My child recently attended a birthday party at Lone Star Gymnastics Academy, and I cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, the experience was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making sure all the kids were safe, having fun, and engaged throughout the entire event. The facility was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything needed for a memorable time. The gymnastics activities were a huge hit with the kids, and they had an absolute blast jumping, tumbling, and learning new skills. They also took care of all the details, from setup to cleanup, which made the entire experience stress-free for me as a parent. Worst policy I have ever seen. Absolutely no flexibility. We wasted 5 makeup classes due to their policy of makeups can be scheduled only with in the enrollment period. A Good customer service is making customers happy. In this case I am not at all.

My daughter has been in tumbling/gymnastics since she was 2. Although, we didn’t start out at The Megagym, I’m SO glad we found them! I absolutely adore this facility, all of the coaches are amazing and they truly care for their students and the skills they teach. My daughter has been here for almost two years and started off in beginner rec and worked her way up to Pre-team where she has been able to excel to her full potential. The Megagym offers so many different classes as well as Parent night outs, summer camps and more! If you’re thinking of switching over or just starting out I highly recommend enrolling your little one here. Lastly, s/o to Coach Kori & Desiree yall are gems!

My daughter has attended the MegaGym for about 4 years and has enjoyed every moment! The programs truly promote confidence and growth in skills for the kids. My daughter started in the mighty-tot class and has worked her way up to pre-team where she has truly excelled. The coaches are always sweet and respectful but structured which I believe is the best way to coach. We recommend this gym to anyone from toddlers to older kids looking to grow their skills or just have some fun! They also offer summer camps, kids night out, and special events which are always a blast!

Very grateful to have met Coach Avery and Coach Tori at this gym. Our daughter is not a risk taker and very shy. Both of these coaches have embraced her personality and go out of the way to make her comfortable, but still push her to challenge herself and try new things. Very poor customer service and scheduling tool at this particular gym. Any makeup class has to be scheduled 48 hours in advance which might not seem too bad, except they have so few sessions that they hold each week. Their scheduling tool is an embarrassment. It is not available in a mobile app and is browser based only. I have been unable to access my account due to a “nationwide outage” that was not communicated proactively to customers, rather I had to reach out and inform them of the problem. The online account/scheduling tool also lets you sign up for makeup courses that your child is not eligible to take, causing further confusion. When I brought this to their attention and requested a credit on our account, I received a very rude response from the general email (would like to know who specifically, however they have no name associated with who monitors and sends communications from that box). The gym never answers the publicly listed phone number and relies on email communication which is just an awful way to do business. The WiFi is horrible and impossible for any parent that wants to try and do work. The viewing area is awful for the smaller section as well and there is ONE bathroom for all parents in the viewing area. Despite nice and friendly coaches, 0/10 do not recommend due to the poor management. Take your money to a gym with more options and helpful management.

After months of making excuses for adults bullying my daughter; my husband, daughter and I decided it was better to end her competition season early than continue to subject her to people that would treat her as lesser than, criticize her while she was in tears, and then blame her for any and all issues occurring with her, or within her vicinity. While the owner attempted to show proof of my daughter’s supposed bullying to my husband via video; he pointed out the bullying and mistreatment of my daughter instead. After all the poor treatment, I walked in to have a face to face conversation with the owner and end our agreement with the gym, I was given excuses, more blame for my daughter, and whining that we weren’t sufficiently blaming our child for the situation, but instead pointing out the leadership issues. We pulled our daughter, instructed her not to spread any information among her many friends on the team, so as not to stage a coup; the owner agreed to refund hundreds of dollars for a leotard we never received and a competition that she charged us for but didn’t sign up in time to attend; and we agreed not to push for a refund on the final regular season competition she wouldn’t be attending. We have not seen said refund of monies charged before the item/competition spot was secured. We even kept our thoughts and recommendations on the gym/coaches/leadership to private discussions; but while honesty, accountability and decent treatment of a child has been too much to ask; apparently follow through is also too much. I also attached a screenshot to show that we dropped the gym, my daughter was not kicked off.

My daughter has attended MegaGym for a few years now (off and on); we were mislead by another coach and made the mistake to attend another gym in Liberty Hill, too a very disappointing experience. We moved back to MegaGym this last year and our daughter has not only thrived in her growth but achieved her highest award (to date); 1st in State on Vault. I cannot express how important it is to find a gym and coach that really believes in what they do; and in my opinion Coach Desiree and MegaGym are true professionals in their craft.

My daughter has been with The MegaGym for 5 years now. She started taking recreational classes and just finished up her 3rd season on the competitive team.

I am so thankful for this gym. Besides home, it’s her second favorite place to be ❤️The coaches not only foster each athletes personal gymnastic skills, but they strive to keep the environment positive and uplifting.

The MegaGym and all of the staff have been nothing short of amazing. My daughter has been competing here for 3 years. We have tried other gyms in Leander and Liberty Hill and immediately knew The MegaGym is by far the best gym & MOST POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE. Coach Desiree is amazing and really wonderful with all the girls. It definitely feels like family here and I can’t imagine going anywhere else ever again. My child is flourishing and always happy/eager to go to practice.

My daughter has been attending the Thursday cheer basics but due to our schedule she will no longer be able to attend. I sent an email notification requesting she be unenrolled on 05/03 with no response and called multiple times but it just went to voicemail. I emailed again today 05/24 and recieved a response stating they never received my first email and to please forward it, which I did within minutes of their response. After that NOTHING. It's only $100 a month but it's so frustrating to be paying for something we can't use and the lack of response has been infuriating.

Update 05/25: we did receive a response and a refund for May even though they checked their inbox and could not find my first email which is more than expected. My daughter did enjoy this gym and we will be looking to send her to more classes in the future.

My daughter has been at The MegaGym for the past four years and it has been such a treasure. The owner, Desiree, is as geniune as they come and she works hard to request and implement parent feedback to continually improve the gym. During our time there, my daughter took gymnastics and tumbling. I was always impressed at how friendly and adaptable the staff were - as well as the correlation between what they were having these little ones do "for fun" & how it translated into actual gymnastics skills as they developed. The class sizes are small, and the curriculum they use is wonderful. I especially like that they do quarterly evaluations of their students & rate the skills that they must achieve in order to move onto the next level. This makes it very clear what the child still needs to work on & eliminates so much subjectiveness that you can experience elsewhere. My daughter accelerated quickly under their tumbling instruction and guidance and now has her front and back walkover. Seeing as though she is more passionate about dance, we are transitioning those skills into the dance studio - but we will always be incredibly grateful to Desiree & her staff at TheMegaGym for building a firm foundation with compassionate delivery.

Our daughter has been at the gym for years! She started in the rec classes and eventually joined the Competition Team. She's now in her 3rd year on team and LOVES it! Desiree (the owner) has always been wonderful to work with and continously asks for feedback on her business. Not many other businesses want to know your opinion, unless it's always positive.... Desiree takes any suggestions as a way to improve, which is great! The gym has grown and changed a ton since we've started here, and they're always looking to make it even better. The team coach, Ashton, is phenomenal! My daughter adores her! She has a perfect balance of friend/coach/biggest supporter which is a big confidence boost for our somewhat shy girl. As a former gymnastics coach I will say, I’m a very hard to please gym parent (in a good way, I think). My daughter wanted to do gymnastics so we tried a few gyms in the area. After a few failed, to my coaching standards(no structure, a lot of sitting, lots of line waiting, kids on random equipment) classes, we walked in The Mega Gym it felt like home. The coaches are fun but there is still structure. Our experience with this company has been nothing short of amazing.

Our daughter went to Megagym for 4 years and was on one of the competition teams. She worked her way up through the levels quickly and loved the coaches and the sport. I highly recommend this gym for both recreational gymnastics and a team sport. I wish I had gotten her in to a toddler program at an earlier age but there were none available back then anywhere in the area. MEGAGYM has a toddler program and I'd encourage anyone with a young one to check it out!!!! I couldn't have found a better gym for my daughter. The pricing is fair and the coaching is phenomenal... you won't find a better gym in the area.

My daughter has been attending this gym for awhile (under a year) and we were so excited to try it. My husband heard about it through another mom at our daughters dance school. We liked the size of the gym, considering our daughter is only 3. We also liked the small class sizes compared to larger gyms. Our issue was not with the gym itself, it was with the teen instructor (one in particular, not speaking for all of them or even the gym). The instructor we had should probably be placed with older children, outside of the pre-school age. She was not good with children. She was very unfocused and inattentive to her students. Her inattentiveness was so bad I saw a toddler fall off the high balance beam while she was helping her because she just kept staring away off into space. She did play favoritism. I would see students off task on other days and they would get rewarded a lollipop. If my daughter got off task, even for a minute, this reward was taken from her at the end of the class. For example: I saw the instructor doing a floor exercise and was on her stomach on the floor. She had this little boy jumping on her back, over and over. Did he get a lollipop at the end? yes. It blew my mind, because of how she treated my daughter had been treated by this particular instructor. Anyway's my husband and I waited to see if anything would get better, it never did. Our daughter began to hate gymnastics. She would cry in the car just trying to get her out and take her inside. When we would get inside she was holding onto me. Did we want to speak to the owner? Of course, but when when she was there she was on the floor teaching and no one sat at the front desk. The only people to file a complaint to were teenagers that would come up to the desk and then go back out to the floor. The director did email me when I went to unenroll our daughter. She said she would address the safety issues, discuss the reward system, and she apologized. Are we staying with the gym? No. We were informed we had to pay for the month with our notice before we would stop getting charges. That will go to waste because I can't get my daughter out of the car to even finish out the month there. We did switch gyms in the same city and our daughter has asked everyday when we get to go back to the new one. Having a good instructor makes the world of a difference obviously especially one experienced with toddlers. Again, my review is based solely on my daughters instructor...Not the gym itself. It looked great for the older kids who had classes at the same time with different coaches.

We put my 3yo daughter in gymnastics several months ago, and she has LOVED it! The coaches are all so sweet and patient with the little ones, but I have also been watching them with the older girls and they seem very skilled and knowledgeable. Most recently, when we needed to temporarily withdrawal for some personal reasons, they were so nice and understanding- wishing us well and even forgiving the typical 30 day cancelation policy. We will ABSOLUTELY be back in the next few months, and I highly recommend them to anyone!

I can not say enough about the MegaGym for anyone looking for a great experience from tiny tot age to competitive. We drive over 45 minutes to get to this gym. Crazy, right? Maybe Not! There are plenty of gyms closer to our home, but none with this coaching style, environment and atmosphere. This gym came highly recommended to us by another team parent and are so happy we made the move. Our daughter is on the developmental competitive team at MegaGym and has exploded in skills and confidence exponentially in the year that she has been here. The owner Desiree and coaches Felicity, Stephanie and Annie are caring, encouraging, fun and professional. Prices are very reasonable and the gym is laid back, stress free and drama free. If you are looking for your little to just start out, or make a move to a new gym home, please come and check it out! You will not be disappointed.
