Can’t even begin to describe how much the environment in this gym has improved. The GM Matt is by far the best GM that I’ve seen at this location in the 17 years I’ve been going. The friendliness of the staff, the greeting and the smiling faces in the front lobby, the cleanliness, and the overall culture is outstanding. The service and smiles in the cafe is outstanding. This club truly does deserve recognition as a whole for the tremendous improvement.

People look happy, the employees look happy to be here. It feels like a community. Thank you so much for making this lifetime a great place to be. Please share this with your staff so they know how much it means to your members to see the improvement and their efforts have all paid off.

I was recently sideswiped in the parking lot by one of their contracted security guards. Unfortunately, the driver didn't accept responsibility for the fault and didn't have insurance. I got told by the staff that one of the managers was going to reach out to provide me with camera footage but they never did. Although, the security guard works for a third-party vendor LT should really look into who they hire and have responsible personnel to represent their brand.

Other than that I've been a frequent member for the past five years and have seen the management team try to improve the quality of the gym. It sucks that something preventable could change my mind on the organization.

The daycare staff and trainers at this facility are excellent, professional, friendly, and highly skilled. Unfortunately, the overall experience is undermined by poor management. There are frequent issues with basic operations, such as the lack of clean towels available and insufficient downtime scheduled for proper maintenance. The manager, Dallas, has been consistently unprofessional and dismissive in interactions. Additionally, key amenities like the pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna are often unavailable without clear communication. Guests are frequently told to “wait 30 minutes” with no guarantee of resolution. These recurring issues significantly detract from what could otherwise be a great facility.

I’ve been a Lifetime member for 8 years and have always had positive experiences with the staff most are fantastic and very helpful. That’s why my experience on 9/1/2025 was so disappointing.
During check-in, the system wasn’t working properly, and I had trouble logging into my account, even though my husband—who is on the same family plan was able to access his. I politely asked if Dallas could assist me by logging in through my husband’s account, but his response was incredibly rude and dismissive. The tone and attitude were completely unnecessary for such a simple request. He did eventually help, but he emphasized that it was “a one-time courtesy,” which made the interaction feel even more uncomfortable.
I hope this feedback helps improve customer interactions in the future, because aside from this incident, I truly love all the other staff and the Lifetime experience.

I came to visit town and belong to another LT. This facility needs better cleanliness. It smells like 3 day old wet hair band/sock all over the place. No one cleans the equipment after use and there’s no attendant on the floor either. There’s no attendant cleaning constantly in the bathrooms either which places it right there with 24hr fitness, actually 24 might be better. They need properly oiled newer equipment, everything makes noise or scrapes. The lockers are not combination, they’re key card but they no longer give out key cards so you don’t have a safe place to store your belongings. Not worth the membership. It’s a shame. The two stars are for availability and classes.

The place is DIRTY. Hair and dust everywhere, blood and sweat on the punching bags and machines. If you drop a mat dust and hair flies EVERYWHERE. Janitor lead checks her clipboard and does nothing. The amount of money you pay this place should entail you to build a home gym. Been a member for 15 years to finally end it in May and yet despite all the customers that I sent over the years. Y'all still have the nerve to over bill us time and time. I even donated to Lifetime Foundation during COVID-19 out of my diamond dues to pay your paychecks despite a few of your front desk agents attitude towards me and starting a pointless argument. I have invested enough money to this corporation over years and years. Look elsewhere for a gym nothing but robbers and passive aggressive employees here. Nice gym, clean, friendly front desk. The cafe is nightmarishly slow and often make the wrong order. The employees sit on their phones and when your order is placed ahead of time, they look confused then look at you like you’re in the wrong.

I’ve been going to this location for about two years now and have really enjoyed it! Carlos, Jared, and Rebeka are always friendly faces at the front and make us feel welcome. They recently added the cycling classes back and it was greatly appreciated, Carolyn and Jen are absolutely AMAZING and we look forward to these each week!

Our biggest complaint would be the AC on the weekends. It is evident that they do not have both units on upstairs so there is nothing circulating and we have to stand in one area to cool off between sets. It’s usually fine during the week but Saturdays and Sundays feel completely different.

Visited the gym today with my parents. The month of June, a member can bring a guest in for free. That is great! My one star is for the Cafe’. They are S.L.O.W. SLOW. SLOW!!!! I ordered a Cafe’ Americano. It took FOREVER for them to get to making it. The guy taking the orders must have been new. The girl making the Americano didn’t know how to make it. I recently visited Life Time with a family member who brought me there, and I was interested in getting a personal trainer. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with a guy named Kyle. I had a question about personal training, but Kyle was incredibly rude and acted like I wasn't even there. He made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. We tried reaching out to the general manager, Matt, but he hasn't responded at all. Because of this experience, I would never consider buying a membership at Life Time.

I tried adding my family member to the gym membership and they did everything to just make it an absolute nightmare of an experience. Firstly they claimed we weren’t even family? Then refused to help us through the app. If I’m willing to pay for my family membership I believe it shouldn’t be such a stupid unnecessary tedious chores. This gym has been an amazing gym to me but the night shift front counter people are absolutely the worst if you expect to have questions about adding FAMILY members to family pass. I’ve been a loyal Lifetime Fitness member since 2018, but my recent experience at the Champions location has left me extremely disappointed. When transferring my membership back to this location, I was met with unnecessary hurdles just to get started. Once I managed to restart my membership, I was shocked by a significant price increase, which they claimed was due to switching locations. This makes no sense to me because the club level at Champions is identical to the Lifetime Atascocita location I came from. Nothing has changed to justify such an increase. On top of that, I was provided a phone number for the corporate office, but it’s nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone. I’ve tried calling multiple times without success. This lack of accessibility and customer care is incredibly frustrating. I am honestly in disbelief at how Lifetime Fitness has handled this situation. It’s upsetting to see how much the company has changed, especially after being a committed member for so many years.

Extremely Disappointed with Lifetime Fitness Willowbrook

I have been a member of Lifetime Fitness Willowbrook for several years, but the decline in service, leadership, and overall quality has been shocking. The gym is charging more while offering less! The facilities have been deteriorating, and instead of addressing these issues, they raise the rates. It feels like they’re squeezing every dollar out of members without providing the value they once did.

I tried to escalate my concerns, but it was a nightmare. I spoke with Tom in billing, who told me I can’t even contact the district manager because "he doesn’t handle customer complaints." Seriously? Isn’t that part of his job? To make matters worse, the gym’s manager is completely unprofessional and off-putting. I tried discussing the issues with him, and his attitude made me feel like my concerns didn’t matter at all.

I’m extremely disappointed with how this location is being run. There’s clearly a lack of leadership and care for their members. If this is how Lifetime Fitness is going to operate, I’ll be looking for another gym soon.

I've been a loyal customer at Lifetime Fitness Champions for a long time, but my recent experiences have left me very disappointed. I initially submitted a Google review weeks ago outlining a few issues, and to this day, I have yet to hear back from the GM, Matthew Kite, about resolving them. The lack of communication is very unprofessional, and it feels like my concerns are being ignored.

What’s more frustrating is that despite the rising membership costs, the quality of service has significantly declined. Equipment remains unfixed, cleanliness standards have dropped, and the overall experience is no longer what it used to be. For the price we pay, this level of neglect is unacceptable. Lifetime Fitness is supposed to represent premium service, but unfortunately, it seems like they are more focused on profit than customer satisfaction.

I hope management will take this feedback seriously and start addressing these ongoing concerns before they lose more loyal customers.

Even though this club's location is not the most pleasant in Houston, I like many features of this place compared to others (I have been to almost all clubs of this chain in Houston). So far I did not like the fact that the pools can be closed for a long time, and my favorite Barre Fusion class does not have an instructor with the right training in this, unfortunately. Lifetime is a great athletic support system for all ages and stages of physical health. They have everything you need from multiple and a wide variety of workout equipment, to all the recovery or relaxation services you could want, plus an entire cafe all in one location. You even have bonus places such as the activity center to work or the mother's rooms for private childcare. It gets even better knowing that your membership connects to multiple other facilities across the Houston area as well that are all equipped the same way and some! The membership is quite pricey and sometimes they can get a little over zealous with the upsells but the customer service of the staff is also stellar so it makes it so hard to say no 🤣. They do have multiple membership tiers and even a pause option that gives you access to their digital workout platform for $10/month so there's also flexibility built in so all in all it's the best gym experience I've ever had.

This place is the most ghetto lifetime, if you have the ability to go to a different Lifetime you should, let me start off by saying that the kids daycare is very hot. Most of the time the AC is broken I go about five days a week and out of those five days at least three days my daughter is drenched in sweat and I usually go in the mornings when it’s not too hot I always ask the staff what’s wrong with the AC and the only answers I get is that they’re working on it. I have been going to this facility built for about five months and I get the same responses, now in terms of the gym equipment they’re always working on the cardio machines because there’s always some that are broken. Posted a picture of the leg extension machine which hurts if you’re wearing shorts it’s leather so as it starts cracking, it starts to hurt your skin. They don’t have conditioner or lotion or many of the other toiletries like the other Lifetime locations, sucks that every time you ask the manager, he will take it up to Coorporate and I guess Coorporate isn’t listening because this place sucks. The only great thing about it is the staff at the daycare and that’s what keeps me in that gym because there is no other gym in the area that offers such great childcare. But for $200 a month you would think that this place would be better.

I've been coming to this gym for over 4 years and I would recommend NOT signing up to this location maybe another lifetime but not this one. As of recently there's 2 cable fly machines broken, the cable preacher curl was out of service and when they supposedly "fixed" it it's still not functioning the same before it was "fixed" I would love it if they did a quality assurance before removing the out of service sign. The leg curl machine was out of service for some time and they still never really "fixed" it. Every time you put 5 pounds on there you can feel the machine change how it's traveling when the movement is performed. This is RIDICULOUS oh yeah let's not to forget to mention every time it rains the power goes out. I've had this happen 8 or 9 times already and 2 times I had just got there so I had to go home I couldn't even workout thanks for letting me waste gas! Can't forget about the 3 times my stuff got stolen out the locker room out of my locker which management did nothing about by the way. So if your wondering if this LOCATION is worth over 100 a month it's NOT I repeat it's NOT worth it. Go check out another Lifetime maybe you'll have better luck.

As a regular patron of Lifetime Fitness Gym, I am utterly disappointed with the state of the men's locker room facilities. The broken urinals, malfunctioning weighing machine, and dysfunctional dryer have made my experience less than satisfactory.

Firstly, the broken urinals are a major inconvenience. It's appalling to walk into the restroom and find several urinals out of order. Not only is this unhygienic, but it also creates long queues, disrupting the flow of the post-workout routine.

Secondly, the weighing machine seems to have been out of order for weeks. As someone who is conscious about their fitness progress, having a functioning weighing machine is essential. It's frustrating to see the same "Out of Order" sign every time I step into the locker room.

Lastly, the dryer in the locker room seems to have given up its ghost as well. After a refreshing shower, it's natural to expect a functioning dryer to dry off before heading out. However, the broken dryer forces patrons to leave with damp clothes, which is not only uncomfortable but also unhygienic.

It's evident that the maintenance of these essential facilities has been neglected for far too long. For a gym that prides itself on providing a premium experience, this level of disregard for basic amenities is unacceptable.

I urge Lifetime Fitness Gym management to take immediate action to rectify these issues. Patrons pay a premium for membership, and they deserve better than broken facilities. Until these problems are addressed, I cannot recommend Lifetime Fitness Gym to others, and I am considering canceling my membership.

This is a poorly run, unsafe and unsanitary club.

They charge $130/month (to only use this location), will raise your membership rate (without notice) on average $15/ year, and have parking lot break ins daily.

I was a member who signed up for $70 / month, and after my membership price has almost doubled (seeing no improvements, they only reduced the number of clubs I could visit) I've had enough and will go to a $10/month gym with all of the same amenities, in a safer location, that's open 24 hours a day.

Honestly, not even sure where to begin here.

When this place opened up, the gym was nothing short of five star.

Now; half of the gym equipment is either defective in some manner or has an out of order sign. These problems go on for a minimum of a month in each instance. Showers are broken or have reversed heat and cold every other stall.

The amount of people has skyrocketed. So if you want to bump shoulders with everyone as you attempt to work out, or have naked people right up on you in the locker room, then this is the place for you.

Gym etiquette here is all but non existent. People shouting obscene conversations back and forth to each other in the exercise areas in true "college bro" culture. Towels and trash everywhere you look as if everyone thinks their mom works here and cleans up after them. People spending time hanging out on machines or scrolling social media instead of exercising. Can't enter the locker room without getting hit with the smell of someone smoking weed right before they come in.

If this place still has a saving grace, it's that the staff here, for the most part, are all pretty awesome and friendly people.

My family recently joined Life Time Champions and it has been amazing! Ricky is the absolute best. He helped get us set up and is very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. There is so much to do here and the facilities are expansive and clean. The classes are incredible- the barre class with Tasha will kick your butt!

Got my membership about 2 months ago. Haven't used it because life got busy. I came in today to get reacquainted but I was met with a not so welcoming attitude. I asked the young lady at the reception desk if she could set up my initial complimentary personal training. I wanted to do the pilates version. Of which I knew would have a tacked on fee. I'm okay with that. She referred me to the app. Then upstairs. I'm not sure what was so difficult with opening up my account and setting me up with someone. There could have been an opening this afternoon. Then she smirked at me as if I was slow. The nerve. I spend good money at this place to not feel like a bother.

When I first came and opened a membership a different more welcoming young lady was keen on helping me feel comfortable and at home. Compliments to her and I wished I had her smile during today's experience. I should have posted a positive review for her.

I think it's best that I cancel this membership and try out the new EōS. It's closer, cheaper and I'm sure they would be more than happy to welcome my money and physical fitness goals.

Made an appt for a tour today as I was checking out several different gyms. Had the best experience with my "tour guide" Ricky. Very friendly, courteous and thorough with explaining to me all the different areas and how the equipment was used and all the special features and classes that they offered. So I ended up joining and I'm really looking forward to coming here and getting back in shape.

I have been a long time member of this Lifetime Fitness club since it opened in 2004. I have never experienced my car being vandalized until yesterday after I was there only 1.50 hrs. on Friday afternoon. I knew about this possibility and there are signs warning us to hide things in our car of value. I didn't have anything stolen because they were looking for one thing drug money. I never leave cash or my purse in the car. I am not sure what made someone want to break my passenger window to access my locked car. I only found my console opened and its contents in my driver seat upon opening my car. I thought it was strange to see this in my driver seat because I didn't even notice the passenger window was missing until I saw the broken shards of glass in the passenger seat. The front desk said they knew about the incident, but never alerted anyone in the club. I thought they could have made a general announcement on their speaker system to alert the owner beforehand that there was a vandalized car issue
even though they did not know the owner of the vehicle.
While they do have some part time security there, it is not a sufficient presence to deter this activity. And unfortunately, it happens often at this club because of the number of homeless drug addicts is high in the area. They in the area living under the Freeway bridges close by where they stand and collect money for their drugs.
I am saddened to say that I won't feel safe there any more and will not go back to this Lifetime Fitness location. Even with my auto insurance helping, the cost of damages to my vehicle, this is still a $500 deductible that I must pay. Makes for a very costly trip to the gym for me that I can not afford to repeat.

I recently had the privilege of joining Life Time Fitness, and I can confidently say that it has been a transformative journey. Hi All, I am very happy with the facility but yesterday someone stole two credit cards and $120 cash from my wallet which was locked in MEN’s locker room. The locker combination code WAS NOT changed. This took place between 8:40 am to 11:30 am. In just two hours, the thief used credit cards at Mobile gas station, Target and Walmart on Highway 6 near Copperfield charging over $600. I have Reported to the Police and GM of the facility. BEWARE of keeping valuables in the LOCKER ROOM.

Update 05/06/2023. It is sad I will be canceling my membership for sport villa. Will be going to tour tomorrow. Price is High however massive decrease in value this place will fall apart like 24 hour fitness. Keep in mind I have been a member for 2 or 3 years probably. Some machine makes terrible noise. Great gym. The staff is very helpful and we love the amenities. There are 3 pools, a sauna, a hot tub, a salon, a restaurant, a networking area/lounge, a gym, a children's area, changing rooms, and a rock climbing wall on the first floor. The second floor has amazing, clean areas for different types of workouts, prepped and ready classrooms, yoga studios, and more. The outdoor pool area is super spacious and has great space for laying out, swimming, and a cafe. They have towel service and so much more. Great environment. We visited during the early afternoon, and it was not crowded at that time. We are excited to join.

We moved from Villa Sport to Lifetime because of the daycare hours. We signed up about two weeks ago and it was my first time going today for both of my sons swimming lessons. I walk in and made contact with someone at the front desk they were a bit busy and I was advised to come back so I can complete the registration process since it was my first time here(did not get a name for the first employee I spoke to) I took my sons to their swimming lessons and came back to the front desk again. I then noticed the ONLY employee there was busy so I was patiently waited for my turn. The employee while assisting another customer asked me how can she help me to which I told her I needed to complete my registration. Immediately she had a horrible attitude with me and said “Wasn’t Britney helping you?” She’s the manager she said. I had no clue who was Britney because i didn’t ask for her name when I came in initially. She then proceeded to tell me she was busy with another customer and just to complete the registration at a later, yet again! I told her how awful she was being to which she responded “I’m not the only one with an attitude” acknowledging that indeed she had an attitude with me. Horrible EMPLOYEE! For the amount we pay a month this MARGARET EMPLOYEE SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is completely wrong at so many levels ! There is so much more to this story it’s too much to type on here and I will be filing a formal complaint against this MARGARET PERSON SHE MADE MY FIRST EXPERIENCE EXTREMELY AWFUL BY HAVING A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE AND NOT WANTING TO HELP ME NEITHER! I will be calling to speak to her manager because there was no reason for those actions.

Good gym but as of lately every time I go to the gym I see someone complaining about there car being broken into and it's happening more and more. Yesterday my brother left his stuff in a locker in the locker room and someone broke into it and stole money out his wallet. When he went to the front to complain the girl in the front told him that other people had already complained about that happening to them that same day. I'm not sure if it's someone working there or someone that goes there doing it but someone has to put a stop to it. This is getting ridiculous. If this keeps on happening I'm going to cancel my membership and tell all my family and friends to never come to this location.

I’ve been hearing stories for the past couple months of car getting breaking into and even lockers. Today 4/12/23 I left before 11pm I checked my wallet had about $300 in there and it was gone! Someone is either picking the locks or and employee is stealing! Ridiculous! Seriously, Life Time- Champions location is the most luxurious Fitness Country Club in the Houston area! Plenty of amenities (Rockwall, Sauna, Basketball Court, Pickleball Court, Locker Rooms with Showers for Men, Women, and Families, Cafe, Spa, Steam Room, Indoor/Outdoor Pool w/slides & mushrooms, Hot Tubs, Kids Club with Tumbling/Movement/Art Studios, (2) Private Group Fitness Studios (one even has Bars for Barre classes, Yoga & Pilates Studio, Open Floor with hundreds of equipment options, etc). Friendly staff members: I could name all of my favorites but I have too many!! The fun classes they offer for both adults and kids, gives my entire family an opportunity to lead a healthier lifestyle. Which I appreciate the most! The spa deals… ohhhh yes! Their facials and massages are grand! The Cafe offers a range of healthy options. My faves are the Turkey avocado sandwich, fresh fruit, and smoothies! My son is 9 & absolutely loves his teachers at the Kids Academy and his classes— dance, tumbling, sports skills, rock climbing, boxing, STEAM, and Art… just to name a few! I love taking the Group Fitness Classes offered, especially: Dance, Aqua, Yoga, and Strength. And on recovery days, I enjoy a couple games of pickleball or basketball, and a trip to the dry sauna/steam room. Worth every penny! Do yourself a favor and invest in your health at Life Time. Lifetime offers everything to encourage a healthy lifestyle. However, This specific location however has to have more security measures for theft. My belongings along with 5 other women were stolen from the locker rooms which locks are provided by the establishment. I had almost $9,500 of my belongings stolen from the locker and between all the ladies from the heist, almost $100,000 stolen. This has caused much stress and frustration to all of us who were victims and the GM, after the first week this has happened, has been impossible to contact. Yes, the contract we sign stated we assume lifetime has no responsibility for theft on their premises, but this was far greater than some small break-in. This said, I still go to lifetime as this place is convenient for my family and I, but am now hesitant to using the lockers as they have completely disregarded this whole situation from many conversations I have had with other members, the other victims and with some of the employees.

Decent gym, probably the most outdated out of the locations I’ve attended. Reason for two stars is the customer service went out the window when I requested a cancellation of my service. The two representatives that greet you at the door where rude and unprofessional. Other then that it was a good ride especially at the city center location. Fry road is also a great gym. Was probably just my bad luck coming to this location to cancel and get treated in such manner.

I went as a guest but this gym did not disappoint. Staff was professional and the yoga class I joined was fantastic. My daughter enjoyed her time in the kids' care area. Great gym facilities and lots of equipment. You will always find a machine to work. Plenty of classes too, including a good variety of Silver Sneaker classes for seniors, more than at other fitness places. In the end this is the reason we signed my dad up at this gym.
I was a little put off by the phone manners and lack of information when I called to ask about available classes. Other fitness locations were much friendlier over the phone. LifeTime reception personnel, however, were friendly and open and helpful once we got there in person.

My only feedback is to inspect your have on the floor that seem to be cleaning or making sure towel bins are not full. Sometimes you see 1-2 walking in circles, talking to each other with no sense of direction or no pride in making sure gym is well maintained. Gives the vibe of not properly instructed to do a task. I have been a part of lifetime fitness for a while now and I was there this evening. Nice gym however very unsafe. My car was broken into through the passenger window and belongings were stolen (they claim they have parking lot security). If I am paying $130 a month for a gym membership I expect a high quality AND security. I asked the front desk woman if I can see video footage for a police report and she said there is not cameras in the parking lot. I would never recommend this gym as it is an unsafe location.

I like this gym. It's very clean and the equipment is always working. The staff does a great job of providing a friendly, clean and welcoming environment.
It can be pretty crowded at any given time but that just tells you how many people want to workout here.

The only downside is the off brand cross fitters take up most of the space in the morning and the coaches will kick you off the squat racks to make room for them.

The other thing is the basketball court is pretty much useless, they dont offer balls and they're down to just the one court because they turned the other half into pickle ball?
