Lift Strong Run Fast (formerly Crossfit The Woodlands) is a community based box gym focused on physical, nutritional, mental and lifestyle goals. We have had the honor of servicing Conroe & The Woodlands since 2002.
Our community is a fun, like-minded group of friends that enjoy motivating each other to achieve our personal fitness goals. We offer group classes, personal training and nutritional planning.
Your first workout is free and there is no commitment required.

The programming at LSRF strikes a great balance—intense enough to drive progress, smart enough to keep you healthy. The mix of strength, conditioning, and recovery is well thought out and consistently executed.
The people make it even better. It’s a group that trains hard without taking itself too seriously. You’re pushed, encouraged, and surrounded by folks who just genuinely enjoy showing up. Scott always keeps it fun and interesting.
If you want training that’s sustainable, challenging, and actually enjoyable, LSRF delivers.

Lift Strong Run Fast is hands down the best gym in the Spring / Woodlands / Conroe area… Heck all of Houston and surround areas!
Scott Wells has a well rounded regimen of fitness and recovery, tons of experience and training from some of the best in the world.

The last few years I’ve struggled with the mental mindset of getting back into a regular workout. The end of 2022 I finally started adding movement back into my daily routine. I worked myself up to daily 4 mile walks but really needed strength training. Watching my husband improve the last two years at LSRF finally gave me the courage to take that final step and join myself. I’ve only done a few sessions but each time I’ve left feeling capable, stronger and motivated to return for more. Scott just opened up a mid morning class and I’m excited too my routine. I’m a busy mama of two kids and that mid morning option is perfect for our chaotic schedule.

Scott Wells’ Lift Strong Run Fast gym has been my go to workout place for 19 months. I have free access to a fully equipped gym through my job but I seldom take advantage of it and prefer LSRF for three reasons: Scott’s experience as a trainer, his programming, and the friendliness of the other members, especially those in the 5 PM class. Everyone there has their own strengths and weaknesses and understands if you can’t do certain lifts or movements due to injury, age, or lack of experience. It’s expected. Scott can give you alternative exercises if you let him know what the problem is and what your goals are. The first step is just getting started. Don’t put it off.

Excellent programming, fun people, wide array of equipment. Go to this gym if you want to hit your goals. The workouts push you to improve over a wide range of skills and keep you consistently coming back.
I've seen a huge leap in strength, endurance, speed, and mobility in a relatively short time. My kids are noticing how much stronger Dad is these days.

I have been coming to this gym on and off for over 7 years. I am completely addicted to the programming. Scott is so knowledgeable! He not only takes the time to teach you the right technique but why it benefits you to use that technique. If you have sports injuries he can program around that for you. Everyone at the gym is super nice! I cannot recommend this gym enough.
