11/11/2025 unfortunately the opening delay has caused me to move gyms and most probably will cancel. They’re not charging during the closure but no sense in still having the membership can’t do anything with it. What was expected to be a quick 2 week change has now turned into months. Though I understand this is not a planned disadvantage from the business, it will cause many ppl to look elsewhere (I did myself.) hopefully there is no cancellation charge as a courtesy of members not seeing such a monthly delay and being able to freely choose to move on

Just joined gym and absaloutely love it. All staff is friendly and helpful. The vibe there is amazing, every person is respectful and shares equipment on peak hours. Even so there’s enough equipment to keep your workout going. Everyone in there is there to put in work so don’t have typical group of 3-4 high schoolers hogging machines like other popular gyms. I cancelled my fitness connection and la and best move I’ve made. Hidden gem of Missouri city!

Extremely disappointed with this gym during their closure.

Originally members were told in August the gym would be only closed for about a week on August 29th and reopen September 8th as supposedly all was needed was to move the equipment and wait for a final walkthrough.

Beginning of September the Owner sent another email indicating reopening had been delayed due to needing various permits and inspections.

Then later in September another update was emailed again with very vaguely worded summary about needing to renovate and design the new location which completely contradicted previous emails about just needing a final walkthrough.

I asked immediately after what the new reopening date would be then and did get a response from the owner that they planned to reopen sometime in the last part of October or the beginning of November.

However since then (now Month 3 of what was originally only a one week closure) there has been no further updates from the gym despite being past the date range they previously gave and multiple messages for an update and also how they would compensate members that had prepaid (which is required of the gym by state law to offer an equivalent gym access during closure or compensate for the remaining months if unable to) have gone ignored.

Really sad about this since when the gym was open, the facilities themselves and the members there were all great.

I joined Kinetix Fitness in Jan 2025 as it was walking distance from my home residence. The gym has friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere of members looking to come in, work out, and go on with their daily activities. My membership was going great up until a recent unexpected note in August 2025 that the gym’s lease had ended and would need to move a location further away. Their initial email notice on August 8th at 325pm CST was clear and transparent, but the follow-up to members was not clear and timely as expected.

I sent a follow up email on September 3rd, 2025, to find out when the new location will be open as we did not get an update since August 8th, 2025. I got a reply on September 6th, 2025, advising that they will not make the September 8th, 2025, target date and it would be extended due to a reassessment review from the fire marshal.

The same day, September 6th, 2025, Kinetix sent a note to all members with the update plus charging September membership. At first, I understood the reasoning for the delay, but I did not agree that Kinetix would charge members for the month of September since the facility is still closed and provided no supplement to members that did not have access to a gym.

After careful consideration, I decided to cancel my membership and request my September charge be refunded/prorated since they charged my account for a facility that is not operable. I am not sure when they will be open, but as of right now the gym is still temporarily closed on November 3rd 2025.

It is unfortunate that the gym had to move and have a temporary closure, but I do not agree with charging memberships in September when the gym is closed. I would have appreciated not charging members accounts till facility is back up and running since they closed at the end of August 2025.

My account has been cancelled, but now I am requesting my September charge be refunded and awaiting a reply. Neal advised on September 19th, 2025, that the request has been submitted and it may take a billing cycle to my account. Another follow up was provided by Neal on October 16th, 2025, to resolve after multiple emails, and still now no refund has been provided.

I am sure I am not the only one that is dealing with these unfortunate issues, but I wanted to share my review/experience to those that may be thinking about joining Kinetix in the future. I do not recommend this gym as there are cheaper and much better options in the area.

As usual, I was cheerfully greeted by Kamron, the young man who works the front desk. I worked out for over an hour uninterrupted in a clean facility to the beat of trendy music that kept me motivated. The staff and gym members are always friendly, and the fitness center is well-equipped. It's a great alternative to "alpha world, lifetime, and planet fit."

This is a great gym for both casual and expert fitness levels. There is an amazing array of workout equipment and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. They make improvements pretty constantly, and there are also different classes you can take For free as part of your membership. I highly recommend this gym.

Love this gym. I’ve only been twice so far, but the staff is so helpful and kind. They worked with me to find the best membership that would suit me and my family. The gym itself is HUGE and there’s so much equipment that I’ve never had an issue waiting to use anything. Tons of different machines, free weights and benches.

When I was initially looking for a gym, I was also looking for a gym that could provide child care. I have an autistic son so finding a gym with good child care was a top priority. I was nervous about dropping him off at the kids club, but the workers there were very professional and reassuring. I will say that if you do have a child who elopes, there is not a gate between the desk and the door out of the kids club, BUT the worker sat in front of the exit the entire time which calmed my nerves. After informing them that my child was autistic, they listened to all my concerns and took great care of him!

For all that you get with an adult membership this is by far the BEST deal you can get in the area! Very very happy to be a member here!

I've been to several gyms, but this gym is different. It's for serious people who are really looking to get results. They have great equipments, and have professional trainers who are serious. Great place to work out. Has all the gym equipment you need to stay and keep fit. Has a bag area for my Muay Thai workouts. Great place for boxing and kick boxing workouts as well. Has both dry sauna, and an infrared sauna. This gym facility also includes an area for massages and has many workout instructors. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a gym to call home.

10 outta 10, Highly recommend. Great vibe among members. The owners and staff are super cool! Non intimidating gym for serious fitness fanatics. Covered in part by alot of insurances. I love this gym as it has most the of the things I like which is all the machines, clean bathrooms, not too crowded (a big one for me), nice greeters, starting to offer a few classes (I do the yoga), sports drink/food. Nice size gym that even have a boxing ring in the center of the gym (really cool). I’ve only seen someone In there once training but it was cool all the same!

I am new to this gym & just signed up. I read some of the reviews but I am also a business owner so I appreciate when a business owner takes their BUSINESS serious. This gym is amazing. I guested at a few gyms before I signed up. YMCA had dated and unkept machines. Planet fitness has cheap & wobbly ellipticals which I hate because I love to use this specific machine.

Appreciate when a owner just doesn’t let people run AMOK. That’s how businesses FAIL. I love the atmosphere and how it’s not super crowded. Enough space to do your own thing. Luckily I know as a business owner to read reviews & try to grasp what the reviewer is truly saying Vs how a business should be ran & regulated. Keep regulating because businesses last when managed properly. Very clean & positive atmosphere & im glad I gave you a chance. I also got a great discount through my employers Active & Fit program, so check your benefits. My monthly premium is $28 & i actuality think it’s worth more than that. Truly

I love Kinetic. It's even pretty far far my home but I still choose it over more proemic gyms. It's clean, spacious, lots of equipment , and it's never packed or competing for machines during peak hours. I def recommend it. At Kinetix, you’re always greeted at checkin. All of the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Although I view this as a “guy’s gym,” I never feel out of place. Both young and older feel welcome. My trainer (best trainer ever!!!), Travis, is impressively knowledgeable and tailors every session to my goals and level. The only thing I’d suggest is a locker room remodel, but that’s just cosmetic.

Nice environment but i am giving 2 stars because a couple of months ago i asked to an employee i do not wanna renew my 6 months membership i wanna cancel it, should i fill up any cancellation form or is it gonne be cancelled automatically? And he told me you do not need to fill up or do anything since it is gonna be cancelled automatically. But today i have learnt that i should fill the cancellation form up at least one month ago and i am gonna be charged one more month because of this.

I have been attending this gym close to 3 months now and my experience has been fantastic. The atmosphere feels as a place that is non-threatening and judgmental, not a lot of cameras or tripods, and people seem to be minding their own business.
