I had THE BEST time in my first two classes at Laché! I signed up using the three class deal for new students and booked an all levels handstand class with Roy. The space was welcoming with many different apparatuses all around, which fed my amazement and wonder as someone who is seeking to advance my handstand skills as well as try new movement practices. Roy was super personable and made genuine effort to connect with every student from the start of the class until the very end. I learned warmups and skills I’d not tried before, and I loved that he set up stations with many different options to allow beginners to advanced students to practice their handstand techniques. He made himself available throughout, providing helpful cues, feedback, and encouragement. I appreciated that his approach is not rigid, but instead curious, open, and playful- like movement should be. The other students were regulars and super inviting, so much so that I stayed for the tumbling class right after. I’ve never tumbled before, so am a total beginner, and I was still able to learn at my pace and have a fun time. After the class I connected with the co-owner Tolly, who is so kind and inviting as well. She shared more about the history of Laché. I’m really excited to explore more classes and become a part of this community!

Love this place! Coach Eddie is an awesome trampoline coach, he's very patient, works with you at your speed and comfort level, and allows you to focus on the skills you want to achieve. It's a very personalized experience for any and all levels, not a one size fits all type of thing. It's even suitable for adults (like me!). Highly recommend!!!

Took a level 2 pole class with Laurie. Laurie is fantastic, I enjoy how she taught. Sadly the gym and pole area itself is pretty dirty and I wasn't super happy to put my hands on the floor. 😬 After being to all the other pole studios around Austin it was super disappointing to see this place be so "gym dirty". (If you're reading this, the floor, baseboards, all along the bottom of the walls, the window frame, the poles themselves, the bathroom was awful etc.)
Also, practicing pole moves with a bunch of kiddos around is not my ideal. This is definitely more of a "gym" than a pole fitness/dance studio. That may work for some people but not my vibe.

Booked a pole class via ClassPass, but when I arrived, I ultimately decided not to take the class because I didn’t realize the poles would be out in the open for everyone to see. It was uncomfortable for me. There were children and parents all around, and I didn’t bring the proper clothing to be in an open environment like that. There were also no changing spaces, only bathrooms. I should have looked the studio up first!

Lache is my happy place. I've met some truly incredible people here, and the staff is always welcoming and exceptionally skilled in aerial. The booking process is easy, and Lache provides a supportive and encouraging environment for anyone learning aerial. It's a place that regularly inspires me and I feel lucky to be part of the Lache community!

I love this place and I'm so thankful that a place like this exists for adults. I've taken the tumbling, handstand and parkour classes but my go-to class is trampoline (which includes their trampwall). The vibe is super laid back and friendly. I've also had many great instructors - Roy, Dmitri and Eric to name a few. If you're worried about age then let that go - I will be turning 45 and just recently learned to backflip on the trampoline.

Really horrible service. I called to get information and the girl I initially spoke with gave me all information I asked and scheduled me for an appt. I called to confirm the appt before I left and the person told me they didn't have me scheduled, and they couldn't put me in the class. She was really negative. I wouldn't recommend them and I won't be back. How unprofessional to tell someone they can't attend a class after you told them they could. And 30 min before their appt. Horrible service.

I’ve been doing pole and circus for some time and have lived in a number of states and have taken classes in different regions of the US. I tried a trapeze class at Lache on a weekday evening. Holy. Cow. The way they pack that studio having 5 or 6 classes at the same time in that small of a space is INSANE to me. I could barely hear my instructor because she was soft spoken and the sound of bouncing/tumbling behind me was just too much. I don’t have ADD as far as I know but it was VERY hard to follow the instructor’s instructions because everywhere in my visual periphery was very active.
There’s only one spot of cubby holes to store your stuff so when tumbling takes a water break there is a horde of humans coming at you in the trapeze area. I don’t have any disordered anxiety around crowds but even this was pushing my limits.
The vibe of the studio is more competitive and serious than I am used to. It is not a bad thing just something worth noting.
I think the very crowded space was just too much for me. I get it— more classes means more people means more money. Maintaining a circus gym isn’t cheap, and I understand. But it’s borderline dangerous to overcrowd a space where people are kicking, jumping, tumbling, etc. and when it’s so noisy I can’t hear proper instructions on how to be safe on an apparatus.
It’s a nice studio but anyone who is coming in from out of town who has experienced circus elsewhere, just be mindful that this is not exactly a chill place on weekday evenings.

Not a huge space, but they really do a lot with it. I took Level 1 Parkour here and felt very welcomed, had a fun time, and got a good workout. Would recommend to anyone starting out and wanting to get a feel for Parkour. Instructor was enthusiastic and great to talk to after class. It looked like all the other things they were doing would have been equally fun and interesting.

This is my favorite place :-) been taking silks here for 6 months along with contortion and all the instructors are really knowledgeable and personable. I’m never made to feel bad about mistakes, but do receive helpful constructive pointers that allow me to progress safely. I’ve also dropped in on random classes too and it’s been really fun! Makes it hard not to just show up every day lol. The schedule is pretty great since you don’t have to commit to more than one class at a time, but do have the option to schedule 5(?) weeks in advance if you need to, and there are usually at least a couple options for each skill level for most apparatuses from what I’ve seen.
Price wise, it’s also just the best deal around here and they have a really, really great open gym policy.

I came here for a silks level 2 class. I’d done silks for years in the past (not here) and my favourite thing about it is always that it felt like a safe space for me.
My husband booked me an appointment here after we moved to Austin because he knows silks is my happy place. I guess there was some miscommunication with scheduling - not exactly sure what happened but it’s not an issue.
My issue is that the instructor (not knowing I was there) practically started to trash talk me, talking about how “some girl’s husband” had called and there was a scheduling conflict but since she’s already on her way (I was not - I was sitting right there) now they have to wait for an extra “mystery girl” and squeeze her in. It just gave off a general mean girl vibe. I had to walk away and cry in the bathroom.
If there was a scheduling issue, I would have rather been turned away or told to come back another day, then to be talked about in that way in front of my face.
Other than that, I will say that the class was nice and the instructor seemed knowledgeable - hence the 2 stars. I wish I felt like I could come back here but sadly I don’t.

Our instructor was amazing! She helped walk us through every step and how to be safe. She was funny, goofy and all around a pleasure to work with. There was like 8 poles and 10 people so we had to take turns but we got plenty of time to do it. They even gave us time after the class was over for some free style

Laché offers a wide variety of fitness and movement classes all in one space. In my experience all classes are small, with plenty of one-on-one attention from an experienced instructor. It's so wonderful that Austin has so many wonderful fitness activities. I never thought I'd get to do gymnastics again. Laché has made it possible for me to safely, and at my own pace, jump back into a sport that I love! Thanks Teresa!
If you're going for the first time - note that all beginner classes can be adjusted for any fitness level. No one will pressure you to do something that you're not ready for. All equipment should be provided, but wear comfy clothes!
