90% of the equipment is run down and old especially cardio. Not sure why there is no capital planning. It operates like a frathouse with its own daycare. Does not have the professionalism required.
There is a problem with Lifetime in this region/ upper mgmt these are some of the worst most rundown gyms in the system. This is the most mismanaged but so are most of the north region. Director Lance Miller needs to visit his locations and get his teams in check. Enabling bad behavior needs to be reprimanded.

If using the sauna is of any importance to you, this gym isn’t going to be it. It’s a shared space for men and women, with a ratio of 98% men and 2% women. It always has a heavy smell. It is always extremely loud in there with provocative/offensive conversations going on.

I’ve had a poor experience at Lifetime. The gym and locker rooms are often dirty, showers have low water pressure, and the steam room is cleaned only every other day.
Members frequently ignore hygiene rules, and staff do nothing to enforce them. I even developed a skin fungus from the cold plunge after seeing people use it right after workouts without showering.
Management ignored my complaints and still charged me after I requested to cancel for 6 weeks that I didn’t use the gym. Cleanliness and accountability are seriously lacking.

This gym back before covid was a wonderful place and felt as if you were in some high end gym. Lifetime ever since they opened back up from covid has gone down hill. This locations managers have gone money hungry, they charge more than they did charge when they used to be 24/7 before covid. If you go upstairs and take a look at there machines you will notice some without screws, for example I was using the stretching machine about 2 months ago and the handle bar slid right out. This gym needs to either get back to 24/7 or lower their prices. This gym used to offer 2 basketball courts but now only offer one due to pickle ball. On a side note employees are disrespectful, the one I want to mention is Missy. She is a old white haired lady who has no mercy for anyone. Came in with my younger sister to show her lifetime for the first time, and missy started BEGGING me for 40 dollars as a guest fee even though I had guest passes. Cory hay is also a super irresponsible and cheap manager who doesn’t take care of the baksketball courts causing air bubbles to form under the laminate which has made me personally see a guy tearing his ACL. I have to personally email him like every 2 months to order new basketballs for the gym as all the balls are usually deflated, and the rims are always crooked, making me feel as if I’m at a lower end gym like Fitness connection. This location needs to fix there act.
Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable!

Upping my membership price by $20 and new members pay $20 more than me so in a year they upgraded the membership by $40 per month; this is what you can expect if you want to join this gym. They would love to lose me so they can get someone else at a $40 increase since I currently pay $180 and new members pay $220. Wonderful way to treat a longtime member. I don’t care about the price being $20 higher for me at $200 but it’s the principle of the matter. Bye lifetime.

I was visiting my sister from out of town and wanted to check out Lifetime since I may be moving to the area and am looking for a new gym. She’s a member, has been for over a year, and plays pickleball, which I’m also interested in. Naturally, I joined her as a guest (signed in properly, by the way).
We were rudely greeted by Lee -Picture the textbook “Karen starter pack”: short boy haircut, glasses, and an attitude that could peel paint off the walls. She marched up to us without a hello, without a smile, just straight into interrogation mode: “Who are you?” Followed by snapping at my sister that she is not allowed to bring a guest. Excuse me?
We double-checked the posted pickleball court rules. Spoiler alert: nothing about guests not being allowed. It felt less like “enforcing policy” and more like she just woke up and chose hostility. For a gym that charges premium membership prices, maybe hire people who don’t make paying members (and their guests) feel like intruders.
Bottom line: if this is the vibe, no thanks. Can we normalize not hiring Karens? When she leaves, I’ll come back.

Absolutely unacceptable experience at the front desk on Sunday, 9/28 at 4:45 PM. The lady working there was extremely rude, unprofessional, and arrogant. I simply asked to use the leg compression equipment and was told, without explanation, “You can’t use it after 4 PM on Sundays.” When I asked to see the policy, she refused. When I requested to speak with a manager, she flat-out denied me and told me to “write to the General Manager.”
It took me repeatedly insisting before she finally called the Operations Manager—who, to his credit, was polite, apologetic, and immediately resolved the issue by allowing me to use the equipment. But the damage was done.
This type of attitude and ego from front desk staff is unacceptable in a place where members pay premium fees. She acted as if she owned the gym instead of working there. With this level of arrogance, Lifetime will drive members away very quickly.
If you’re going to enforce a policy, at least have the professionalism to explain it and show the actual rule. Instead, I was met with hostility, disrespect, and dismissiveness. Extremely disappointed.

Excellent club. I want to start by saying Jessica in the LifeSpa is ahhhhmazing. She anticipated every need, like handing me a tissue or raising the angle of the table to stop my cough. Truly a master of her craft, she knows the mechanics of the human body wholly. And Plano cares! I was visiting from another state and had a disappointing experience with another member, and the management team really made me feel like they wanted to make it right - for my sake and so other members won’t have that experience. I trust they will.

7/20/25 They have so many fun classes. Love it. I am still keeping 4 stars only vs 5 because you can bring the same guest only once every 6 months. Not cool 7/17/24 they now only allow a guest every 60 days so I can’t truly bring a guest with me. This limitation sucks. They charge $50 day pass fee that is to be paid online by a visiting guest. My rating is declining from initial 5 stars to 3 stars. They also stopped serving salads at the cafe …. If you are in a pickle go straight to Muehlenbeck Plano rec center and buy a day pass there. //// This is initial review
—-> My home away from home. Great facility, conveniently located in Plano. They have a lot of classes to choose from. I would say that cycling and therapeutic yoga are my favorite classes. It’s a very good community too. I have met and made friends with so many people there. My favorite staff: Patrick, Thomasin, Missy, Austin. Honestly if you are considering, give it a try. They have a pool, indoor and outdoor , saunas and so many more fun things like pickle ball and rock wall climbing. 10.03.23 have to remove a star. They have many hydro massage chairs in the Plano club , they are available to signature clients and I am a signature member . Every time I come in people are getting a massage but no matter who I ask it’s always a no for me. Chairs are open it’s just for some reason trainers don’t want to give me access unless I purchase a workout from them. Don’t know the reason. But I pay for my membership the same way as other clients do and no solution . I am disappointed. 7/17/2024 massage chair situation improved . They now have a person that runs the chairs and a place where you can make an appointment on the app. Hours of operation are limited and I can’t remember the schedule. Aug 23 2024 ♥️♥️♥️ Salads are back !!! Love it 😍

I’ve been here for years but the last few months it’s been really dirty and poorly maintained. Shower stalls in the family area have bandaids not cleaned for weeks, giant hairballs in the drains, the floors are filthy in the pool area. The pool itself has hair, bandaids, and trash at the bottom. Pool chairs are covered in bird poop. Just not the expectation you would have for the premium fee we way to attend here.

Visiting from NY and was very excited to check out the Lifetime here in Plano. I wanted to bring one of my family members that lives here in Dallas to workout with me. I walked to the front desk to check myself and my guest in and wasn’t greeted first of all. David was too busy watching the NBA Finals. Then I asked to check in my brother who’s not a member and I was immediately denied access. We took pre-workout and we took an Uber to the gym. David could care less, he didn’t apologize or have any sympathy towards our situation. I’ve been a member about year now, never have I been bothered about guest hours before until I met David. Furthermore he failed to offer any solutions aside from telling me to purchase a day pass at 10p.m. So in other words I can’t bring someone for free at 10 p.m but they can workout as long as they pay. David was more focused on the NBA game than his guests. Maybe he was upset that the Mavericks lost so he decided to take it out on me. I’m extremely disappointed.

Showers are disgusting! There are groups of staff socializing while the bathrooms look the pictures. For a PREMIUM gym that ppl are paying $200+ a month, especially in this economy, it’s unacceptable. I’m shocked that the patrons have not complained.
The showers at the Dallas Highland Park location are way better. Someone is always in there cleaning THROUGHOUT THE DAY well into the night.
The only thing saving the Plano gym so far is that they offer Pilates Fusion and SARN is teaching the Surrender Yin class. They are the reason why the rating is at 2 stars instead of 1.

I recently enrolled in the 60-day challenge at Life Time Plano. I had the privilege of collaborating with Mr. Trule, who has been a significant source of inspiration for me. For years, I found myself stuck in a routine that yielded no results.
Mr. Trule has demonstrated that one does not need to be 25 years old or spend all day at the gym to achieve meaningful changes.
Through my work with CL Trule, I have cultivated a healthier relationship with both food and my body. He has provided support for my mental and physical well-being. I have become more conscious of the negative self-talk that can occasionally hinder my progress.
The modifications I made to my daily routine and meals were straightforward and entirely attainable for an average person like me.
With Mr. Trule's guidance, I have successfully lost fat and gained muscle within just a few weeks. Remarkably, I have managed to sustain these results.

I recently took tennis lessons with coach Uman hoping to improve my skills and enjoy the sport. While the coaching itself was decent, my overall experience was overshadowed by unprofessional behavior.
From the very start, coach Uman repeatedly brought up personal financial issues, specifically mentioning a fund for his deceased mother’s expenses. While I understand that everyone goes through difficult times, being constantly asked for money during lessons made me uncomfortable. I came to learn tennis, not to be put in a position where I felt pressured to contribute to personal causes.
This persistent behavior created an awkward environment and distracted from the lessons. I believe that professional boundaries should be maintained, especially in a coaching setting. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Coach Uman to others looking for a focused and professional tennis training experience

I’ve been a Lifetime member for three years, but I’ve decided to cancel my membership at this location. Honestly, it just doesn’t live up to the standards I’ve come to expect from Lifetime.
For starters, there’s the towel situation. Way too often, there are no towels in the men’s locker room. Members end up having to go out to the main area to grab them for everyone else. This has happened more than once, and it’s frustrating. On top of that, the upstairs bathroom is constantly out of paper towels, so I can’t even dry my hands.
Another big issue for me is how they handle their amenities. The Hydro massage and Cryo chairs are locked unless a trainer lets you in, and once the trainers go home, you can’t use them. These are amenities that shouldn’t need supervision, and it’s annoying that they’re so hard to access.
And then there’s the Pickleball and tennis courts. They don’t have outdoor Pickleball courts, and the indoor ones are always packed. To even get to the tennis courts, you have to go out through the front of the gym, which just feels inconvenient.
Lastly, the TVs. There’s no sign explaining how to connect to the audio, and when I asked a staff member, they had no idea how it worked. Most Lifetime locations use AudioFetch, but this one didn’t seem to know—or care.
For $200 a month, I expect more. Lifetime is supposed to be a premium gym, but this location just doesn’t feel like it’s worth the cost.

Story About How Lifetime (Plano) Supports a US Army Veteran with a Disabled Child
I am a US Army veteran, and my 5-year-old daughter, who has Down Syndrome, was recommended swimming by her pediatrician. Swimming is not only great for her health but also an important bonding time for us. We found a wonderful instructor, Sarah, at Lifetime, and it was perfect for us—especially since I needed to prepare for my PT test for my unit.
A few months ago, I returned to college and decided to put my club membership on hold. I notified Lifetime 30 days in advance, as required, and also informed the swim club about this. However, last month I noticed that I was charged again for swimming lessons. Confused, I went back to Lifetime to ask about the charges.
From the very beginning, the receptionist spoke to me rudely.
She said, “Don’t you know that the swim club is separate? We don’t handle their charges. If your account is on hold, you cannot enter the club anymore.”
I calmly asked, “Okay, may I just speak to the manager? I already notified the swim club about this.”
After being sent back and forth between staff for about an hour, they finally allowed me to use the remaining four lessons I had already paid for. I appreciated the resolution, even though it took a lot of effort on my part. We went to the lesson last Tuesday without any issues.
However, today, something even more frustrating happened. My daughter and I arrived in our swimsuits, ready for class, but we were stopped at the reception desk again. They claimed there were no notes on my account and asked me to explain the entire situation again. I told them we had already been approved last week and asked why this was happening.
They called the manager, Corrie, who checked the system and said she couldn’t see any notes from last week. She began calling the swim club while I stood there with my daughter in my arms, feeling humiliated in front of all the people around us. It was incredibly embarrassing!
After 17 minutes of standing there, they finally let us through. When we got to the swim manager, she immediately found two notes in the system—one from last week and even one from earlier today! Despite this, we had already missed most of the lesson; there were only 12 minutes left by the time we were allowed to enter.
How is it possible that three staff members couldn’t see the notes right in front of them for 17 minutes? Why was I treated like I was doing something wrong? I’ve never felt so humiliated in my life. All I wanted was the service I paid for. It’s not my fault that Lifetime separates its swim club operations from the main gym, but I’m the one who suffered for it.
Thank you, Lifetime, for your “support.” Take the crown off your head—you are not the only fitness club in Plano.
Sincerely,
A disappointed customer and US Army veteran

Ghetto, trash and unsafe!!!! (UPDATED)
My wife got robbed tonight, someone stole her purse wallet and sunglasses inside the locker room.
They (staff) suggested that someone sneaked behind my wife as she was setting up the password, (even my wife saying, nobody was behind her) well I have very strong opinions on that, and I strongly believe that the locker was conveniently opened by a key, well, i think what i want to say is… don’t have your business there, don’t carry any branded goods there, bc there is very very low level trash ppl at this place!
Part 2
Since we can make just one review, here follows my update on the case (3 weeks after the robbery and my review).
Life Time has done nothing, (besides this automated lame message) not a call or follow up with the case, matter on fact they said that I need to get a police report to get some action, (i will invest my time doing it even knowing they will not move a finger).
I believe my question is, since a robbery happened inside your domain and you have a formal complaint with all details provided by the victim, why you don’t move forward to try at least show your clients that you are on their behalf. Easy answer, because you are not on your clients behalf. 😉

I love the installation, the classes, day care!. I just find two problems.
There's 0 reinforcement to keep the the family restroom only for adult with a kid. I continously see men entering to the family restroom, and me as a mother of two daughters make me feel very uncomfortable. Last time I saw a group of three men entering the family bathroom. Me and other mom were in shock. She was changing her little boy there and I could noticed she was very uncomfortable. Ultimately, I decided to go to the ladies restroom with my two daughters since theb and I had better experience, but I feel bad for those moms that have boys and had to use that restroom.
And secondly, I feel that the manager from the kids swimming takes forever for answering simple emails. Took almost a week to answer me for a make up class, and when I told her I was good with the date, she never confirmed to me. So I went to the make up class not knowing if my daughter was signed up (she was) but I was in uncertainty all the time. I would believe that she is super busy but I saw her after no replying my email in the dresser taking with her friend that was curling her hair.
Other than that, I am very happy with the gym.

Have been a member on/off since 2005. Great gym chain overall, but this location has issues that management doesn’t seem willing to address.
1. Basketball court - One rim is literally about to fall off, it has TWO bolts missing! Has been this way for months. Rim sounds like it’s going to brake when you shoot. I’ve told management multiple times. They even took photos last month. Still didn’t fix. Second rim is not level. Both glass backboards look like something you’d see at an old YMCA. Very dirty!
2. Music is way too loud in some of the classes. Downstairs spin class music is like being at the club. You can hear the music down the main hallway. And no I’m not being that guy. It’s insanely louder than other LTF locations.
3. Daycare is amazing!
4. Two star review is compared to other LTF locations. Expect a lot better.

I was also very confused why the front desk lady Missy had to be overly obnoxious and rude about us not entering the club. Her customer service skills are very poor and it would be in lifetimes best interest to help her so they don’t turn away any new members. I am very disappointed in lifetime especially because their mission statement has friendly and inviting in it. I do not know where that part of the missions statement was on my club visit.

Just recently rejoined lifetime, and hating how the gym had changed so much for the worst.
Back in around 2008 when the gym was relatively new at least that’s what I was told at the location I went too they called me a founding member (probably of that location, I don’t know).
This is why the gym shined bright. The plans were all under 100 bucks a month. And the gym offered way way more than other gyms did. They kept it clean. Kept it nice. Made it worth its value if not more.
Today basic plans are out the window. Now the gym padded so many things to a plan that a membership that was under 100 dollars is now over 200 bucks.
If the quality rose even more with the price I wouldn’t have mind it but it didn’t.
This location the staff was professional and friendly. But the gym looked like an hold falling apart spooky old haunted house. At night it’s not really well lit and it just gives you a vibe that this gym has been there for more than 20 years.
The building inside isn’t any better. It’s the outdated old design building that LT had back in the day. Grout wearing away. Tiles falling out. Sprinkler pipes bulging out of the wall so much the tiles lifted around the sprinkler head. I saw water marks on the wall. Rusted metal everywhere. And the pool area wasn’t all that clean.
Plus it’s not a disability friendly pool area. All handles are loose and wobbly. And the handles to get out the pools are so small people with back problems like me can’t bend down that far to get in the pool.
If the gym wants to offer modern prices. Heck, at least bring the gym to the modern age because that old fossil of building really needs help.
And currently based on the upkeep of the old building severally showing its age and the experience it’s not a gym that should be charging nearly 200 a month. Because it doesn’t justify the charge. If they were in renovation again I wouldn’t have said anything.
But thing is nothing about that location justifies a price hike. I’m sure this location was a location that used to charge under 100 a month at one point.
Bring this gym out of the past and renovate it and make it worth the money you ask and I’ll be happy to change my rating. But as of right now price to experience isn’t justified and I cannot rate the gym higher.

Lifetime was a game changer for my family and I. It’s childcare centre made it so my husband and I can finally enjoy the gym together while still being in the same building as our little one. The staff is friendly, the classes are fun. We are able to have family time and self care all in the same day. We are addicted. Thank you life time!

I am a new member just been there a couple of months and I love that place 🤗 My friend and I go for ARORA Aqua every Saturday. The class is for seniors and everybody is so friendly and helpful from the front desk and through out the club.. The instructors are phenomenal and the staff in the women's locker room so accommodating and patient always greet us with a smile 😃 even the staff in the Cafe, shout out to Annie. We are always encouraged to do more exercises and participate in the many things that are available for a healthy, active lifestyle.

Life Time chain is great, I'm a loyal member, but this one blasts music way too loud throughout the whole gym. I understand if there are classes going on, but this is all day everyday throughout the whole building. Seems especially ridiculous given that over 90% of people have their headphones in. This actually makes them play their own music louder, hurting the hearing of the customers. I've let the staff know a couple of times about this but they seem either unwilling or unable to do anything about it. The other gyms in Frisco and McKinney are much better places to work out.

I liked the gym. Loved the group classes and had plenty of equipment which was a huge plus. Unfortunately I ended up canceling my membership due to the excessive camera usage from the so called IG fitness influencers. Cameras on tripods are very intrusive and it causes problems for people like me whom have legitimate reasons for not wanting to be in anyone's workout videos. There should at least be designated hours where influencers can record and allow the rest of us to work out in private. I have moved on to a different that does not allow recording.

I LOVE THIS LIFETIME, I have been a member since they opened in 2003 or so!! Although the SOME of the machines need updating, I disagree with some people that the locker rooms need upgrading, as they were just upgraded back in 2018 or 2019!! They are FINE!!
If there’s ONE comment I can say, the towel service is kind of lacking, but if you don’t have enough staff, then one or two are trying their best to get the towels back in the shelves in the locker room.
I’m not sure, WHY people are having an issue with Missy, every time I call and speak with her, she is NEVER A PROBLEM!! She has helped keep me with Lifetime, if it wasn’t for her keeping me at a decent rate, I wouldn’t be with Lifetime anymore… so THANK YOU MISSY for keeping me with you guys!! Maybe other people just have issues that are beyond Missy’s control and maybe a bit rude with them, but I’ve never had an issue with her.
While they could use areas of some more cleanliness, which not enough staff to help with that… I think this Lifetime is doing just fine!!

I love this Life Time! I either go to this location, Frisco, or Highland Park in Dallas. I have been here since I myself was a little kid and I do not ever think I can go to another gym again. I love all the upgrades they have done over the years. I love the location and all the trainers/people. The gym is always clean and I love all the classes they offer. The GTX and ALPHA classes here really kick you into shape! For those complaining - any gym you go to will be crowded during busy hours :). I cannot see myself working out anywhere else but at a Life Time club. The quality, consistency, and experience is unmatched.

My favorite gym to date and I have been a part of many. The best part of the lifetime gym is the classes with Signature access like Alpha Conditioning, GTX, and Ultra Fit. Juan H. is easily the BEST coach and motivator out there. His workouts challenge you in the best ways and make you always want to come back for me. I highly recommend booking a class with him! Front desk staff no matter what time of day are always so cheerful and friendly. Addison at the cafe is the most patient and hardest worker there is. LOVE THEIR CAFE!!! The locker rooms, bathroom and pool are always so clean which is always appreciated. All gym equipment that needs repaired is always done in timely fashion.

This location is very outdated especially the locker room and weight floor. The customers are paying so much money for this gym and the management can’t afford to renovate or proper maintenance . Life time Fitness suppose be a nice upscale gym . People paying so much money for this gym to be maintained well . They mind as well go to LA fitness for same condition gym for half of the price .
Another issue I would say is the front desk employees they are rude and not friendly. Management and higher up does need to speak with the whole team . Im not the only one a lot of people commented the same issue as well .

An ok establishment however they NEED to fire a staff member by the name Missy. She is extremely rude and hostile with all other staff and customers alike. It doesn’t help that she is almost always there. Besides that it isn’t like other lifetimes and is pretty much in a decline when it comes to equipment facilities etc. It is still pretty vibrant though the energy is always positive and most of the staff is great (besides Missy i’m praying y’all terminate her). It’s a pretty mid establishment all in all they can do better but it isn’t completely a failure

Once upon a time this gym use to give you great service for the amount you were paying. As of the last year I feel looked down upon and treated poorly by staff. If you are on a budget go to LA fitness there’s practically no difference other than the price.

Basketball courts here are taken Sunday morning by birthday parties every other week. We’ve told the Management team Cory and jasmine a million times that we are over 25 people every Sunday that play basketball and they promised me and bill it would Be after noon or 1 on from now on. They have promised this multiple times but they keep ignoring us and going back on their word. Today was the worst , we had 27 people playing basketball and they literally started putting tables on the court while we are playing . They already took the other court for pickle ball and they are the only lifetime here that has no party rooms so they kicked all of us out when we only played about 30 minutes. I have Frisco membership so I’m already paying crazy 180/month for one person and we can’t play ball when we want on Sundays here in Plano ….corporate greed at its finest…..
I even asked they post the birthday parties scheduled on the app so we don’t waste our time coming up here and they said no.

It makes absolutely no sense that they will take up the whole basketball court for children to play with dodgeballs for hours a day and eat food on the court. Meanwhile that is the only court in the entire gym after they removed the other one for pickleball, which nobody uses compared to the court. There is a kids playroom but instead they choose to utilize the court that members are paying unreasonable amounts of money a month to be using. If i'm spending $150 a month to use a basketball court and gym then it should be available to me as its stated in my contract from joining this facility. There are thousands of other complaints I could provide like the faulty gym equipment, flat basketballs 99% of the time, dirty steam room, smelly showers and sewage, but overall.. there is a lot that needs to be done. Do better Lifetime.

Its very pricy and needs to go back to 24/7, then i will say its worth the price especially for night workers like me and my coworkers… its just 5 more hours of operation but it would make the difference, especially now is SO crowded in the gym around morning and afternoon! But its a good clean gym & good basketball rock and climbing places, the pool really fun for the kids. towel folding in black shirts and cleaning people are helpful and friendly to me to if i need something, lifeguard are always keeping the pool cleaning and lots of towels and helpful if any requests, one white hair lady and a few others at reception desk are not helpful with membership & always look like they hate their job (not the black one who is always at night, she is always makes me feel welcome). Sauna is really nice and only sauna i find in this area, but some people like to do workouts in it and its a little bit annoying. The indor lap pool is also way too dark, put some lights in there!! We typically go to this Plano location because it is the closest. The facility is not bad and kept well. My complaint is about the staff that runs the children’s area. They do not seem to even like children or want to be working there the few times I have dropped off my child. The most recent encounter was when we went to a birthday party held there, and the staff purposely was rude and cold to a particular child. I understand that children are difficult, but you need to have some tact when dealing with children. This location really needs to do a better job finding staff that know how to work with children! So now, we drive all the way to the Frisco location more often to avoid this experience. Such a shame!

This is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a member of. The staff are happy, smiling and helpful. Everyone from the concierge to the trainers and management are highly professional. Any time I’ve experienced an issue they have addressed it promptly and professionally. The one area I’d like to see improvement is related to fixing broken equipment. When a piece of equipment is down I would like to see a sign that shows the anticipated fix date. Life Time North Dallas did this and seemed generally more responsive to broken equipment.

Really disappointed to see they have permanently taken down one of the basketball hoops in favor of a pickle ball court. These guys must be really out of touch if they couldn’t see how overcrowded the basketball courts were in the first place. Had a membership for 3 months, decent gym but they charge a ludicrous amount for little to no customer service. The two ladies at the front desk (Rachel, and the lady with white hair) have constantly been very rude and mean in the way they were speaking. It was an embarrassment going back to this gym. My friend is cancelling of those people from the way they communicate, and after considering renewing my membership, renewing it is Not a considerable option from the way I was profiled. I just started this week so things may change and my experience will be vastly different because of the time I go. That said I’ve been going between 4-4:30am all this week. I’m surprised by how many people are early risers but it tends to be the same familiar faces. Locker room is clean with plenty of towels. No issues with showers.
I will note the weight room is a bit smaller than the one in Dallas
**Update**
I'm having to downgrade this review to three stars. Do not go to this gym between 6am and 8am. I got to the gym around 6am and what a difference an hour and a half makes. Between 4-5 theres plenty of room and equipment to bounce between. By 6am you're lucky to have any walking space. I had to wait for a squat rack which is amazing considering they have like 12 of them. Every bench and dumbbell area was taken. I was contemplating just walking out but i stuck through just to see if the crowd lightened up. It didn't. I left by 7:30am and it was still almost no walking space. I'm going to try the Addison location tomorrow to see if its just as crazy.

Gym is still pretty nice but with it now being around $250 / month for a family membership, it is not really worth it.
1. The weights area is way too crowded and you wonder how many more memberships these guys will sell before they start to realize that the overcrowding has a significant negative effect on the member experience. The Allen location is not nearly as crowded and is better maintained, but just too much of a drive.
2. Basketball courts are either closed to repair yet another rim that has been destroyed, or for pickleball or birthday parties or daycare. Do they tell the members that the courts they pay for can be rented for bday parties by non members during peak hours? Or that they rent out the courts to coaches so that their teams can practice there? The members can only have access to the courts if management hasn't rented it out to nonmembers. Anything to generate more cash flows and put the members second.
3. Back to the crowds. I see all the time front desk personnel just waving nonmembers into the gym. I wonder on a given day what percentage of people crowding the weights area or basketball courts are even members. They are supposed to limit guest passes but I have brought guests twice in the last two weeks and each time the person at the front desk just waived them in. No form to fill out. Not noting it on my account as one of my limited guest passes being used. Go hang out by the front desk on a given day for a half hour and you'll see several nonmembers just walking past, other members haggling with the front desk about their nonmember friends and just being waved on through, etc. No control over access to this gym.

Big scam as it’s over populated and the staff can be rude at times - the sauna is a workout to some people over there and the sauna is filthy.

Very nice upscale fitness club. Lots of equipment that is upgraded frequently, large staff of experienced trainers, variety of free & paid classes offered from 6am - 8pm. On-site Cafe, large indoor & outdoor pools, large locker rooms with showers & sauna kept very clean, upgraded hospital-level ventilation system.
