Great class with Matt yesterday! That facility has everything you need and much more! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels more like a high-end wellness retreat than a traditional gym.

I’ve been coming here for years and while it’s extremely crowded at peak times you can get stuff done. Hired a personal trainer, Matt Hardy and the progress I have been able to make is amazing thanks to his knowledge and professionalism. This location far exceeds the one at the Rim.

I currently train at the Life Time Fitness off 281 in San Antonio, and honestly, the childcare is the only thing keeping me here. Everything else? A disappointment.
The gym floor has no real training culture and almost zero etiquette. Most people in here are “working out,” not training. They are camping on machines for 10+ minutes scrolling and talking on their phones like they’re sitting on their couch at home. It’s incredibly frustrating when you actually need to use the equipment you’re paying premium prices for, and trying to keep tempo. Put in the work and move to the next movement.
Just recently, an older man was posted up on a machine for a full phone call. When I asked to work in, he snapped at me, which escalated to a heated exchange that required someone to step in. That says everything about the culture here.
And then there’s the equipment, which is easily one of the weakest lineups I’ve seen at any fitness facility charging this much. Over half the floor is dedicated to whatever they’re calling CrossFit now, taking up huge amounts of space while the actual strength training essentials are under-stocked or missing:
No Hammer Strength high pull
No pullover machine
Only one plate-loaded Hammer Strength incline press
Only one plate-loaded Hammer Strength chest press
Only one hip thrust machine
Only one adduction and one abductor machine
*These machines are always tied up by phone-sitters*
The entire place is sterile, bland, and completely disconnected from real physical progress. This is a “fitness facility,” not a gym, and the difference is obvious the moment you walk in.
If you actually train, value equipment availability, or expect even basic etiquette from other members, this location falls way short. I stay for the childcare—and absolutely nothing else.

This place has the only public squash courts in town! The squash community is great. Try Discover Squash to learn how to play. Other amenities include a large selection of weight and cardiovascular equipment, classes (strength, cycle, yoga, aerobics, crossfit-type), indoor and outdoor swimming pools, pickleball, cafe, spa, personal training, plates, childcare and kids programming, and more!

I went in to Life Time Salon for a simple root color touch-up. My hair was light — it had taken a lot of time, effort, and money to get it there. The stylist offered to do a gloss and a serum (or some kind of treatment) to help with damage. In one session, she completely darkened my hair. Everything I had worked for was gone.
When I went back to have it fixed, the stylist said she’d use “crystals” or something to remove the color, but it didn’t work. I wasn’t asking for a refund — I was asking for them to fix what they broke. Instead, the only solution offered was to return my money. That doesn’t repair my hair or undo the damage caused.
To be fair, Melissa was kind and tried to help with customer recovery, but the general manager chose not to make it right.
At this point, I would never recommend getting color done at Life Time. For something simple like a trim or a blow-dry, maybe — but if you care about your color, go to a specialist. I made the mistake of trusting a luxury gym brand to have top stylists, and I learned the hard way that they don’t.
It’s not about the money — it’s about principle and accountability. When you damage someone’s hair, you fix it.

They can’t seem to get the sauna at the right temperature. It needs to be at least 180 last few days. I’ve come here to use it. It’s been 150 something don’t know why a company this size can’t get that right

Both Life Time Fitness clubs are the best workout/exercise facilities in San Antonio! There are multiples of similar equipment for when it is busy and even when it is very busy, the facility is so vast it doesn’t ever seem crowded. The outdoor & indoor pools are amazing. The staff & trainers are always very friendly and incredibly helpful. The LifeCafe offers a wide variety of healthy food options plus high grade supplements. And the LifeSpa offers well-trained massage therapists, as well as hair and skin treatments. This is more than a “gym,” which is why I say they are the best in San Antonio!

I've had a phenomenal experience at LifeTime 281 - San Antonio, TX. The facility is inviting, friendly, clean and organized. I started my day off at LifeSpa with a hair consultation. They were incredibly knowledgeable and respectful. I felt very comfortable learning about what is best for my hair. They also took my preferences into consideration so we could find a lovely alignment. Then I made my way to the outdoor pool. I enjoyed many laps. They provide items such as weights, noodles and kickboards which was beneficial to my health. I spent some time in the hot tub and cold plunge. I was able to go down a waterslide which was so fun. Afterwards, I sat in the steam room which has a refreshing scent of eucalyptus. I was able to enjoy their clean showers. From there , I made my way upstairs to the compression chairs. Throughout my time, I've had lovely conversations with the hospitality team and lifeguards. I'm very pleased all around. At no point did I feel over crowded or unsafe. Other members were willing to help step in when I had questions about where the restroom was, how does this machine work, etc. If you are ready to look and feel your best, I highly suggest LifeTime. It certainly is a luxury experience. ✨️ I feel wonderful.

Great all around gym. I wish they would enforce rule 11 pertaining to appropriate swimwear in the coed sauna and hot tub. I am tired of seeing full length tights being worn in the tub. I am also tired of grown men in theit underwear walking these areas.

Update 8/2026
Unfortunately, still a member here as of now around 7-8 years. Etiquette from trainers is still appalling. No consideration for members they are not training. Gym choice is either Lifetime or Golds. San Antonio needs a nicer upscale gym. Going to tour Sonterra Country Club. Annual membership for a family of four isn’t much different and Sonterra has tennis/golf. Smaller gym.
I’ve been going here for the past 5-6 years. Probably the nicest place to work out in SA as of right now somehow. The trainers have no etiquette towards members, especially when they are training someone. This is by far the most significant issue. Gym etiquette is everything. It’s actually quite surprising. Other than that, moderately dated equipment and very crowded during prime hours. If another high end gym opens up, regardless of price, I wouldn’t hesitate to move.

I’ve been a member at Life Time Fitness for years, and I used to genuinely love this gym. The amenities are excellent — the pools are beautiful, the equipment is clean and modern, and the locker rooms feel more like a spa than a gym. It used to be a place where I could count on getting in a solid, uninterrupted workout and leave feeling accomplished. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case.
Over the past year or so, the gym has become unbearably overcrowded. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve walked in, attempted to find an open bench or squat rack, failed — and walked right back out. That’s not an exaggeration; I’ve literally left the gym without working out because there was no usable equipment. For a gym charging $200 a month, that’s absolutely unacceptable. It feels like Life Time is more interested in packing in new memberships than maintaining the quality of the experience for long-time members. Until they limit capacity or expand the workout space, I can’t recommend this place — and after years of loyalty, I’m seriously reconsidering my membership.

Popped in here while in town for a wedding - felt like I needed to put in a review because so many poor reviews almost stopped me from coming. The gym is fine in every way; not their newest setup but very similar to many in the DFW area. It was busy, but not any more so than Life Times I’ve been to during peak hours.

I do like everything about this place. For how busy it is, it seems they have enough equipment. My only problem is that I love to sauna after my workouts, and the only sauna is located in the pool. When I walked up it was completely full of men wrapped in little towels and it was super weird. Made me uncomfortable so I didnt even go in. I've never been to a gym with a gender shared sauna. Very very odd given the cost of membership.

Men Use Women’s Locker Room - this facility has a man using the women’s locker room regularly. When brought to managements attention, they stated it is city policy and their hands are tied. Young teen girls and little girls, along with women, use these locker rooms to shower and change. Many women gasped and were deeply concerned, but sadly, most are too afraid to speak up. Please be aware this is the policy for Lifetime Fitness and apparently, the city of San Antonio.

Visiting this location from CA and what a miserable experience. This location is PACKED like a can of sardines, and the members are AGITATED! The experience at this location puts the lifetime brand to shame. I pay the same membership fee required at this location and I recieve so much more in CA!
What this club needs to improve:
1. Cut membership rates in half at this location as amenities are lacking compared to clubs in same price range.
Example: las vegas location has double the amenities and services (tennis court facility, 3rd floor for classes, crossfit facility, pilates facility, structured parking garage, private work spaces, cap on amount of members, and a locker room that doesn't smell like Dantes Inferno.... all for the same price)
2. Provide security in the gym area as well as the parking lot. If you are going to allow overcrowding at least provide measures to prevent injury and car break-ins.
3. You have two locations within 20 miles... they are both a diminishing asset to the lifetime brand. Rebuild one with the appropriate amenities that other clubs within the same price range have and charge triple.
Disclaimer* LifeTime fitness has no desire to change the san antonio locations because the members have no other options and continue to pay their dues.

Lifetime wants so badly to be a private club in the vein of a country club without the golf or tennis. Their monthly membership fee is really high- north of $250 per month. For that you get access to classes, athletic equipment like weights and machines, treadmills, stair stepping devices, and countless other things you would likely find in other gyms. There are men’s and women’s steam rooms, showers, and locker rooms. There are three areas for lap swimming, kids water areas, large kids area and more. There is a basketball court, three pickle ball courts, a rock climbing wall (that I have never seen used in the three years that I have been a member, squash and racquetball courts.
The problems with the facility are in the behaviors of the members. The club lays out rules- like no one under 12 in the dry sauna, or no workouts in the dry sauna, do not drop your weights, no backpacks on the weight room floor. And I have never seen one rule enforced at this club. Now other clubs in the chain I have seen them enforce rules and policies but not this one.
And tonight there was a classic- the free weight area was packed, especially around the dumb bell area with the specialized benches for lifting.
A woman who is a regular and known to other members and the staff was using a bench. I didn’t pay attention to what she was doing there. She then walks off to another machine in another part of the gym and leaves her 8-9 year old son there to lie down on the bench to hold it until she finishes her other exercises and returns.
Meanwhile other members walk around and wait for someone to finish so that they can jump in and get their work done.
I’ve seen parents take their 6-8 yr olds into the dry sauna despite a sign on the door stating no children under 12 allowed in there.
Staff see these infractions and issues but they have told me that they are instructed to refrain from acting unless harm is imminent.
That might be why a member died in their hot tub. Is it the facility’s responsibility to put a timer on every member that gets into those heated devices? No but it does explain how the guy could be there for some time before staff intervened and after he was deceased- or so I was told.
I mean I am not crazy about the place. I go because of the outdoor pools and hot tubs and they just added a cold plunge pool and I hate cold water. Ha!
Try it- it may be for you or you might be like me- waiting for someplace better to come along at a lower price

I have been a member of Lifetime for many years. LT at 281 is currently under construction, and going to LT at the Rim has been eye opening & has emphasized yet again how poorly ran 281 location is. I would love for Corporate to have General Manager at 281 mirror what LT at the Rim is doing, at least from the hygiene & cleaning perspective regardless if the cafe, restrooms, weight area… Just absurd how dirty, messy, and unpleasant odors our LT at 281 entails.

I've been a member of this Lifetime gym for over three years, and overall, my experience has been very positive. The gym is consistently clean, well-maintained, and the guest services and management are excellent!
However, when it comes to the trainers...
To provide some context, I have a background in retail management, recruitment, and sales, with experience traveling across the U.S. to open stores and build teams from the ground up.
The trainers are typically on the "main floor," but in my three years here, it's honestly disappointing to say that only one trainer has made a genuine effort to be friendly, smile, and say hello.
MO has been not only kind but has made me feel welcomed at the gym.
Employees set the tone for the experience, not the customers, and MO’s positive attitude has truly made a difference in my decision to explore personal training.

Great gym. Very very busy and a little crowded. The machines are somewhat dated for a luxury gym but the staff is amazing and have had no bad experiences as far as gym culture. If you were thinking about signing up to this overpriced gym thinking it will offer something exclusive and be “worth it” think again. I’ve been a member since 2014 and the way they treat members has just continued to go downhill. Especially after COVID changing their hours from 24//7 which it used to be, to treating guest with attitude and showing no consideration for its members. Firstly they have group training all throughout the day and week and take up most of the squat racks you thought you were signing up to take as Amat and not have to wait for like every other gym. They blast loud music on a Portable speaker and now today say they’re closing the sauna early but didn’t send out an email or any kind of notice that it would be closing early, for someone who liked to have a set schedule and routine why am I paying such a high dollar amount if you guys aren’t going to be accommodating in these situations and leave the sauna on for 30 more minutes before you close? All I was told was a very insincere “sorry”. There are some great staff here however there are days such as today where it’s a complete 180 usually amongst the younger staff. Terrible service from used to be a premium gym and experience.

The customer service is on point. Recently, the manager and two other staff members helped me with a very confusing issue with my membership (not their fault, but mine) over the course of several days. Helping me work that out deserves five stars alone. I have encountered some prickly staff members in other areas of the gym, but overall, the experience my family and I have had since we joined has been incredible for our overall wellbeing and our relationships with each other.

I just looked through negative reviews about cleanliness and staff, and I have to say that I completely disagree with these. I was looking for a change in my lifestyle and wanted to go to a gym that made me feel good to be there and this place delivers. I've been going since early this year and have been satisfied with everything I've used aside from a couple of hiccups with childcare. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and I'm greeted with a smile every day by anyone I pass by. They have such an awesome variety of machines, classes, and workout equipment for any level of exercise. It does get crowded sometimes, but it's never caused me an issue. I'm constantly seeing people walking around keeping things clean, which is great to see. I also want to give a HUGE shout out to my trainer, Alan, who has been the source of my motivation for months. He's super friendly, extremely helpful, very flexible, and does an amazing job with not scaring you off with too much at once. I wouldn't still be coming if I hadn't met him, so THANK YOU. If you are looking for a trainer, I'd suggest Alan or Emma, who I've also worked with and is awesome! I won't be changing gyms any time soon, so thank you Lifetime!

This review is mainly for summer camp here.
My grandson have been to the 9-12 summer camp now, and twice he didn’t enjoy it. When asked, he said that craft was making a drawing on a piece of paper then cover it with black paint. Engineering was… nothing according to him. Lunch at $8 was one tiny piece of a quesadilla. He said they did nothing fun. So for $60 plus $8 for lunch and having my grandson twice tell me it was kind of boring, I just wanted to share. Summer camp is not cheap!

Amenities don’t measure up to the cost of membership. The compression boots smell so bad, they never get cleaned. The basketball courts which are a paid for amenity are inaccessible to those who work a typical schedule. They are occupied all summer Monday-Friday with kids camp starting at 6:30AM, which they start set up for before that time too. They host way too many classes out on the main floor at one time, so much so that there is no where to set up for mat work without being overcrowded and stepped over. There really should be a designated space for mat work. The weight room area with the benches is also way too overcrowded. I will second the fact that the trainers lack spatial awareness and gym etiquette also, they’ll step way too close for comfort as your working on the mat, trying to carve out your own tiny area to get exercise in. At this point we’re settling, and it’s a pretty pricey thing to settle for.

I’ve been a personal trainer for 7 years and have been to hundreds of gyms from NY to CALI. This is the one of the best gyms I’ve step foot in. I also want to give a shout out to a swim instructor there named Trisha. She took me in to a class that was for members and I was simply a guest looking to join. She took me in and taught me how to swim with amazing instruction. I had the ability to swim, but never trained for it until a recent back injury in which swimming is a great way to recover. She was truly amazing and did a wonderful job teaching me the basics and I’ve never felt more capable in a pool.

GREAT PLACE, safe, clean and equipment is available. As I’m reading through negative comments…here’s my comment. Been a member since Jan 2022 never experienced rude staff, never dirty/filthy showers, if the equipment is dirty, clean before and after yourself. You can’t expect a staff member to follow you and everyone around wiping and cleaning behind you. We have some bad apples at every gym no matter where you go. For the most part this is the best gym (RIM&SO). I’ve been a member to LA fitness, Golds Gym, base gyms, 24hr fitness, Planet fitness and Anytime fitness…Lifetime is the best. Let’s be honest here, if you come to the gym at peak hours, maybe change your schedule. It blows my mind how petty some reviews are. Therefore, I come earlier when they open or later in the evening. I’ve experienced most of what the gym offers. I love the group classes, the pool (outdoor/indoor), dry sauna and steam room…it’s really awesome to have all these amenities in one gym. Maximo & Jen are friendly every morning that I go in. Pete and Ed are motivating and get to know everyone and feeling welcomed. I love it here …keep up the great work!

Some swimming instructor said there was no life guard on duty even though she was standing there and she’s a swimming instructor the irony in that itself. Regardless as a father going to a place like this and it being my first day she made us feel uncomfortable. There’s no signs about needing a lifeguard on duty plus we were just walking the edge of the water. She basically made my son cry and said I wasn’t fit to supervise him in the water.

Megan the supervisor at the lifestyle cafe is amazing.
Every time I go there she is such a joy to speak with. A big smile and great personality. Her ray of sunshine is contagious.
She goes out of her way to be helpful and kind!
Very few people out there like her.
Lifetime, take care of her, she’s a good one!

As someone who enjoys bouncing around and seeing what class structure various gyms have, naturally I knew I'd eventually find my way to Lifetime.
The price was high by San Antonio standards and they're in the same price neighborhood as a single club Equinox membership in other larger cities.
Please note, they're nothing like Equinox.
Always busy. Outdated equipment. A generally old,.darker design to the club. Packed locker rooms that don't feel clean. A ton of young teens who don't work out as much as they come to socialize and play on their phones. You can clearly see they keep putting patches on this location to avoid a full remodel. It looks nothing like the newer clubs in NYC and on the West Coast.
My main concern were the HIIT classes and while their instructors were fantastic, the tread setup in the middle of the weight floor made for terrible music volume and never really being able to hear the cues.
After several visits, I canceled my membership, as it's just not worth the hassle, the waste of time or the cost-payback ratio.
As a worldwide equinox member, I can say that this club is nowhere near that.level. While I'd love to see equinox build in the San Antonio market, I just don't ever see that happening. Hope springs eternal.

***The worst gym experience EVER***
***DIRTY,CROWDED, OUTDATED (OLD) WEIGHT EQUIPMENT***
Where do I even start? I scheduled a tour in advanced and when I arrived I was told " We're short staff and don't have time to give you a tour". I was like what? I offered to give my self a tour and he said "Okay.." I took a brief tour and signed up anyway, big mistake.
This gym is DIRTY, I didn't see anyone wiping anything down (Gross) and maybe it's because the wipe dispensers are always empty. The gym is crowded and the weight equipment is outdated for the price tag of almost $200 a month. Also if you don't want your car broken into don't come here. The manger told me the cameras only monitor "the first two rows" of the parking lot.
I attended this gym only 3 times and was still charged. They charged me $262.53 for only 3 days because I didn't give them a " 30 day notice".

I would give them no star but I don't have that option.

The aquatics department here is amazing! I tried aquatots, love to swim and the ymca and my son still couldn’t swim. It was so frustrating. These teachers quickly got him swimming and today he passed his 25 meter swim test! The teachers are so sweet and eager to help them move up in skill and I notice very low turnover. Great job!

I noticed this location had several bad reviews regarding the customer service and I have to 100% disagree. Everyone I encountered was exceptionally nice and very friendly. Hector was very nice at the lifetime café while he made my mocha madness shake. Maximo took my phone call over the phone and said sure I could stop in even though I was from Houston. Jennifer was equally nice and friendly when I walked in. So I am not sure why this location is getting, bad reviews for customer service because I experience great customer service here. Maybe the people doing the one star reviews come from planet fitness. lol

Wonderful time, absolutely refreshing. Recommend the stream room that's with eucalyptus honestly could return again just for it but much more is also available to use here and such awesome, helpful staff like Jancis that was our guide. Tough beating this place because it's cool really clean and even spacious enough that you feel comfort so highly recommend checking it out especially if you're into personal fitness.

This is a great gym. Good equipment. Clean. Fancy.
But man their customer service is abhorrent.
I was there yesterday and in the mornings most folks have x time to workout before work. No sweat, well get it crushed out and off to start the day.
Did my back/bis/cardio day then went down to sit in the steam sauna for a bit. Was in there and left for a minute to pee and came back sat down and steam disappears.
Two guys walk around and said "oh we're cleaning it". Wait your cleaning it in the middle of the day when there are 5 people trying to use it? How does that make any sense. Why not clean it in the middle.of the night when no one is present .where you aren't disturbing the morning flow.
Asked the guys "hey can we just have it on to finish up the morning"
"Uh I already turned off the water".
How dumb. And y'all ask for $100+ a month.

despite the price tag, this place is messy every time i come. people come here to better themselves and yet, every time i come here, there’s towels and equipment wipes seemingly belonging to nobody there anymore at the bottom of the machines. on more than one occasion i have seen candy wrappers as well. it’s hadd to stay motivated to go when i have to pick up people’s used wipes and return their sweaty towels from the floor into the can on the other side of the floor. (all these photos were taken on the same day between a couple of minutes. usually, more appear in different places between workouts.)
and of course, i could not take photos, but it’s hard finding a clean shower to use. in the women’s restroom, there are so. many. hairballs. i looked today and there were two huddled in the first shower that were half the size of my palm each. i’ve also seen used razors left in them as well. on the drying seats, between the showers and the saunas, people leave their towels there. this gym used to provide a can of shaving cream in each shower stall for a VERY short time.
if this gym did more to hold the people who go here accountable for cleaning up after themselves, i would be much more glad to be here. there’s a lot of amenities, such as the indoor and outdoor pools with slides and the shampoo/wash/deodorant/what have you, but… it’s demoralizing trying to go to the gym as much as possible when there’s trash around you.

I went in to get a tour to get a membership. From some one who knows lifetime gyms. This has to be the most outdated lifetime gym. They make an odd use of the space. Overly crowded and nearly $190 a month. Membership should be no more than $99 for this location. If I lived close to the rim location I can justify paying $190 but not for this location.

I don’t want to say names and call out anyone. A lot of your staff who is the face of the company when you walk in the doors can be rude. They acknowledge some they know and the ones they don’t could care less. I’ve seen your manager up front plenty of times doing the same. It’s not a good look. For almost 200 a month for a gym who isn’t 24 hours anymore Learn to have a staff put the weights back at all times. Also the bathroom upstairs is always a mess. The curl bar never has weights for the amount of members you have expand. Have another set of curl bars out like the other life time gyms that meet the needs of the amount of members they have.

This review can probably be for lifetime in general, but this location is particularly awful. Be careful. It’s nearly fraudulent.

Short: an expensive boys and girls club/YMCA.
Price: 5/5 expensive ($250 for two)
Worth it: nope!
Reason: okay so I live 45 mins away and decided I needed to get out of my peloton home workouts for a bit.. I wanted to pay a premium price to get premium equipment and be around mature adults.. boy was I wrong. This place is packed with high schoolers and middle schoolers.. I was shocked when I saw these high schoolers play tag by the treadmills.. it’s like a daycare for high schoolers/ middle schoolers…… the adults are alright.. basic injected plastic men and woman looking for a future mate..occasionally you’ll have your determined focused individuals who are there to Bette themselves! now to the equipment.. I was also shocked how outdated and how much wear and tear the equipment was.. the treadmills are are scratched up from shoes rubbing against them, the stair master were wobbly.. stationary bikes were off balanced..kinda just disappointed.. but I gave it a 3 month shot because I can just judge a book by it’s cover….. the saunas and steam rolls are very clean, along with their bathrooms and locker rooms! The first floor is actually really clean and kept up! The 2nd floor needs help…

Lifetime has really gone down hill quite a bit in the last few years. The membership fees have climbed astronomically without any improvement in amenities. This location is always PACKED. It takes away from the workout experience but I’m sure the company loves all of the money. When my child was there, the play climbing gym was broken. They’re slowly edging out the basketball courts for pickle ball because they don’t have room to incorporate pickle ball courts. I can’t see why so many people fork out the fees charged. We decided we will no longer do it. There are better options around, albeit without the “luxurious lifestyle” facade of lifetime. lol

Management has decided to shutter one of only two climbing walls in the city without warning.
I will start off by saying that I absolutely adore the staff of three that has worked hard to maintain and run Life Time’s rock wall. They have been fantastic teachers and cheerleaders since I started climbing at the location.
Unfortunately, upper management continues to fail rock climbers and chase away interested parties. They have under funded the wall and instead of addressing their short comings, they’ve decided to close it completely to adult members.
While this may not be concerning to some people, it does show that Life Time is willing to shutter any amenity at anytime—just because. What’s next? Pickle ball, yoga classes, kids camps?

I've only been to 5 different lifetimes and this one has the most outdated cardio machines. Most lifetimes have the TechnoGYM app connected to their machines but they only have an extremely small area with that feature for the treadmills.
Basically, this means if you want to run fast you're going to have to push the button over and over again to get it there. Sprint training is out. The parking is always full. Some of the most popular snacks are out. If this is your main gym for lifetime, I'm sorry.

I was forced to show my protein shake to prove it had absolutely no alcohol, and I was simply laughing at the day I had had while soaking in the hot tub. Which became a 4 hour he said she said with an immature employee. I was told my apology would come after she thought about her actions while she soaked in the hot tub outdoors 😳 At this point I had been ther since 9 am and this is occurring at 330/4 pm.
I was never given her name she embarrassed me in fro t if other members I simply asked for an apology and her name and said if I can’t get that the. I’ll cancel my membership. On the way home being now 630/7 pm I get a notification that my membership has been terminated no further explanation no apology absolutely nothing!!!

We love it! We have a family of 5, our teenager enjoys using the equipment with us and the younger two like the kids area and staff. They even have classes for the kids. As long as you go at least 5 times a month the membership is worth it. We go at least 2-3 times a week.

I had my first class at Lifetime with the yoga instructor Flandirs. She Is Amazing. I love the peacefulness of the yoga studio there was candles out, low light and very soothing meditative music. She was super helpful she assisted with getting me into correct position for my poses she was not hovering over anyone but also very ready to assist. She has a warm and grounded vibe just like you would want ina yoga instructor and she was very dedicated to the class making sure all of us felt successful.
Same day I ran into DPT Joe! I have too many good things to say about my onboarding session! He's so extremely knowledgeable I am going to be learning from him for a Long time. PERFECT amount of motivation and holding you from hurting or burning yourself out! He will work you but he will make it Healthy for you. He pointed me in ALL the right directions I am so confident now in that I will see MAJOR results soon! Kids under 12 aren’t allowed in the outdoor pool outside of the “summer season” even with direct adult supervision. So if you want to get your kids outside and active in the still very warm Texas weather, you’re out of luck here.
Also had to add that the indoor lap pool is also not allowed under 12. Plus your kid has to be “supervised” until they’re 15. Which means they’re a junior in high school before they can swim in the 4ft lap pool by themselves??? SMH

Pros:
- Awesome instructors and a wide variety of classes
- Great personal trainers
- Variety of amenities and on-site cafe
- Pretty clean as far as gyms go
Cons
- Always crowded and limited number of benches/machines
- Parking lot is wild
- Way too many kids running around
- Pool is always full
For the price paid, there should be ample space and workout equipment. There’s way too many people. The classes are awesome though and they’re the only reason I’ve stayed as long as I have.

For as much as they cost I expect more. If you want just a gym to go and workout it’s fine, but classes are not consistent and also very limited. Kids stuff is pretty much down to something called game day sports or something like that. Where is all the classes that they advertise? Why am I still paying the same amount but half the stuff isn’t available? And don’t bother with the kids swim class. We haven’t had the same instructor yet for either kid and it’s a crapshoot if they are even going to try to teach. And while they “check” people in I’m pretty sure people are regularly bringing guests that don’t pay. Why do I have to pay the fees and extra fees for the outside pool if these others don’t?

Great but as I explained to the GM, it's so hard because I'm disabled and the handicap shower stall is at the very end of the showers. It's NOT the largest stall as he said, in fact it's the smallest one. I can barely move around in it. I wish they'd put a bench in one near the front of the stalls instead. But I've only been there a couple more times since. I will be cancelling my membership as soon as I am able to! Not worth risking a fall just to shower after a workout.

Where do I even start. First there is no adult pool. There were about 30 kids in a pool shared with adults. Kids pee in pools period. It's like a water park there. Kids screaming. In the outdoor jacuzzi. Once in the dry sauna. It should be called Lifetime kids club. When I as a girl about kids in the outdoor jacuzzi she said it's alright. Then she asked someone they got the kids out. No one seems to be in charge. All the pool employees seem to be around 16. When I go to the outdoor pool I have to check in again. The showers are not cleaned enough. When I use them I often find clumps of hair in them. I come to the gym about 5 to 6 day's a week. Thinking about finding another club.
