped outside to provide assistance if he started a fight. Absolutely disrespectful. He proceeded to call the police for no absolute reason. He tryed to file a trust passing order on us but only one stepped food in side. 0 starts for this place would never recommend.
