I have enjoyed doing Mikah's Yoga for a Mission class, so when she offered a Balance class, I knew this would be extremely beneficial, along with being enjoyable. It was that & much more! I knew I needed to work on my balance & how vital it was as I age. She explained to us what we would be doing before class started with illustrated handouts that we could take home to practice & keep for future reference. I honestly considered myself an epic fail at first, but as we progressed through each class, I actually found that I was really improving. Now I can keep practicing as I review her handouts. She gave us positions & moves that we could do easily, and wouldn't take up much time. Now I have an everyday practice I feel good about. I recommend Mikah's classes. She educates us with the importance of each move. We all need this to keep moving!

Mikah is an awesome instructor ! She helps you where you are ! I have been hip and knee pain free for two years due to her instruction. If you are on the fence about yoga I can assure you walking without pain or medicine is totally wonderful . Thank you Mikah 🙂🙂🙂

Mikah is a great yoga instructor and all around sweet girl! I appreciate that she takes the time and effort in her classes to watch our form and actually teach us as opposed to us just following a leader. Her online classes are also very good with classes from 10 minutes to and hour.

My entire family loves Lifelong Yoga Therapy! Mikah is helping my teenage son with strength training through whole body muscle involvement as well as breathing techniques and mindfulness. My sister and I love practicing yoga together in Mikah's classes. Yoga helps to keep me strong and flexible. Absolutely recommend Lifelong Yoga Therapy to everyone.

This is my testimony doing yoga with Mikah. I started my journey with Mikah a couple of years ago doing yoga. At the time I started, I was having terrible back pain. I had been taking a lot of pain medication. After a couple months of yoga, my back stopped hurting. I had no more pain. I didn’t need pain medication. Last year I did have back surgery, I was having trouble walking. My left leg would go out from underneath me. After my surgery, my left leg was completely numb. It got better with time. I started falling a lot because my left leg went out from underneath me. In August, 8 months after my last surgery due to a pinch nerve, I was able to walk a little better. I still have numbness to left leg. I started back with Mikah doing chair yoga. In one of the sessions, I found I had the left leg shorter than the other by about 2 inches. All this time from my first surgery to now I walked with a limp. My last session with Mikah we were doing some stretching and I could feel my left leg release. When I got home from yoga that day, my left leg was the same as my right leg, not short anymore. I was finally able to walk without a limp, Each day I continue to improve. My balance is still a little shaky. I will continue my journey with Mikah and improve even more. Mikah is the kindest and most considerate person you will ever meet. Yoga with Mikah is gentle and smooth, no rushing through movements. I will continue my journey with Mikah as long as I can to continue with my improvement. She takes time with you if you have a disability like mine and makes adjustments to poses that I can’t do. Thank you so much, Mikah"

Mikah’s chair yoga class was the best thing I’ve done for myself in a long while, and more challenging than I expected! Although I am regularly active (walking, biking, etc.) I sensed that my core and balance had diminished somewhat in the past few years. Lifelong Yoga Therapy’s chair yoga class was the perfect choice! It helps with core/muscle strength, balance, range of motion and more. The small class size was perfect and Mikah’s supportive approach meets you where you are with gentle encouragement while explaining the purpose behind the poses, movements and breath work. Whatever your fitness level, this class will benefit you in so many ways!

I absolutely loved the Beginner Yoga class. It has been years since I practiced yoga and while in the first class I could tell I was totally out of shape, it wasn’t long before I could tell some improvement. This class was the perfect speed for me to re-learn the poses so I can do them right. I am living with rheumatoid arthritis and I was hoping that this would help but I was completely surprised by how quickly and how much it has helped me. Mikah is a wonderful teacher and a beautiful person and she keeps the classes small so that we get the personal attention we need to be sure we are doing the poses right. We get more benefit and less chance of injury that way.

When you get to be a certain age, it gets hard to do a regular yoga class with 'regular' fit people. Mikah's classes, one on one sessions, and her Life Long yoga program are great alternatives.

That's because as a yoga therapist, Mikah has advanced training in helping people with arthritis, joint replacements, osteoporosis, and other barriers to yoga, to actually practice.

She can help you achieve your goals like getting on and off the ground to play with your grandkids and preventing falls with better balance.
