I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with Klub Fitness was bad enough that I feel like people should be aware.
One of the employees created an account for me without my authorization, because my payment information was stored on my guest profile, even though I already had a membership through a friend. After that, I spent weeks trying to get the issue fixed, canceled, and refunded. Every time I went in, the staff told me to “come back when the manager is here,” and every time I came on the exact days they gave me, the manager/owner was nowhere to be found.
At one point, a tall guy working there claimed to be just a shift lead and said he couldn’t help me — later I found out he’s actually the owner. That level of dishonesty alone says a lot about how this place is run.
Several employees were rude during the process, especially the large black guy who used to work there (around 2023/2024) My girlfriend also mentioned he acted creepy toward her and other women, which made her uncomfortable coming in.
The sad part is I actually liked the gym itself at first. But the unprofessional management, constant runaround, and complete lack of customer care ruined the entire experience. To this day I never was refunded and the account has racked up to over $1,000 debt.

This Gym does not care about the safety or welfare of the children in the daycare. Every time I go back there the worker is on her phone and not paying attention. My child has hurt himself multiple times since he has been there to include falling in the toilet. Mind you my child is 1 years old!!! He should not be anywhere near the toilet or in the bathroom. We have told the manager multiple times about the workers in the day care and they always roll their eyes and never do anything about it.

All other clubs have a online canceling option this club is living in the stone age need to catch up to technology and canceling options. Used to be a good place to go to the Gym until this tall guy in golfing gear started working there. I had used the bench press and swapped out the weights. Went on to use other equipment and the tall guy in the golfing cloths comes and tells me I need to go back the the bench and return the plates to the stacks. I do that and return to the machine I was using. He then walks back over and tells me to come with him. I walked half way and notice he is walking towards the plates. He starts pointing at the rack telling me all the weights need to be put with the right numbers. I was not about to fix a whole rack seeing how it was already like that. I walked away and returned back to the machine I was on. He walked back over and stood there looking at me with a mad look on his face. He then said I need you to come over so I can show you. I told him I could see it from where I was at. I told him I already took off the weights like he requested. He then tells me it's not his job to put the weights back. I told him, i already put them back. He told me to leave. I did, no argument, I was pretty much done anyway. I find out I was banned after attempting to return. I called and asked for the GM name and was told by the girl who answered that they couldn't give out the name of the GM. Why not? Why are they hiding their names? This place is ridiculous. Why are they hiding the name of who is actually in charge of the Gym? This guy in holding gear is very petty. I would look at other places before signing up here.

I actually enjoy going here people and staff there are really nice people the only problem I have is that I go and pay $55 a month and when I go to the basketball court every day and I see that there’s no Nets in there and it’s very dirty with all those water bottles on the floor from the last night. I understand that you get busy and don’t have time to clean but the basketball hoops I feel like yeah I should have a note Dunk policy for people that can’t actually be dunk Because he gets annoying that I’m paying $55 a month and I go to a basketball court and it doesn’t have any hoops. I really like working out here, but the lack of communication with this staff has me wanting to leave this gym. No notification when kids club will be closed you just show up and if they are closed oh well. No notification that they now instead of being open 7 days a week morning and afternoon, kids club will only operate from 9am-1pm on the weekends when it used to be 8am-1 and 330-8.

This club is trash. First they tried to say I owed them 1200 dollars for not canceling for 3 years even tho I never went a single time in that period. Then they said I was permanently banned and wouldn't tell me why. I have been going to that club for 25 years. Every since they bought it from 24 hour fitness the place has gone to hell. My car was broken into in their parking lot and my laptop was robbed. My cell phone was stolen from a locker I left it in for 5 minutes. Don't sign up they are nothing thieves and bad people that work there. Especially the tall white guy. He got in my face for no reason. Piece of trash.

My car was broken into at Klub Fitness in Fairmont. This incident is unfortunate and incredibly frustrating, especially since I typically notice a strong police presence in the area. I had assumed this was due to their commitment to security, particularly given that many younger individuals frequent the gym. Now that I have been personally affected, I am starting to believe that this location may have been a hotspot for crime all along. The general manager has refused to waive my cancellation fee or even offer a discount. I have only been attending this gym since October, and this incident has already occurred. Law enforcement informed me that crime happens everywhere, but this is one of the gyms where I often see police officers. I feel blindsided and ignored after what happened to me. Despite the fact that crime occurs everywhere, I feel overlooked as I am being forced to pay a $110 cancellation fee, even though the gym has access to security footage that could assist with the ongoing investigation. I am reaching out for help because I believe this has happened to others as well, and I hope to raise awareness about this gym. The crime occurred between 9 and 11 a.m. in broad daylight. I usually take my child to this gym, but now I will have to think twice before utilizing the gym's daycare services. My main concern is to spread awareness and possibly connect with others who have had similar experiences.

I have been a member at Klub Fitness since 2021, Klub is by far the best gym in Pasadena! From the wide variety of machines, cable equipment, free weights, cardio equipment, private studio with posing room, basketball court and more! You just cant beat the price! Not to mention the environment is unmatched, paired with the cleanliness is just the cherry on top!

I personally dont have children, but they do provide a Kids Klub, so for all you parents theres no excuse!!

Guys beware!! Shady business practices regarding cancelations. They have you sign a year contract and you'd think after that year contract is up, that they'd have you renew it before continuing to charge your card. I hadn't walked in the place for almost two years after my year contract was up and they tried to make me pay a lump sum of $1500 dollars. They opted to reimburse me a $1,000 basically jacking me for $500. There are wayyy too many gyms around here that operate ethically. Plain and simple these owners are allowing slimey business practices to take place and I hope it will bite them in the long run. It's greedy and unethical. ✌️

Well, I went out of town for almost year, I’m a General Contractor I do work out of states, before I left I called to cancel but they told me I had to go in person but I couldn’t because I was out of town, I asked for a manager and they told me to call the next day because he was not there until the next morning, so I called in the morning and the lady told me to try back later because he was in a meeting, I called later and nothing. Been a member since they opened after Covid. Love the equipment and the dry sauna, overall much better than the 24 that was there before. However, there are intermittent times where there is no sanitizer spray or hand sanitizer on the wall. These last 5 days have been without any sanitizer. Covid is on the rise again and with equipment not being cleaned for 4+ days, people will surely get sick. Having mentioned this to a couple guys at the counter, they looked at their shoe, as if the answer was there. One young lady last Saturday actually acknowledged that it was a problem, thanked me and went to see if there were any cleaners in the back. Folks: this is how all gyms closed for two years. And how very few remained/newly opened. My wife’s gym, PF NEVER runs out of cleaning supplies. But they don’t have the dry sauna, so I stay. For at least the end of my membership. KF: do better. Thanks.

I wanted to update this as the management has much improved on the complaints above. There now have been for some months plenty of towels and sanitizing spray or (lately) sanitizing wipes in large bins throughout. If I could leave zero stars, I would. The gym membership is a nightmare, I canceled my membership last year, April 2023 over the phone & as of March 2024 I went into the facility & was told I owed fees over the months I didn’t go, a total of 11 months! The manager Kenny, told me the membership can only be canceled in person, but can’t be canceled online or over the phone? I don’t recommend this place at all, I’ll stick to Fitness connection, also facility lacks on equipment, some machines don’t even work.

As always with any gym membership it's a nightmare to cancel. Went in person to see if I could cancel my membership and the lady said it would be a $110 cancelation fee. I thought it was odd because it isn't stated in the contract. Then I asked if I could freeze my account and she quickly said no that they don't offer that service. I read the contract and it states,

"6(g) IF YOU PREFER, INSTEAD OF CANCELLING YOU MAY
FREEZE YOUR MEMBERSHIP AT NO ADDITIONAL COST AND YOUR MEMBERSHIP RATE WILL NOT CHANGE WHILE YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS ON FREEZE

Policies. To be eligible for a membership freeze you must be in good standing with all fees paid and you must be current on your monthly or prepaid dues."

I am in good standing with payment and was recently in a freeze that lasted three months. The three month freeze ended and payment kicked back in. I haven't been able to go to the gym due to being a first responder. The situation was handled poorly and I don't desire to continue to pay for a membership if I cannot physically attend. I wouldn't have mind to extend my freeze but after I was lied to I no longer wish to pay for this gym membership.

My advice if you struggle to cancel your membership. Cancel your card and request a new one. They can't take your money if the card they have on file is invalidated.

Didn’t have a problem with this place until I cancelled my membership and a month later they charged me $900 dollars and nobody seems to know how to get my money back to me and all but one seem completely unbothered by the fraudulent charge. So far the explanations I’ve gotten are:

Friday Feb. 23 - oh they didn’t finalize the account cancellation so you got charged, I’ll put in a refund and if you haven’t received by next Friday call us again and we’ll check on it.

Friday March 1 - I don’t know why they told you a refund has been submitted, only managers can do that and the GM is out on family leave and not getting to the notes as fast and all our managers only work Monday - Thursday so they can’t help you either until Monday.

Monday March 4 - (in person) “I need to speak with a manager” cue questions that should be answered by the supposed “notes” on my account and then tells me after I get frustrated and ask for a manager again she tells me she’s a manager but can’t do this type of thing. She also said that a refund has been initiated but couldn’t or wouldn’t answer any questions about the refund proving it was actually initiated.

GM Kenny is supposed to be in Tuesday evening so we’ll see if he actually shows up and is capable of fixing this.

Not sure if they train their employees to by evasive liars or if the managers are just that inept and uncaring towards customers and leave their employees to deal with their issues.

Dingy, dirty, always under construction. Kids club is seriously lacking. Dark atmosphere makes it feel like you’re working out in a dungeon. Equipment is broken or severely worn out. I am extremely disappointed with the way KLUB FITNESS handled a recent incident in which my son's wallet was stolen on the premises. When I approached the staff and requested to review the security camera footage to identify the perpetrator, I was met with a refusal to even consider it. This lack of willingness to investigate such a serious matter was deeply concerning and left me feeling that the safety and well-being of members are not a priority for KLUB FITNESS. I urge the management to take theft and security more seriously and to provide better support to members who experience unfortunate incidents on their premises.

The gym equipment and everything is great,however they cut my lock because some guy left his keys in the locker. I went to ask one of the employees and they told me they cut it because somebody left keys in it. I understand why they cut it,however I wish they would have atleast offered me a new lock. With such high membership fee you would expect this to be a 5 star gym, but it's not. Yes, it has some nice machines, but once a machine is down, it's down for good. They don't fix the broken machines. I've been coming here for 4 weeks, the same broken machines are still broken. They only have one Pec Fly/Rear Delt Fly machine, and it's been sitting there broken. Only 3 Smith machines, 1 broken sitting there. A cable machine and an adductor machine have also been sitting there broken. With a membership fee this high, it's expected for broken equipment to get fixed or replaced right away. Fitness Connection charges only $10 and they get their equipment fixed right away. If the Pec Fly/Rear Delt Fly machine doesn't get fixed or replaced soon, I will be cancelling my membership.

Went here in hopes to get a free day so I can decide if this was a good place for my son and I. The lady at the front charged me for a day pass, I thought "ok weird? I just want to see if I should commit or not", whatever I paid, I think about $30.. A while back my wife was knocked down in the gymnasium by a group of dudes and when i confronted them they said “we’re in the middle of a game” and telling me i need to get my girl out of the way. As far as i know, nothing was done after i brought it to the front desk employee’s attention. This gym has a very negative attitude. I pay for my membership and we shouldn’t have been intimidated out. The employees let people sneak in through the back of the gym.

I tried cancelling my membership today for other reasons and I was denied because they only let you cancel during Mon-Fri. I called prior to this and asked how to cancel and all that was said is to come in person, then when i get there in person i’m told i can’t cancel because it’s the weekend.

If you are wanting to work out and mind your business, this is not the place to go.

Pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. Honestly, the place has the most positive and uplifting atmosphere in town and I am very grateful to have a membership. If you are looking for a good place to start making positive changes, look no further than Klub Fitness.

Great gym if you want to lift—tons of weightlifting equipment. Lots of different options, and they have multiples of the more popular machines. Some of the equipment is new and in great condition—other pieces are old and somewhat broken but I’m always able to make it work or find a working machine for each exercise I want to do. However, forget the cardio equipment here. I like to walk at an incline on the treadmill after I lift but sooo many of the treadmills are either completely out of order or their incline function does not work. As far as stairmasters go, they are old and many malfunction—or have out of order signs on them. Fortunately for me the reason I signed here was so I could have more lifting options than planet fitness, and that’s what I got. I can work around the unreliable cardio equipment, but it’s still frustrating knowing I may or may not get my hill walk in at the end of my workout. For the price, I’d totally recommend this place as long as you aren’t planning on doing cardio-heavy workouts here!

Really want to like this gym as I need to find another gym home. I see the potential but it’s honestly a messss. Maybe I went during the wrong time of day but not ONE db was in place. I don’t workout with contacts and finding a matching pair was so very stressful.

I also hate that they lock you into a year long contract in order to join. Wanted to try the place again at the time of day I would actually be going (when not holiday season) but paying another fee for a day pass would be me paying the monthly fee to join.

The gym is nice, but the manager Kenny is a joke and so is his staff. Emma signed me up on 12/10/22 . I was told I can pay a higher month to month rate without a contract. I get an email saying that I’m locked into a contract, so I show up to the gym today (12/12/22) . Kenny tells me that there’s a note saying I’m doing month to month . He doesn’t honor it. The customer service is a joke. The communication with his staff is terrible. Him and his staff waisted my time. Stay away if you value your time and customer service

Everything is great. But keep up with the basketball court. The nets are constantly being ripped by people with 4 inch vertical. It’s no fun to play with a ripped net.

Just a few recommendations I did see kilo plates and designated deadlift area I would love to see upgraded bench presses example rogue west side benches more power bars and more of that Arsenal strength equipment other than that gym is pretty much amazing gym !

It has great equipment. However this is the dirtiest gym I have experienced. I brought it up to management how dirty their equipment is. If you go there check out all the machines how nasty and dirty they are all. Especially with covid you would think they would take more precautions by keeping things clean. They have cleaning ladies that it seems all they do is mop and vacuum. They need to go over all the equipment and wipe it.
I'm so close to reporting it to the Health Deparment or whatever department I need to report it to. Because I was told they would take care of it and eveything is still dirty. If you do the left extension look down on the base of the machine.

best basketball court In the area. nice spacing in sauna/steam room. plenty of free weights, treadmills, cycles and has just about everything u could want in a gym plus pool and jacuzzi...just a great place all around.

Definitely not bad but some of the equipment could really use some replacements, some of the treadmills are genuinely terrible to even walk on.That being said there is a good variety as well, I was able to do some exercises here with machines I hadn't seen at other gyms. It's a bit on the smaller side too so I'd recommend you go really early or really late. Packed times are about what you'd expect so going while most people are at work would be ideal.

As far as I'm aware they are in the process of getting new stuff, I've seen a few new things pop up here and there.

Made the best decision in my life to switch to this gym. The sign up was so easy and it only took 5 minutes. Love the atmosphere whenever I arrive for my workout. Staff is really friendly and will eventually recognize you as a regular without you ever having to check in. Awesome gym!

Got my membership at the beginning of the month. It is great to see a 24hour gym again. Staff is nice and attentive. Definitely a newer location but the machines are really simple to use. Gym is as expected. Pool room is nice. Hot point is always the sauna. Member for a year. Excited to continue going daily.

I love this gym ! It’s the best gym I found so far ! At 24 hr we were paying $70 a month with nothing open and a few machines left to use . This gym is HUGE! Not so crowded yet I’m guessing since they just opened but now I pay $55 here for me and my husband ! He gets to play his basketball and everything is opened open later then 24 hr ! Really recommended this gym to anybody !

I just joined and can't say enough about how clean this place is. Everything has been renovated and the pool area looks fabulous. I see one of the reviews complained about their monthly pricing of $35. If you pay the $299 for the year you save $121. No brainer! I'm happy I joined and will never take my gym membership for granted again.
