This place closed at the start of COVID. Don't look for it, IT'S NOT THERE. And especially DON'T be fooled into buying any GROUPON deals for the gym because GROUPON won't refund it. You can't talk to anyone at Groupon, so you're stuck with their auto policy refund rules. If you don't request the refund within 3 days of purchase you lose half of it. And they only refund in the form of an account credit which means you're stuck still spending your money through Groupon anyway. GROUPON SUCKS!!!

The only place in Leander you should be lifting at. Michael is extremely knowledgeable in Oly lifting, excellent in couching cues, and proper form. If you're looking at becoming a efficient lifter, there is no better place than Leander Barbell Club.

Michael is a great coach. He is very patient and he truly cares that you are in proper form. His top priority is making sure I lift correctly so I do not injure myself. Highly recommend him for training.

After seeing the progress some friends have made with Coach Michael, I started working with Leander Barbell Club to work on a couple lifts I struggle with during Crossfit. Coach Michael has been a tremendous help. He breaks the lifts down into smaller pieces so I can understand the form and motion. He was able to hone in on where I struggle the most to help me work through those portions of the movement. He has great queues that help me focus. He is knowledgeable about Olympic Lifting, Crossfit, mobility and the body in general. His passion really shows in his work with his clients. I look forward to my sessions with Michael as well as continued progress!

Coach Michael is knowledgeable, focused, funny and has the all the qualities that make a great coach.
