Three years ago I was “cardio only”, I had no idea how to use a single piece of lifting equipment, but knew it was crucial to my goals. I had walked in, (and right back out), of several other gyms out of fear of judgment trying to find my way… Until I found Raw Iron. From day one everyone went above and beyond to help me grow and learn. The owners are amazing, the trainers are knowledgeable and there to help. I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without finding such an encouraging, judgment free gym!

I have been a member of Raw Iron Kilgore for over a year. It’s a true gym…no carpet. Real weights and plenty of speciality machines. Several of the members are competitive body builders and power lifters..There are also several trainers to get your weight training and eating on track. Everyone is friendly and willing to give advice. I highly recommend this gym.

I’ve had gym memberships at various gyms around East Texas over the years and this one is hands down my top choice. Not only was everyone super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in, but I also feel safer here than anywhere else. Being a woman, that is super important. If you’re looking for a gym to call home and want to be surrounded by a community of like minded people supporting you on whatever fitness journey you’re on, this is the place!

Be aware. Their sign says "No contract." But that is not true. There are contracts. They charge a $100 to break the contract. They take advantage of teenagers. Not explaining to them what they are signing. I would not recommend anyone to this place. If I could I would not give it one star. Local businesses usually treat local people with more respect.

Great gym in Kilgore. The atmosphere is exactly what I look for in a gym. Open 24/7, 7 days a week. Cardio, machines, free weights, you name it. The people here are great.
