This is a sad excuse for lifetime. Will never be back. Bad facilities. Bad men’s room. No toiletries.

Buttt. I can’t even get into frisco 4x a year because I don’t have super mega deluxe pass.

Unreal.

i don't care what ya'll say if this place is a 3.8 average this is still a 5 star lfetime for me i't so spacious and not a lot of kids hogging the court and plenty empty on the weeekends!!! did i mention they recently renovated the basketball courts too? just a belt squat rack away from home run

Man this gym always has its Jacuzzi in maintenance, it’s looking a little outdated, I see a lot of equipment with signs that say resting. It’s becoming a joke for what they charge. Fitness connection across the street just revamped there gym n looks a lot better. Leaving this over priced gym.

Nice facility and staff, strangely not so nice locker rooms. After many visits I confirm these are consistent findings:
Off all 6 locations i regularly visit during working travels, this is the only one with stinky towels, no shaving gear, mouthwash? deodorant, conditioner, aftershave, tips, etc. The Towels truly smell like if you leave coffee on your desk for 3 weeks and then get a wiff of the moldy smell. The only steam room that smells like that same mold. It pains me personally that they dont accept cash as other locations. But Overall Lifetime fitness is still the best I wouldnt want any other gym even with this location being the least sanitary.

The positives: Besides that its still the best companywide fitness center ive ever been to personally by a long shot so thats a huge positive in itself, Addison is the only location ive seen with Food and beverages available at the front counter for when the café is closed. I love that. I dont recall there being a 2nd floor so I do like that its more of a simple layout but one could prefer otherwise. Unlike garland they do have a basketball court as most centers do. They also charge less a month than some locations such as plano so thats nice. Its clear why this location is less trending but its not lost either.

Tricia runs a very clean, very friendly club! I was visiting from out of state and found that this is the “Cheers” of gyms. The staff are so friendly and the members are too! I noticed many of the members all know each other and were chatting it up and welcomed me, they definitely could tell I was new!
While it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of other Life Times, the child care, cafe, indoor pool and hot tub are all the amenities I need to complete a good workout.

Visited the gym around 11am on Sunday and was surprised to find no towels available. When I asked about it, the response I received was, “No, doesn’t look like it. We’re running short,” followed by the staff member turning away. For a membership that costs over $150 a month, I expect the basics—like towels—to be reliably available. Disappointing experience.

I came in on Friday afternoon to swim with my toddler and after changing in the bathroom one of the front desk girls came to say the pool is only available for family swim 3 times a week. I looked up the hours in the app and I couldn't find anything tht said this. Then she said it was there and tried to find it but she couldn't find it either. The membership to Lifetime is on the high end of memberships and this is not the service you expect for what we spend every month. The family swim should be available every day and at the very list the schedules should be updated accurately on the app.

Canceling this membership was one of the best decisions I’ve made in recent months.

The facility falls far short of the standards you’d expect from a brand like Life Time, yet they continue to charge premium prices. In terms of cleanliness and equipment quality, it feels more like an LA Fitness or Planet Fitness.

Many of the machines are outdated or poorly maintained and some have torn padding, while others are so old they require two people just to adjust.

On top of that, they keep raising the monthly fees without making any visible improvements. The loud, “CrossFit-style” classes held in the middle of the gym are also incredibly disruptive. I can hear them clearly over my headphones, which makes it hard to focus on my own workout.

I will say the staff is friendly overall but there are far better deals in the neighborhood with a better quality/price point for what you get.

Giving this 5 stars purely because of the professionalism displayed by Chance Nichols. He is attentive and all around nice guy. I have been to many lifetimes across Texas and he has stuck out as one of the best I have had the pleasure of working with. As for the gym itself it has the essentials and a basketball court. Typically not very busy which is a plus. As far as the amenities other newer lifetime locations offer it isn’t quite on par however it does seem like an older location.

Ok yall are a bad company i didn't even get past the reviews and pricing on line before I was like absolutely not. Yall apparently have tons of problems here and the pricing is ridiculous aside from the fact is extremely prejudice to an unethical to offer a lower pricin for those 26 and under. Not sure who made that up but that's discrimination. I can gaurentee as someone who knows how the business scene works quite well... this location will get shut down pretty much gaurenteed. Thank God I like many others should.. but thank God I did my research. I will never sign with a place that has these standards and discrimination agaisnt people so blatantly and it literally is acted out and shown in the pricing when ya make it cheaper for those 26 and under... why? That makes no sense if anything it seems like a creepy or cringy attempt to get young people in the door
Even if I was 26 or under I'd see that pricing issue and aside from it being overpriced no matter what membership ya get. But even if I was 26 or under I'd see the pricing issues and that would be the thing and is the reason I'm not signing up... aside from the massive amount of other issues yall have based on reviews. And as someone who doesn't have soft snowflake filter. I can tell yall if the folks that work there are being like the reviews say and I don't doubt the reviews when there's multiple ones sayin the same things. But as someone who don't put up with bs and has no snowflake filter the way things are being ran here I can promise it's goin to lead to a lawsuit or a physical altercation cause some are fed up with the bs in this world and other people being lazy rude and sloppy.

Filthy bathrooms and showers, broken equipment, little or no towels, skyrocketing fees, rude staff who have been told that customers are the enemy. The only reason I go here is because of the location and the pool. I look forward to cancelling my membership as soon as another gym opens up in the area.

An expensive Planet Fitness, multiple music sources playing at the same time by the gym. It's bad enough when you have the occasional rude person playing their music on their speaker phone, this place takes it to another level. I asked them to at least close the door when it's a class, but they leave it open and drown the gym with noise.

2/22/2025 - the fire alarm went off and there was no way to understand the instructions, as three or four different sources of music were playing. I pray they don't have a real fire.

4/15/2025 - Coincidentally, they have raised our monthly rate to $351 for a family of three. If things were great maybe that wouldn't be so bad. But when you have very little water pressure from the water fountain, and it looks like the picture below, perhaps it's time for a change.

it was $75 per month in 2019 and now it’s $140, with absolutely zero enhancements since then, if anything it’s only gotten worse. the primary reason i have kept this membership is because it’s the only place nearby with a steam room, but that’s also shut down half the month. i’ll be cancelling next month. to charge $140 for this level of service is absolutely comical.

They close at 10 on Friday night not 11. Google says they close at 11. This used to be an amazing gym with lots of great classes but the quality gym has steadily gone down while the price has gone up and up. I now pay $150 a month. I'm only allowed to use the gym ( the least nice lifetime in the DFW) and Garland which is way too far from me to be useful.

We came here got a wonderful tour from Erwin yesterday,we felt the very welcoming environment ,the gym is very clean and organized,we love the swimming pool has a beach entry so we can let our 9 months old baby play in there .I love their yoga room and I was told I can use the room as long as there’s no class session.Everything was great until this morning I got in the yoga room, there’s this yoga instructor Cat Breyfogle was there and the moment she saw me entered the yoga room, she said “You should take off your shoes “ in a rude tone,i feel weird but still I politely said “okay I am sorry.” When I was taking off my shoes ,she said “ you are NOT supposed to use the yoga room “ ,again in a very rude tone. So I walked out and asked other staffs if I can use yoga room, they said “yeah of course you can use it”. So this Cat lady was lying about the yoga room is not available also the way she talked to me is very rude .I also heard from other staffs that I am not the first person complain about her, she’s rude to multiple members in the way she wants. I was thinking of cancel the membership but we do love this gym besides everybody else here are so friendly so we will keep the membership, but I hope her manager can do something or at least talk to her so she can learn not to bullshit also train her how to respect people cause obviously her parents didn’t teach her well.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with an experience I had at your facility on December 16, 2024, at approximately 9:00 PM. The behavior of the front desk staff member on duty at that time was exceptionally rude and unprofessional. This individual's conduct was far below the standard I expect from a reputable establishment like Lifetime Fitness.

As a result of this negative interaction, I will be canceling my membership. I believe in providing constructive feedback, and I hope that this matter will be addressed to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

I have been a member of lifetime since 2013. We occasionally will stop by other gyms to change before events if we do not have time to head home. We have always loved the accessibility and had no issues with lifetime as a whole. My girlfriend notified me there were 2 men in the woman’s locker rooms working on things.. they didn’t notify her at the front desk and when confronted they stated they “had signs posted that the showers were closed”. Kayla or McKayla didn’t apologize and was matter of fact that there were men working in the women’s locker rooms. Mind you this is 430pm on a Friday. Regardless if the showers were closed wouldn’t you think to notify women checking in? This completely unacceptable and far from “upscale”. The leadership and check in staff has failed miserably, I would expect much more from Lifetime.

Awful. Tried it out and it's so crowded full of people and there was no space to find a corner and jump rope or do my boxing training. Literally just people everywhere in the way. It would be good if you're a regular person trying to losing weight but there is not enough space for any type of athletic movement

I've been a LifeTime member for over 9 years. Although the North Dallas (Addison) location is not my "home" facility - I very much enjoy the gym, atmosphere, & especially the staff. I have to be honest in that the reason why I drive out of my way to this location is for the instructor Deb B, who does an absolute amazing job leading ALL her classes (Strickly Strength, Cycle, MAXOUT) The energy is ALWAYS upbeat and challenging. I leave feeling better physically, in a more positive mood and confident about my fitness journey.

Thank you, LifeTime North Dallas, & Deb B! 🙂🧘‍♀️💪

The staff have been excellent. Pools are very nice. No pickleball here and that’s very disappointing. They seem to put towels on the treadmills and I find it unsanitary. Just let members grab it from a neat pile. I thought the machines were out of service. Some towels drop on the floor, drop lower on the screen. It’s just not necessary to put them on the machines where the members wonder if this towel is clean.

I frequent another Lifetime location and went here one time due to some scheduling craziness. Long story short, this place is not worthy of the Lifetime brand. The equipment was fine, but the locker room was in very poor shape. This was by far the lowest quality Lifetime gym I have seen. If you are going to go there for a quick workout and then leave, it’s totally fine. If you want to get ready there post-workout, this likely isn’t the place for you.

I actually hate doing this review because this used to be a very decent nice gym but recently since it started this year, the gym has been going downhill ever since the new management that is currently there has stepped in. Everything has gotten progressively worse. The membership has gone up in price and it does not justify what we as clients pay for . Now it feels like we’re going to either a fitness connection or a planet fitness type gym but with a super overhyped price. I start with maintenance most of the machines now need some type of maintenance and have parts missing or the cables are damaged and they just replace this machines as well by the way. The restrooms are completely dirty for the last two weeks they have not been clean at all literally the men’s urinals and toilets have pee, stains, and poop stains in the men’s restroom. They never really fill up the soap with actual soap they just out of water and dilute it. that’s not sanitary and honestly, if this continues, I will rip be reporting you guys to OSHA. One of the main guys that they hired for cleaning literally hates being there you can see in his face and he rarely even cleans at all. Try to hire better staff and pay them better. Corporate needs to figure this out. According to my girlfriend, the girls restrooms are also dirty for the last two weeks without proper cleaning I mean seriously what are we paying for? The previous cleaning staff was all Hispanic and they kept it meticulously clean. They were also very nice. I think the current management it’s just stuck on getting clients for their physical trainers, and if you guys are really just focus on that this place will fall apart not to mention that your stock earnings are already falling off a cliff do you really want make this any worse? And yes, I really hope corporate reads this.

So I decided to give this gym a try as a backup gym since I go to John Reed and sometimes I’m tired of driving so much after a long day. I vaguely remember coming here for like 2-3 days when I first moved here from Chicago last year and I absolutely hated it. Today I go after being out of the gym for sometime after a foot injury (not relevant but what ever) and I come here, I was so excited and I asked to check out some machines I like to use at John Reed to see if they have them here. So looked like they had some similar ones. So I went ahead and signed up. As I signed up and went to go use the machines, they were in TERRIBLE shape the ab equipment was rusted and pulling back as I used it, this can probably cause back injury) and the other was so old it barely works. This honestly reconfirmed why I didn’t come back to this establishment after trying it out. but I work long hours and at times and I need a gym I can go to. And as I was working out right AFTER I signed up, the last days they’re closing in 15. Despite the fact that Google and Apple Maps says closing at 11. They closed at 10 on Friday. And she’s like, “we go by the app” well if you’re not a member and you’re looking for a gym that fits your schedule and you JUST signed up, how am I supposed to know that this doesn’t work for me if only members have access to the app! And businesses are in charge up setting up google hours and I know this because I manage businesses! I used to be a member of lifetime Skokie in Illinois before I moved here, beautifully well-kept 2 story gym and this is just a sad mess in a sketchy lot. I thought for Addison they’d make some improvements. It’s lifetime for Godsakes. I only use high-end gyms and this is a joke. I’m sorry. Same reason I ran last year will be the same reason I run this time too. I’m going to equinox in Plano. It’s the second closest.

If you are really into fitness don’t waste your time and money here. Most equipments are non standard, they lack real body building equipment in enough numbers. This is only good if you are going to gym for facilities like pool (which they have a really good one) or are
extremely rich and hate working out next to ordinary people. Otherwise, you can get much better bodybuilding equipment in other gyms with half or 1/3rd of price

5/19 update: The transient has been banned from the gym.

The facility needs a deep cleaning with close attention to detail. Members have also been complaining about the towels having blood spots on them. I bring my own now.

5/10: Today, the transient was in the basketball court area with his pants down to his knees, no shoes or socks on and lying on the basketball court bench. Mind you, this gym has a kid center.

Last week the transient was wiping blood off his legs and throwing the bloody tissues around in the basketball court area by the bench. He left popcorn and soda bottles and walked around barefoot on the basketball court literally barking. He also stood up front and did a wild jig dance as ppl were coming in. Smh lol. The front desk said they’d clean up and sanitize and there’s nothing else they can do because he pays his fee monthly.

Initial post:

3 points to make but trust that i could say more. #1 There was a junior sized cockroach in women’s locker 85. It had the distinctive markings and was definitely a damn roach. I don’t use the locker room anymore. #2 I don’t know if they have contracted with a shelter or what, but for the last 3 months I have seen 2 homeless ppl walking and pacing the floor, working out, leaving trash everywhere, yelling obscenities, having poor hygiene, etc. I and several others have voiced a concern, but nothing is done about it as if an employee is the parent to one of them or something. #3 The gym is dirty, the machines do not get thoroughly cleaned and nor does the carpet. I have seen the same spills on the machines and dirt around the machines for weeks. Been here for many years and can honestly say that the gym went downhill when Tricia started managing it. I’m actively looking for a new gym.

Honestly one of the worst GYMS I’ve ever been to. At least fitness connection charges $10/month. Here 7 out of 10 machines aren’t working, the floor is constantly slippery, the lockers are dirty and out of soap 90% of the time. The bathroom doors don’t lock and apparently you can’t bring a backpack while working out. So you have to hold water, wrist straps, towels, headphones, and everything else you need in your hands. I have had a membership at this location for 6 years. The equipment provided is well maintained and there is usually no wait because of the number of machines they have. The weight training circuit is superb! There are wipes available for cleaning each machine, if needed. The free weights area is expansive. There is a yoga studio, aerobics studio, swimming pool, sauna, child care facility, locker rooms with restrooms and showers. The small amount I pay each month is more than reasonable for what is provided to its members. I also receive a monthly magazine called Life Experience. There are complimentary towels available, but I prefer to bring my own. There is a cafe on-site which is open during the day. There are multiple television screens on with subtitles located in front of the treadmills, cycles and elliptical machines. Great place to workout.

The gym as a whole is OK in that most things work and it's decently clean, but for what they charge now with the recent price increase, I wouldn't recommend it. Some of my main issues:
- The hours used to be better, but they cut them due to covid, then never reverted them back.
- They have too many events for kids/daycare. They'll just stick a table in the middle of the basketball court and have kids do arts and crafts, and this goes on all summer. Do I have to plan my gym visits around daycare events? You have a separate kids room, keep them in there, and stop interfering with other areas of the gym.
- They don't care about maintenance/quality of the basketball court. The balls they provide are awful, the floor is dirty/slippery, and again, gets damaged by having little kids on there all the time. I've seen paint from their arts and crafts, glitter, etc.
- Lately, they seem to be OK with letting a homeless person live in the basketball court during open hours. He wears the same clothes every day, smells badly, behaves erratically, stares at other guests, but they don't do anything about it.

Update: that guy is still living in the gym 2 weeks later, and today I picked up a "fresh" towel stained with blood.

Update #2: More than 2 months after my initial review, they are STILL allowing the homeless guy to live in the basketball court. He leaves food trash, dirty shoes/clothing, and other messes all over the place. The other day, he was pacing the court talking to himself and then screaming obscenities, but the staff do nothing.

Update #3: It's been about 6 months since my initial review. The homeless guy is still there. The staff response was that he's "harmless" and pays his dues and doesn't live there. What a joke the management of this gym is - calls to corporate are ignored as well. I do not recommend giving Life Time your money unless you want to hear a homeless guy barking at you your whole workout.

I've been a member since October 2020 and starting off it was a great gym. Always clean, very kind staff, and incredible members. Up until last year (2023). Things started to feel like they were going downhill and I couldn't quite place why until I started talking to fellow members. Now that I am making other LifeTime locations my main gyms, I want to leave a review. Enjoy my list- hopefully I can save you money (there's nicer gyms for way less nearby, unless you can drive over to LifeTime Plano which is 100x better than this location)

First, let me start with something positive and the reason I didn't give this place 1 star-
-Santana, Reba, LeeDonna, and Ginger are the BEST instructors. They lead fun classes and have built phenomenal communities. I adore them, and am sad to leave them. Truly the best parts of this gym.

Now here are the reasons this place deserves the low rating:
-lack of staff causing random amenity closures (not a big deal, but it is annoying)
-lack of staff to stock bathrooms (they put water in the soap dispensers??), clean high traffic gym areas (there's hair, dust, dirt, etc. on the floor of the GTX space- they only mop when someone important from corporate is visiting)
-a homeless man lives in the basketball court during open hours and the staff doesn't seem to care... and in the evenings when I am there, he paces around the gym barking (yes you read that right), yelling, "fighting" imaginary boxing opponents, etc. I have brought this issue to corporate - but haven't been given a proper response.
-it's always super humid in the gym. Like the A/C doesn't work half the time or the circulation is bad or something. Most days I can grit my teeth and work through it, but sometimes, especially in those hot summer days, I can't.

It's sad because this gym used to be amazing and deserving of a LifeTime branding. Now it's just.. not. Don't get me wrong, it is still better than a lot of gyms (spacious, plenty of equipment, great class instructors), but for $100+ a month? Not really. Especially with a homeless man barking at you as he makes his rounds around the gym.

A joke of a company. Was confronted by an employee's husband, while I was seated and working out, who falsely represented himself as a manager in order to discuss an insurance claim where his wife rear ended me in their parking lot. Lied about having video, lied about it being a lifetime owned vehicle, and ultimately lied about how they weren't going to pay for it. After it became clear he was just being confrontational, and constructive dialogue was not going to occur due to his insulting manner, I left the conversation angrily and cursed at him on the way out in disbelief at the situation. He decided to move to the exit and wait for me by the exit where I curse at him on the way out for making such a stupid situation happen. Lifetime decided we were both in the wrong, but allowed us to keep our memberships after saying it's a zero tolerance policy for him confronting me, and for me cussing about it in a family friendly gym. Zero tolerance for just trying to exist in my own space. My life was put in danger by a guy who misrepresented himself, and completely suprised me while working out. Cancelled immediately as I cannot use the gym anymore with this in mind, they have wronged me and the provoking party had absolutely no repercussions. Will be reviewing with an attorney.

A bit disappointing. Good things are lots of variety of equipment when it works or has weights nearby. Not terribly crowded. Large stretching and warmup area

Downsides. The only staff that seem to work here are at the front desk. Too few squat racks. The free weight bench press are missing bars, weights and collars. There were only two resistance bands that I could find in the entire open gym area.

Needs a deep clean, some new weights and bars, and staff to engage with members when they walk in. It felt like TSA on arrival.

Locker room smells near the water fountain. Towels are thin and smell like chemicals.

I joined Lifetime in July because I was tired of planet fitness. BEST switch I could've done. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Corey B and Jay. They are the absolute best. They are serious about fitness and about making sure people reach there individual goals. Both are awesome trainers. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for an amazing gym. Everything is ALWAYS clean (equipment, showers, ect).

If your ideal gym experience is the equivalent of working out swamp adjacent then this place is for you. Extremely poor air circulation, you’ll be sweating before you even get to your first set. Had a terrible signup time with Ashley at the front desk.

She explained that I had come in too many times as a guest (twice) and needed to signup. Told her “No worries, my employer offers us a work program where they cover our gym membership at lifetime”. Having said that; I’m a guaranteed sale.

I was in a rush because I only have limited time for lunch to workout and she made it a point for me to fill out my info. Again, I am a guaranteed customer. The interesting part is that several of my coworkers have had terrible experiences with Ashley as well.

Hopefully, I won’t have to deal with a terrible experience next time. (I won’t hold my breath based off the reviews this place has).

This club is Obsolete in terms of Lifetime fitness clubs yet they charge $129!!! It's one of the oldest LT in Texas, if not the first. The ONE heavy bag they have is a JOKE a 10 yr old could knock it over with a good punch. Showers are disgusting...no modesty changing room (EASY fix as part of a club refresh which could include adding an outcase cage with a heavy bag) So no modesty and they won't let you use the Family locker room anymore unless you have kids, they say to protect the kids BUT you can walk in as a male or female into the opposite locker room (per their trans policy) and that's not considered a liability. But using the family locker room because you can change in privacy AND as a wheelchair bound person have a REAL ada shower, (The "ADA" shower in the reg locker room is same size as standard...NO ROOM AT ALL) Management doesn't listen, corporate doesn't care and this club should not be $125.... Fitness connection across the street is 10 or 20 bucks! LA Fitness is 45 bucks....both of these clubs offer better facilities than the carrollton location. Go visit Lifetime FlowerMound or PLano (Still overpriced at 215 but at least it LOOKS like it's worth it.) This Lifetime is a COMPLETE JOKE THOUGH....AND THATS PUTTING IT LIGHTLY.

I was a member at this gym for over 10 years loved it I knew everyone and even worked there at one point I signed up when it was 60$ a month and was ok with all the increases in price. I had a family emergency and asked to freeze my account the guy at the from desk said I had to sign to freeze I said ok. Then I come back after 3 month and they said my membership had been canceled and I haave. To pay the new raid of 130 a month. And I left many messages with Stacy at the front desk and she said a manager will reach out And I still haven’t heard anything! This is not how to do business lifetime is great just stay away from this location!

This gym would get a 4 star if it was priced like your tipical 24 hours or LA fitness at $40 per month but because it’s costs double at $85 and it’s just as mediocre I am giving it 2 stars. The fact that they have not fixed the Jacuzzi in months shows how much they value their customers. It also shows I have no dignity for continue being a member 🤔

When you go to lifetime, you’re going there for a premium experience. This location is far from it. They have weights, cardio, etc. but cleanliness is an issue. The men’s bathroom is almost always dirty and the showers smell. For what you’re paying, I expect more water dispensers. The one closest to the pool has been broken for a while. It still works but takes forever to fill up bottles. We only signed up for a month and overall it was just okay.

I really do like this gym. However, the hours aren't ideal. Many other locations close at 12am and then on weekends this establishment closes at 10pm; that is REALLY early especially considering that its a weekend..

I am not the only one that feels that the hours for this gym are horrible. We are paying $100~ a month for this gym and I think that should mean that it should be more accessible. 12am is the norm for many other lifetime locations and I really think this should be the case at least here. I obviously would love a 24 hour gym, but I understand that its unlikely that many people would use the gym after 12am.

And yes I know the $100 I'm paying is also for the amenities and other things the gym offers, but those things aren't important if you can't even use the gym on your schedule.

---

The only other cons I have about this place:
* The showers have some crazy bad smell. I'm not sure if they just need to do a deep cleaning of the pipes or something. ~ Resolved
* The basketball court could do with a little bit better upkeep. The floors are slippery. The balls are deflated and the nets can be scuffed at times.

Amenities super clean & fun to use:
Pool

Basketball Court
Jacuzzi
Sauna
Steam room etc…a little pricey but You most definitely get what your paying for.
Also they don’t make you sign or have a contract all they ask for is a 30 day courtesy notice & it’s quite the relief when you know your not getting tied into something in contract form.

Bad environment. I hate to say but the experience here is sorely lacking the Lifetime Experience. As an out of state member I came in this location last night and this morning. I started at this location 10 years ago with Lifetime. Now in Phoenix. I know at my club there are hundreds of members that have been members for 12-20 years and pay the 2005 price around $44 while currently this club is $119. So they gouge new members because their clubs are full of old members at a rate that doesn't pay the bills in 2022 yet when you leave and the front desk attendant has nobody there nor on the phone they don't even acknowledge the customer with a friendly greeting while leaving. Now this is a standard long running service and standard at Lifetime that frankly this isn't the only out of state gym while traveling I've noticed totally ignore the customers as they leave. Obviously they're comfortable blowing people off. Well this couldn't be more evident then the mens locker room. At my home gym which by the way is the same level club as this they have a male locker room attendant near all the time. Mayne in the late hours of Sunday night no which was the case last night. But on a Monday morning 830am and the place is dirty as can be with kleenex on the ground towels everywhere the sinks not maintained and wiped down. The place was flat out dirty bordering disgusting. Whoever the general manager at this club is should be ashamed at their work ethic and managerial skills. Obviously this club and I'd say Lifetime in general is getting very lax with the previous high standard that they set and maintaining that experience for their customers. Frankly shame on them. If I just wanted a cheap dirty gym there are plenty of those.

Not a bad Gym at all, and I have been to lifetime fitness gyms all over the country from the woodbury MN gym all the to founders way in Fort Worth and trinity Mills in dallas. While I understand having a 24 hour gym as it was pre pandemic is not feasible with the cost of labour these days and upkeep. Opening at 4am would be such a massive advantage. Especially for those of us in the corporate world who just want to get in early and have enough time to commute back home. If this gym could incorporate opening that extra hour earlier. It would be by far the best in the area.

*this is just a review for the studio classes*

Truly truly truly the BEST yoga classes I have ever attended in my life and I've been to studios all over LA and Dallas for years. Idk what they teach the teachers here but the caliber and expertise of the instructors here are top notch.

I've always been a casual yogi but since coming here to Life Time my practice and spirituality has grown. The teachers are all about going inward, dropping the ego, and focusing on your breath. I never feel that how they teach is inauthentic like some experiences I've had, where instructors just focus on spiritual "buzzwords" and don't provide depth or meaning to what message they're trying to convey. I've also noticed that all of the teachers are very knowledgeable on physiology and what your body is actually doing, which helps create imagery or visuals to deepen the postures and connect to your body.

I think since yoga has gotten very commercialized, the number of studios is so over saturated now and there is a real spectrum of the types of classes you will get when you enter a studio. Never could I have imagined that yoga classes offered at a GYM!!! could provide me with what Life Time has offered me.

The gym and other fitness classes are great too, space is very clean, staff is attentive and friendly, and I feel happy after I leave. I am gonna go as much as I can before I leave the DFW area. If you're looking for a nice gym experience without the attitude (no offense Equinox) then check out Life Time Fitness. So glad my parents dragged me here lmaoooooo.

Namaste‍ :)

I stopped in for a day pass to try out Lifetime. Excellent facilities in pristine condition; this is a beautiful gym. Wet and dry sauna, lockers with locks, showers, towels, basketball court, tons and tons of cardio equipment and sufficient weights. I'd be surprised if you ever have to wait for a cardio machine, but you may have to switch sets while waiting sometimes on weights during peak hours.

For the price, I feel like you get what you pay for... lots of other gyms in the area are 1/3 the price, so I plan to check out a few more before deciding.

I have a 2 year old, and I think if he was 3+ I would immediately purchase a membership here because of the kid center, weekly parents night out, swim lessons, etc. If I end up joining elsewhere, will see me back in about a year!

Ps Amber at the front desk was friendly, professional, informative and just awesome

The team that runs this particular LifeTime is outstanding. They always greet you with a smile, wish you a nice workout, and contribute to a very positive and energetic environment. There are a lot of great members at LifeTime as well, at all various points in their fitness journey. I love how diverse it is. There is a lot of positive support and camaraderie amongst the community, and some friendly competition. I love this gym, it's my favorite in the area. My one recommendation would be for the water fountains to be cleaned. They are always very dirty and look like they've never been cleaned (had to dock a star for this). Another plus is the new maintenance team (I think they had a chance in maintenance staff around Sept/Oct 2021). The new staff does an outstanding job of making sure all machines are promptly fixed, and when a machine goes down, they quickly put signage on it including estimated repair date (love this).

Sad that this gym in christmas suspend my account because another parent attack me in the child center arguing about something that my son did. Is pretty sad after years of been member just because victoria and the general manager take this decision. Basically guys you can't complain about anything about employees here or something that you thing was not right. Even if they punish your child without give a juice to drink and you pay for that 25 dollars for the activity. They have a record of your complains and they basically can terminate your account. A company that cover employees like this definitely is going down. The general manager didn't even call me or email me back to ask what happen. Basically guys i didn't do anything and my kids are out. So lifetime punish kids with the membership. Kids are not allow to do anything wrong. 😒. Have a great christmas after 15 years of membership. Im agree with all the moms about victoria and her assistance child care doesnt know what to do with kids. I dont understand why they are working with kids if they dont like them.
