I’ve been to many LA Fitness locations and this one is definitely my most favorite. Facility is always clean, weights organized and machines well maintained. Big fan of the wellness aspect as well. Sauna, jacuzzi, pool.

I do have to shout out to Jamie at the front desk — she is an absolute gem!
Every single time I walk in (whether it’s 8 a.m. and I’m half-asleep or 8 p.m. and the place is packed), Jamie greets me with the biggest, most genuine smile and warmth. She’s lightning-fast at checking people in, but somehow still makes every member feel like they matter. When a new member looked overwhelmed the other day, Jamie hopped out from behind the desk, gave them a full tour, and even showed them how to use a machine they were having trouble with.

Honestly, Jamie is the reason this LA Fitness feels like a community instead of just another big-box gym. She’s professional, warm, hilarious, and hands-down the best front-desk experience I’ve ever had at any LA Fitness.

LA Fitness, give this lady a raise, she absolutely deserves it — she’s a superstar! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everytime I have come in for a guest pass, Jaimie has been very helpful. I’ve also never seen someone so responsive to new guests upon entrance, assisting and giving tours of the gym with a great attitude. I think she deserves to be recognized amongst the team. Love the gym and the fact that it has a sauna is game changing. The gym is also very clean and has the perfect amount of equipment to get in a great workout for whatever workout I have planned!

Sauna is really bad have a really bad smell I asked one of the employees to clean it and sanitize the sauna several times and never get done. Same thing with the showers they really dirty unhealthy they have mould growing. In the walls His answer was bright in the city I don’t care

Extremely Poor Maintenance and Cleanliness

I’ve been a member of LA Fitness for some time, and I’m very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness and maintenance at this location. The hot tubs seem to break at least once a month, and it takes them a very long time to get anything fixed. Even worse, I’ve seen cockroaches around the hot tub and pool areas, which is completely unacceptable for a gym that charges this much.

I’ve reported these issues multiple times, but nothing seems to improve. The facility clearly needs better management and maintenance. Until they start taking cleanliness and repairs seriously, I wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone.

Even after informing in-person to the Manager, my personal training membership was not canceled. Beware as they will continue to charge you even after the contract ends. After escalation, District VP - Olivia was rude enough to reject my refund. When I confronted to reach out to the Manager who accepted my cancelation, the entire blame was shifted to me! It's very easy for the management to point the fingers at you because hey! the manager no longer works there. Definitely they could use money to keep women's restroom clean.

I had a generally very good experience at this gym! Everyone was always friendly and there was always tons of space. The sauna was always broken, but the pool was the cleanest out of all Austin-area locations. Only issue there was the timing of kids classes.

I had a fantastic experience with Irene as I relocate and needed to cancel my membership. She was quick and kind, and very empathetic to my situation. Whenever I am able to return, I’ll be coming back here for sure!

The gym itself is ok. Not too crowded. But admins don't give a damn about your queries or suggestions. For example water in the male restroom is too hot to wash your hands. To the point where it burns your skin. I've asked them multiple times for a month to check it. All the time they say "We'll check it, no worries" and they never do.
Oh and the sauna. It's been closed for "renovations" for almost 2 years now.

UPDATE:
Well the sauna is still closed, and equipment is just getting worse. Even simple padding for the equipment just cannot be replaced for some reason

I have been a member since the CP facility opened. It’s a quality gym and has excellent support team. Quan is a leader of the team. He talks to everyone listens to your good and bad. Nothing is beneath him, he will pick up a towel, spot on a set. Plus he is very honest. My biggest complaint is the sauna has been down for 2 years! When asked, Quan was very forthcoming with the issue. Still doesn’t make me happy but it’s the transparency I appreciate. Keep doing it LA Fitness.

I chose this location because it had a sauna. I say had because it has been out of commission for months. Every time I’ve asked, I am told the proceeding month, it will be fixed. Next month arrives and they say it’s the next month. I know it cannot be that difficult to get someone to fix it.

Horribly inept service from a company that clearly banks on confusion to keep your money. I attempted to cancel my membership and was met with a masterclass in misinformation. Despite the fact that cancellations can be done online (yes, really—it’s 2025), the staff insisted I send a letter like it’s 1993. They outright refused to admit there was a simpler way, which tells me one thing: they either don’t know how their own system works or they’re intentionally misleading customers. Neither is a good look. LA Fitness, if you spent half as much time training your staff as you do making cancellation a circus act, maybe people wouldn’t be lining up to leave.

HOWEVER, Marquan(Quan) is awesome and extremely helpful both in signing up, questions, and helping to navigate everything including cancellation. I've been to a few gyms and with Quan, this has been the best one yet. If I ever get time to go back to the gym, I'll go here and ill sign up with Quan.

I used to like this LA Fitness. I didn't think I'd ever be leaving this review, but here we are. I usually don't go to a gym at all if they don't have a pool and hot tub. This one does, but now they pimp out the pool to classes almost every day, right during the peak hours. Because $40 per member per month isn't enough apparently.

Nobody wants to hear screaming kids and shouting instructors when they just want to relax and enjoy the pool and hot tub! This is so disrespectful to paying members who want to use the pool they pay for!

If it's not that, the pool and/or hot tub undergoes maintenance way too often!

To top it off, they pretty much gave up on ever fixing their sauna that has been out of commission for over a year now. I'm just about done with this gym. Maybe I'll give Crunch Fitness a try, assuming it's not way too crowded every day...

If I could give no stars I would. I’ve been coming here for years because it’s convient. However, today I see a little dog in a car with the windows rolled up in the parking lot. I tell the front desk so they can find the person that left the dog in the car. Brandon at the front desk refused to make an announcement. So I had to call Cedar Park Police to come rescue the dog. The staff and facility has went extremely downhill and I, along with all the other 100s of people, that have left this location, will be in search of a new workout and location.

Management has zero customer service skills and overall they make you feel like you are just a number and not a real person.

The kids club people act like they do not want to be there and they are with their heads buried on their phones.

Big disappointment!

I had been a member before and I decided to give it another chance.

I tried signing my son up for the kids club and they made a mistake by charging me for a day only.

When I wanted to come back they made it seem as if I was trying to sneak my son in while I worked out and treated me as if I was the one who made the mistake.

I ended up cancelling my membership and was informed that all the charges were going to be cancelled as well and to my surprise they charged me with their anual fee which confirms that you are just a number to them.

I literally went there 3 times and that’s how much it took for me to leave!

No one ever told me that the sauna was not working and I found out on my own when I tried going and it was closed. I then asked the front desk and all the answers I got were vague and the person at the front desk had an attitude as if I was asking for gold.

After cancelling they had the audacity to call me and try to sell me personal training services without even realizing that I was no longer a member. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Anyways, I recommend this gym ZERO!

And of course the “owner” only replies to good reviews! They don’t even care to provide mediocre customer service 👎🏾

This place keeps getting worse! Management clearly doesn’t care anymore.

I’ve been coming here for almost two years, and the decline is shocking—dirty restrooms, rarely cleaned showers, and broken equipment left unfixed for weeks.

The sauna shut down indefinitely, the gym had no hot water for a week in winter, and the pool or hot tub is out of order at least twice a month. Even the receptionists seem clueless, like they’re just there to lock up.

I only stay because it’s the only place with a pool nearby, but I’d leave in a heartbeat if there were other options.

Of all the LA Fitness locations I’ve visited, this one is by far the best. The gym is spacious, well-designed, and neatly organized. It has a water bottle filling station, which is much more hygienic. The men’s locker room and restrooms are clean and well-maintained. In the shower area, they’ve installed glass doors instead of curtains, which provides much better privacy.

However, one thing has been really bothering me. The sauna has been out of service for quite some time now, and this is very frustrating. I constantly ask about it, but no one seems to know exactly when it will be back up and running. Today, I asked a staff member at the front desk, and they told me it might reopen in February or maybe even March. I find this very disrespectful to us, the customers.

I understand the company’s side, but please try to understand ours as well. How much longer will we be without the sauna?

Could I go to another location? Yes, but that would completely disrupt my daily routine.

When they bring back the sauna, I’ll give back the 5 stars.

Just wanted to share my thoughts. I still love you, LA Fitness!

The gym is a good gym. My main issue is that you do not get the full amenities which you pay for. The men’s sauna has been closed for over a year now and the price has not reflected.

I understand the price not changing if it was down for a month, but a year…

There are gyms that offer far more and better for the same exact price. I’ll be moving to Crunch Fitness Cedar Park who offers more and better, and is the same price as LA Fitness.

I’ve been coming here for months, and it’s always been a great gym. But today, everything changed. It started as a normal workout, but suddenly, the doors locked, the lights dimmed, and a group of suspicious guys in matching tracksuits took over the gym floor. Before I could react, Jerry quietly handed me a towel and whispered, ‘Stay low.’ From there, it was chaos—Juan crawled through the vents (yes, the vents) to cut the power to their stereo system while Jerry distracted the leader with a ‘broken guest pass form.’ Eventually, they lured the crew into the pool area and locked them inside. Crisis averted. Thank you, Jerry and Juan—because of you, I’ll be back for my next session.

It's usually super dirty, there's people that just show up in business clothing or cowboy boots and jeans that just sit on machines for an hour without ever actually doing anything, and a lot of machines are broken. Also WHO keeps turning the fans off? Because there's hardly any air flow when the fans are on.

Fantastic Gym with fantastic equipment! It’s got everything you need from free weights, machines and all of the cardio machines you can handle. Top of the line Hammer strength, cybex and lifetime fitness equipment! As good as the gym is the staff and personal trainers are just as good as they are led by amazing leadership with their GM Quan Hampston! Quan was extremely polite and helpful, he made me feel right at home and welcomed to be there. I can’t wait for my next visit to get in another great workout 💪

I went there for 3 years. It sadly degraded the whole time.
The pool dyed my swim shorts yellow from green after one swim. No kind of apologies from the staff.
The sauna has been out of service for over a year. No knowledge from the staff as to when it'll be fixed.
One exercise room has been unfinished the whole 3 years I was there
Cup holders in the treadmills etc are often missing and filled with people's trash.
I have asked about new equipment and I'm always answered with the same statement "can't do that, it's corporate"
On the positive side, people are leaving in droves for other gyms so it's not very busy.

This gym needs a good cleaning! Woman’s shower is so dirty and moldy, I have told front desk so many times in the past month almost every other day I complain about showers but they don’t care. After a month bringing this issue to their attention still nothing happened so please please have someone clean the showers!!! I even ask if they let me have a spray disinfectant to spray before I go in the shower and they said it’s against their policy. No more sauna and dirty gym so what are we paying for?

Total unprofessional in dealing with members. They will sugarcoat their words until you join the membership, once you become one, you can't give even a feedback. Today when I spoke to a person from LA fitness via phone he was giving me all wrong information just to justify themselves even for a small feedback. It’s a great gym. Not a health club ☝🏻, it’s a gym. In and out. Enough cardio and strength machines, don’t see much stuff broken or unusable, it’s clean enough. Seems like a decent amount of people too so you don’t have to wait around Corning the spot. People seem to be alright. Parking lot seems to be safe. The sauna is not working, I heard there is a litigation so don’t expect it opening soon. So if people were not 🫏 holes, we’d probably have a sauna too. I am not using the lockers or the pool, so I don’t rate those. I bring my own towel if I need, I don’t think they provide. And I saw some people complaining here about machines not being wiped 😂okok … I’m one of those people, who is not wiping them down 😛expose yourself to some germs, you’ll live longer, but honestly what’s up with that princess attitude lol. It’s a gym, come and sweat, see others sweat, lift some iron, be cool. If you are gong there afraid of touching someone’s sweat…… you’ll likely be out of any gym in no time anyway.

So from my point of view- great gym if that’s what’s you are looking for and you are not a Disney princess. Certainly not a health club though with opportunity to hang there for hours. I personally prefer those but they are way more expensive and 20 mins away from me. So I choose those places at a fraction of the cost and 4 mins from my house

I joined this gym last year specifically for the sauna. After a couple of months, they put up a sign saying the infrared sauna was "to be fixed soon." Every time I asked about the sauna, they said they didn’t know when it would be repaired, which was baffling. I kept my membership for an additional six months but eventually canceled it in January.

I love this Gym! Quan, the GM, is super helpful and personable. He actually cares about his members and their personal lives! I know he has single handedly kept a lot of people here, even when they were unsatisfied at times. New faces at the front desk as of late, but Galen the new operations manager has been such a pleasure. Very nice guy and you can tell he genuinely cares. The rest of the team from the personal training department all the way to janitorial have been great! LA Fitness finally has a great team put together, and these guys really make a difference in the gym that goes way beyond pieces of equipment. I’ve had a great experience at LA fitness. My personal trainer Isaiah, is the best trainer I’ve ever had. He is punctual, knowledgeable, and personable. He is more than helpful in his instruction, and always seems to have my well-being as a high priority. I look forward to each session that I work with him due to his encouraging attitude! He has become someone that I trust and look forward to catching up with each time I enter LA Fitness. I see a promising future in this young man and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. After about 9 months of membership with the infrared sauna "to be fixed" they finally just removed that sign and removed the amenity listing from their webpage.

The place also has cleanliness issues with no enforced conduct for wiping down equipment and often gnarly bathrooms.

Any time you want to use one of the 6-7 pully machines you have to scour the gym for ropes or other attachments cause they just vanish or get taken.

My wife and I joined about four months ago, and we are absolutely thrilled with our decision to become members of LA Fitness! I would like to personally thank Paul who has been so amazing and helpful and always on top of his game. His customer service is rare to find these days. I would also like to give a huge shout out to Isaiah and Rishi (trainers) both of them are amazing and I have learned so much from them. Everytime I have a training session I always learn something new. So far, my experience has been pretty good and everyone (gym goers too) seem super nice! I have gone at different times, so I have seen morning, afternoon, and evening. Since I'm still learning I like to look around to see what others are doing to see if I might like to try it. Everytime I have asked someone to show me something they have been absolutely wonderful showing me how to do something new. LA Fitness has been great for hubby and I both!

I am so thrilled to have joined LA Fitness several months ago! Not only am I thoroughly enjoying the classes, I have been receiving personal training sessions which are making a huge difference. Paul, the coordinator of the program, is a funny, friendly, and helpful guy. He matched me with Isaiah who is knowledgeable and very sweet. This place has fantastic personal trainers. I've been training with Rob B. since February and would definitely recommend him to anyone considering starting personal training here.
My goal was to gain muscle weight and strength, as I've always been quite slim. I can see improvements in my body almost every week now, and I feel more energetic and stronger every day.
If I experience any discomfort or have concerns during exercises, Rob adjusts them immediately based on my condition.
The exercises themselves are always varied, so you never know what new things he'll introduce in the next session! His professionalism during the sessions creates a comfortable environment for working out.
I really enjoy my progress and I look forward to keep working with him.

Lack of gym etiquette — Members sitting on equipment scrolling their phones is a huge problem.

If you are serious about your fitness and want to get in and get your program completed for the day. The people camping out on equipment watching a movie or scrolling Instagram make it very hard.

I’ve been a part of a lot of gyms and I’ve NEVER been DENIED access to kettlebells until now, because it’s part of a specific class that needs these kettle bells which were available to use a week ago EVERYONE. Also this specific gym decided to buy MORE equipment and NOT fix their sauna. I asked the general manager why this is and they said it’s only because they have a company wide decision to turn off all saunas. I went to another location more south in Austin and theirs were on and working perfectly. This place is DEFINITELY NOT worth the 4 star average rating it holds. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE.

Just joined a couple of weeks ago. I like the gym. Friendly people and good range of equipment. The lack of a sauna is disappointing because I do enjoy sitting in the sauna a few times a week. Overall I like working out here and it's only a block from my apartment so that's really nice too. Had to adjust my review because I have been here for several months now and the sauna is still broken. This is poor management. Fix something when it's broken. Pretty simple. GM is dropping the ball. I've managed restaurants most of my adult life and when equipment is broken you hound the repair men until it's fixed. Also I saw on the app today that some of the gyms have cryotherapy. Why not this one? I will check out the Round Rock locations and see if they are any better. Still like the gym it just seems like they refuse to fix glaring issues.

My issue is, it is already 2 months past, still I was not able to cancel my membership. It is not possible do it online, when I am calling to the center, they are asking to do in person. I went there twice & asked to cancel my membership, operators respond was that only manager can do it & he/she is here only between Monday & Thursdays between 9am and 6pm. This place is not bad to be honest. It’s a bit packed but some people love community. I’d give it four stars except the following.

- Sauna has been down for what I assume is years at this point, there’s sign saying out of order. Instead it should say we aren’t fixing it ever.

- equipment stays broken when it does break.

- the water fountain has been down for weeks.

- the scale is noticeably broken. Wiggle it around and you’ll be 8pbs lighter.

Staff is actually really nice but given the above you’d think management would get hopping on it. Instead what I believe is the GM spends his entire day on his cellphone texting. I’ve literally never seen him not texting. I assume he’s finding new members but maybe that time would be better spent learning how to fix the many things broken.

Edit: 1 star now after reading the reviews. LA fitness management is asleep at the wheel, maybe it’s more poignant to say their texting and driving.

When first opened, it was nice and clean, but now, after couple of years almost, it is dirty, has missing parts on machines, bathroom soap and/or paper are not generally available, sauna is shutdown,.... and real messy in general. This location is not clean. Very messy and sloppy. Too lax in rules with people walking around with no shoes or flip flops, and gym bags scattered all over. I only gave it 2 stars because there is a pool and while I loved Planet Fitness which is very clean and more open airy and brighter, they weren’t doing a good job with calling out people with disgusting hygiene that sweat a repulsive stench and didn’t wear any deodorant.

I haven’t been at LA long enough to see how that goes but in general this location is pretty dark and drab and doesn’t have a great vibe.

Lots of miscellaneous trash like paper towels, napkins, pieces of dirt, clumps of hair, filthy urinals that are dusty and have yellow pee all over. For a gym urinal to be dusty means it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Absolutely gross. I would not walk around barefoot in the locker room.

I tried doing a few pushups and sit ups in the middle section of the gym where it’s an open space for various workouts and my hands are filthy and all black and the back of my shirt and sweatpants had all sorts of crud on it from being on that nasty floor for 2 minutes.

I switched over for a change (I find changing gyms for a month or two every few years helps keep things fresh and keep you motivated) and to start doing lap swimming more regularly as it was difficult finding open pool times and no local outdoor pools are heated. I can’t emphasize how dirty this gym floor & bathrooms are here.

This club has gone down hill fast since I joined a year and half ago.

Positives, the greeting staff in the very front is very nice and helpful, they have a Good variety of machines, And people seem to enjoy the classes and the pool.

Negatives, the overall cleanliness of the entire gym, including the locker rooms is extremely poor. The sauna has not worked in a very long time, which is disappointing because this is one of the amenities you pay for as LA fitness is one of the more expensive gyms in the area. I understand that machines breakdown however, it takes them forever to get them repaired. The sales staff who are also in charge of policing the gym are often very rude. They are often playing on their phones when this time could be used to help clean the gym. There is also an unused room with nothing in it, and I will sometimes use this room if I have an important phone call. However, the staff will come over occasionally, and be extremely rude and kick you out. There is no sign or lock on the door to keep people out however, the staff themselves use it for their own phone personal calls, even if they are not wearing LA Fitness attire.

The overall synopsis is that this gym is rapidly going downhill with a bad attitude. As for myself as soon as another large gym, with a good variety of machines opens up, I will be quitting LA Fitness as fast as I possibly can.

For those asking about the sauna, I did search and seems LA Fitness corporate is in the middle of a lawsuit due to a few people getting infected with Legionnaires disease at one of their clubs in another state, causing them to shut the hot tubs and saunas down at most locations. So I believe this is why they refuse to open it and clubs nationwide have closed them as well, and won’t say why. Would be best to just be honest.

However, the persistent issues with the sauna, cleanliness of the locker room, and maintenance oversights detract from the overall experience. Members expect to receive all the services included in their membership, and the extended downtime of the sauna is a notable letdown. Do not sign up for personal training contracts. Be careful of misleading and misdirecting sales. We specifically asked if the contact ended and we were told it did. A year later, we had an auto draft when the contract should have been over and we were told, no it's month to month now. When we tried to cancel the month to month, we were told we had 30 days to use all our sessions. We certainly were not told that.

Decent machines, deadlift platforms, and variety of equipment, however, the sauna has been down for months and there have been no updates about fixing it. The gym floor, pool area, and bathrooms were once pretty well maintained but no longer are, and it is not uncommon for the sinks to lack soap. It also gets very busy after work hours to the point where I've had to overhaul my workouts around it. Not the worst gym in the world, but could use improvement.

I appreciate the friendly front desk and commend the personal trainers, particularly Monique and Candice. However, the cleanliness of the gym could be improved, as I often notice lint on the floor.

I faced difficulties when trying to cancel my personal training membership. The process was not straightforward, and the staff member handling it was unprofessional and not accommodating. The gym has been good so far. Great space, always clean. I just felt DECEIVED. I paid about $300 dollars to start together with my wife, and 15 days later they charged me an "Annual fee" ($100) so it was 400 dollars in the first month.
