Honestly, best place ever! Started on a recommendation from my boyfriend and I love it. Everyone from the staff, to students to owner are simply amazing. Helpful and always willing to lend advice. Probably the most friendly place I’ve ever been enrolled in for a gym membership. It’s not daunting to know I have a class I’m attending once or twice a day! Definitely worth the investment in yourself!

If you want to improve, be coached and pushed then Elissa is your coach! She will meet you where you are at by either giving on the spot feedback (I personally love that!) or talk to you afterwards. However, she will never let you be unsafe during a workout. You can "choose your own adventure" (Elissa quote) but just be safe while pushing. She has personally been a huge help with my flexibility, mechanics (still working on that part) and cardio! Over the past year I have come a long way under her guidance.

I absolutely love this gym! The community is welcoming and supportive, and all the trainers are fantastic. I am a few weeks in and loving it. The community is very friendly. The owner and coaches are knowledgeable and incredibly supportive. The workouts are well thought out and the modifications are posted so you feel welcome no matter your ability level. Ariel is a fantastic nutrition coach if you decide to utilize those services. I highly recommend this gym especially if you are looking a place that will help you reach your goals.

I came for a drop in while in town for work. I was able to easily see the class times, drop in price, and book an apt all from the website. There was inclement weather in the area so I sent a note asking that if the class would be canceled, if someone would reach out. I immediately got a response and we were good to go.
Josh was coaching the class that morning. I felt he did a great job explaining the movements, the reasonings and motivating the class. He was constantly moving around the gym, making sure we were working through the movements ok and motivating us. Everything was laid out in an easy to follow method and the workout was challenging.
It sounds like this a very special gym with a lot of history and a big membership. I will definitely drop in again next time I’m in the area.

Dropped in for a class! Great community and atmosphere. Everyone was friendly, encouraging and high energy, the programming was good, I liked the availability of equipment and the coach (Josh) was attentive, encouraging to the class. I was greeted immediately and acclimated to the gym. I appreciated the email (greeting) notification with details about who would meet me at the gym when I arrived and other information to prepare me for the visit. I would give this gym a 10 if I could. Very Nice!!

I have been member of this CrossFit gym for about three weeks. Facility is top-notch and well equipped training area. People are welcoming and supportive. Coaches are experienced, knowledgeable and work towards your fitness goals. The workouts also fantastic. It’s carefully planned for beginner , intermediate and RX which is suitable for all level of athletes. I definitely recommend!!

A coworker invited me for a free trial and as I walked up, I'll admit I felt intimidated by the military flags and ropes hanging throughout the garage but the group was nice and Wes our coach was so kind to me during the workout. He came over and gave me one on one instruction for a move I was unfamiliar with. Great workout! I FELT the burn in all the right places!

Great gym and people. The adult and kids classes have been great. I really enjoy this community and it is probably the best gym in Leander/Liberty Hill. My kids look forward to 4:30pm on Tuesday/Thursday. I enjoy the start of my 5:15am class with the early wake up crew. The owner really cares about each individual member, their goals, feedback, and experience.
She makes sure everyone has a great experience in her gym and are treated with dignity and respect. I am grateful to have found a community that fits my family’s needs.
Note: I have not tried any of the gyms in Liberty Hill. I am sure they are just as great. Grand Mesa is the only gym in the area that offers a kids and teen program. That influenced my decision and I don’t regret it one bit. Additionally, the member reservation is a plus.

Starting out as a complete newbie to the CrossFit world I initially decided on Grand Mesa CrossFit because they offered a free week. I mean who can pass up on a free week to see if it’s a good fit and to really establish a good starting point? None-the-less I still remember sitting in my car outside on my very first day feeling super nervous and intimidated questioning if I made the right call, if I could even do it, or what a CrossFit workout even really consisted of. I’m happy to say I will never forget that day, it’s a decision I honestly will never regret.
It ends up not everything is as it seems. The coaches and members consisted of everyday people just like me from all walks of life and a wide array of fitness levels. However, they were all super friendly, welcoming, and all seemed to have the same objective; to progress in their own personal fitness journeys.
After your first free week you get to participate in something called “roots foundational classes.” Here, you’ll establish a solid foundation while learning the basics and focus on proper techniques. Before you know it, you’ll be back in the mix with the regular classes, but the learning doesn’t stop here. The coaches at Grand Mesa really care about their members. They are attentive to your goals, are happy to answer your questions, work to continually build healthy habits, and understand that you may not be able to do all the movements. Have no fear, there are modifiers for everything to accommodate any skill level.
Remember, we all start out as beginners no matter our fitness backgrounds or lack thereof. It’s about being better than you were yesterday, your only competition is you. You find yourself wanting to improve and you have fun doing it. If that’s not captivating enough, the culture is amazing too. COME FOR THE WORKOUTS, STAY FOR THE MEMBERS! My only regret is I didn’t start sooner.

I was very overweight once this is when I started CrossFit after Kelly and I met. I took me and the boys and we all needed it badly. Nobody made comments to me. They encouraged me when I went to this particular gym and I had struggled with weight my whole life, I still struggle with it. You never know what people are going through. You never know if they have a chronic illness or trauma that has been keeping them overweight. We never know what we are going through and the fact that we make the effort is the most important thing. He was so thankful for so many of the folks at this gym that encouraged me.

Despite having a great crowd and decent place, Grand mesa CrossFit is not up to the mark. Their service = 2/5, interactions and communication with members = 1/5.
May be All the trainers at GMCF are good athletes but only few were good coach’s.
What good is a class when you can’t hear what a coach is explaining in the start/during a class. It’s like watching an action movie on mute!!! I strongly suggest them to have an audio mic system for this.
I tried to communicate these concerns with many coaches and the owner, it looks like owner doesn’t care our concerns.
I attended whitetail first for few months and continued into grand mesa after the merger. Whitetail was a great place and overall I rate them 4.0/5
FYI, due to my travel job I had an opportunity to attend 11 CrossFit places in 8 years and I would never recommend Grand-mesa!

I decided to return to Crossfit after being away for about 5-6 years. I came back and worked with Rebecca. I felt welcomed, wanted there, and supported, and I haven't even been there that long!
I'm grateful to see the workouts on their apps ahead of time, and booking a class is so very simple. There's always one person in the different classes I attend that tell ME good job. It's a confidence booster, and I don't think they realize how helpful it is to someone whose been away for so long.
I will keep coming back every day, stronger and better than the day before, and if you are looking/wanting the same, come to Grand Mesa !

I’ve done competitions and events at Grand Mesa for years and have always had a great experience. Finally decided to get in there to work out and I am loving it. GMCF has provided so much more than just an awesome challenging workout. It has provided mental clarity when I needed it most this year and focus only on my goals for one hour a day, pushing myself to my limits. My Daughter joined shortly after they opened and I followed suit a few years later. I'm from Houston and dropped in while visiting family in Liberty Hill and DEFINITELY picked the right box. The facility was spacious, neat and clean. Coach Kyle was attentive and thoroughly went through the warm ups and WOD. You're not a client or a number, you're a friend the minute you walk in, if Rebecca isn't the first person to give you a smile and a welcome, then one of the many other members will. I absolutely love everything about Grand Mesa. I was brand spanking new to crossfit and they welcomed me with open arms. It didn't take long until I felt like family. Not knowing much about crossfit really made me hesitant to start, but I am so glad I did.
It's one of the best exercises I have ever been a part of. It combines weight lifting with the right amount of cardio.
The coaches are extremely knowledgable and very helpful with each person's specific needs. One of the coolest parts was seeing other members from all walks of life doing the classes. You have wise, young, big, small and such.
The free week of training helped me make the decision, although I was sold after day one. If you haven't tried crossfit, you should...no matter what your goals are. And Grand Mesa is the place to go!
