I tried a class here for the first time, and I loved loved the restorative flow and creativity the yoga instructor gave us to move and stretch to feel our own bodies, not worrying about how far or much we could stretch. I’m grateful I found this studio.

What’s the best thing about Laurel Grace? That’s impossible to say. Here’s why:
* the community is outstanding
* the classes are wonderful
* the instruction is top notch
Expert? Come be challenged.
Novice? Come be encouraged.
I can’t say enough about how amazing the instructors are, how much they genuinely care about their students, and how clearly they communicate to make your practice stronger. I’m stronger, calmer, and happier since joining. This isn’t just a studio. It’s become my community. Now, I’m inviting you.

Laurel Grace is not only an amazing yoga studio but also a beautiful community!!! It is a welcoming, sacred space that provides love and light to everyone. Each teacher brings a unique style to the mat and leads with compassion to meet the needs of all who come to practice. The owner, Lauren, shares her passion for helping others not only inside the studio, but also to those in need outside through supporting various local, nonprofit organizations. My heart is filled with gratitude for the connection, peace, and joy this place brings to so many!! ✨🫶🏽

I love my yoga community. I get both mental and physical wellness coming here. I’ve been going for 14 months and I absolutely love it. All the instructors are very nice and they help you whenever you have questions. I take about three to four classes weekly and have taken some longer shops which were amazing.

Laurel Grace yoga has given me everything I was looking for in a yoga studio and more. The instructors are top notch. They are not only skilled and knowledgeable but they also inspire me. Gregg’s restorative classes have become a weekly ritual for myself and my friends. The practice makes me feel better and sleep better. I encourage anyone from novice to veteran to join the community that is Laurel Grace. Your mind, body, and spirit will thank you.

I love this yoga community! The instructors are kind, welcoming and encouraging. They offer a variety of class formats (Yin, Restorative, Hatha and Vinyasa) and more. There is something for everyone, from the beginning student to the long time yoga practitioner. They even offer special events like paddle board yoga in the summer and sound bath sessions (yoga accompanied by Tibetan and crystal bowls, chimes and gongs). It’s a very caring and supportive environment.❤️

A couple of years ago, I wanted to develop and strengthen a yoga practice. I walked in the first day expecting yoga instruction but Laurel Grace yoga surpassed my expectations by fulfilling the physical needs and generously offering the community elements I didn't know I wanted or needed. LGY is a rare gem that truly fosters fellowship.

Calling all yogis- beginners or long time namasters. You know who you are- you’re not there for the matching outfits or the perfect pose (you know there is no perfect pose). You are there for yourself, connecting with your breath, your community, your internal peaceful power. This is the place for you. Each teacher brings their full self to class and it’s always exactly what you need. Come join us!

I have been going to Laurel and Grace for over a year. I have taken a class from them all. Each and every instructor has their strengths and the knowledge that will help you build your practice.I-started there to build my strength so I took classes such as restorative and yin. I now have moved into such classes as Vinyasa, core, flow, and restorative sound bath. Whatever your level of practice is , there is a class for you.Give them a try. Support local!

I moved to NBTX over 2 years ago! This studio feels like home. The teachers are all amazing and have a unique style. The prices of the 10 class pass works best for me as some months I do 3 classes some I do 3 a week! Open community if you’re local or just visiting for vacation.

Wow, this is the first time for me this morning @ Gruene Hall. I loved it. I'm 64 and lost my wife to colon cancer. It's been almost two years. Yes, it's been a struggle.
Thanks again. Love you.
I'll have to come by sometime.

As a “Winter Texan” I was able to experience this yoga studio for the months of March & April at least 25 times. I am soon to be 75 years old….
Please if you have not tried this studio… do yourself a favor, give yourself some well deserved love, your body NEEDS it. The Restorative class is a great start but I found I could enjoy Hatha, Yin and certainly the meditation of all classes extremely gratifying. I promise you will too. Thank you to all staff who made my Texas visit so special.

The Hatha retreat was a TREAT for myself in the middle of the crazy holidays. I really enjoyed taking this dedicated time to connect with myself and new people. We learned so much about postures, their intentions, their connections to one another, and the little tweaks that increase their benefit. Greg was such an incredible guide; knowledgable, passionate, articulate, patient, warm and joyful. I love this studio and its people.

Laurel Grace is fantastic! The team is compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. They all are passionate about yoga and strive to meet the needs of everyone that comes to the shala. Every class and every workshop fill my soul while making me want to know even more about yoga. These teachers are great people on a mission to make the planet a better place for everyone. I am so thankful for each and every one of my teachers and the beautiful people I practice with. I feel so grateful and blessed!

I’m obsessed with the day retreats. I’ve done two of them so far. The opportunity to dive deeper into postures and really workshop each posture has made a difference in how I approach my yoga practice. These are made for people who work for a living. They are priced fairly and you don’t have to travel to some expensive wellness retreat to get the benefits of a retreat! Highly recommend. 10/10. Would go again. Plug for their regularly scheduled classes as well. I pop in when I can (again, I work for a living!) and all of the instructors have been great.

I had a fantastic experience at Laurel Grace Yoga! As a newbie to yoga and a male practitioner, I was a bit apprehensive at first, but the staff here made me feel incredibly comfortable and welcome. They were patient, supportive, and created a warm and inclusive environment for everyone. I'm grateful for the positive introduction to yoga and can't wait to continue my practice here. Thank you, Laurel Grace Yoga! 🧘♂️🌟

This community is so special! The studio is welcoming and instructors are top notch. It feels welcoming and homey at the same time. Class sizes are smaller compared to other local options, which allows for more individualized attention from instructors, while also offering a great group class vibe. You can immediately sense the care and intentionality of this space. This is not a studio full of frills, the latest trends or the flashiest marketing. It is for anyone looking for roots based yoga, smaller classes with more attention and care from instructors, and a family style community with expert instruction. Whether you’ve been practicing for years or are interested in trying something new, instructors meet you right where you’re at and offer support for everyone to move in ways that are appropriate for them. 10/10 recommend!

I'm so hesitant to create this review. I love this place so much, I don't want it to get so popular I can't get into my fav classes! But I'm going to do it. If you are new, well into or a long practicing yogi, you will love it here! I've taken classes from almost all the instructors and I love them all. So sincere in their practice, kindness and attention. I've never felt so welcome as I do at Laurel Grace. The space is on the intimate side, holding 12 comfortably, 14-16 extra cozily. Several gorgeous lotus murals by a local artist add a creative vibe. All the instructors are very experienced, offering alternative poses for any who need them. Several offer aromatherapy as part of the practice, which is such a treat. There are also special classes, like the Nidra sleep and sound bath, couples as well as others. Lots of cool yoga merch too. When we are in New Braunfels, I go 5 days a week. Hips aching? Anxiety flaring up? This will right your ship. It did mine. I wish I could bring this studio home with me to Michigan for the rest of my year. I miss it terribly! Go, they have all the things you need, mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps. You'll see what a gem this yoga studio is, and totally understand why I hesitated to leave my review!

We love this yoga studio!!! The location is perfect (downtown). Lauren is so kind and welcoming, and she is such an incredible teacher. Every teacher here is welcoming, fun, so knowledgeable and just the best of the best! We tried the special for new students and were hooked. This community has been such a blessing. We moved here 13 months ago and this studio has been a highlight of living in New Braunfels. Suzy & Steve Maier

I just had my first class here today, and loved it! Lauren was so welcoming and informative, I’m new to yoga and was pretty nervous about my first class but it was a welcoming non-judgmental environment with super sweet ladies. I enjoyed the class itself, and felt comfortable doing different modifications. The studio is so pretty and clean, and it is fairly economical especially for the value. I’m looking forward to taking more classes!

While being winter Texans I signed up for classes at this cute studio. They went above my expectations for a yoga studio. Every one of their instructors were extremely good. They were all very Covid safe and knowledgeable in their classes. The Monday night class with Sylvia was perfect. The noon class with Maka was a favorite. She "read the room" and instructed based on student's needs. I will miss her! The restorative class with Greg was the best restorative class I have been to in quite a while. It was the perfect amount of stretching and a relaxing "adult nap"! I will sign up again next March. The location is perfect and the studio very clean and calming. Thank you!

I highly recommend Laurel Grace Yoga. The instructors have several years of experience and are extremely knowledgeable in proper moves and techniques that help ensure an effective and safe yoga experience. They offer both in studio and virtual classes throughout the day so there’s plenty of flexibility with location and busy schedules. I also appreciate that the instructors truly care for our well being and make everyone feel welcomed regardless of one’s level of experience. It’s a very welcoming and enjoyable experience...you won’t be disappointed!

I have hopped from studio to studio the past few years since my favorite shala closed. Laurel Grace Yoga has brought back a sense of community for yogis beginning or advanced and in-between. The instructors are absolutely wonderful!! I have enjoyed the variety of classes that are provided and early morning class times have been so convenient to prevent me from skipping out on me-time. Hope to see you on the mat!!

Lunch time online yoga has been a blessing to help relieve tension from a stressful day. Maka is a great instructor and we've been able to offer the virtual class to other coworkers to do together.
I have taken many classes from Lauren, and am pleased to attend classes in her new studio!

I’ve honestly only been twice...AND I knew the instructor from years ago so I knew the class itself would be great! BUT this studio and the classes she offers are just what NB needs regardless if you’re starting out or advanced. The variety of classes is amazing! In person, online, beginner, advanced, yin, power flow, and everything in between. Since Two Rivers shut down, this is the only yoga studio I have seen in NB that offers this many options. The studio is super cute, located downtown, and very quaint. The ease of signing up for classes online was painless as well and I’m glad I didn’t have to purchase a super expensive gym membership to be able to go. I’m looking forward to stepping out of my comfort zone and checking out the other instructors at LGY!
