I was interested in becoming a member so I did a drop-in class as a non-member, which costs $5. I went to pay after the class and asked if I could use a credit card. The office said yes, but said "there's a fee for that." Thinking the fee would be no more than a $1-2 since usually those fees are a very small %, I said that was fine. When I looked at my bank acct, I noticed that Magnolia Fitness Center charged me $5 just to use my credit card for a $5 class! If you're going to charge such a high fee, you need to be upfront with customers and tell them how much the fee is before they pay, otherwise that is a form of dishonesty. Needless to say, I will not be signing up for a membership or taking anymore classes.

Recently needed a gym in town closer to my house than my usual gym. Luckily my mom needed a gym covered by insurance that offers water aerobics. When she found this place she asked if I would join with her. They have tons of classes throughout the day and although it’s pretty busy at times, they do have a huge free weight selection and several different machines to utilize. Although the equipment is a little dated with so many options can’t really complain. Staff were super helpful and the sign up process was quick…Best part is very affordable, they have a tanning bed if you are interested in that and an outdoor pool. Nice walking trail, kid room for your little, and it’s 24/7 access to fit anyone’s schedule. Tucked away in old magnolia. Love it.

Looks perfect! Not too small, not too big. Took a short intro to the facility n it looks like they have everything I need. A lot of classes, all the machines, showers, lockers n wonderful staff. Can't wait to get started.

Made an appointment several days ahead to tour the facility on memorial day (a Monday). Reservation was accepted. Showed up to find the office locked....I guess I'll go look at other gyms in the area.
