Not the best. Not the worst.
I used to go to K2 back when it was owned by the original owner, and I decided to start my 4-5 year old there a couple months ago. Itβs definitely changed, and the quality of what the kids are learning has declined.
This is a good place to take your kids if you just want them to have fun. If youβre looking for real technical skill building I would look elsewhere- my daughter doesnβt break a sweat during class.
I took an extra star off of the rating because the coaches donβt seem to know who should be in what class which is concerning given the all around inattentiveness.

We just had our District level 3 competitions at this gym and it went FLAWLESS, we've been to a couple meets but everything went absolutely smooth! I even ran into the coaches at the parking lot ant told them what a great job they did! These guys are awesome!

We had our District Level 2 and 3 Gymnastics competition here this past weekend and we absolutely loved their facility! It was easy to get to, the staff was welcoming, super cute Tinkerbell theme, and a clean gym and bathrooms. The facility itself was laid out very well so that you could see your child at every apparatus. This was our favorite venue that we competed at all year! We look forward to coming back here next year for competition!!! Thank you K2! ~a happy parent

Coach Edgar is an amazing coach. He really believes in the kids and makes each one feel special. Just being in his class gave my daughter a passion for gymnastics and a drive to work hard. His private lessons were worth every penny. My daughter really improved with his help. He has the most positive attitude. Itβs not just my daughter that feels this way about him. It is every kid he teaches. You can see kids from all ages and different classes saying high to him. They are as excited to see him as he is to see them. They never forget his kindness. Some people were just born to work with kids. Coach Edgar is one of them. K2 is lucky to have him. My daughter Melody was lucky enough to be in 2 of his classes. If you have the chance to put your child in a class with him they will thrive and develop a love for gymnastics.

I recently had the opportunity to experience the services of an amazing coach at K2 (Coach Kelly). The coach's expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication were truly commendable, making the overall experience highly valuable. However, I must express my disappointment with the establishment's cancellation policy, you have to submit a form and schedule it 2 weeks in advance.

Came here for a birthday party today and the whole experience was great. Staff was friendly and personable, it was a stark contrast to a different place we went months ago where they were very rigid with the kids and had too many competing birthday parties. This place was the polar opposite and let the kid roam at their leisure, which I really appreciated. Will definitely recommend to all my friends

Ninja classes were overfilled for young kids. Staff seemed checked out and was allowing kids to climb around in unsafe places ie underneath other kids swinging on bars, rings, etc.
Admin is slow to respond, and doesnβt let parents know classes are being cancelled until day of. Bills always arrive on time, sometimes even after youβve cancelled your membership.
Reply:
Iβve attempted to get in contact about our experience and get some answers to questions like βhow long will my makeups lastβ and βcan I transfer them to another childβ but no one answered me after 3-4 emails to a couple different people. Finally someone got back to me a month later saying that my makeups have now expired.

We absolutely love K2 and what they have to offer for our young kids. The coaches are all very encouraging and make classes fun. My daughter looks forward to going to practice each week and my son is having the best time in Ninja. I do feel like their Ninja program is pretty pricey for what it is but based on their amazing coaches, I'm happy to pay the premium. And I do know they're slightly less expensive than other gyms. Highly recommend!

staff is poorly trained, directors are a joke. They do not follow their own procedures.
One of these people put my son in a room and took a video of my son having a tantrum while pushing his triggers. (Not sure why they did this, they knew he would be upset). My son is a young kid and is still learning. These people are sick and I would consider real professionals before these glorified baby sitters.

We are in our 3rd year with K2. My daughter started at 2 years old and will be going to Kindergarden next year. She has made excellent friends, LOVES going to the gym and playing or getting gymnastics instruction and adores her teachers. K2 is ALWAYS clean, smells good, the staff is extremely friendly, and they truly do care about all of the kids there. You can see the love between the kids and the staff through the excitement and hugs shared between them on a daily basis.
We also used K2 in the past for before/after school care or summer camp. My older kids enjoyed it as well and have come to feel a connection with some of the teachers/coaches there as well. I highly recommend K2 for your child

My daughter attends a different gym and was here yesterday for a skills meet that due to a miscommunication with her coach she had no team and no coach. K2 not only allowed her to compete but included her with their team and the coaches were truly amazing! Coach David made her whole day!! If I lived closer I would switch gyms in a heartbeat after witnessing their class and kindness and professionalism. I can't thank them enough!!

My boys have all attended K2 at some point or another. I generally like how they run their preschool gymnastics program. I like that they are group by age, not on ability. I like how they run the activities at each station. My only complaint is the coaches. A few are very good and really stand out, you'll know them when you see them. Their energy and enthusiasm radiates in their class. You can tell they enjoy what they do and enjoy working with younger kids. The rest of them just don't care and lack the enthusiasm younger kids crave. When they have warm up songs and dances, the mediocre coaches just go through the moves and interact minimally. At the stations they half way explain, sort of watch and dont' really coach the kids. It is noticeable when you get the ones that are just there for a paycheck boost by running the preschool classes. Unfortunately, without specifically asking the front desk (if they even know), you don't know which coach you are signing up for until you are in the class. My youngest had a phenomenal coach, but when he moved up an age group that ended. This is the main reason I finally convinced him to join his brothers at the ninja gym in Willowbrook. The coaches there really energize the kids and pay attention.

The staff was very friendly and informative and my girls had a blast during their trial class. I especially loved that they had the kids doing things to increase their skill levels instead of just letting them play around like at other facilities we have used in the past. I am excited to see their skills grow as they continue with their classes!

My daughter is 2 and absolutely LOVES going to her gymnastics class. She is always trying to come home and teach everyone what she's learned. She also loves her coach Stevie. I'm excited for her and truly appreciate the staff here for being pleasant, flexible and caring. They even sent her a little postcard to say she was doing a good job. Thanks K2.

We had our son's birthday party at K2 today and everything was perfect! From the time we booked the party, to the time it was over today, we were kept well informed through the whole process. We received confirmation emails, phone calls, etc. The staff and coaches that ran the party were excellent! They did all the set up and clean up for us, kept the kids entertained in the gym area with games and free play, kept the party moving along at a good pace and everything ran smoothly! The facility was clean and all at a very affordable rate! I would DEFINITELY book a party again at K2! It could not have gone any better!

At the beginning I was pretty excited , then I started to notice that they change the trainers a lot in few months my child group changed 3 coaches . Most of them and not very good, they don't really keep eye on kids,in fact mine got hurt not severely thx God. Real coaches are exclusively for much higher levels and are maybe 3 ppl. There is dust everywhere .When I call the front desk most of the times they just hung up the phone call without a goodbye, RUDE.

Very nice facility, love how this place is made for kids only and it has a very nice set up! The office staff are all very nice. My only complaint is safety. I do not feel comfortable AT ALL leaving my daughter here and coming back to get her which is very disappointing. The coaches release the kids once the session is over and the kids leave the gym area and it would be incredibly easy for someone to grab your child and take them. I feel this really needs to change, there needs to be a better check out system in place for release. Other than this, it's a nice place and the kids have a great time.

Great staff, my daughter LOVES it there. She learns and has fun. Academic and physical activities well balanced. Very worth it. Just wished I would have tried this place when my daughter was younger. She started kinder this school year and misses Mrs. Lisa and Mrs Nicole pre-k teacher. Before K2 we tried Kids R Kids and Learn and Play.

The safety of children were not took into consideration when leaving side gate open with small children on playground that can dart into traffic at any time this case should have been guarded and safe for children that their parents leave their loved ones there for your care safety or to come first

Our girls, ages 3 and 4, attend the preschool and gymnastics classes at K2. We've been there for a few months now and absolutely love it. We are always impressed with their cleanliness. Our girls are always very excited to go and sometimes don't want to leave.
The pre-school program does a lot of academics during the day, especially during the school year. They learn all of the typical pre-school age requirements (number, letter, color recognition & counting for younger children and letter sounds, basic reading, basic addition, etc for 4-5 year olds). They do a lot of hands-on, pre-school appropriate science experiments and art activities. They have open play in the gym during part of their pre-school time, which is their favorite part, and they also get time outside.
Another huge plus is K2's flexible hours. My husband and I work off-schedules and we are able to use the days of the week and times we need without issue. This was one problem we had with other pre-schools we looked at.
Their gymnastics program is also awesome. Our 3 year old is in the recreational class for her age and loves it--very fun, hands on, and playful, but all while learning gymnastics skills. Our 4 year old is more serious about gymnastics and is in the pre-team program twice a week, which is much more focused and less fun & games than the recreational program, but she can't wait to go every week. Since she's been going, we can hardly go anywhere without her trying to do cartwheels and handstands. Overall I would highly recommend K2 for both gymnastics and pre-school.

My daughter (8years old) has been going to K2 for a year and we both love it! She is learning gymnastics at a good pace but without pushy coaches. She is always excited when I sign her up for the many extras they have, and I always know she is well taken care of at K2. I love the new building and the ability to watch her practice each week from the upstairs viewing area. They really thought of parents and children when they built it!

My daughter loves Mondays because they are gymnastics days! She started at 5 years old, never having been signed up for any activity. My daughter began at K2 for basic gymnastics. The staff at K2 has helped her grow her love of gymnastics and is now on the team. She also is a part of the after school program. This program is great. I never worry about her after school and am so pleased that she usually has her homework done before I pick her up!

Our youngest daughter couldnβt find an activity that she really liked so we enrolled her in K2 for the recreational gymnastics. The coaches were very supportive and made it fun, so much so that she really took to gymnastics and was invited to join the competitive team. She was a bit apprehensive at first but it has been a tremendous experience and she now just LOVES it. Not only is it great exercise but it exposes her to competitive sports and she has shown a level of commitment that we never could have imagined (we have a house full of gymnastics equipment to prove it now). We have also seen her gain significant confidence in herself and even an elevated self-esteem, which is directly attributed to her and what K2 has done for her. We allow her to do as much as she wants and do not push her at all, so regardless of how long she sticks with gymnastics, which we are guessing this will be the rest of her childhood and teen years, we are confident that we will look back at K2 and this experience in her childhood and know that it contributed favorably to her future successes in life.

I thought this was a great place, my kids have been there for a couple years, UNTIL I happened to be late one day and witnessed a coach VIOLENTLY SLAM a little 2 year old into time out on the playground. She was alone with her class and didn t know she was being watched. I immediately went in and complained and K2 sided with the COACH saying the CHILD was a problem and was aggressive. You do NOT discipline aggression WITH aggression! K2 should have fired that coach on the spot but decided to keep her anyway. I pulled my 3 kids out of their program immediately and warned my friends via Facebook. Kay the owner caught wind of my post after friends of mine also pulled their kids from the program and then proceeded to CALL MY FRIENDS ON MY FACEBOOK FRIEND LIST to tell them I was a liar! Apparently policies have been changed there after this incident ( funny they changed anything since I supposedly lied ) but thats not enough! Unbelieveably unprofessional and willing to retain abusive coaches. Kay the owner clearly does not care about the safety of the children in her care, she cares about tuition $$! Parents Beware!

My kids love K2. They enjoy the friends that they have made there, and have excellent teachers. The owner is very approachable, and has gone out of her way to talk to my wife and I, making us feel at home every time we are there. We have never had a problem in the 1.5+ years since we first started at K2
