I signed up my daughter at Legacy Gymnastics Academy thinking that this place would be a great place for a child with no Gymnastics, or any other sport, experience. However, on the second day at this facility, a young, inexperienced, impatient coach, who obviously does not know what "beginners", "child", or "patience" means, criticized my daughter the entire session for not following "her" instructions. Instructions that may have been understood by experienced gymnast, but NOT by a new, confused, lost, 4 year old. This coach proceeded to "nitpick" at my daughter's every mistake instead of teaching or demonstrating proper technique. She even pulled my daughter aside in front of everyone and asked her to "listen" and to "follow instructions"...instructions she clearly did not understand on her second day. Clearly this facility does not train or prepare these young coaches in child behavior, patience, and understanding.

Not a good place for beginners who are not 5 and under. Very young instructors who obviously don't understand what beginner means telling my poor kid to do stuff he clearly doesn't know how to do then getting upset with him because he can't! We were both upset after only 1 visit here. They need to instruct all their teachers that new kids need to be worked with especially in a beginner to make sure they know what to do. They are here to teach them, not belittle them. Which is how my son felt since he was the only one who couldn't do what she wanted. Definitely a more advanced class then beginner from what I saw! We will go elsewhere where they will teach him, not just expect him to know what to do.

I love this gym. My daughter just joined back up after a slight absence due to us moving back into our "Harvey flooded" home. This gym is hard working and at times challenging to our little ones, but it teaches them great dedication, hard work and rewards for that hard work. They have teams they can try out for and if make it they can compete in actual competitions. It teaches our children how to be apart of a team and that with hard work comes success. I'm proud to have my daughter be apart of this gym.

Legacy Gymnastics has been an awesome experience for my daughter and the rest of the family. We started out bringing her 2 times a week for an hour to keep her active. She was doing flips, splits, and back bends at home before starting gymnastics. She would watch Gabby and say she wanted to be like her. So, when she started Legacy Gymnastics, the Legacy coaches saw potential in my daughter and allowed her to eventually try out for team. We have been here for 1 1\2 years and she is doing things that I never thought she would be doing. The staff and owners of this gym are AWESOME and they care about the well-being of your child's growth in this sport and their dreams of becoming a great gymnast!! Everyone here are like family, and the gym offers several things.

Legacy isn't just a gym, this is a family. My daughter has been with Legacy for two years and is on the competitive team and now my littlest little girl attends the TumbleBee class. Both girls love it!! The owners are fantastic people who truly care about their athletes. Amy and Nik (owners and coaches) are very personable and great to work with! We love the support the athletes show each other and how amazing the parents are. We cheer for everyone's kiddos. :-) This is a competitive gym, and as such the athletes work hard, but my little girl has learned and grown so much, both mentally and physically. I could not be happier with Legacy, from the owners to the coaches, to the kids and families. If I could give it more stars I would!
