The amenities and options here are high end and endless of course. But I cannot stress enough how amazing the people who work here in general everyone has been amazing but I have to give a special shout out to, Sarah Holleman, Misty Dossey, & Bianca Moose; they have been so incredible and have gone above and beyond as Ive begun my journey here at Life Time. I sincerely hope you come in, and let them make you feel as welcomed as they made me. Also, I hope
the higher ups see this as well so these 3 amazing women can be appreciated and recognized! Thank you so much again!

Member at this gym for about 5 years. This specific location has just been on decline. Mens sauna not available for use almost every other time I come. Mens locker room always trashed. Worms in shower since day 1. Not tripping on the last two price increases but I’d like to get what I pay for.
The Colleyville location seems to be more nice & clean.
Jared & Scotty are awesome.

The worst 345.32 I have ever spent Lifetime Fitness Alliance is a complete disgrace
I don’t normally write reviews but my experience with Lifetime Fitness in Alliance Texas was so bad it needs to be told. I was paying 345.32 every month for a family membership myself my wife and my son and what I got in return was disrespect humiliation and terrible service.
On September 1st I called to cancel my membership effective immediately. On September 2nd I went in person and spoke with Sarah the concierge manager. I explained that my wife no longer felt comfortable at this gym my son did not enjoy Kids Academy and the only reason I stayed was pickleball. The schedule changes made it impossible for me to attend with my work and family. Sarah insisted the 30 day cancellation policy was non negotiable. She said I could use the club through the end of September but that did not help me. She showed no flexibility.
Then on September 2nd Angelina Santopoalo the Pickleball Lead reached out and offered to build me a schedule. What I received looked like it was thrown together with no thought. No travel time no real detail just something generic that could have been copied from ChatGPT. I told her it did not work for me and that I would not continue my membership.
On September 3rd I had signed up for open play on courts 3 through 8 from 6 to 8 PM. I was moved from the waitlist just minutes before the two hour cancellation cutoff. Because of my unpredictable work I called around 415 to 430 PM to ask if I could give my spot to someone else. I was told no. I asked if I could still play if I arrived late. The staff member said yes and I told him I would be there before 7 PM.
I arrived at 633 PM rushed to the locker room and went to the outdoor courts. Only three people were there one practicing serves and two people playing singles. No check in no open play no structure. I went upstairs and saw advanced pickleball play.
Angie appeared to be putting up barriers so I waited. When she came out I asked what was going on. She cut me off and said I got your email. I explained I was asking about open play not the email. She said I am running intermediate leagues. I told her there was no one outside no check in and only three people. She shrugged and said sometimes people do not show up.
I then went to Sarah’s office. I told her this was exactly why I wanted to cancel immediately. I told her I had never felt more embarrassed or disrespected. She simply said OK. Nothing was done.
Lifetime Fitness Alliance is not about health community or service. It is about locking people into expensive memberships shrugging off complaints and delivering far less than the luxury they promise. Save yourself the headache and wasted money. I will never step foot in another Lifetime Fitness again.

This gym is my happy place! I can come here to focus on me and my health and fitness. The instructors for group fitness are of a higher caliber than other gyms. Their energy and expertise take your fitness to a higher level. The facility is so nice and clean. There is a good variety of equipment for all levels of experience. There is a sauna and hot tub in each locker room and two pools (indoor/outdoor). I’ll never leave my gym!

Title: Longtime Member With Mixed Feelings – Outstanding Facilities, Disheartening Pickleball Decline
As a proud “founding member “of LifeTime Alliance, I’ve been with this location since the early trailer days. I’ve seen it grow, evolve, and flourish, especially under our current general manager, Ivette. She’s done a phenomenal job maintaining the standard of excellence we pay a premium for: spotless facilities, consistently working machines, fresh towels always available, and even that pleasant aroma that greets you when you walk in. Upstairs, it’s clear where our membership dollars go, and it shows.
However, the reason for my lower star rating lies in the sharp and ongoing decline of the pickleball program, which was once a thriving and vibrant community and is now, sadly, a shadow of what it was.
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world. Previous management understood its potential, leading to the exciting conversion of all 16 tennis courts into pickleball courts. This was part of a larger vision, as once stated in a public post, “Alliance will be the HUB for pickleball in DFW.” That vision felt alive under the leadership of Shawn, our former pickleball manager. He helped build the community nearly from scratch, capturing interest, hosting events, and maintaining strong member engagement, often with very little support. Was he perfect? No. But the energy, communication, and sense of growth were undeniably there.
Enter Angie, the new pickleball manager, and a complete departure from what we had come to expect at LifeTime. Unlike Shawn, who was present, engaged, and genuinely cared, Angie has taken a closed door approach. No greetings. No visibility. No interaction. Several members, myself included, have attempted to voice concerns and offer constructive feedback, only to feel ignored. I speak specifically from my regular experience in the mornings, and I have found the atmosphere to be very similar during my afternoon visits as well.
Operationally, the program has suffered:
Once consistent Open Play schedules are now replaced with clinics that rarely fill up
Open Play during prime hours has disappeared
LifeTime Alliance is NOT represented in the official LifeTime pickleball league, a major missed opportunity
The once busy outdoor courts are now often empty and poorly maintained
Courts are dirty, with limited usable pickleballs (many of which are old and damaged). We have 16 courts and 5 good balls. This is unacceptable, especially when pickleballs are supposed to be included in our membership
The indoor pickleball courts are in poor condition and almost unplayable. They have little to no bounce, several dead spots, and are generally unpleasant to play on. Recently, the courts were closed for maintenance, and many of us hoped this meant the issues would finally be addressed. Unfortunately, all that was done was a coat of paint. Not only did it fail to solve the problems, but the paint actually made the courts worse
The result? A noticeable drop in pickleball participation and, sadly, membership cancellations. With nearby alternatives popping up, the lack of leadership and vision here is costing us our community.
What’s most disappointing is not just the operational issues, but the lack of communication. Leadership in a member driven environment starts with being present, approachable, and willing to listen. That’s what we had. That’s what we lost.
But I still believe a turnaround is possible. LifeTime has already proven its commitment to excellence in other areas of the club, and the investment in pickleball was bold and forward thinking. With the right leadership, communication, and willingness to listen to longtime members, Alliance can reclaim its place as the premier pickleball hub in the area. The courts, the members, and the energy are still here. We just need a renewed focus and the right support to bring it all back together.
I share this with the hope that LifeTime leadership will listen, respond, and act for the good of the community we have all helped build.

This is a review about pickleball only. I was introduced to the sport at this gym a few years ago when Patti was here; she was great and super welcoming. Then Shawn Smith took over as the pro. I took his clinics and he was basically a coach to me and would even VOLUNTARILY play me in skinny singles even though I was super bad; he did all this to make me a better player.
Then after having my baby, I came back to this specific gym to play pickleball again. And things were different. Shawn was gone and I noticed the pickleball players I used to play with had either left and had gone to other PB facilities or they seemed completely unsatisfied with the new PB staff. After a few visits, I understood why. The PB schedule was all over the place and not consistent. Some of my friends’ court reservations would be canceled last minute and without notice. Ummm, what?! The pickleball courts - both indoor and outdoor - were worse quality than some public courts I’ve been to. Why are we paying so much for such bad courts? Even though a lot of my friends voiced their concerns to management, they just brushed them off. I think my friends are pretty reasonable, and have even tried to come to some sort of compromise with management but it’s been a year now - and things have gotten worse, which I didn’t think was possible.
That’s why I am contemplating ending my membership here and going to other PB facilities, where there is a consistent schedule, where management cares, where the courts are nice, and I don’t have to beg for water to be refilled when it’s a thousand degrees out. Is that too much to ask for?

We’ve been part of the pickleball community at Lifetime Alliance for years, but the program has seriously declined since the new Pickleball Lead took over. Reliable and competitive open play, especially on weekends, has been hindered by clinics and leagues that monopolize court time and are often poorly attended.
She has seemingly made no effort to understand the needs of regular members. Many of us have started playing at other Lifetime locations like Colleyville, Flower Mound, and Westlake as well as other organizations like The Picklr just to get the quality of play and access we used to have here.
On top of poor scheduling limiting the accessibility of the indoor courts, the outdoor courts are poorly maintained. Trash and used towels are left behind routinely, balls are scarce, and no one seems to take ownership of basic upkeep. Recently, a large group was playing outdoors and found every water jug empty. When the pickleball lead was asked about it, she said, “That’s not my job.” That attitude says a lot.
The final straw was the firing of a recent employee, the only team member who actually listened to member concerns and tried to find solutions. She was the only one who seemed to be trying to mend the growing division between management and members. She wasn’t responsible for the scheduling issues and was never given the authority to fix them.
We’re deeply disheartened that our attempts to improve the program and preserve the community we value were met with resistance, blame, and the removal of the one person that tried to help. This experience has left us feeling unheard and unwelcome.

As a member for 2 years I’ve always appreciated the exceptional amenities, clean facilities, and vibrant community atmosphere. The gym has provided a wellness experience that truly stands out, which makes it all the more disappointing to see a noticeable decline in certain areas — particularly the pickleball program. I’ve heard the CEO of lifetime is a huge pickleball fan - I’m sure he would be furious that his 19 courts are being mismanaged and underutilized due to direct employees. The entire indoor facility is basically unplayable due to the floor lacking any bounce.
What was once a well-organized, welcoming, and skill-balanced environment has started to feel disjointed and mismanaged. Scheduling inconsistencies, lack of communication, and less thoughtful coordination have made it harder to enjoy the sport and connect with fellow members in the way we once could.
It’s hard not to associate these changes with what appears to be broader shifts in leadership. It all started going downhill when most of the great leaders left for Westlake. I’ve observed a general drop in consistency across other parts of the gym as well, which is unfortunate given Lifetime’s premium brand and pricing. We pay nearly $400 per month - make it worth it! Often times there are noisy tasks being handled that should clearly be handled outside of member visiting hours - cleaning/grinding the floor and other construction projects.
That said, I remain hopeful that the club will soon return to the standard of excellence many of us have come to expect and deeply value.

PICKLEBALL REVIEW:
I’ve personally witnessed the rise and fall of the pickleball program at Lifetime Alliance. I joined in April of 2024 and it is astonishing to see how it is run now compared to back when I first joined. I used to really enjoy the advanced clinics with Shawn Smith. We often had a good turn out for those clinics and were able to improve our skills. He was always around, would always introduce himself, he was a very smart player who was gifted in teaching, etc. Ever since he was let go, there hasn’t been advanced clinics. Shortly after he was gone, the open play schedule became inconsistent amongst a long list of other issues that I’d be happy to discuss with someone other than the person supposedly running the program now since I have had a meeting with that person already. The pickleball community took a big hit when Shawn was no longer at Alliance, but now it’s taken another hit as ANOTHER good employee in the pickleball department has recently been let go and she always did a wonderful job and was well liked by the pickleball community. It is extremely confusing why now TWO of the very good pickleball employees have been let go. The person running the program now is rarely seen by many of us. There are constant issues in the program including rarely having enough playable balls outside, having to call to get water outside in the heat, no more open play on Fridays inside, courts have trash everywhere, etc. I play at Westlake and Colleyville and those programs are run extremely well compared to whatever is going on at Alliance. I have tried voicing my concerns to the district manager, but he did not respond to my email. There’s really no structure for the pickleball program at Alliance, especially when it comes to open play. It has been very upsetting seeing now TWO very good employees gone with no explanation to the pickleball community. I play more at Westlake now since the program is run extremely well, but I do still have friends at Alliance that I like to see and it’s always frustrating seeing all of the issues over there. If you’re looking to join lifetime for pickleball, I’d recommend Westlake or Colleyville for this area of DFW.

Don’t try to come play pickle ball here for open play because they treat you like it’s an exclusive club and if you’re not in the club and they don’t know you then they’re not gonna let you play.
Came from San Antonio showed up at 8 AM to play while I’m on my trip a few guys insisted that they were waiting for their friend.
We warmed up for 25 minutes until the friend came , obviously enough time to have played a full game. I thought maybe they don’t play with girls. But then a girl showed up and they let her play. They ignored me while I sat there for over an hour. After they won a game, they just switched sides and pretended I wasn’t there. Terrible experience I would never come back to this gym.
Sharing with my people on Instagram as well so no one else waste their time trying to come play pickle ball here with a bunch of snobs .
I’ll just play when I go home to San Antonio. We don’t treat people that way in my city.

I’ve been to a few lifetimes and this is my least favorite one. I just moved to the area and was very excited about this Lifetime facility however I was disappointed after my first class.
In my opinion, the space is disorganized, half the time there’s a few squat racks missing a barbell. Weights are always out of order. And the space overall feels very cluttered together. The instructors are not as detailed oriented during classes as far as instruction with the workout. The facility doesn’t seem as clean as others. By looking at the schedule compared to other lifetimes, you can tell their short staffed as far as teaching classes goes.
Going from a different lifetime to this one was truly disappointing because I was a big Lifetime fan until I went to this facility.

Life Time Fitness has truly been a blessing to me and my Family. Today marks my 21st Anniversary. I wouldn't be here had it not been for you and your team at Lifetime. As a Disabled Navy Veteran, I faced some challenges. After my duty, I married the love of my life; who was on a tour of her own in the Navy.
I opened PTO (Private Training Only) in Columbus, Ohio, teaching Kickboxing and Spinning classes between personal training sessions while attending Columbus State University in 1998. She had extended her tour. So I closed my business and moved to Naples, Italy 🇮🇹 after marrying her. Io parla Italiano benisimo. I trained for MWR (Moral Welfare & Recreation) on base and took classes at the University of Maryland. While training out in town, working a program on television, "Ale Faldo De Kilomanjaro," and two nightclubs. We next moved to Hawaii, where I opened a daycare center entitled, "Father's Care." Then worked on ESPN's Bodies in Motion with Gilad.
Next, we were on our way to Rota, Spain. There, I focused on school-age care and youth sports; having three sons of my own. Leaving Spain 🇪🇸 as a Teen Programs Coordinator, I took that title with me back to Virginia Beach. Just before my wife retired, I had a "Grand Mal Seizure" and was admitted to John's Hopkins Hospital to have brain surgery. After that, I wasn't the same man. Unable to walk, speak, 60% of memory loss while gaining 200lbs! It was very depressing. The staff at Lifetime are genuine caregivers, looking out for your best interests.
I Love This Place!!!🥰🤗😇

I had a membership at this location for over a year. I was mostly disappointed because of the little amenities & lack of sanitation for paying $200 a month. The locker room and showers were not always clean and the one time I forgot my shower shoes and showered without I got a wart on my foot! That shows they don’t properly clean their facilities. The workout classes were nice but most of the time I was less then a foot away from the person next to me because there were lots of people (specifically barre and yoga). The Pilates instructor never reached out after I told them I was interested in doing classes. There were also not many weight machines for being a “gym” and a lot more cardio machines. I just don’t think for the price you’re getting what you pay for.

I use this gym 5-7 times a week for the past 6 months. I enjoy lifetime as a gym and I pay for my wife and daughter to use the gym as well. I fell that the gym can be cleaner and the locker room areas can be improved. The showers have at least 2/3 out of order and they are definitely not always clean. I would suggest you get someone cleaning them every hour on the hour like buccees. The parking lot needs security or cameras as several people cars have been stolen and broken into. This is worrying for such a large facility and company. The staff are great and they work their tails off. Either they need more help in the locker rooms or they need someone full time cleaning stalls and showers. Take note from buccees. You are a huge company, you can afford this. The clients deserve this for the membership fees we pay. If we wanted average sub par service and amenities we would have joined planet fitness.

My wife and I are both members of this club, with a total membership cost of $400. While the exercise facilities are great, the amenities are hit and miss.
At least once per month, the men's locker room is in disrepair, with multiple showers blocked off as is the pool. The other issues is inconsistent water pressure and at least once per month (happened this morning AGAIN) NO hot water.
Essentially, we get L.A. Fitness amenities at a premium club price. The person that runs this place is obviously in over her head.

You already converted one basletball court to pickleball and now you are treating the one basketball court left as a piece of junk. We have lumps of dust on the sides. Also, I advise you add a mini soccer court somewhere outside, there is plenty of space. It looks like pickleball is all that matters here. Its frustrating!

Truly a place you can spend your entire day! The gym offers a variety of experiences, from getting in a great workout to enjoying a meal at the café. There’s so much to do—whether it’s playing pickleball, swimming in one of the three pools, or even treating yourself at the LifeSpa with a massage, wax, or a fresh haircut and nails.
One of my favorite things is having access to the studio when classes aren’t running—perfect for stretching without feeling self-conscious about some of the poses. And if you're looking for a relaxed end to your day, there's even a bar on-site.
What’s really impressive is their Recovery Center. It offers dynamic stretches, cryolounges, hydro massages, and compression systems, making it an excellent option for post-workout recovery. The trainers at this gym are also very knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend making use of the one free session that comes with the membership.
For families, the kids' center is amazing! My nephews absolutely love it, especially the tumbling classes. They also have specail dates for "parents night out" when the kids center stays open later than normal. They’ve also had all their swim lessons at Lifetime, starting when they were just 1 year old.
There are so many pros to this place, but there are some downsides too—mainly the cost. If you’re not using the full range of amenities, the membership might not feel worth the price. I was lucky to join when it was $115 a month, but newer members are paying about $200. Keep in mind that this gym has membership tiers, and access to one location doesn’t guarantee access to others. As someone who travels frequently, I’ve run into this issue. However, you can call ahead and arrange up to 3-day access at different locations, which is helpful.
Overall, Lifetime Fitness Keller is a fantastic facility with tons to offer—just be prepared for the cost if you’re not fully utilizing it!

This gym desperately needs expansion. The stupid gym classes take up every rack on the floor and there are too many people to be able to expertise effectively. Only way to get anything done is to show up at like 2:00am or midnight.

This club has everything you want, and the staff is very nice. However, the two-stars is because my extremely expensive membership does not allow me to use all the Life Time's in DFW. This is an absurd practice. I'd like to use the Las Colinas facility sometimes as it's on the way to the office. I was told that to use Las Colinas my membership would increase $50 per person (even though I'm the only one who would use it) taking my monthly due's over $500. Are Las Colinas and Northlake too bougie for us poor Alliance folks? Trying to keep the riff-raff out? Someone explain this to me? What a ridiculous policy.
Edit: I just got back from the gym and was reminded that also part of my two-star review is that the men's showers always smell like sewage/urine and the fact that the lap pool is ALWAYS full of leaves. Unacceptable for what I pay here. Do better.

We became members for Pickle ball. It's not cheap, but if you want to play pickle ball it's a great alternative to the "other" Pickle ball place in our area. You can get a court most of the time. The outside courts are almost always available. The inside courts are a little harder to get, but not terrible. We've only been members for a week and have already played 4 times. That wouldn't be possible at the "other" place. The staff is awesome. Everyone has been great.

The gym itself is super clean and comfortable for everyone from beginners to professionals to train at. Lifetime has become my lifestyle!

Very much a country club atmosphere without the golf course. Great facility and might make more sense for a young family. For additional cost, they provide other services like personal training, Pilates and a Breakfast/Sandwich/Salad restaurant and bar. As for me, it’s overpriced for my use, and depending on traffic, it’s a 20 to 30 minute drive from where I live. Also, was unable to use my (age related discount) membership at other Life Times in other states.

The facility is top notch, but I am writing this review based on my personal experience. I compete in shooting sports. There are many shooting sports in Olympics. As a matter of fact, Winter Olympics Biathlon event was called Ski Patrol and Shooting. There are many competitive shooters who train in public gyms besides me. I do not train with any fire arms, or even models of fire arms. I just hold my hands in front of me, as if gripping a pistol, and practice target transition, reload, and drawing. I never point at any person. Part of the shooting sports require fast and accurate shooting while heart rate is elevated. So the only way for me to train for that is to practice the shooting movements after an intense session of cardio workout or METCON.
After a few weeks of classes, a manager came and talk to me. She said that my shooting practice was making some members uncomfortable, even though I was did not point my fingers to simulate a gun, and did not point at anyone. I told her that I did not break any rules based on the policies, and I was not pointing at any people. She asked me to step to the side if I must practice, and not do it in a group.
For the next several weeks, I did just that. When I need to practice shooting movements while heart rate was high, I would step to the side and point my hands at a wall, and practice side shuffles and transition. Then today while I was working out, I was approached by the general manager of the facility. He said that even my action of holding hands together in front of me made some members felt intimated. He asked me to stop making any type of shooting sport gestures all together.
Politics aside, shooting is still a very broad Olympic sport that can be participated by all age groups. The club should not be in a position to police which sport can be practiced in the facility. What if I find pickle ball offensive and can not bare the site of people hitting the poor plastic balls? Are they going to ban that sport and movements?
This issue only happens at this specific Life Time location. I also go to the other locations, and they have never given me any issues. Until this issue is resolved, I would not recommend this Life Time location to anyone.

I have never had any issue with this gym when I travel to it except for today. If you're reading this today just know that the pool area is about to close at 6:00 p.m.. what's frustrating about that is that I just called like 30 minutes ago and I asked about the hot tubs in the locker rooms and instead of the front desk going oh we do have hot tubs in the locker room however right now they're closed or oh our pool area they're going to close at 6:00 p.m. they didn't do that they just said yeah we've got them. And not only that but they have not updated their website to say oh our pool area is going to be closed or our small areas are going to be closed which is something that they usually do. I am not happy that here on my travels through Texas that I wanted to stop at a gym that resemble mine only to not be able to utilize the features because nobody had any decency to say hey they're not available or they're not going to be available with XYZ time. And I am not happy about it as I have a right to not be happy with it I have been a lifetime member since 2017. I wasted my time my gas when I could have gone to the other one in Dallas. It's a big inconvenience and quite frankly poor customer service and something that I expect that lifetime is better customer service.

Recurring issue. One Smith machine in gym, people using the Smith machine area for other exercises other then Smith machine. Taking dumbells and not even using Smith machine frequently oscillating when the building is FULL. some people don't have etiquette when this building is very busy. If you aren't using the exact machine only, move on and come back. You shouldn't oscillate dumbbells and a machine when people are waiting an additional 30 plus minutes to finish a workout.

A good place that is mostly good (many great people work there) with a few rough spots.
Joined in 2018 and after a few months I stopped attending. Joined again in 2021 and have remained a member.ever since.
The club is spacious and has a good amount of equipment. Depending on your time to visit you will have no issue with getting into your workout. There are plenty of classes to find what works for your routine. The pools are cool and warm and work really well. It would be nice to have more water classes available. The staff does a really good job of keeping the place tidy but the members can often make it hard on them.
The front desk team works hard to accommodate everyone and get to remember every member that regularly attended. A very nice personal touch.
The facility is not cheap though so make no mistake about that. You pay for the experience that you get.

Not worth the money anymore! I have been a member there since the gym first opened few years ago. I have a family membership that cost me almost $300 per month. In recent months, I have received few emails from the General manager about increased dues. I accepted a couple of them in the past because I'm a reasonable person and I understand prices go up every now and then but now they are getting out of control to the point that they are reviewing our dues every other month and applying changes as they see fit. I'm more disappointed by the fact that the general manager agreed to keep my rate the same two months ago and now he changed his mind and when I asked him to honor his customer promise he stopped responding. I cancelled my membership today and will share that info with many of my colleagues and friends who are also Lifetime fitness members or prospects. They obviously do not care about their loyal customers so I'll spend my money elsewhere!

For the amount of money, the members pay the building should be maintained better. There is a lot of wear and tear all throughout the building. The main concern is the equipment… it’s bad they need to replace the majority of the equipment. Several machines and benches are outdated, janky, and unbalanced. Which is a safety concern… also I noticed that the placement of the machines feels cramped and I’m not sure why they decided to do that when there is alot of dead space in the gym.
Other than that the staff are great and that’s the only reason I didn’t give the building a one star.

Extremely Concerning Experience - Not a Safe Gym for Kids
I am writing this review with a heavy heart to share my deeply unsettling and alarming experience at this gym. I urge all parents to consider the safety and well-being of their children before even considering bringing them here. From start to finish, my child's time at this facility was nothing short of dangerous and disheartening.
First and foremost, I want to emphasize that every single employee at this gym seems to put on a fake show to maintain a facade of professionalism. However, behind this mask, I witnessed firsthand the potential harm that can befall innocent children. My child experienced physical injuries during their time here, and when I gathered the courage to address these concerns with even the managers, I was met with indifference, belittlement, and utter disrespect.
Despite clearly and explicitly outlining the injuries sustained by my child, not a single action was taken to rectify the situation or even investigate the circumstances. The lack of accountability from the management team was truly shocking. I was left feeling frustrated, helpless, and most importantly, concerned for the safety of all children at this gym.
As a parent, it is our responsibility to trust and believe that the places we entrust the care of our children prioritize their safety above all else. Sadly, this gym failed to meet even the most basic expectations in this regard. The utter disregard shown towards my child's well-being is unacceptable and deeply troubling.
I implore every parent reading this review to look elsewhere for a gym that truly values the safety and happiness of its members. It is not worth risking your child's physical and emotional well-being at a place that consistently demonstrates a lack of sincerity, empathy, and accountability.
In light of my experience, it is my sincere hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for the management of this gym. It is high time to reevaluate their practices, prioritize the safety of their young members, and address the concerns raised by concerned parents. Until then, please think twice before considering this gym for your child's well-being.

If you’re looking for a safe place to leave your children while you work out then this place isn’t for you. This is how I picked up my daughter (with a black eye) and nobody cares. Spoke to the General Manager twice. He basically told me he didn’t care if we canceled our membership and we could always just go to the YMCA.

I am utterly disappointed with the childcare services provided at Lifetime fitness. As a concerned parent, I entrusted the safety and well-being of my child to their supposedly top-notch childcare system, only to be met with constant dismay and distress.
Upon picking up my child after each visit, I discovered my little one either injured or in tears, without any prior notification from the gym staff regarding the incidents or any explanation as to how these injuries occurred. This lack of communication and accountability is completely unacceptable.
It is the responsibility of the childcare workers to ensure the safety and happiness of the children under their care. However, it appears that the staff at Lifetime fitness is either neglectful or ill-equipped to handle their responsibilities, as evidenced by the consistent injuries and emotional distress my child experienced. The fact that the workers themselves seemed clueless about the causes of these issues only further highlights the incompetence and lack of attention to detail within the facility.
My overall experience with Lifetime has been disheartening, and I would caution any parent considering this facility to think twice before entrusting their precious little ones to their subpar childcare system.

Overall lifetime is a good gym that keeps their facility clean. I’m not happy that they took away they standard membership but plan leaving people to only have the option of their signature package which is way too expensive for most people. I don’t believe anyone should have to pay over 120 dollars a month for a gym membership. I will not be continuing my membership here.

Really sad to have to let this place go. I've been using lifetime since 2009. Started in Colleyville in high school, to now. I've used this location since I've moved to Fort worth in 2020. It has always been on the lower end of the spectrum for me when comparing it to the other lifetimes. But sadly I cannot justify the cost for this lackluster establishment and terrible cleanliness and customer service. I have complained multiple times to different outlets about how unsanitary the lockers, showers, sauna/spa rooms are. Absolutely filthy depending on when you go, legit mud on the floors, trash everywhere and people shaving everywhere they're not supposed to with no enforcement or cleanup. That has been my main irritant with this store. But the staff is also rude and transactional. The "trainers" they have upstairs only seem to be there to sociaize and to give regular gym goers a hard time. Majority of staff have an attitude as if you are bugging them or interrupting their day for being up at the gym in "their" space. I don't pay for training so that's more annoying than anything, but still shouldn't have to deal with them. My complaints about the club not being clean have all fallen on deaf ears. Someone from the store even left me a voice-mail saying that I was rude for calling them out. My final straw though is the continued price hikes. They have raised the price 3 separate times within the past fiscal year. Each time giving the covid excuse which we are all tired of at this point. But this last time they raised the monthly due another $10 with no warning or email or anything. Just had to find out by seeing the price increase on my monthly statement. Not to mention the number of staff has gone down over time. I hung on as long as I could because I like paying for a BETTER gym experience, but this store no longer delivers that. I can't logically keep paying more for something that continues to get worse. Hopefully this store cleans up their act and follows after their sister stores examples, because this Alliance location has left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't see myself returning to this location, and I don't think they much care about turnover.

This Location needs some work. Some trainers are overstepping their rank, being rude about assisting patrons. I shouldnt be told what to do in a condescending manner at a Gym that charges $130+. I should be able to make use of all equipment and respected. Not a strong look.
This location lacks a lot of equipment. Very basic, bare bones gym.

I've been a member at this Gym for about 5 years now and I've definitely got some issues with this location.
#1, half the trainers are unfriendly. I stay in my own lane at all times when I workout. However, a trainer seems to always get in my way and either tell .e what to do like a child. It's not their place. I pay a membership...i have a right to use things and make use of my membership.
Some small gripes I am having when it is Spring break, christmas break or summer, the court/Gym is nearly unusable. The entire right half of the main floor is the childrens section, yet...daycare is hosted in the Gym. Which is completely fine if the Gym were maybe 3 full courts...but it's only 2, leaving 1 left for pickup games.. keeping anyone from enjoying the use of a shoot around.
80% of the time between 10Am- 6pm you're never greeted in any form when entering the gym. usually I'm scanned in and not even looked at while the hostess is in the middle of a full on conversation with someone. A little rude, you have one job...greet and check in.
After allowing a few friends to use the guess pass they are not at all happy with the equipment or the space availability. It seems to them compact when it's busy and i would have to agree to an extent. When hours are busy this locations workout floor just isn't large enough for everyone.
Most of the time I have to workout at 5Am or after 7pm to avoid the rush. Not saying this is not a nice Gym, it's beautiful... it's just not built for space. The biggest complaint i hear from guests are they dont really have thay diverse of equipment...sort of basic. I disagree but it's the feedback I hear.
For the monthly cost I am expecting a little more availability for what I need to get in and do. of course not everything is possible, but for what we Pay ..i shouldn't have to put of a days excersice because of space.
Small requests...throw some music/speakers in the basketball court. TV's in the locker rooms. Cold pressed juices in the cafe.. you have yourself 5 stars.
