Late review: This facility is close to my home so I made the decision of registering my daughter who at the time was 3 years old for the beginners level (ages 3). Unfortunately, the staff were never friendly to us. Mind you we are Black Americans, and the way they treated my little and I was obvious they DO NO want people of our kind in their facility. So why take our money? They excluded my daughter from the big gymnastics event where the kids perform what they have been taught (can’t remember what it was called). When I brought that to their attention all I got was “we passed out fliers.” Fliers I never received. I asked to speak to the director and one of the staff claimed to be the director which I knew was a lie. The director and the entire staff needs to be trained on being inclusive because it obvious they aren’t. It’s mind boggling that we are still dealing with issues like this.

I would definitely not recommend this place if your child is a beginner. The coaches seem to not care at all for their safety, I almost ran into the room to tell my daughter to watch out. Not only that they did not even communicate with me on how well she did or where she would be placed. Also throughout the entire trial session, no instructions were given to her on how to properly stretch, and how to do things she did not know how to do. It's very disappointing, considering it is right across street from my kids school. If you're considering this place, do not waste your time.

I would not recommend Lobo Gymnastics as I had my children there last year and it was not even a month and my son - 9 and daughter - 5 would let me know that they were constantly bullied from the other children and the coaches were not paying attention half the time. I would inform front desk or the director, and it would stop for 1 day or 2 and then it would happen again. It is so disappointing because my children's school is right in front of Lobo, and it would be so convenient.
I am not the only mother whose children have had this problem with Lobo daycare. I started talking to other mothers and they opened up about the same issues of them experiencing this or other mothers who have had issues with Lobo and removed their children.

Both of my kids have attended Lobo Active for several years now. They attend after school as well as some summers. The staff has always done a great job of keeping the kids active. Both are usually sweaty from playing different sports when I pick them up each day. I appreciate them having a place to go and burn off some energy after school. Highly recommend!
