After experiencing medical issues that left me feeling weak, I went to MAD looking to build my strength. Not only did the training increase my physical strength, but it also positively impacted my emotional and mental health. I had the pleasure of training with Griffin and Tim, who both create an uplifting environment and push you to go beyond your self-imposed limits. Lifting is now a part of my life and I'm grateful for the life changing experience at MAD!

I’ve been training at MAD Training since April 2024, looking for a gym to help me get stronger and more flexible to improve my golf game. From day one, the experience has exceeded my expectations.
I’ve been working directly with Kennedy, who is knowledgeable, supportive, and great at tailoring workouts to my specific goals. The gym owner is also very hands-on and consistently motivating, creating an encouraging environment where everyone feels supported.
I genuinely look forward to going to the gym every week. The team’s passion and the community they’ve built make every session enjoyable and productive. I’m also excited about the expansion improvements they have planned — it’s clear they’re always striving to enhance the experience for their members.
If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be challenged, encouraged, and supported toward your fitness goals, I highly recommend MAD Training!

Tim is really good at knowing what levels of training work best for you. As I have gotten older, I have lost some of my physical strength and Tim is really helping me fix that problem. He is very patient too!

My son trained at MAD last year and had a terrific experience. After enduring injuries and set backs that kept him out of the pool for many months, Tim and Kennedy developed a careful and thoughtful program to help him gradually build back to full training. It was creative and challenging and totally personalized to his needs and goals. The knowledge, skills and newfound strength that he acquired translated into increased confidence in and out of the pool. Now a college freshman, my son has said that the work he did at MAD gave him an essential foundation for the demands of D1 training and has eased his transition considerably.
We feel so lucky to have found Tim and his team! Highly recommend!

My son started training with Kennedy over the summer and it’s been exactly what he was looking for - just the right combination of strength, conditioning, and agility. I love that she focuses on how to properly work out to avoid injuries while also helping him realize his goals and gain strength week over week. He always feel challenged and looks forward to each session to see what new workout she has planned. Can’t say enough good things about MAD Training!

I have 3 daughters who trail with Tim and his staff. I cannot say enough great things about their training at Mad Training! My girls all play different sports (swimming, soccer, and volleyball) each session is tailored to their needs, injury prevention, and strength. After each session, my daughters share new knowledge about body awareness, strength, or nutrition. Tim and his staff are fully invested in each session!

I am a long-time client of MAD Training and I have been very happy with the results I continue to get there. The trainers at MAD really listen to my goals and design workouts to get me there. They push me to make progress, but never let me exceed my abilities. I can think of many examples where MAD training helped me avoid soreness or injury just doing normal stuff around the house. I would recommend Tim and the team at MAD to anyone looking to move and feel better.

I’ve trained with Tim and my daughter trained with Coach Kennedy. Both were phenomenal and helped us reach our goals. I was a runner recovering from injuries and needing to gain strength. My daughter is a gymnast and needed to build strength and muscle as she moved up a level. My daughter was able to master skills she had been working on for a while. Kennedy was able to connect with my girl and help her build confidence as well. We’re looking forward to working out with them again!

MAD Training is perfect for young athletes looking to take their game to the next level. Tim and his crew develop customized training plans based on each athlete's age, ability, strengths, weaknesses, and body type. Tim can even help identify specific nutritional needs for an athlete. Our daughter trained at MAD for 3 years. In that time, she increased her strength, speed, agility, and balance. She went on to receive Elite Camp offers from multiple NAIA, NCAA Division III, Division II, and Division I basketball programs, located all over the country, including Columbia University in New York City. She will carry the skills and habits she learned at MAD for the rest of her life. I highly recommend Tim and MAD Training.

I’ve been with Tim for over 10 years! We’ve become more than trainer & client. Tim is my health partner, my counselor, my fitness guru, my friend. His passion for his work and his experience are off the charts superior. Young, old; athlete, non-athlete. When you get Tim, you get the best. Period. Full stop.

Since starting training with Tim back at the end of 2021, my daughter has made the jump from the Jr National Team to the US National Team. Coach Tim is a huge part of her success, increasing her strength and power by leaps and bounds and doing it in a safe manner, which we really appreciate. In the beginning, Tim coordinated with our trusted physical therapist to help with some injuries and has also facilitated preventative measures that have allowed our daughter to continue training at a very high level. She loves going to see Tim, he keeps things interesting so she never gets bored and explains all the maneuvers to her so she knows why she is doing them. Tim's training has been an integral part in building the strength for her to become an international level athlete.

I’ve been working out with coach Tim and MAD training for several years now and I love it! I played soccer in college and many years later now as a working adult stay very active. Coach Tim tailors workouts to help me be in shape and stay healthy for whatever season I’m in. He’s also taught me a lot about form, mechanics, and force production—all things I wish I had learned when I was growing up on my club soccer teams. He is extremely knowledgeable.
Coach Tim is the owner of MAD Training and handles the business side very well. He runs a timely schedule but is flexible about rescheduling as long as you give appropriate notice. He responds promptly to communication. MAD has one other coach (who is also wonderful!) and sometimes an intern. I wholeheartedly recommend MAD Training.

I've trained at MAD for over 5 years. Coach Tim and his staff provide a great atmosphere for training, from competitive sports to everyday fitness. Each workout routine is designed with your individual needs in mind, so you get the exact training you need to stay healthy and improve your game. As an amateur athlete who also has a demanding full time job, I would not still be playing if it wasn't for Coach Tim taking care of me. Here's to another 5 years!

Tim trained all 3 of my sons during their swimming days. So when I was finishing up PT for my knee, I decided to go to Tim to continue my strength training. He was the perfect choice - setting me up for success even with my limitations. His workouts are challenging and producing the results I wanted!

Coach Tim was recommended to me by one of his former athletes and my daughter's soccer coach. First off, he and is staff are amazing and the training has translated into measurable results for my daughter. Second, Coach Tim took the time to listen to my daughter's goals and areas of need, and explained to us his process of working towards those goals. He is extremely knowledgeable, always quick to respond to questions, and provides great feedback. Coach Austin and Coach Tim not only train the body, but provide a positive and supportive emotional/mental environment for their athletes.

Highly recommend. Tim really helped me complete my recovery after physical therapy for my back and shoulder injury. I continued my sessions after my recovery was complete to build and maintain strength.
I started doing all my sessions virtually when the COVID lockdown happened and have continued doing them virtually. Tim is great at communicating and explaining correct form. He also makes sure the exercises are always progressing and changing before they become easy or repetitive.

Tim is a wonderful trainer! He is very knowledgeable about functional movement and has helped me maintain my mobility and fitness throughout my pregnancy. He is very thoughtful about the workouts and helping to progress me in a way that is challenging but also able to be accomplished. Anyone looking for adult fitness training should consider working with Tim. You will get expert, personalized service.

Tim and Austin are excellent. Different than your typical trainer as they focus on functional mobility, stability, and balance. Workouts are personalized to the athlete’s sport, current condition, and goals. They work well with chronic and acute injuries, adapting the workout to help healing and prevent future injury. We started on over the summer with weekly sessions and other coaches have already noticed improvement. Our athlete feels stronger and more stable despite having scoliosis and starting off with a back injury. Glad we opted for MAD training versus traditional training or extra practice - it works and complements what they already do at practice. Highly recommend.

My teenage son has been working with Austin at MAD Training for about a year. Last year, I was seeking a personal trainer to work with him to get him moving. With schools closed due to COVID, he was basically moving from his bed to his computer for classes and to the TV for gaming and movies. It was BAD. He's never been very athletic. He needed a trainer who could meet him where he was, and push him to do more than he believed he could do. Austin did this, and he continues to build his confidence and encourage him in a positive way. My son enjoys his sessions - the workouts and the conversation. I could not have asked for a better experience for him. He is proud of his progress, and he now understands the importance of physical activity to his health - both physical and mental. It isn't easy to find trainers who are comfortable and knowledgeable about working with nonathletic teenagers. I am grateful to have found MAD Training!

I brought my nephew here for a few workouts over spring break and he loved it. Tim and Alex are both amazing coaches. They challenged him and gave him well rounded strength and conditioning workouts... which is hard to find for youth athletes. MAD coaches are experts in this field and it showed in each session. They also gave my nephew a few specific areas of the body to work on (some strengthening and some stretching/flexibility) when he gets home to help prevent injuries and improve performance. The drop in class prices are very reasonably priced for the high level of service your recieve. Thanks Tim and Alex!

Tim is the best, a great coach and a great trainer. I am in my late 40's and way out of shape. I took his adult classes for a while and always felt I was being worked to get the most out of me that I could but I never felt that I was being pushed or asked to do something that could cause me to injure myself or going to far. My daughter has taken the kids performance and skill class and loves it. My daughter's coaches commented on how they saw a marked difference in her fitness and performance on the soccer field. Kids love Tim and he is able to get improvement in their performance while keeping the training fun and changing it up on them so they don't get bored. My daughter trained this summer with Coach Alex and loved working with her also.

Tim has been improving our family’s condition for over 10 years. While he was great for my wife and me in adult sessions for a number of years, his great success is most clearly witnessed in his work with our daughter. Sophie’s exposure to Tim’s training began at age 7. While it primarily began as soccer training, there was always a strong emphasis on the body, not just immediate growth in fitness and strength, but more importantly an expectation of what the body could become, how it could perform and how to use its strength to protect it. While some of this fell on deaf 7-10 year-old ears, it landed squarely on the 40 year-old parent ears. What Sophie did retain was that she was empowered to control her own body (and that 1st touch was really important).
Fast forward 10 years…Sophie has committed to play in an aggressive college program where increased strength, speed and balance will give her the opportunity to feel successful and contribute on the field. Tim is again the answer. His ability to communicate with college coaches to help design a plan for Sophie’s fitness has given her confidence that she will be ready for the next level, but it has also given her a competitive edge at this current level. Tim is invested in her success and she know this, allowing her to break through old barriers. We appreciate Tim Meyer and his knowledge, expertise, and support.

I love this place. Both my kids have attended their strength and agility classes and have so much fun, the trainers work them hard but they don't even realize it because they are having fun! I also have attended their adult sessions and made huge progress in weight loss and increased strength. I highly recommend MAD if you want results!!

MAD does a great job. Tim has worked with my 9 year old daughter over the summer and I've seen improvement. Her sport is soccer and he has increased her lateral movement, quickness, and first step while having a good time. Tim has to be one of the best S&A guys around.

There's nothing like a MAD work out. The trainers are highly skilled and they adapt work-outs to fit my sons' individual sports - whether it's speed and agility for basketball or getting off the blocks more quickly for swimming! The adult classes are challenging and keep me coming back!

Love going to MAD training! I personally have seen a huge improvement in my strength over the past year. Training is always challenging, but coaches change it up constantly to keep it interesting. My son loves going as well and has seen an improvement in his strength which has helped him in his sport.
