Love this place! I’ve been attending for a year and I’m still going strong. As someone who struggles to stay motivated working out alone, MADabolic Houston keeps me accountable and inspired. I was looking to add more strength training to my fitness journey and decided to try out MADabolic. The entire experience from my initial inquiry to now has been incredibly supportive. The team is there to support you in whatever your goals may be. I could tell a difference in my strength after the first month. The workouts are fun and effective and I look forward to going! My husband and I signed up at the end of January, and I already know we will be here a long time! The workout is tough but not impossible, and I constantly feel stronger. I love the 4 day a week programming. It's changed the way I think of working out for the better. The owner, Vinny, is so nice, and the trainers are top-notch also. Try a class if you haven't already!

I’ve been a member of MADabolic for about a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! As a busy full-time working mom, I was looking for a program that fit into my hectic schedule, and the 4-day-a-week structure has been perfect (shoutout 5:30 AM class). The program is efficient and effective, and I really appreciate how they encourage rest. It never feels overwhelming, and I’ve been able to make consistent progress without burning out.
When I first started strength training, I was a bit nervous since I’d never done it before, but the trainers at MADabolic are amazing. They took the time to help me learn proper form, and I feel much more confident in my workouts. They’re always there to offer guidance and make sure I’m performing exercises correctly, which has been so valuable for me.
If you're a busy person looking for an efficient, well-structured program with fantastic support, MADabolic is definitely the place to be!

I met Brandon the first day while trying a class for Momentum at noon and Vinnie the next morning for the 5:30 AM class which I believe is called Durability (more strength). I absolutely LOVED both classes! Vinnie and Brandon gave clear instructions and expectations for the classes being taught. They also walked around, helping with keeping proper form and changing out weights if necessary for everyone in the class. I loved the structure and discipline that is implemented in these classes: show up on time, don’t be late, the doors are locked at the start of class time, and no cell phones allowed in class area to prevent distractions. As someone that is easily distracted and either always has their phone or doesn’t know the last place I left it, this was just what I needed to focus on the workout at hand. I could go on about the cleanliness of the facility, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, but I will just end here with: if you are in The Heights vicinity, give it a try!!! You won’t regret it. It’s challenging, yet practical. I WISH we had one closer to me in Louisiana. However, until then, I will be back to visit and hopefully soon. Great job with this place!

It’s a 10 out of 10 experience, the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, it’s a solid 50 minute workout that includes weights / cardio / boxing, and they’ve built a community like environment. I highly recommend it

I’ve been coming to MAD since mid-May and have had an incredible experience! I had been searching for a group fitness style gym that focuses heavily on strength and have finally found it. In just a few months of consistently going to classes, I’m gaining the strength and confidence to lift heavier and my clothes are starting to fit better. The classes leave me feeling accomplished and tired, but not burnt out. The people who attend classes here are genuinely incredibly nice and the trainers are great! Trevor, Vinnie, Brandon, and Shannon all focus on form - they will make suggestions to ensure you’re getting the most out of every movement and so you don’t hurt yourself. I cannot recommend enough!

I tried out MAD after going to OTF for 3+ years because I felt like I wasn’t getting stronger. After being at MAD for 4 months, I feel much stronger and like I have much more energy to do daily life things. This is a gym I look forward to going to, where the coaches know your name and take the time to get to know you. They’re incredibly supportive without feeling overly pushy. Despite it being a full class, I still feel like they are always helping with form to prevent injuries and get you to focus on specific muscle groups. I also enjoy the pace of the three different classes and the programming definitely gets you results. I would highly recommend trying out MAD! Vinnie, Brandon, Trevor, and Shannon are all great 😊

I’m totally hooked on MADabolic !
I’ve always been into working out, but I lost my motivation and passion over time. I tried running and Pilates, but ended up with back and knee pain. Physical therapy didn’t really help, and I was looking at a long recovery.
Then I discovered MADbolic. From the get-go, I felt super welcomed. Brandon helped me set up my first class, and from there, I was all in. The customer service is amazing—Vinny, Trevor, Shannon, and Brandon make you feel like part of the family right away.
The workouts are tough but totally worth it. The trainers give real-time personalized feedback, which helps with form and keeps you injury-free.
And the results? In just 13 days, my back and knee pain are gone. I even set personal records in both my short and long runs, cutting a minute off my usual times.
Joining MADabolic has been an amazing experience! I’m so grateful for all the trainers. Highly recommended 💛

Training at MADabolic is the absolute best. The workouts are usually very different so don’t get burnt out as easily, the trainers are amazing and so personable and will actually remember you by name, lastly the best part of this place is the community. I’ve made so many great friends here and love attending the social events. Once you try it you will be hooked too!

I thoroughly enjoyed the 5 classes I tried at Madabolic! My trainers, Shannon, Vinnie, Brandon, and Trevor, were all wonderful. The trainers here are incredibly kind, encouraging, and provide personalized form corrections during class. I appreciated the supportive environment, free from yelling or pressure to maintain an intense heart rate, unlike similar studios I've experienced elsewhere. I've introduced several friends to Madabolic, and they've all loved their experience. The convenient class schedule, ranging from 5:30am to evening sessions, fits perfectly into my busy routine. As someone who typically focuses on running, yoga, cycling, and basic gym workouts, I found the fun and challenging classes at Madabolic to be a great motivator, helping me stay consistent with my overall fitness routine. 5 stars and much love to Madabolic! 🌟

Been a member for about 3 weeks now and wow do I love it. The workouts are challenging but fun and the instructors are wonderful. Every morning I go in and they somehow know and remember my name! I love MADabolic!
I have been to a number of different gyms and group fitness classes but nothing comes close in comparison! I found MAD through ClassPass and honestly wish I would have found them sooner.
The trainers are some of the nicest and most welcoming people you will ever meet and make sure you have the right form for every movement.
They provide effective and challenging workouts that will always leave you feeling like you have accomplished something great!
All of the exercises they teach are safe, well taught and intentional.

After being a CrossFit coach and competitor, it was hard to move on to something different. Recovering from four back to back surgeries, 2 fractures, and labrum/rotator cuff surgery x2 on the same shoulder, due to CrossFit injuries, was by far the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do. My body was telling me it was time, but my mind wasn’t ready. Then a friend recommended MAD, saying it was the closest thing to CF she had found. I went to one, two, three classes…with no pain. I felt the burn and was sore in all the right places, but not to the point I couldn’t function normally the next day. I started to see my strength and ROM improve, started seeing muscle definition develop in just a few short weeks. Returning to CF for the same amount of time had left me in so much pain I had to go back to my surgeon and be put on Meloxicam for several weeks just to sleep through the night and not be in pain doing everyday activities. I knew then I had found my new passion. I’ve never looked back. The programming here is ideal, giving you enough time to push, but balancing it with recovery. The coaches are top notch, and are always welcoming. They remember the little things each time they see you. MAD also fosters a sense of community, with challenges within the gym, coupled with social events outside of it. If you’re looking for something different, you need to give MAD a try.

New workout classes can be intimidating but MADabolic Heights does a really great job of creating a friendly environment. Everyone is so nice, welcoming and encouraging! I don’t think I’ve ever been to such a welcoming workout spot. As for the classes, I love that the classes are always different and challenging! I’m a fan!

I cannot say enough positive things about MAD and the experience I have had so far - but i'll give it a shot! I stumbled across MAD using ClassPass and Alex was so kind & welcoming from the moment I stepped in to the moment I left. After 3 sessions, I decided to sign up for the membership, because - YES, I was enjoying it that much. Vinnie & the whole team there (shoutout to Trevor & Shannon too!) will greet you with a smile every day and they have created such a warm & welcoming environment - while still managing to kick your butt during the workout. This has been one of the only places that I have worked out where I genuinely enjoy each class and look forward to getting to workout with this group each day. Every class is amazing! Love the music, movements, and helpful coaching during the workout.
Good to know: you can expect each class to start and end on time, which is so helpful when trying to fit in a lunch time class. Hydration is important. I upgraded my 20 oz water bottle to a 30 oz just to make it through the class. And the showers/bathroom are single-user (gender-neutral) in case you need shower before getting on with the rest of your day.

MADabolic was introduced by an instructor who I've known outside of MADabolic. This workout is really different. It is new and refreshing for a class styled gym, with instructors who mentor you for proper form and good workouts. I also like how informative the staff were on how the workout works, touring the facility, and about the program. Overall, this was a great experience, and I look forward to doing it again.

Alex, Vinnie and everyone at MAD are incredible! Working out here is the best part of my day. You're ALWAYS greeted by name and with a huge smile. The workouts are efficient, diverse and fun. I always work up a good sweat and don't get bored because of the diversity in movements. Plus, the trainers do a great job of frequently checking in and ensuring good form. If you're out of form, they give excellent and clear correction along with modifications. I love the playlist too. They've created a good community here because I almost always leave with a new friend!

Madabolic is truly unique and special. No two workouts are the same, and that’s why I love it! The trainers are amazing. They make you feel seen and heard. They truly care about you and your progress, and aren’t just there to go through the motions. They are incredible people. I’ve been a member at MADABOLIC for almost 3 months now and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! For one, I love the trainers and how friendly, knowledgable, and motivating they are. They make me feel so welcomed and take care of all my guests when I bring them to workout with me. Equipment is top notch and the space is very clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are also great! Probably my most favorite aspect of this gym is the group fitness training and the programming. Love the people I’ve met, the community feel and the variety of movements. And lastly, the RESULTS! I definitely notice the improvement in mobility and strength, and my body fat percentage has dropped!!! Highly recommend this gym for anyone and everyone! They have a really great trial (5 days!! INSANE!) that truly gives you a feel for what you’re gonna get!!! You won’t regret it!

I have been going to MAD for about 5 months I believe and I have ABSOLUTELY love it! The trainers are absolutely amazing. They not only care about you getting the most out of the workout but they care about getting to know you too. The workouts are challenging in a good way and I’ve NEVER felt bored or like it was repetitive. I feel personally I’ve seen progress in my strength so quickly. The functional strength training aspect of the workouts definitely shows through during my day to day life. There is also community at MAD. Sustainability and Aging Athletically are two major factors that I kept looking for within a fitness program in Houston. Finally, Madabolic came to Houston and I was excited to see that they had a structured program but also consider building you to thrive physically as you age rather than training you to compete at the next sports competition. Additionally, I was looking for a program that would allow me balance my own strict weight training and improving my strength and stability @MAD without overtraining. Love this place! The people are wonderful and coaches are phenomenal! I mostly love the structure of the training program it makes sense. The program is set up so you get stronger naturally and realistically without without overtraining and undereating. It’s crazy to be at a national gym where you see strength results and feel like you can still live life like a normal person. They don’t push these weird 90 day challenges. Working out is fun again! My wife and I tried MADabolic [heights] during their trial week and were instantly hooked! Vinnie and Alex were very welcoming, they take time to coach individually during workouts, and the community is super friendly and inviting. Even at lesser attended classes the atmosphere is fun, yet motivating. Coming from a CrossFit gym a lot of the movements are familiar, but the incorporation of boxing and agility makes every workout unique, challenging, and interesting. If you have any inkling of interest in giving it a try, do it.

Perfect fitness studio. I used to visit other HIIT style studios in Houston and I have to say MADabolic is my preferred choice because: 1) they do a thorough warm-up, 2) weights are lined up and organized at each station (there's no chaos of trying to find your weights), 3) the trainers watch your every move and are ready to correct your form, and 4) the routines are completely different each day. As a person who has experienced many gyms, Madabolic shows the true meaning of a training program! I really enjoy their workouts. The coaches really focus on form and performance, and overall bettering yourself as an athlete without having to overtrain. The coaches are great! I love how strong madabolic makes me feel! Not training for aesthetics but functionality. Truly feeling like an athlete! I also love that madabolic coaches people to train hard then rest & fuel correctly. The trainers also ensure I have proper form, am pushing my weights, and already know my name. We need everyone training like this! I love mad!

I have gone MAD for MAD. Vinnie and Alex are the best! Love their energy and helpful corrections. I struggle with range of motion in my squats and lunges and they are really working with me. I truly feel that they care about me and want to support my fitness goals. Plus the classes are fun, great music - good people, go and try them out!! You won’t regret it!

Great workouts, great people, clean gym. I really enjoy the MAD workout setup that isn't just throwing in a little weights after running a bunch like most HIIT gyms I've been to. To me, it's the right blend of strength and cardio. Vinnie and Alex are awesome trainers too with good, functional advice and the right amount of motivation.

Love the structure of MAD and enjoy the (hard) workouts! I like how it is strength focused and the MAD class schedule is planned for a year - super easy to stay consistent and disciplined in going 4x a week 🎉 great facility and team too!

I visited recently and Vinnie led an amazing workout. MADabolic has an incredible facility, equipment, and training staff. They have a 13-week cycle, complete with 3 different types of workout and a de-load week to truly give your body perfect exercise.
