After having a Baby and just living life through the motions I researched and reached out to a local personal trainer, Amanda Cherry was the first to come up! Even though through my adolescents and young adult years of Volleyball and personal training I was very nervous to see where I was at on the strength spectrum along with how my knee would with stand the training. SO I called and Made the assessment appointment and so thankful I did!
We started out with our assessment. This was a very low key & low intensity observation of my techniques and strength and took only a total of 45 minutes . She watched my techniques at different angles and then would correct in a way that I would understand.
After signing up with one of her packages and her ability to work around a wrist and knee injury years ago, she encouraged me to lift weights like I used to but in the correct form. I have been with her 4 out of my 10 sessions and I have not experienced any knee and wrist pain. Her technique and training has expressed that you need to teach the correct form before adding weight and I couldn't be more grateful for that! She truly wants the best and long term results for her clients. I would highly recommend her EVERYONE no matter the level of fitness, from beginners to professionals!

I hadn’t worked out in a very LONG time and was dreading going back. Amanda made it a great experience. She is extremely knowledgeable and scaled the programming to my fitness level and prior injuries. So happy I went. I am already sore af, but looking forward to going back.

In the last four weeks I have gone from someone who never liked to workout, to working out being the best part of my day!
I really like that all I have to do is show up. Coach Cherry always has the whole session meticulously laid out so all I have to do is listen, then do the work.
I’m really excited about the physical changes that have happened in the last month but equally if not more excited about how much my attitude and mood have have improved drastically in that same time.
Best thing I’ve done for myself in a long time!

Schedule a consult today!!! Amanda listened to my goals and customized a plan to help me succeed! I was able to confidently wear a beautiful gown at my daughter’s wedding because of her personal training skills. She was always on the floor on time, tuned in to me, and kept my workouts exciting and different, rarely repeating moves! I was NEVER bored! She even knew which music to play to get me fired up! I am now more comfortable in the gym environment period; with setting up my equipment or just taking classes. At 52, I’m stronger mentally and physically more so than ever thanks to AMANDA CHERRY FITNESS!

I came to Amanda to help me understand and show me how to work out while I recovered from ankle surgery. At this time I could not bare any weight on my left ankle. Amanda set up the equipment needed and explained what we’re going to do. As I was doing the reps, she was explaining to me what each set was working out, holding me accountable to my body position, and making sure my ankle was comfortable. I feel so empowered to continue working out through my journey of ankle recovery! Thank Amanda!

Amanda has great knowledge of movement and body mechanics, and used that to work around injuries and body issues ( back, neck, knees) to design productive workouts. Keeps it fun too, my music being played while going for personal best was a nice touch!

Amanda is the best personal trainer I have ever used. She is attentive, challenging in the best way, and truly listens to what your goals are and formulates a plan to help you hit your goals. Mine were to build balanced strength in my body because other workouts had left me with an Imbalance in muscle strength.
