I have been going to this gym for over 3 yrs on and off. I've always taken my water bottle inside the gym to play basketball, or to stretch before a workout, and I've never had an issue or was told water bottles are not allowed in the gym area. The most recent visit without being told anything about the water was last week, but the minute I bring my grandkids to play basketball, the employee Carlotta came out the office yelling at us and being very rude and unprofessional. This is not the first time she does it. She has done that to several other people who take their kids to the gym area. I get rules and will follow them, but there is a fine line between enforcing the rules and harassing people to follow the rules that she didn't give enough time to make the proper adjustments because she was too busy yelling at all of us, or rules she never enforced to us when we had no kids. She tried to enforce the rule off children not being within arms reach in the gym, by having one of her staff members stand in the door way for over a minute just watching what we did making us feel really unwanted and uncomfortable. The employee literally stood on the door way and was reporting to her what we were doing, only for her to come back out yelling about the water bottle, which was a rule that was never enforced to me in the entire 3 yr period attending logan. In which all we were trying to do was play basketball with my grandkids and their dad, whom didn't even have a chance to get in the gym before being yelled at too. With the previous reviews and our personal experiences I believe Carlotta is not friendly to families with children and she has made it a habit to decide when she will enforce a rule and when not to, and choose who she enforces a rule to and who not too. Either way, the worst experience and only gym I have had bad experiences at in the entire 22 years my husband served in the military.

I like the gym because it is so close to my house, but the staff is very inconsistent. Bring my kids all the time, and sometimes it’s not an issue and other times the staff will not let them in with me. Also, been to the gym several times for volleyball during PT. Some days are no issues, and then others all of a sudden there is a personnel requirement for us to put up the net. Very frustrating that they pick and choose when it is acceptable or not.

This gym almost looks similar than the gym back in fort shafter Hawaii. The gym has rooms for different equipment and the basketball court makes it another plus for going there often for the ones that lives off base. Mainly go to that gym for the commanders cup volleyball season held there in 2023. Was worth playing volleyball there other than Soto gym.

The gentlemen George and Nick their outstanding professionalism really caught my attention from the minute I stepped to this gym being so friendly and helpful offering a full gym tour to all amenities and sections and outline all the information I needed to utilize the gym equipments, I would appreciate if fort bliss leadership to have a prompt plan to modernize and to add more bodybuilding equipments and some restorations to be done for the facility since it’s serves many veterans and active duty personnel and their family, Again Thank you Nick and George🇺🇸💪

This facility picks and chooses what rules to follow, if you are buddies with the staff you can break any and all rules to include ID check and guest policy. Management should apply policies to all patrons no matter what.

it's a gym, everything's always really clean. the sauna is great. it's only a 4 because the dress code only seems to apply if you look good. the dress code is 'family friendly' what the he// does that even mean? do they define what that means? no. I wore a leotard and a long sleeve flannel and was asked to leave. I see women here in a sports bras/tank tops but I got kicked out for wearing a crop top. some employee said to put on a jacket when it's 95 outside. I understand this is a government facility but actually set some real standards instead of picking and choosing which body type can wear what.

The staff is awesome!!!! The place is always clean and i don't think i have ever seen any "out of order" signs on any of the equipment. My only complaint, which is pretty much shared amongst the folks that I spoke to while there, is that Logan Heights Physical Fitness Center is closed on the weekends. And sometimes they are closed on training holidays.

It definitely does the job gym wise, could use a ISO Lateral Rowing station. But it definitely needs to be open on the weekends, I mean why wouldn't it be? Military, in the housing area, job requirement, so you know another thing that would make sense here.

Temperature checks and sanitizing walk throughs. They rearranged and spread out the machines throughout the basketball courts so there are plenty of cardio and muscle target machines. Patrons are encouraged to sanitize after use, but the staff will come and sanitize a 2nd time for safety.
