Visiting from out of town and the team has been amazing. The group fitness instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming. The front desk team printed off class schedules for me. The life cafe team prepares meals quickly and the food is tasty. When I locked myself out of my locker the a cleaning teammember helped me and verified my belongings. Im so happy to be welcomed to this facility.

Very nice facility and staff was extra friendly. They had a sauna and hot tub but no pool.
It was refreshing to see they had a basketball court. I definately reccomend this one. You won't be disappointed.

I’ve visited a bunch of Life Time locations by now. I’ve always supported that for the price you pay, you definitely do get what you pay for. For this location specifically, it’s probably one of the nicest staff I’ve seen in a Life Time. From the hostess at the concierge, to the trainers. Very knowledgeable and welcoming.

It’s pretty dingy but it’s older. This location doesn’t blast the music for all the lifters to listen to while the fitness classes are happening so that’s a plus. As a girly who loves to hit glutes (hip thrusts) it’s really hard to do here. Their glute machine is terrible and their one smith machine sucks.

This location was not as bad as some reviews made it. Definitely not a traditional LifeTime layout with some amenities missing, but for the most part, the facility was very clean and I appreciated towels being readily available on the treadmills as well as in the locker room under the hair dryers. Team members were very nice and welcoming. Was in town and staying nearby and visited this location both Saturday and Sunday in the early morning and left before 10am. It was not busy, minus the basketball court, but can tell as I left that it was getting there. Provided pictures on how to find/get to the elevators in the connecting parking garage and the facility is located on the 7th floor. I am not sure how the parking situation and pricing goes as my stay was in walking distance. Overall, a nice, clean location, near shopping and dining, and like many LifeTime locations, accessible from the highway. Would not mind visiting again if in the area.

The front desk, specifically Julian , was very unwelcoming during our visit. We were questioned extensively despite being Lifetime members since 2011. The experience did not reflect the level of service we’ve come to expect from Lifetime.

I was really surprised by this Life Time location. It felt older, darker, and didn’t match the premium brand I associate with Life Time. Honestly, it gave off more of an LA Fitness—or lower—vibe. Fortunately, I was just visiting, because it would be tough to have this as a home gym. The hot tub area near the men’s locker room was noticeably dirty, and the lighting in the steam room was glaringly bright—more like a hospital wing than a relaxing spa. Not the experience I was expecting.

Extremely disappointed and concerned with the Kids Academy at Life Time Fitness.
I brought my 3-year-old son to the Kids Academy expecting a safe and properly supervised environment. Instead, he was hit on the bottom by an older boy wearing a hard cast. My son was visibly upset and told me himself what happened — he felt violated and hurt.
What’s even more concerning is that the staff never informed me about the incident. I only found out because my son had the courage to speak up. When I called to address it, all I was told was that they would “notify the parents” so it doesn’t happen again. That response is completely unacceptable.
A child being physically hit, especially with a cast, is serious. Timeout is not an appropriate consequence, and notifying the parents later shows a complete lack of urgency or responsibility. The other child’s parents should have been contacted immediately, and I should have been informed when I picked my child up.
This is not what I expect from a facility that promotes itself as family-friendly and safe. I’m very dissatisfied, and at this point, I do not feel comfortable leaving my child in their care. I hope Life Time corporate takes this seriously and puts proper protocols in place. Parents deserve transparency, and children deserve protection.

Adam, Bubba, Audra the best dynamic trio I have ever worked with! Lifetime has been absolutely phenomenal. From the dynamic stretch lab, training floor, to the spa and beyond, the training staff, program specialists, nutritional support, and more have been a pleasure to work with. This place blows equinox out of the water.

Not worth the price at all, wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for a gym. Fortunately, I have been grandfathered in at a lower rate, otherwise I would not pay the ridiculous $220+ monthly dues. The facility and equipment are out of date, half of the treadmills don't work, and for whatever reason they never get fixed. Lockers are consistently broken. The only good part of the membership for me is the included yoga classes, but at this rate they will probably make that an extra fee too... Very disappointing considering the absurd monthly dues that have gone up 3 times in the past year and a half. Unbelievable excuse of a Lifetime gym compared to the other Lifetime's in the suburbs... even compared to the LA Fitness's in the area that have invested in upgrading facilities. Do better.

Since beginning my training journey with Brandon Phan in July 2024, I have witnessed remarkable transformations in my physical well-being. Notably, I have successfully reduced body fat and simultaneously developed lean muscle mass. Moreover, my range of motion, form, and posture have significantly improved.
Each week, Brandon presents me with new and challenging workout routines that maintain my engagement and motivation. Furthermore, the training plan is meticulously structured, and Brandon consistently listens to my feedback, making adjustments to our nutrition and fitness objectives as we progress. His exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and unwavering dedication ensure that you can confidently achieve your fitness goals. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with the results.

I’ve been seeing Bubba Williams at Life Time - Dallas for several dynamic stretch and recovery sessions, and I can’t recommend him enough! His knowledge and expertise are evident from the moment you step into the room. He takes the time to understand your specific needs and goals, which really sets him apart.
I've noticed a significant difference in my flexibility and a decrease in soreness after my workouts since I started working with him. Bubba is not only attentive but also genuinely cares about his clients’ progress. His customer service is top-notch, making every session a pleasant experience.
If you're looking for a skilled recovery trainer who can help improve your flexibility and overall well-being, look no further than Bubba. I always leave feeling refreshed and ready to tackle my next workout!

This place has a horrible kids academy. I have went to plano, las colinas, and flower mound locations and so far this is the worst lifetime experience I’ve ever had, especially the kids academy. The ladies who work there have a bad attitude as soon as they see people bring in kids their faces get unhappy. They don’t engage with kids they are just standing there talking to each other and ignoring kids. They don’t have passion or empathy to deal with kids.Very bad experience.

For a lifetime the equipment was rather old and out of order, the floors and locker room were dirty, and the amenities such as the cafe, spa, and help desks were all closed by 6pm of a Friday. I currently go to the Las Colinas location in Texas and I believe that this location in Dallas doesn’t meet the standards of what a lifetime experience should be. I would find the gym standards acceptable if a membership was under $100, but a gym membership is upwards of $150.

Older lift time location located inside a business building. Facility is decently clean and well maintained. Employees are great and kind. Also has spa and cafe which is great for a quick pre or post workout bites. Has a multifunctional court for basketball pickleball volleyball. Some of the equipment is alpha racks and plates are older although they did recently add more alpha racks which was great. They don’t have a 8 station which is disappointing. Limited lat pull down, and row station thusly. Can be quite busy peak hours 4-6ish. Avoid if possible. Priciest tier of lifetimes in DFW currently, however I think this is due more to location and not so much facility and amenities as other facilities are more updated and spacious. Overall great gym.
Update 08/2024
As of late have noticed it seems like they do not run the AC very high as it is always warm on the weight floor.

The only normal complaint about this gym is that they have people selling stuff as you literally walk in before you can check into the desk. Probably one of the worst management decisions one could make is annoying your patrons the moment they exist at your facility. Bravo 👏🏻 let's just have a bouncer at the top that smashes in our faces next
I love when people both complain about the gym being packed, and then bring up the price after.
The gym is still best in the area aside from Equinox

I go here because there really isn't a good gym option within reasonable distance from my house. I don't care about the amenities and just want to use the gym, so this isn't really worth the cost. For what I'm paying I should have access to top name brands. This place has Technogym. Just cheap knockoffs of Hammer Strength, but with terrible range of motion. The company needs to stop acting like this is a top tier brand if they are going to be stingy when it comes to the equipment. Two stars because the staff is pretty cool even if the company sucks.
Update: it just keeps getting worse. It's impossible to follow a program because every machine is either taken by someone who loaded it down with weight and then does partial reps or the social partiers who jast stand around talking. I hate this place.

Life Time has started to limit members over 65 times they can work out? If you have a membership thru your insurance, you can only work out 9am to 3pm? This target elderly members, and this is enforced by the person when you enter the facility. Shame on you Life Time!

I was a member for 10 years and they kept raising the membership rate especially in the last 2 years it’s raised 3 times, doubling the fee I was paying. I went to the YMCA and they offer everything that LifeTime does for 1/3 of the price. When I put my notice in to cancel my LifeTime membership I never had anyone from corporate reach out asking if there was anything to do to keep their member of 10 years. Poor customer service in my opinion.

My family and I have been LifeTime members for many years and have visited LifeTime Fitness locations in several different states. We experienced the worst customer service at the Highland Park, Texas location a few weeks ago. I waited three weeks to do this review hoping that the front desk staff member would follow through on her commitment have the general manager call me. Unfortunately, I have not received a call and I suspect that the staff member never forwarded my concern to the general manager. Disappointed in the customer service at this location, but greatful for the amazing customer service I have received at the other LifeTime locations I have visited and my home gym. Still would be open to talking to the general manager about my experience.

I really, really love Lifetime in general. I have been a member off and on for over 20 years and in different states.
This facility is smaller than most others, but the price is still premium. The basketball court is the centerpiece of the club and the noise dominates, permeates the place.
The machines and weight-lifting areas are great, but it does get crowded during peak hours (between 4:30pm and 7:30pm). During this time, classes fill up pretty quick, too.
One of the biggest reasons I joined again was because I could enjoy the hot tub in the men's locker room without having to wear a suit. It makes it more of a spa-like experience. I hope this doesn't change.
I pay a lot for this club which doesn't have swimming pools, so the clothing-optional hot tub is a nice perk!

I came in as a guest to take a class with Brendan Rams and was yelled at by the him to leave when coming in a few minutes late as a result of hitting traffic because I was coming from 40 minutes away. I felt so belittled and embarrassed by my experience. I have never received this kind of treatment at any other lifetime I have visited. After the class ended another member approached me with the exact same experience. I am so disappointed that lifetime would allow their employees to treat members this way.

Not your typical Lifetime Fitness layout as it took over a preexisting high end gym. Super friendly and professional staff, from the front to the locker room to the trainers. My mother & I visited this gym for a whole week, while visiting my brother in the hospital. In spite of his hospitalization, this gym was a perfect place to maintain my health and sanity. It was spacious and clean, never overcrowded or cluttered. No one knew of my situation but ALL the staff showed genuine friendliness and good manners on top of professionalism.
Everyone made me feel welcome and at ease, and that supported my physical, spiritual, and mental health. I've been a member of Lifetime in Sugar Land, TX since it opened and visited several locations throughout Texas. This is my favorite location to work-out, just because the staff and management would give me peace of mind that my workout refuge is in good hands. I wish others could learn from them.

This gym is on the decline and it’s all due to poor management. I have been a member for years and there are other gyms in DFW that are nicer, cleaner, and have a friendlier staff (I won’t go into the trainers and their egos here). I love all their classes and equipment. It doesn't get too crowded to where you feel overwhelmed, but the right amount to where you feel motivated. For those complaining any gym you go to will be crowded during busy hours.. :). It always has a luxurious feel to this location. Convenient location to most Dallas areas. I do not feel the same way as the negative reviews and neither do all my friends that go here and have recently signed up. I cannot see myself working out anywhere else but at a Life Time club. This lifetime is a circus. Corbin Tufford “Club manager” let his highly incompetent staff throw away expensive equipment during the flooring remodel by accident to this date is still hiding it from Lifetime Corporate, Chanhassen, MN, for over a year.
Every time I ask, I just get another lie. Or desperate cover up. Equipment is still missing. It’s like Enron of Fitness Clubs.
The club does not send out communication when steam rooms or saunas are broken (which again, is lack of management) half the treadmills do not work and it is always excuses. What’s sad is this is supposed to be the top, Diamond club.
Horrible management.
Entire facility, operations and personal, need to be Audited by Lifetime Corporate Offices, Chanhassen, MN 55317.
It is and forever will be my strong belief that personal trainers are personal trainers. NOT businessmen, or management material for corporate entities.

There is an obvious lack of management and care for cleanliness. I am j sure what has been going on to Lifetime Dallas throughout 2022 but it needs to be addressed immediately. I frequent other locations from Allen, Alliance and Colleyville. Dallas is the filthiest from the bathrooms to the gym floors and to a general lack of not picking up. If you notice bathroom stalls you can tell they haven’t been wiped down in ages. You can come in when the open up and find the upstairs filled with trash, bathroom grout is filthy, you lay on the floor you immediately notice the floor wasn’t swept or mopped before they opened, so much metal in the men’s spa area has been rusted over, it took the 3 months to resolve an a/c problem, now most of the spa area, initials, and showers are closed. This isn’t a lifestyle gym anymore with all the filth and issues. The front desk has always been kind and the reason for the 2 stars. Someone needs to call the alliance to and find out their business model as they are always looking 100% each day and clean as if the t was just built every morning. Good management matters and would focus on the detail. Preventative attention minuses long term concerns and it’s very obvious no one is concerned about the long term for the customers and gym itself.

I have a been a member for several years now. This is not the gym it used to be. Management and staff are in dire need of retraining on how to operate a luxury/premier gym. The facilities, especially the men's locker room, need proper maintenance and cleaning. The mens locker room is always dirty, showers needs a deep cleaning, shower supplies and clean towels should always be available, and I don’t why there are temporary AC units. This is a nuisance. AC issues need to be fixed. If membership dues keep rising then so should customer expectations. Management and staff need to be mindful of all issues/concerns of proper upkeep of facilities.
Also, for future members, avoid going during peak hours (i.e. after work), you will encounter some of the rudest people who care nothing about personal boundries.

When you have a consistent complaint being filed and nothings being done - something seriously wrong. At peak hours you can’t have people sitting on your ONE of FOUR available squat racks for 45 minutes. Ridiculous.

This is luxury!? The locker room smells like mildew, there are temporary ac unites constant blowing air into the building just to keep it cool. The lockers don't work half the time. The blow dryers never work. The water smells terrible. And the building is falling apart around you. It's a crime what they charge for this disaster. Save your money.

Honestly, this gym is only awesome to someone who has never been to another gym in their life before. The amount they want you to pay, $179 per month + tax, is absurd for equipment that is at least 10 years old and there is a lack of variety and quantity of the popular workout machines. This is a gym that you can easily get angry with if you go during it busy time because of the lack of popular machines. The staff is friendly and that is why they get two stars. But friendly staff is not worth $179 a month. I have worked out at gyms that were $100 a month that were way better than this one, like Cowboys Fit in Frisco or even an LA fitness Signature club for $50 is far superior. They should be priced at $100 a month that would be reasonable. And it's a smaller Lifetime gym compared to others in their system. A gym that charges $179 month should have better than a 3.8 rating on Google. It should be 4.8.

Recently joined after becoming a refugee from Baylor Tom Landry. Cowboys Fit acquired and closed for remodeling. Lifetime has the staff, atmosphere, quality, and equipment that makes me eager to get with it as often as I did with my old spot. May have found a new home.

Definitely not your “typical” Lifetime fitness, but still a nice gym. Very nice staff and trainers, and a very clean and organized facility. The weight room is significantly smaller than most Lifetime facilities, and the free weight area gets very busy during peak morning hours. The stretching/open area is limited to a very small space as well, but the cardio room is a nice size with plenty of available cardio machines. Overall a nice gym, but very surprised to see that this is considered a Diamond level facility.

Wanted to take a second to share with you a hidden gem here on Mockingbird.
Bobby is one of the most superb individuals I have ever met - in or outside the gym. She is highly dedicated to her profession, extremely attentive to others, and just generally a good human being.
I was a newby at this gym somewhere around a year ago, struggling with a morning treadmill routine, when Bobby came up and introduced herself to me. I told her I was tired, and the next thing I knew she brought me a double espresso!! We’ve best friends ever since.
She always checks up on me, invites me to her classes, and her well of love never runs dry. If for no other reason, this Lifetime location is made whole because of this lovely woman.

I am impressed with this facility. The hours of the gym and kids club are phenomenal for working parents. The staff is friendly, the areas are clean, the selection of equipment and classes are fantastic. In addition, the amenities on site make it VERY convenient. The staff and management at Life Time are working hard to exceed expectations and they are doing an outstanding job.

Clean and it never feels too crowded. Polite staff. Good food for post workout. But I'm here to talk about Billy in the LifeSpa! He is an AMAZING hairstylist. Gave my wife the best haircut she's ever had! If you need a new stylist, a new look, or just want something new he's your man. Extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what he's doing and why. My wife was very nervous because she's had bad luck lately at "high end" salons, but he put her at ease within a few minutes. His confidence goes right up to the line, but doesn't cross over into becoming arrogant or condescending. Both of my daughters have already made appointments with him and I will be in to see him soon. Trust me on this : That man is the truth. My wife and I were both stunned what he was able to do with what was previously a terrible ($400) hair cut from some supposedly "famous" hairdresser. I encourage everyone to go see this extremely talented young man before Hollywood or New York City finds out about him!

This is the worst lifetime I’ve ever been to. It’s overcrowded. They charge premier gym prices and you get less amenities than other lifetime gyms. The sauna and womens locker room are filthy. There were used feminine hygiene products stuck behind shampoo bottles in the showers. Hair stuck to the walls, and hair brushes that hadn’t been cleaned or sanitized.
Womens locker room also has no steam room while the mens does?
Equipment is also all outdated and half the treadmills make a terrible grinding noise if you run on them.
I definitely recommend a different gym.

I have been a member of lifetime for several years. I have been to several clubs as well as “premium” clubs such as this one. This club is the least professional, most dirty, and run down lifetime fitness I have ever been to.
The staff struggles to call you back when you’re trying to purchase additional services. The Locker rooms are dirty. The equipment is run down some and some of the treadmills are boarder line dangerous to run on unless you weigh less then 150 pounds.
I recommend spending just a little bit more and going to Equinox Gym or spending a lot less and go to Anytime Fitness. Both would be significantly nicer, cleaner, and less busy during all times of the day.
Very disappointing after being with lifetime for so long.

This is a "Diamond" club solely because of its location, not because of its offerings or upkeep. The last Diamond club at which I was a member - Houston Greenway - had a coworking space, 2 outdoor pools, outdoor dining, and a bar in addition to the cafe. Life Time Highland Park has none of this, but charges the same rate. There's not even a pool. You'll have to go to Addison for Garland for that, both of which are better maintained clubs.
Pros: Friendly front desk staff, convenient location & parking, and a little extra cardio with every workout since it's like Frogger dodging the basketballs you have to walk past to access the free-weights and machines.
Cons: Cockroaches in the locker room. Stay in the dry sauna long enough and you're bound to see them. At any given time 80% of the lockers are taken because this Life Time does not enforce single-day use. 6am in the morning and the club has 30 people in it? Even then, you'll be hunting for an open locker. No club can manage the behavior of its members, but it's as if this Lifetime encourages weird behavior. Why else would you have 3 OUTDOOR lounge chairs crammed in the corner of the locker room by the hot tub and steam room? It's just inviting weird member behavior - like the guy who naps on the lounge chairs some mornings.

Positives: strong variety of new and advanced weight training and cardio equipment on the main floors, diverse class offerings, good hours, aesthetically a nice atmosphere to be in.
Cons: Mens locker room is in dire need of updates and improvement - broken and worn lockers, cracked and stained steam room tiling (for an Onyx club this is reminiscent of a gold level locker room from 10 years ago), certain treadmills and spin equipment are consistently broken or out of order, steady membership price increases.
Verdict: For an Onyx club, this location lacks updates and improvements to critical areas of the gym, such as the locker rooms and spin rooms that other clubs have made. If the price continues to increase without improvements, it will make more sense to look at Equinox as the stronger alternative.

RE Lifetime Spa Hairstylist Rebekah;
I moved to Dallas a couple years ago and had the worst time finding a blonde stylist who was affordable and could give me the blonde I wanted. I found Rebekah a few months ago and AM SO THRILLED.. she read my mind and created the most perfect blonde to match my style and skin tone, all the while took measures to protect my hair from unnecessary chemical exposure. All aside, she gives the most extensive and satisfying head massage during the washout… cuts no corners, puts the work and time in. She is clearly experienced and talented. I will not be looking for another stylist

It gets more than 1 star because it IS a very nice facility and the price is reasonable for what they offer. I have been a member off and on for 13 years, I've worked for the company for a few years. I had to instate a medical freeze recently because I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and Covid would be a death sentence.
They forgot to freeze my membership and I was charged, THEN when I asked for a refund, they forgot to do that as well. So I call back and am obviously irate. They swear they'll get it right this time. About a week and a half goes by and nothing hits my account so I disputed the charge. I then asked for a membership cancellation and they swore it would be effective immediately, but I got charged AGAIN this month.
This whole back and forth nonsense went on for several weeks. I'm really shocked that Lifetime has let their customer service get this poor.
